I recently had Shanklin Heating and Air come to my house and fix my April Air system. Jared showed up 5 mins early and was very informative with what the issue was. He noticed that it was wired wrong on the original install last year. He made a quick repair and went over the basic maintenance items for us to keep in mind. Jared said there would be no service or repair charge due to the fact it was a mistake on the original install. I appreciate honesty! I would highly recommend Shanklin for all of your HVAC needs!

Jared T came to my house for an air conditioner check ( his first visit was in October 2015 and I requested for him to come again). He was very professional , explained everything to me about the check up, what he was doing, and answered any questions that I had. He arrived at the set time for my appointment and let me know about how long it would take. So glad that I switched to Shanklin for my maintenance service!

I have had Shanklin for two years now they have taken care of both my heating and air conditioning units. I use to do it myself but this is much easier and they do a way better job than I could. Their prices are good and they always are willing to answer any questions you might have. I would tell anyone who ask that they should use these people for any problems they might have with their heating or air conditioning systems.

Brian came out to fix our furnace on a Saturday morning - He was on time and fixed it for us on the spot! He was extremely professional -- I felt very confident that he was knowledgeable in regards to what he was doing...We recently moved into our house and he also took time to teach us various aspects of the system. We signed up for their yearly maintenance program. Overall, we are very pleased with Shanklin's service.

I had a maintenance agreement service call today at 12:00 p.m. and was completely satisfied.

Duct cleaning, took out old furnace, replaced with high efficiency ecm furnace, added an air conditioning unit, ran a return duct to top floor ceiling, added an extra first floor vent, added whole house humidifier, added uv light for disinfecting air.
The company website well pretty well put together and had plenty of information. As soon as I emailed them, using the contact form on their website, one of the owners was contacting me and setting up an appointment for a quote. He was polite, professional, and knowledgeable about any questions I had. He was not pushy, and allowed me the time to get other quotes. (all-in-all I had 5 quotes done) He was very helpful anytime I emailed him with questions. He scheduled a service date, and everybody was also prompt, polite, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. When the work was done, the owner scheduled a time to come back out and go over everything with me. He promptly took care of the couple minor questions I had. Shanklin H&C will now be my go-to for all of my future HVAC needs, and I will recommend them to anyone who asks.

Dale T[redacted] was our service tech. He came on time, was friendly and professional. Diagnosed the problem and repaired it quickly. He saved us from an uncomfortable summer! Great job! Thank you Dale.

My mother-in-laws house in Canton built in 1951 needed a new updated furnace exhaust system. The old exhaust was a hardshell asbestos pipe used back in 1951. Derek inspected and determined what was required to do a thorough update and the total cost. Drew [redacted] and Dan "the furnace man" came thurs Feb 4th to do the job. They had to disconnect and move the hotwater tank so the old asbestos pipe could be removed. Dan spent a lot of time on the roof removing part of the pipe that had several layers of tar, sealant, liquid nail etc keeping it stuck to the roof. They did it though and completed the task. The house now has an all new up to code exhaust system and the hotwater tank is re-installed with new shut-off valves and fittings plus a new exhaust. They cleaned up the mess and left it looking professionally done. Thank-you Derek, Drew and Dan.

Technician arrived on time. Did everything as expected. Very efficient.

We had to have our furnace fixed. Dale T[redacted] came to our house and looked at it. He told us what was wrong with it he also said that it was 25 yrs old and would not last much longer but if we wanted to fix it he would be happy to do so. He showed us all that was wrong with it and my husband and I decided it was time to get a new furnace. Thanks so much for your help Dale!

The Shanklin Install Team did an excellent job of installing our new furnace today including explanation of the process as it progressed, protecting the finished part of our basement and leaving the furnace area cleaner than when they started.They were friendly and very professional in the process of doing the work.

I had an issue with my furnace. Jared T. From Shanklin Heating and A/C quickly diagnosed the problem, corrected it, and was on his way. He was very nice, polite, and professional. I would recommend Jared and Shanklin to everyone.

Shanklin put my furnace in when we built in 1992. It needed replaced in 2009 & the experance has been very professional. Everyone at Shanklin was courteous & nice to work with. This is the second time Brian has been to my home. Very nice person & knowes what he is doing.He called 15 min. before & was on time.
