C Spire devices are not locked Mr*** had an iPhone with C Spire These devices are assigned to carriers by Apple The phone Mr*** has is currently assigned to C Spire If Mr*** would like to use this iPhone with another CDMA carrier, C Spire will be glad to
Apple reassign it We just need to know the appropriate carrier prominent CDMA carriers are Verizon and Sprint Due to the fact that the phone is CDMA, it will not work on GSM providers such as AT&T and T Mobile

Mr*** purchased a Samsung Galaxy Swhich is covered by a year warranty from the manufacturer We will be glad to contact Mr*** again to arrange for a replacement This model phone has a very good track record and we will work to determine why he has had so many problems

C Spire credited this charge on 10.10. We hope this resolves the issue

Customers are billed for the full upcoming month of service Ms***'s billing period goes from the 23rd of each month to the 22nd of each month She ported her number to Verizon on February 24th due to the fact that the account was already billed, C Spire provides a secondary number
to use for the rest of the cycle and ports the existing number Due to the fact that Ms*** did this so near her cycle date, we will terminate this today When her final bill comes out on 3/22, we will clear the remaining balance as long as there is no usage

C Spire has always reserved the right to manage speeds to protect our network This is in the customer customer as stated below:
C Spire reserves the right to (i) limit throughput or amount of data transferred, deny Service and/or terminate Service, without notice, to anyone it
believes is using the Service in any manner prohibited above or whose usage adversely impacts its network or service levels, and (ii) protect its network from harm, which may impact legitimate data flowsCustomer may not send solicitations to C Spire subscribers without their consent.
Based on Mr***'s recent usage, he is currently running at full speeds and does not appear to be in a situation where we would alter these in the future

I am rejecting this response because: As I have stated, I had no other option than to renew my contract with C-Spire to try avoiding termination fees because my phone had completely stopped workingI later terminated anyway because the service was getting worseIf the issue is that I am unable to return the phones (because I disposed of them and C-Spire had never offered an alternative option to start withIf I had known that returning them was an option, I would have done so at the time), I feel that $is a fair amount for C-Spire to return to meThat would be approximately $for each phone that I am unable to returnRegards,

Regarding his question about coverage maps C Spire attempts to produce maps that are as accurate as possible This is based on radio frequency propagation and can differentiate based on the type of device or structure in which it is used The maps will never be 100% accurate but are as close as can be provided

C Spire does sent notifications via email for overages We sent email notifications to the email address that we had on file for the mobile number in question This address is ***@bxs.com If Ms***h would like to have this email address changed, we will certainly be

C Spire also offers the ability to monitor this usage online

The issue with the first bill being large has to do with the date that Mr*** made the changes Due to the fact that his billing cycle goes from the 23rd of each month to the 22nd of the next month, there were sizable prorated charges when he made changes on the 24th He has
already received a credit in the amount of $ We are posting an additional credit of $today.The monthly cost of the plan Mr*** is on is $plus taxes and fees If Mr*** would like to consider a plan with less data amounts, we can certainly reduce his costs We'll be glad to work with Mr*** on finding the right plan for his account

This amount was credited on January 8th, We hope this resolves this issue

Ms***'s bill has been mailed to her billing address monthly We have a record in our tracking system that it was received in her post office and out for delivery Ms*** asked for us to send her a copy by email In order to protect customer information in accordance with
Customer Proprietary Network Information requirements as mandated by the FCC, we do no email bills.In C Spire's terms and conditions, it is clear that customers are billed through the end of the upcoming billing cycle and that services will remain until that point C Spire followed this process in this case if Ms*** still does not have a bill, we can have one delivered to her local retail store for her to pick up Otherwise, the billing that we have issued appears to be correct at this point

The number in question was upgraded to an iPhone 4S on April 26, and Ms*** did purchase Apple Care. Apple Care is a product offered by Apple. C Spire serves as an agent and is allowed to sell Apple Care and handle warranty issues. Apple Care extends the warranty period to
years rather than the year period. It also allows instances of damage that can be claimed on Apple Care that are not covered under the warranty. In the case of damages, customers are charged a processing fee of up to $** in accordance with the Apple policy
As with any phone manufacturer's program, the replacement phones are warranty ready devices that are normally reconditioned devices that have been refurbished by the manufacturer. There is no contractual language that provides the customer with the opportunity to receive a new phone
Ms*** says that she has the names of people with Apple who told her the replacement would be new. I would be glad to take those names an investigate. C Spire actually handles this warranty process in the stores so that customers do not have to ship phones and wait for replacements. The phones we provide customers are actually provided to us by Apple for this purpose

When C Spire quoted the date of January 9th, this was in regards to whether the account would be suspended for a past due status Mr*** was subsequently suspended for credit limits which include real time charges and cannot totally be anticipated by a representative The amount
to turn the phone back on was recommended so that Mr*** would not be at risk of being suspended again with small amounts of real time charges This was to assist him in not having problems quickly Mr***'s problem with credit limits should not be an issue if he will keep his account paid in full before another bill cycle closes At this point, he is up to date but a payment is required prior to January 18th or this situation could happen again

When Ms*** purchased her device, it was shipped to her residence She purchased it for a substantial discount under C Spire's cost in lieu of agreeing to a year contract When she received the device, the instructions explain that if she activated it, she was agreeing to this
contract However, due to the confusion in this matter, we have credited her early termination fees We would ask that Ms*** return the device that we sold her under contract
