I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I am rebutting on the notion National Auto Loan Networ rate refund. On the bases, National Auto Loan with full full intention not to discuss, disclose, and withheld vital information from their client National Auto Loan Network operated their business practices in manner very deceitful. I did not agree nor did I concur with them to include the Gap insurance the amount of $800 and Anti-theft deterrent of $499 to refinance my auto loan. I am requesting the full amount on both insurance to be refund to me. No one penny more or one penny less.
Regards,
[redacted]

Mr. [redacted] called hear early Saturday morning around 10:00 am and as I was gathering my thoughts recalling the complaint and issues he told me I could call him at his office on Monday. Then his whole tone and adictude changed and he raised his voice and made comments to the effect that I was Bullying and or Threating him and his company. That's when I hung up on him. He called back and I informed him I pay the bill on this end and I had nothing more to say and hung up. He called again and I ignored it and the answering machine got his message leaving his phone #. I have nothing to say to him are do I want him to feel Bullied. He has nothing I want I will have to let this complaint go down as unsolved and thank the Revdex.com for documenting my experience.

You claim to "lower rates" yet in the process doing as you please with consumers information, taking thousands more than needed to pay off loan, Holding on to money for weeks, disregarding the truth in lending, predatory lending practices and many other concerns.  How? Would be a question of law. What else did you DO on my behalf?, is my question...I'll be direct with you. Not only the $800 GAP insurance refund offer, but what I must request is that you give me back the extra that you obtained. 08/2017 my balance on existing loan was $15,466.44. You took $17,668 from a credit union account that you set up 07/20/2017, in my name. I want the difference of what you took, acting on my behalf,  minus what was owed on existing loan.$17,668-$15466.44= willing to settle at $2,000Please respond accordingly. In lue of civil matters and all the extra costs & fees included with this incident I had to go through. I've spent many nights, days, resources, money, job and income has suffered as well. Regards [redacted]    $2,000 total, if you truely care about your clients we being. TY

Mr. [redacted] does not address the issue of my complaint. I clearly stated that I disclosed all personal information for both my husband and myself in order to apply for refinancing of our auto loan. The fact that the loan officer ([redacted]) disclosed that this was a credit application is not in contention. What was DELIBERATELY omitted from the initial intake conversation was:   1) a disclosure that a requirement for ANY loan obtained by them would require the purchase of GAP insurance, and   2) a disclosure that they would be shopping for refinancing with SEVERAL credit unions.   Had I known any of the above, I would have stopped the application process immediately. It was only because I did some research on the company after our conversation that I discovered they force GAP insurance on all customers.  Mr. [redacted] quotes the loan officers statement "She didn't give me a chance to go over GAP and how she owes more than her vehicle is worth." My vehicle is a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT with 35,000 miles. The Kelly Blue Book value on my car is $13,471. As I indicated to Ms. [redacted] in my email response to her, my husband and I were offered more than what we owe on the vehicle by a dealer a few weeks before. [redacted], in Glendora, California, offered us $11,500 as a trade-in. We owe $9000.00 on our loan. It is obvious that this company makes their money from the GAP insurance that they force all of their customers to purchase AFTER they have run your credit and presented to various lendors.   During the initial intake conversation with Ms. [redacted], she stated "I have all of your information and will present it to our CREDIT UNION." Note, she didn't state credit unions. I now know it was shopped to different lenders because not only did we receive an adverse action letter from the credit union I mention in my original complaint, but we received a 2nd rejection from a different credit union.  In the meantime, my credit scores are EXCELLENT (780-790). She claimed in her response that she left me voicemail messages and that I never returned any of her phone calls. I had no messages either on my home phone or cell phone. They first contacted me via email and if she had received a loan approval, she would have emailed me, requesting I call her back. She did not. She only emailed me back AFTER I emailed her requesting they not submit the loan. I believe that because I requested they not go forward with my loan request, they purposely provided false information to various credit unions so that we could be declined. I am requesting that they inform the credit unions to not report our erroneously submitted application to any of the credit reporting agencies. I am asserting the above required disclosures were not made and that their unscrupulous practice of not providing this information before individuals go forward with providing private financial information violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

We quoted the customer the
approval terms based on the interest rate and informed him that our loan would
include gap & theft protection which was important since he was upside down
in his vehicle.  We informed him that he would need to deal directly with
the credit union...

if he was interested in credit life because we were not
licensed to sell insurance.  He was trying to lower both his rate and
payment and was expecting for his payment to go down below what he was
currently paying on a 24 or 36 month term.  We explained to him that it was
not possible based on the amount financed.  He then accused our Loan Officer of false
advertising and that was the end of my conversation with him.  He later
called back and spoke with [redacted] and went through the same routine with
her.  She informed me that he had called her and so we called him back
again to try to make him understand and he accused us once again of false
advertising.  This basically all took place over a 2-3 day period as the
guys wife was out of town and we initially needed to wait on her to get her DL
to order docs.       Inquiries are not able to be removed from a credit bureau

Hello [redacted].. You are welcome to cancel your GAP Policy by sending us a letter to our Corporate address.
Thank you for the business... I am glad we were able to lower your interest rate from $7.27% to 4.74%

We advised , Mrs. [redacted] that she
had been approved , after going over the options and advising her that I was a
fully protected loan with gap and theft, she decided to move forward with
the process. I generated loan docs disclosing all the terms and fees for
her and sent them to her...

email. Mrs. [redacted] then stated that she did not want
the anti –theft warranty, after explaining the benefits of the anti-theft ,
Mrs. [redacted] refused to sign the documents , I advised her at that time, that
she had the final say and it was not mandatory for her to sign the documents if
she didn’t want to. I told her that I would hold the approval for her if she
changed her mind. Mrs. [redacted] did not respond and did not hear back from her
after that.

We work with thousands of consumers across the United States in which we are able to make quite happy in obtaining a new loan.. Thank you for the opportunity

According to the GAP contract MR. [redacted] signed he is entitled to a "pro-rated" refund" which we have done. In regards to the Theft Contract Mr. [redacted] singed he is not entitled to any refund as it is non-cancellable but we have given him a pro-rated refund as we appreciate his business.
Thank you

The point of my Revdex.com Complaint is not specific to me.   It is that you are doing this as a form of advertising.  It is VERY deceptive to consumers.   Making your envelope look like an official past due bill, is not a great way to make sure people open your ads.    Send it in a normal envelope, give people the choice.I do not want to call that number and opt out of financial adds.  I want to opt out of YOUR fake ads.   Please remove me from YOUR database.   And... stop using bogus means of advertising.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Not the point at all.  Actually on had 41 payments left (not 43). The point is there are fees that are not spelled out in your documents anywhere and the fact that your employees are able to attack people's character is appalling customer service.  Regards,[redacted]

We spoke to this cust
and let her know that she was not approved due to the fact she owed more than her car was worth

Hello.. We had a few challenges with this loan but were able to overcome them in the end....1) The value of the vehicle vs. the amount that was owed to the previous Lender. The pay-off was greater than the value.2) The term of the loan was only extend by 5 months not a year and it is a "non-pre...

payment" penalty loan where it can be paid off at any time.3) We improved the interest rate from 9.58% to 6.99%  Lastly, we have left several messages for the customer and have not heard back.. After a complete review of the documents they were all signed correctly. Based on that I am assuming Jammie reviewed what she was signing.. The best part about the transaction was Jammie skipped her January, February and March 2015 payments...If Jammie would like to discuss further please give us a call.. Thank you [redacted]

There was a full a full refund paid to her current Lender to lower the balance. [redacted]

Ms. [redacted],I hate to do this, but I wanted to add one more statement to my complaint.  The Auto-Theft Protection document mentions having a device installed into my vehicle to prevent theft.  I refinanced in June and my vehicle has been with me the entire time.  No anti-theft device has been installed in my vehicle.  I received nothing in the mail and no one has hadmy vehicle to install the device.  I would like this issue addressed.  The company has simply charged me $499 for nothing.  I want and am entitled to have that money refunded.
