She knew and understood what my needs were and provided excellent customer service as well as going beyond to ensure I got exactly what I ordered. [redacted] took me step by step and showed the measurements, diagram and provided great customer service.

I had Coles re-carpet my entire house and was very pleased with the whole job. I was allowed to take home all the samples I wanted, to see what I liked best to go with my furnishings, and once the carpets were installed, I was very happy with the result. The installers worked efficiently, with numerous tools to stretch and set the carpet in place, and they got the living room, dining room, two flights of stairs and hall, all done in one day, in spite of the stairs, which take the longest to finish. The rugs in the two bedrooms have yet to be done, but I am sure that they will be installed in the same excellent way as the rest of the rugs were.
I just want to take a quick moment to show my appreciation to Coles Fine Flooring in San Diego for their awesome Teachers Rug Giveaway. All the employees were very enthusiastic and helpful answering questions and bringing cookies while we waited on the long line. I LOVE the rug I got. Having little time and a spouse who is an invalid, I needed help in planning a final "new" floor to my den. David V not only was responsive, attentive and kind, but he had a great crew do the needed work in record time. It is beautiful and I am sincerely appreciative and very happy with the outcome.
We recently worked with [redacted] on a small tile project for our master bathroom floor (81 sf). We took home many samples to test out, and when we finally picked a product it was very easy to schedule a measurement and install date. [redacted] was very easy to work with, and we felt that the bid was reasonable and had clearly defined the terms of the agreement. Fortunately, the installation was smooth, and [redacted] from DG tile was professional, efficient, and friendly. The only minor hiccup is that just enough tile was ordered and there were none left. This would have been inconvenient if there had been damage or an error in the cut; but luckily that was not the case, and we love the floor.
Attended the Coles "Teacher Rug Giveaway" today. The event was super organized, the staff was so friendly and helpful, and they even had refreshments for the long line of teachers to enjoy while we waited. The rugs were beautiful and I can't wait for my students to enjoy the one that I'll be putting in my classroom - thank you Coles!
Coles Fine Flooring has installed vinyl flooring in three rooms and they did a great job.
Gina, our contact person at Coles was very helpful and knowledgable. She responded quickly to my emails whenever I had a question. The people who did the actual installation were punctual and polite. After removing the old carpet they needed to do some additional cleaning and patching before the vinyl could go in. They showed me what they had to do since this would involve some additional costs, and they explained to me why this needed to be done. They were very careful and cleaned everything up after they had finished the installation.
I realy recommend Coles Fine Flooring. The entire process from choosing the vinyl to having it installed was fast and everything went very smoothly.
We were so happy and impressed with [redacted], [redacted] the carpet installer, Liz, and Coles. Coles stood behind their work years later. They restretched our carpet and fixed the seams that were showing. The level of attention and expertise was amazing. [redacted] worked his magic on getting rid of two small burn spots out of the carpet where an ember had jumped out of the fireplace and created the spots. Amazing!!!!!! Thank you sooooo much [redacted], [redacted] and Liz.
Gina was terrific. She did a wonderful job helping select the right products that are perfect for the house and following up to make sure everything went quickly and smoothly. She is a real pro who knows her business and takes a real interest in her customers. I would recommend her to anyone. Gabe the installer was terrific. He went above and beyond the norm in prepping a bad floor and making everything was done exactly right. Also a very nice guy who was a pleasure to deal with.

I explain to you I have NOT caulked the floor to wall. Mr. [redacted] in very much mistaken. I am shocked that he would tell you this. Covering his own I suppose. Its so obvious that Coles, family owed, does not know how to communicate between its departments nor with its clients. If you read and understood my first letter you would already know that I sanded and painted already and that I did not use any caulking at all anywhere. I do not know any contractor who uses caulking on top of a base board. You use it to hide the defects. In several areas the floor is short and just shy of the base board showing the floor. I shake my head as to how this company does business in the manner.
Considering everything. I fine it ironic that Coles can't even see fit to deduct the cost of the remove/ replace baseboards. How much is good will? Or the fact that you seem to want to avoid, which as a lack of response time or taking any responsibility for the lack of communication. I have photos.

The response from Cole's Fine Flooring of 4/27/16, was incomplete, unclear and contained misinformation. We requested justification (change orders) for the $2785.94, Cole's offered to supply copies. They stated that the poor grout job was removed and corrected, that never happened. They initially offered to send out a handyman to correct the issues at our expense, with the doors and door frames, apparently this offer still stands. The door to the downstairs bedroom fell off the list, but it won't close because it hits the top of the door frame. The Manager states we had numerous conversations, my notes reflect we had two conversations and a phone message. I attempted to contact the Manager on 4/29/16, but was unsuccessful. The status of the carpet rebate was not addressed. The response also stated that the carpet seam was trimmed. It was "seams", and although better, still not great. The only add on we were aware of was $995.00 to level the floor of the downstairs bedroom.
We are truly surprised that a higher level of Cole's management has not attempted to contact us to resolve these issues by personally viewing the workmanship on this project.
