I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
So the response I received appears to be canned and does not actually address my complaint. I advised that I would be happy to submit in writing my request to cancel the GAP insurance to receive a refund. What has not been addressed is the fact there appears to be other amounts not account for that took my loan well over the original pay off amount with my original lender. I need confirmation that I will receive a refund in full for the 1641.88 that was applied to the balance of the pay off amount with the new lender. The total amount of my loan ballooned to 9389.00. So far all calls to your company have gone unanswered and voice-mails not returned. I am attempting to resolve this issue with you directly but so far I am seeing no attempt to rectify the situation on your end. So, again, please review my loan and confirm the amounts that I have listed. I need a refund for all fees for services added to the loan that I did not request. If you state that you do not charge any up front fees then please call me at my phone number listed on my paperwork or email me at the email address on my paperwork so we can go over the items that have been charged. I will also be requesting this in my letter to cancel and receive refund for the GAP Insurance.

[On 9/1/17, I received this same information ( that a check was sent to my lender and to contact them) from NALN/[redacted]. I then called my lender that same day and no check could be located. I immediately called [redacted] back to get a check number, amount, and address as to where the check was sent. I got her voice mail. Since then I called her on 9/5, 9/6, 9/8am, 9/8pm 9/11, 9/12, left her messages and no call has ever been returned. On 9/13 I called her once more informing her that I would report this to the Revdex.com. To date no check has been received.

Hello.. The GAP Cancellation letter has been received and a check has been sent to your current Lender to lower your finance balance. We explained it all to her.  She is in the auto industry as well, she does fleet, she understood it all.  She waited for the loan to fund, once the loan funded she started complaining that we didn’t explain the theft to her and only GAP.  We explained  the theft as well. We pay thousands of GAP claims every month and in [redacted]'s case she has a wholesale value of approx. $14000 with a pay-off which is significantly higher. If she would like to cancel her GAP please send a letter to our office. We are not able to cancel the Theft Policy as it says on the policy she signed. Thank you for the business

Hello.. You are able to cancel the GAP Policy if you would like by sending us a letter to cancel. We pay out thousands of dollars in claims on a monthly basis and in your case you vehicle is work approx $16000 wholesale and your pay-off is $23229. Your choice though as your insurance Company will generally only pay yiu the wholesale value. We lowered your rate from 8.35% to 3.59% in addition to lowering your payment by $40.00 / mo. Lasly, you are not going to have your 1st payment until November so you have penty of time to consider your options. Thank you for the business [redacted]

I received payment on Saturday  10/21/17 in the amount of $467.17 Check number [redacted] from [redacted] Financial Federal Credit Union for the proceeds of the cancellation of my GAP insurance from NALB. Thank You for your help on this!.

Mrs. [redacted] never returned any of our phone calls to go over the approval we were able to get her. During our initial conversation, I disclosed that this was a credit application and she gave me her Mother's Maiden name as proof of agreeing to...

move forward. She decided a day after to not go forward but at that point it was too late to have her credit run by any of our partners as it had been submitted. I explained to her via email that we did get an approval. She didn’t give me a chance to go over GAP and how she owes more than her vehicle is worth.

Your basically offering me to get rid of the Gap Coverage??  im not stupid man you took more from me than gap insurance.  I want you to refund my origination fees.  I will be taking my loan to another lender soon.you guys [redacted]! guys, don't do business with this company!  Ever!

made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and confirm that the refund was FINALLY received by the Credit Union and my account was credited properly. I still think the company should reimburse me for the interest charged on the loan due to the balance not being reduced in a timely manner - to say nothing of the time and effort it has taken on my part to get this resolved. But, I am not going to waste any more of my time on this issue.
