Nemet Motors Reviews (64)

Review: In presales discussion with the NEMET auto salesman (Jamal S[redacted](Product Specialist) on 10/** the stated and agreed upon price of the vehicle (a 2011 Hyndai Tucson with 58,722 miles) was 14,500.

The executed contract incorrectly reflected a total vehicle price of 16,743.00.

To understand the discrepancy, I met with NEMET Sales Manager Chris W[redacted] on 10/**.

The sales manager showed me a document listing many hidden fees and charges involved their sales process but REFUSES to provide me a copy of the document despite me making the request MULTIPLE times.

The two major red-flag line items on the document shown to be was (1) A delivery Fee and (2) A Prep fee.

Chris W[redacted] suggested in our conversation that the delivery fee is in fact a destination fee - charges to ship cars from the assembly plant to the dealership." Given that this is a used vehicle this is an unreasonable charge.

I feel that I am being fleeced/scammed by NEMET this charge.

I asked Chris W[redacted] to provide me a detailed breakdown of the exorbitant "Prep fee". He was unwilling and unable to do so (even though I requested a blank piece of paper and drew lines on said paper for him to itemize the sub-changes of the "prep fee"). I feel that I am being fleeced/scammed by NEMET this charge.Desired Settlement: 1) For NEMET to provide me with a copy of the document they showed me that listed their many hidden fees and charges involved the sales process.

2) For NEMET to credit me for the amounts they shadily added to the agreed upon price of the vehicle (a 2011 Hyndai Tucson with 58,722 miles) was 14,500. Specifically credit me for the delivery fee & Prep fee.

Although [redacted] signed binding contracts and took delivery of a vehicle in the interest of customer satisfaction and as a gesture of goodwill we made a settlement with [redacted]. We are enclosing a copy of the general release and respectfully request this file be closed.

Review: On 10/**/13 I entered the [redacted] showroom inquiring about a [redacted] Optima. My current lease of a Nissan Rogue was shortly coming to an end so I was shopping around. I was working with the sales rep, Jerry, and I explained all of my information to him. I specifically asked him if I would be charged any fees for not getting a new lease with [redacted] Nissan, where I had gotten my last 2 vehicles. He assured me there would be no fees, since I was a returning customer and I am entitled to customer loyalties. I even asked, "Are you sure? This is [redacted] Kia, not [redacted] Nissan." He said "no there won't be any fees, we are the same company". At the end of Nov. I receive an "End of lease liability statement" in the amount of $430.06. When I called the sales manager he said to send him the bill and he would try to take care of it. I faxed him the bill on 12/**/13, along with a very detailed explanation of how his sales rep was either lying, or not knowledgeable about these policies. Raymond, the sales manager was not in that day, but Jerry was quick to call me back and straight out tell me he never said that. Meanwhile, there were other facts that he was wrong about too, but those issues are not dealing with this bill at hand. I called on 12/**, 12/**, 12/**and finally was able to speak to [redacted] on 12/**, when he told me he would write up a "check request" and that I should call him back in a few days. I gave him some time, and after the holidays I called again on 1/**/14. I spoke with [redacted] and he said it was the last day of the month for him and he put in a check request, and that I should call him back. Why do I have to keep calling him back?? I'm the customer, he should call me to follow up when he can let me know if the situation has been resolved. I feel like a nuisance every time I call. So today I call back again to find out what's going on. Mind you, they ask for your name before transferring the call, so I feel like once they say my name he doesn't want to take the call. They put me on hold, and maybe the person didn't realize that I could hear them, but I hear one man say "don't pick it up!" and the other man say "you don't want to take it?" and the first man replies "NO". I'm put back on hold for a few minutes and someone else answers saying that "[redacted] is in a meeting now. Do you want to call him back in an hour?' And I replied "No, I'd like him to call me back." It's been over an hour and still no call back...... This is not customer service and I was lied to about the disposition fees. Had I known I would have to pay these fees, I would've just went with [redacted] Nissan, but then, [redacted] wouldn't have gotten the sale. Yea, exactly why they lied.Desired Settlement: I would like this statement of $430.06 to be paid by Nemet Kia no later than 1/**/14, which is the due date. An apology would have been nice, but if you have to ask for it, it holds no sincerity anyway.

Review: I purchased a car from Nemet Motors 2/**/2015 and I put down a $1,000 deposit I changed my mind about the vehicle because I got a loan from MCU they decided to give me a loan from Nissan bank I was told I can bring the car back and when I went the next day I was told I can't give the car until I receive the title...I feel I was false into this contract and all I want is to return the vehicle even if I lose out on the $1,000 deposit I would like my loan from MCU,I feel that they add much more to the price when drawing up they contractDesired Settlement: I would like to give the car back and discontinue the agreement even if I lose out on my deposit

Business

Response:

[redacted] signed binding contracts and took delivery of vehicle. There is no cooling off period in the state of NY and once a car is delivered NYS Department of Motor Vehicle requires that this car be registered and titled to the consumer. Once you sign binding contracts and take delivery of a vehicle you cannot change your mind.

Review: In 5/**/2014 I purchase a car at 2012 Mazda 6 with Nemet Kia. I have less than perfect credit and so I was directed to the '[redacted] who was supposed to help me get approved for a loan so I could purchase a car with them. All throughout the sale process I was told that 'Nemet is the only place that offers a lifetime warrantee and it comes with every the car. Now I am not stupid, I know that is too good to be true but went along with it. Upon being approved I was called in to sign my final paperwork. This gentleman [redacted] kept trying to get me to sign the registration and all other paperwork before actually letting me see the final bill of sales. After DEMANDING to see the bill of sales first a car which was listed at 12,000.00 became 28,926.00 after all the financing fees, taxes etc. HOWEVER, in all the charges was 2,500 service contract. I asked this [redacted] and the sales people what was this for if ' Nemet is the only place which offers the lifetime warrantee on all cars'. The answer I got after all the stuttering was that that was the only way he could get me approved with [redacted]. Yesterday on 6/**/14 I contacted [redacted] reguarding this and was told that was absolutely not true and they do not have any influence over the sales process. They will approve loans with or without extensive warrantees. Furthermore getting the warrantee will not influence your interest rate or how quickly you get approved. Your Credit score does.Desired Settlement: At this point I am disappointed in that company after all the great things I have heard about them. They need to re-train their sales staff to be VERY careful of what they say. Since I was told the warrantee comes with my car AND THEN was lied to by 3 people simultaneously ( [redacted], I can't remember the name of the other young lady ) and about why the mysterious Service Contract was added to my bill I do not believe that I should have to pay for the service contract. This is the fault of their own and their management team. I believe this should be taken out of the sales peoples commission or however they decide to internally handle it. I am not returning the warrantee which they told me for 2 hours comes with the car. I should not have to cancel the warrantee but I want it taken off my bill.

Response:

A Lifetime powertrain warranty is included with the purchase, the bumper to bumper warranty purchased by [redacted] will be canceled and a refund issued to the lien holder in 6 to 8 Weeks. [redacted] will call [redacted] whether refund is ready.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Absolutely not.

1. DO not touch my sales receipt without me being there to resign paperwork, I did not bye a TShirt from you I bought a car, that is a major sale.

2. Let me explain my position again. I understand the difference between the power train warranty and the warranty which was put onto my sale " in order for me to get my loan". As the business which lied to me to get the warranty added unto my sale I expect you to either swallow all or most of the cost of the warranty without taking it off my receipt. There is a differtence between being a persuaisive sales man and a liar, which do you think [redacted] and his team was. You are also free to give me the name , telephone number and department of the [redacted]'s " person at [redacted]" who told him I need to get the warranty in order to get the loan because that has already been established to be a lie. Maybe that is who I need to lodge my complaint against. I have done management in comission based environments so let me suggest something since this is so difficult, reduce the price of the car by 2500.00 and keep the warranty on the receipt. That way you get the commission for the warranty and the customer is not necessarily happy but appeased. It is not my place to do your job for you so If you have another suggestion I am open to hearing.

I also do not need [redacted] to call me about anything. He is the person who looked me in my eyes and lied to begin with. To be reasonable, any other member of the Management Team or the company is free to call me. Make sure that they are prepared with facts and not lies because I have already contacted [redacted] and found out the truth.

If this is too much for you give me the name, number and department of [redacted]'s [redacted] guy who told him this warranty was necessary for my loan.

Thank you, have a great day.

Response:

There will be no new bill of sale. [redacted] already has it in writing that we will refund the warranty thorough our answers to your office.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Due to the fact that [redacted] still does not have the refund, I still want a new bill of sales. Similar to the one you quickly wrote up and added a warantee which wasn't previously discussed. Just like that one but without the warantee this time. It should not be difficult. So write a new bill of sales or we can keep going back and forth until [redacted] sees the refund from this drawn out process.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased a vehicle from Nemet Hyundai in April 2013. Upon examination of the agreement details of the third party extended warranty I was told the vehicle could not be sold without, I realized I had the right to cancel the warranty for a full refund if the warranty was not used. I requested and submitted a cancellation form to the contract holder for the [redacted] Contract ([redacted]) in May of 2013. The cancellation request was signed by a finance manager at Nemet Hyundai as well as myself. [redacted] informed me that they received the cancellation notice but the refund in the amount of $1750 (to the day of cancellation) would be paid to my lienholder by the dealership from which I purchased the vehicle and extended warranty. I have called on numerous occasions to check on the status of the refund. To this day, no phone call has been returned and I am always mysteriously disconnected when I call and get someone on the line. It is now November and this issue has not been resolved. It truly disgusts me that this dealership demonstrably disregards consumer requests to honor their word/contract and provide good customer service. I am entitled to my refund and have not even been extended the courtesy of trying to clarify and correct the matter.Desired Settlement: I would like the money for the [redacted] Warranty refunded (to lienholder) retroactive to the date the cancellation was signed. I would like this refund to be inclusive of interest charges accrued since said date. I would also like a formalized written apology for providing subpar customer service.

[Your Answer Here]I have tried contacting this [redacted] for weeks and each time I call she is never in the office or instructs her people to say she's out of the office! I am not interested in your offer, it's too little too late, you don't offer someone a bandaid after the cut has healed, you do it when it happens, my complaint, blog, tweets and Facebook posts about my horrible experience with Nemet Kia stands.

Response:

Our position on this matter remains unchanged. The car purchased by [redacted] does not come standard with these items. If [redacted] needed to have these items the time to voice that concern is before signing contracts and taking delivery of a vehicle. In the interest of customer satisfaction as we stated in our previous answer we are willing to sell them to [redacted] for Dealer Cost.

Review: I was promised reimbursement in contingent with of renewing my lease with the company. Three weeks later, everyone is behaving as if the conversation never took place. The salesperson confirmed the deal but the manager will not adhere to it. This was part of the negotiation deal with Nemet that they are not honoring.Desired Settlement: I would like them to honor their word and give me the reimbursement that we agreed on.

Business

Response:

We are enclosing a copy of the Lease Termination Disclaimer signed by [redacted] along with a copy of the check sent to NMAC for $1931.45. As you can see by the disclaimer we have enclosed we agreed to pay a total not to exceed $1931.45. [redacted] has acknowledged this agreement by signing the attached disclosure.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

When I signed this document everything was clear. They added this after. Nemet only paid four months worth. The payment that I made in September was the one that should be reimbursed to me. I spoke with Brian D[redacted] on Saturday and he states that Nissan will send the reimbursement check within a week. He states that they are waiting for the entire deal with the car lease to be finished. I do not know what that means since I've had the car going on one month now. He says that everything is not finalized yet. He has also instructed me to give him a call with tin a week if I have not received. Why is nemet saying one thing and their sales guy telling me different.

Response:

[redacted] Re: Complaint [redacted] Dear [redacted], Thank you for our phone conversation today. Please accept this letter as a request to remove this complaint from our permanent record due to the fact that all of the issues the customer has are related to her relationship with the bank NMAC. According to the paperwork we have sent you, we agreed to make a payment on her behalf to payoff her existing lease as that what she agreed that she owed at the time. After we agreed to that dollar amount she in turn sent additional money NMAC that was not necessary. We cannot, in any shape or form, get her money back from the bank as that is her account. We explained that the bank will take some time to refund the money to her in a normal course of business, but this is between her and her account. Again, please remove this complaint from our record as we are not the one that has the ability to refund her the overpayment she made on her own account. Thank You Scott P[redacted] Nemet Motors

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Mr P[redacted],Its is discouraging for me as a customer to see that I sent you an email with this complaint and you never even had the courtesy to respond but yet quick to respond to the Revdex.com. If this situation is indeed between the bank and myself ONLY, then why would you salesman promise that I would get the reimbursement. Never at the time before the sale was it stated that everything would depend upon Nissan's agreement. Mr D[redacted] promised me that they would give it to me. He never at any point during that time specified that it would be from Nissan. I can assure you that this has been a learning experience for me when it comes to your organization. You and your workers have no integrity and your words hold little value. You just care about the sale. You did not even give me the common courtesy to contact me just to say that you've heard my concerns and this is what we can do to move on from there. Congratulations, you did get it but it will be the last time I will do business with you, not that you care anyway. **

Review: On Tuesday, March **, 2014 at 8:45 AM our vehicle (Altima 2002) was taken to Nemet Motor located at [redacted] for service. Our initial complaint was that the car would stall and lose power while driving at times, and twice the car needed to be jumped with cables because it would not start.

Nemet called us after performing a diagnostic test, and found Code P2138 (APP Sensor, accelerator pedal position sensor has internal failure, and needs to be replaced). We authorized Nemet to replace the APP Sensor. After the technician replaced the sensor, and took said car for a road test to see if the vehicle was up to their satisfaction.. the car was said to "drivable".

After Technician took the vehicle for a road tested, we stated that the car had been jump started twice before so the technician checked further and found that a aftermarket positive terminal was not fitted properly and had a lot of corrosion. He recommended the part should be replaced and then authorization was given for the work to be done.

Upon technician replacing the terminal part, the car now would not start. Nemet wanted an additional $224.00 for a new diagnostic test to find out, why the car now did not start. After complaining to [redacted] the [redacted] at Nemet, that prior to replacing the terminal, the car started with no problem, since before they obviously had to preform a road test to the car after replacing the APP sensor in the beginning.

Damaged some how was done to the car when they replaced the terminal. The car was given back to us with a make shift connection just to start the car, since we could not afford the $800.00 cost to replaced the ignition switch, which supposedly now is the reason for the car not starting. None of this was told to us, I have pictures and recorded conversations, that I can present as evidence.

Upon picking up the vehicle and paying the $321.20 for the APP sensor, the technician [redacted] instructed us that the car was drivable, however, if car was shut off it would not start up again unless we used the make shift bypass that they did just to start the car and get it off their lot.

Upon driving the car to our home we noticed the car was leaking antifreeze. We looked inside the car hood and noticed hoses were loose, the radiator was loose, and now the car like they stated was not starting back up, even thought it was starting perfectly fine hours prior to their work. They disconnected the wire to the starter just for the bypass, said by [redacted] the Technician.

We called [redacted] the [redacted] at Nemet with our concerns, to be told bring back the car on Monday since the technician that worked on said car had gone home for the day.

The car is not drivable and a danger to me and the public. Due to the car leaking antifreeze and having to start the car, actually using their bypass wire, I could be harmed while attempting to start my car, which had started with no problem prior to Nemet service.Desired Settlement: For my car to be able to start without using the bypass like it did before we took it to Nemet for service and to stop the leakage of antifreeze. Basically for the damage that happened to my car after Nemets "help" to be fixed and put back to normal.

Business

Response:

This consumer was supposed to bring the car back and as of this writing has not. Please have the conusmer contact [redacted] Rawlins and schedule an appointment to bring the car to the dealership.

Review: I arrived at the car dealership with a Truecar certificate to lease a car, I was told that this should be no problem. I like the price so much I didn't even try to bring them down. The salesperson spoke to his manager and came back with a quote that I thought was the agreed upon purchase price.

So, I fill out some paperwork and pay for the registration and was told to wait a few for the finance person.

FIVE HOURS later, I see the finance person. By then I'm exhausted, hungry and even shaky. The finance person was in some sort of rush and placed the lease in from of me and spoke too fast for the information to sink in.

When I get home I realize the purchase price is $4000 over from what we agreed upon. When I went back to see the dealership we settled and singed an agreement on $2000 to be given to me, which I've yet to see.Desired Settlement: I would like the lease to show the agreed upon purchase price, ultimately, bringing down the monthly lease payments.

And for the Revdex.com to have this information in their records.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have not received a check from Nissan Nemet, if this check was received it would be hard to cash since the check is made to its own business. It's hard to believe this is even legal for them to do this.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Response:

The check was made out to [redacted] which is not a company owned by Nemet Nissan. Any money refunded must go to the lienholder as required under contract. This is similar to a credit card transaction. If you are due a refund on any credit card purchase the refund goes to the credit card company not the consumer. Upon receipt of the check Nissan Infiniti will credit [redacted] leasing account. The reason the check was sent to [redacted] was so that he could write his account number on the check to make sure that it is accredited to the appropriate account.Since [redacted] did not receive the check we will issue a stop payment and issue another check provided the check has not cleared. Mario C[redacted] will give [redacted] a call when the check is ready and he can either pick it up or we can mail it again.?

Review: well on 02/**/2014 my wife and I purchused a car from nemet moters located in queens ny the car was totalled on 04/**2014 when I was struck by a druken driver since then the car has been out of circlation for good my insurence has payed the bank and there is a balance remaining of 2337.54 . this could be reduced greatly if my dealer would do there part and close out the warrenty I have made serval request to them to have it closed but I have not gotten it done as of yet and the car is gone why am I still paying for a warrenty to a car that do not exsit.Desired Settlement: I would like for nemet moters to acknowledge my request and close out my warrenty account and refund that money to my bank on record to help bring down the remaiding cost of the remaining bal.

Business

Response:

Please remove this complaint from our profile. We have explained the process is not with nemet motors. The insurance company needs to contact the bank to explain that the car was totaled and the bank cancels the warranty. Once that happens the bank send the check directly to the insurance company. nemet motors is not involved in the process as the bank is the one that gets the money returned.

again, please remove this survey as it does not pertain to us and we explained that to the customer

Sincerely,

Review: We purchased our vehicle from Nemet Kia in December of 2011. Recently, we've had many problems with the car, so we were going through our paperwork. We realized that we signed for a bogus warranty which cost us $2000. In NY state we can cancel the warranty and get a pro-rated amount back based on mileage or days, whichever is less. We contacted the Warranty company and were told that we need to contact the dealership for cancellation. We have left multiple messages and have not heard back. Since the amount of our refund is based on time elapsed, I need to get the information to cancel this warranty as soon as possible. First contact date was back in early October (October [redacted] to be exact). We've tried approximately 3 times a week at all different times of day to reach someone to help us with this, and we never hear back from them. We've made about 20 phone calls in total.Desired Settlement: We need to get this paperwork processed and the warranty cancelled. I would like the refund backdated to October *, 2013 the date of our first attempt and sent to the bank that holds our car loan.

We are sorry that [redacted] is not satisfied with our offer. However our position remains unchanged. It is an ethical practice and proper troubleshooting to effect a repair by first making an adjustment rather than just costing a consumer more money by changing a part that may not be necessary. We are not asking for [redacted] to incur any additional expense that she would have been charged had we changed the handle during the first visit. We will not issue a refund. Review: I went to this business with a truecar price advertisement. After spending four-five hours selecting the car and price we had a deal. They offer $15000 for my trade in and they agree on the truecar website price of $22115 and 0% interest( $21115 if I am not approved to get 0%) (2013 Nissan rogue). Then we was ready to sign paper work the manager told me that they can only offer $14000 because the price they offering and some issue with my car. That was $1000 extra but I agree on that price and trade in because I spend 5 hours there with my family and my kids were exited to get a new car. We sign papers with sales man [redacted] and manager [redacted] trade in $14000 car price $22115 (0.0% interest) and (fee 549 which supposed to be in the price as advertised on website but I agree to pay extra). The sales man calls my insurance and changes it to new car. I thought I am done with the negotiation and sign the bank papers with finance manager. When I came home and I was looking at the paper work I find that they charged me another extra $1000. I went to the dealership next day and they were not ready to talk about it and they told me it’s a done deal and I should look at it yesterday. I was already paying $1000 extra because of trick with the trade in value at last minute on the top of that they trick me with another $1000.Desired Settlement: refund $1000 that they charged extra.

The Rogue SV comes standard with 17" Alloy Wheels, Roof Rails, Body colored remote control outside mirrors, chrome exhaust finisher, Nissan intelligent key, Bluetooth hands free phone system, Privacy Glass, Heated Seats, vanity mirrors, AM/FM/CD audio system with 4.3" color display review camera USB connectivity XM satellite radio and 6 speakers. Since the Rogue SV has more features it is priced higher.

Review: On June **, 2014 I purchased a 2014 Hyundai Sonata from Nemet Motors. After agreeing to a purchase price I had to wait an absurd amount of time (more than 3 hours) for the finance person to complete the paperwork. I was financing the vehicle through them. Finally, I was brought into the finance office to sign all the paperwork.

Originally I had left a $500 deposit. I then added an additional $3000 to reduce the amount financed. For a total of $3500. The receipt I signed said $3500, not realizing the original amount was supposed to be an authorize only. I was told I would receive a credit to my charge card for $500. Not yet received. Also, because I was in such a hurry to leave the dealership, I did not realize they "Snuck in" two additional extras -nitrogen gas and Silver extended warranty- which I did not originally agree to totaling $1294. In my haste I signed all the paperwork. This is FRAUD or Misrepresentation at its best.

If not for being is a hurry to leave because of their tacky business practice, I never would have agreed to these additional charges.Desired Settlement: Full refund of charges of $500 for nitrogen filled tires and $800 for Silver Lifetime warranty. Also, $500 credit not yet received.

Response:

[redacted] purchased and took delivery of a New 2014 Hyundai Sonata. We are attaching a copy of the contracts signed by [redacted] including a retail bill of sale stating all sales are final and a Nemet Motors policy statement. When you review the contracts signed by [redacted] it is quite evident that nothing was "snuck in" and there was no "fraud" nor any "misrepresentation" since [redacted] has signed these contracts and even initialed next to the charges for the Nitrogen and Silver Card. In addition [redacted] was credited with a $3500.00 down payment and acknowledges his receipts reflect $3500.00. Therefore he is not entitled to any refund.

It seems that [redacted] signed binding contracts and took delivery of a vehicle and now has buyer's remorse and he is seeking to renegotiate this finance transaction. However once as consumers signs binding contracts and takes delivery of a vehicle there can be no further negotiations. If [redacted] was unhappy with any aspect of this purchase the time to voice that concern is before he signed contracts and taking delivery.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

As I stated in my original message I never denied that I put my initials next to the Nitrogen and Silver Card, but, this was not what I VERBALLY agreed to with the salesman or manager. After waiting several hours for the paperwork to be made ready I was in a hurry to get out of the dealership. In my haste, I signed the referenced document. I love the car, but the dealership leaves a lot to be desired by doing this.

Review: On 1/**/14 I took my Nissan Maxima to the dealership for a nominal repair. When I entered the repair shop, as they normally do, they reviewed my vehicle for any damage. The representative commented that the vehicle was in "perfect condition". They completed the form and I waited for my vehicle to be serviced. After the car was repaired, I paid and then was told that I should pick up the car at the rear of the shop. I did not inspect the exterior of the vehicle as they dropped my key in the middle of the console and we struggled for 15 minutes to remove it. I then drove home which is 3 miles away from the dealership. First, my vehicle was returned with grease prints in the interior and exterior of my car. Secondly, I noticed that the front bumper was damaged--in dismay. I returned to the dealership promptly. Upon arriving, I drove into the repair shop and showed the "inspector" the damage. He replied, "Oh, that wasn't there", referring to his initial inspection earlier in the day. I then, spoke to the [redacted], who went to retrieve the "Inspection Report". To my UTTER SHOCK, there was an indication that the front bumper was damaged; however, I noticed it was in black ink where the original "inspection" was completed in blue ink. Wayne and I went back and forth about the damage and I questioned the validity of the inspection report as the consumer never sees it nor do we sign it. The replied, “the consumer does not need to, that the inspection report protects the company". My response was “we’ll how about the consumer". They don't see it, don't sign it, how are we protected? Once again we went back and forth and I asked to speak to his [redacted]. He said he wasn't available and wouldn't be until Monday--in a nasty attitude. I asked for a business card and the icing on the cake was that he didn't have the common respect to bring one out to me but sent someone else to give it to me. Never came back out or acknowledged me as a consumer.Desired Settlement: Since I have a "Clear Bra" on my car, the paint was not damaged. I need the "Clear Bra" replaced which is $350.00 as I called the shop which installed it originally.

Review: This business that I am reporting conducts frauds, lies, false advertising. I believe the reflections of the owner shows into the people that work there, with there unethical ways..these 3 people have been awful that I am reporting. 1st the sales person [redacted] the 2nd [redacted] and the 3rd [redacted]. ([redacted] & [redacted] are in finance). Let me begin in the middle of July 2013 I was purchasing myself for the first time a new car. As I was being help by [redacted] I showed him on the nissan nemet website it had a promotion of $200 off the first payment. I asked him about it he stated it will appear. My first payment came through nissan and they didn't see anything or even knew what I was talking about...then as I look there was a warranty that I never knew about that [redacted] and [redacted] failed to mention to me for $2,500. I called sid left messages to him and to [redacted] with no response from either or...basically I just wanted that warranty eliminated. I came into nissan early September 2013. I spoke with [redacted] since [redacted] never not once returned a call to me, to basically sign paper work to cancel the warranty. [redacted] and [redacted] said it takes up to 6 weeks. I've been patently waiting for over 2 months. I finally called nissan finance they would be the ones who would see the credit onto my principal balance. They did not see anything. As I did my research it was a third party warranty that [redacted] and [redacted] never mentioned to me..there is something going on in this dealer ship because [redacted] never sent the paper work. Nor does anyone return a call or would want to resolve this issue..I would hope the owner of this dealer ship to call me to apologize for the head ache I've endured.Desired Settlement: I just want that third party warranty terminated...

Response:

We are attaching a copy of the warranty cancelation check that was sent to Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation.

Review: I put a deposit of 5k with this dealership on July [redacted] for a new car they originally told me it would take 3 to 4 days for me to get my car however the time passed and they have kept telling me they can't find the car and I also went to them and they told me they still don't have it on July ** I went and they told me they don't have the car still so I told them I will go to another dealership to see if I can get the car and they told me if I can get it they will give me back my deposit so I went that same day and was able to get the car and so I left a voice mail on the [redacted] of nemet nissan phone telling him I'm canceling and want my deposit back. On July [redacted] I went into the nemet nissan dealership asked to speak with the [redacted] and a gentleman by the name of [redacted] told me he was the [redacted] and he said he was sorry they couldn't get the car for me and that they would be giving me back my deposit in 2 to 3 business days back to my credit card so I went to the [redacted] dealership to confirm I would be getting the car through them. A couple of hours later another person from nemet nissan calls me and says that they ordered the car from the nissan factory and that the gentleman named [redacted] doesn't have the authority to return my deposit and as far as he is concerned I didn't speak with anyone that he has a signed contract and a car in about 1 more week so he will not return my deposit of 5k and he said he has had that car since July [redacted] already purchased but this a lie because I went on the [redacted] and then on the [redacted] and they said they didn't have the car.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of my 5k deposit since I was told on two instances that I could get my deposit back, once by the salesperson and then by the [redacted].

Response:

[redacted] left a $5000.00 non-refundable deposit for us to special order a 2014 Nissan Rogue. We are enclosing a copy of the buyer's order signed by [redacted]. Please note the buyer's order states "Special Order $5000 non-refundable deposit if deal is canceled by the customer" and contains three color choices. We have a Graphite Blue with the specifications listed on the buyer's order that is currently in-transit to our dealership. This vehicle should be here any day. Since we have a vehicle that meets [redacted]'s specifications we will not refund the $5000.00 as per the terms accepted by [redacted] should just take delivery of this vehicle.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

They have not returned my deposit as I was originally told when I spoke with the [redacted] on 7/** and said that he would return my deposit and that they don't have my car. The store [redacted] calls me back a couple of hours later to tell me that the person I spoke to doesn't have the authority to cancel the contract and says he has purchased a car from the Nissan factory. If that special order was made for me then it would be to my exact specifications and not with options I didn't want so the car that they have is not the one I requested because it has other options that I didn't want or request so the dealer didn't special order that car for me because I never wanted to have the primer package which he said this car has. I told him that since I already spoke with [redacted] and he said that the contract was canceled and my funds returned to my credit card I went to another dealership and they got me the car I requested. They should honor want the original [redacted] stated to me, he represents the dealership and after almost one month of not having provided me with the car its absolutely ridiculous for this store [redacted] to keep my deposit of 5k since no service was provided, which was obtaining a car to the exact specifications that I requested in the a timely manner which they failed to do on both parts. I was very flexible on the colors, I gave them four options on the color. This was absolutely my worst experience with car dealership or in any place of business, they are unprofessional rude and have sense of how to treat customers, I was willing to do business but they were unable to provide me with what was promised and have now tried to go back on their promise to return my funds and are trying to say a car was special ordered for me however its not was I requested so how can this have been ordered for me.

Our position on this matter will not change. We have a written contract which we had enclosed in our earlier correspondence stating that if the customer canceled the order the deposit was non-refundable. The consumer was never released of this obligation.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Review: There was a $5000 warranty added to my car purchase contract without my knowledge that I then signed without looking it over. I tried working with the GM of the company who said that she could not help me and that I should have paid attention to what I sign. I then contacted that warranty company directly to cancel the policy, I was told by them that I have to work with the dealer who can cancel the policy and refund the money by applying it to the principal balance on my loan amount. When I told the GM about this she said that she will not work with me to cancel the policy.Desired Settlement: I want this item to be removed from my contract or I want NEMET MOTORS to cancel this warranty that I did not ask for and refund 100% of the amount to my loan

Response:

Please allow us to respond to the complaint filed by [redacted] purchased and took delivery of a new 2015 Kia Optima. At delivery a menu of optional items, along with benefits, monthly payments, interest rates and terms were presented to [redacted] made his final selections by signing and initialing the the enclosed contracts including a bill of sale stating all sales are final. Inasmuch as this was a negotiated transaction, all purchases are viewed as one transaction. [redacted] has signed the enclosed Aftermarket Product Promissory Note acknowledging this fact and agreeing that if he should choose to cancel he will no longer have the protection under the coverage and any proceeds from the cancellation will be assigned to the dealer for the purpose of the dealer being made whole. [redacted] writes in his complaint that products were added without his knowledge. Yet the supporting documentation we have attached clearly indicates [redacted] was well aware of all aspects since he signed and initialed these contracts which clearly depict all charges. [redacted] also states that he signed them “[redacted]” It is [redacted] responsibility to read what he signs. It is truly unfair of [redacted] to make accusations items were added without his knowledge while making a statement that he didn’t read what he was signing. Although [redacted] signed binding documents and took delivery of a vehicle in the interest of customer satisfaction and purely as a gesture of good we offered [redacted] a settlement of $1500.00. [redacted] has declined this offer. We are still willing to extend this offer to [redacted] providing he signs a general release.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Why would funds from a canceled policy be given to the dealer and not the person who paid for it, the $5000 was financed by me and I am paying for it not the dealer. So the dealer has not lost any money, I am the party that needs to be made whole not the dealer and the funds should be credited to my account not given to the dealer. I have spoken to a representative from the warranty company and they have said the same thing.

We have made a settlement offer. The President of our dealership [redacted] has called [redacted] on 3 occasions. Despite [redacted] saying he will call him back, he has not as of this writing. We fully acknowledge [redacted] request to cancel. When you review the rejections of our answers and the actions of [redacted] it is quite clear he is trying to use your good offices to release himself of his contractual obligations. Therefore we respectfully request that this file be closed.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

There is nothing stating that I am required to get this warranty in order to buy the car, I am NOT trying to get out of my contractual obligation. I am however trying to cancel a warranty service that I do not want, and have no use for, if the refund of the warranty will go to the dealer, then why is the dealer not willing to cancel the warranty, according to them they have nothing to lose because the money will go to make them whole. Please cancel my warranty. I received one call from [redacted] and I called him back and left a message with no contact since then.

Review: I went in to Nemet nissan to turn in My lease in early september 2015. I was contacted by a sales person by phone who was aware that my current lease from 2013 at the time was coming to an end. I was told that Nissan was having a promotion where I could turn in my lease early and "start with a clean slate" of a reduced price and no debt. I was put into a lease by a previous sales person who no longer works for nemet because I owed money on the car that I had brought it. the sales person tacked my negativity equity onto a new lease so I was paying $450 for a 2013 nissan sentra. the salesperson who called me whose name was Jovan was aware of the price I was paying and offered me to take me out of my lease and put me in a new one where my payments would be "significantly lower" and the debt on the 2013 sentra would be wiped clean. I went in to the dealership and spoke to a salesperson name Steven w[redacted] b** and inquire about the "promotion". Mr. B** confirmed that the promotion was factual and started he process of getting the new lease. I explained to Mr. B** that I had a negative experiece with Nemet prior and would need full disclouser. I made sure to ask about the fee's I would need to pay, the down payment, negative equity on the current car being erased, not being charged for ware and tare and early termination of my current lease. Mr b** explained that nemet would be taking care of any fees in exchange for me getting a new lease and that I would not have to pay early termintation because I was "switching cars" and I had the car for over 18 months. I sat in nemet for over 4 hrs before I saw the car I asked for when it arrived it was not the car I was originally told it would be which was a white nissan sentra sr. so because of the mix up I was offered a white nissan sentra sl fully loaded for the same price as the sr and the payments would be about $300. I was told that the price couldnt be lower for me because my credit was not good. I explained to Mr. B** after he tried to get me to out my insurance on the car and switch my registration that I did not want to commit to that car until I spoke to the finance manager and he confirmed that the car would be $300 a month and no more than that. I waited from about 12pm to past 10pm when I finally saw the finance manager Marlon. as marlon typed away o his computer I noticed a paper on his desk with a list of fees that were due at the signing for me to take the car home it was over 2,000. I brought this up to steven who confirmed this with Manager Mario. I informed them that I did not have the money to put down and I was only told I would be paying for registration and the 1st month for the car. that is when steven w[redacted] told me he was not aware of these fees and confessed that he was only there for about 6 or 7 days. I told Marlon the finance manager that I did not want the car and that I would be leaving with the car I came with. I explained to him that I was told that the deal would not be final until I agree to the deal. Marlon then told me that I had no choice and the car I came in with was "grounded" and no longe in my name so I had to take it otherwise they would report it to the credit bureau as a repo. I then ran over to steven who acted clueless and did not seem to know what was going on. I was forced to take a car a did not want and still do not want. I was taken advantage of and lied to and forced to take a car that I do not want and cant afford. I told Mr. W[redacted] b** that my only reason for trading in cars was because I ony used my car 1 or 2 days a week now and did not feel it made sense to pay $450 a month an longer. Mario the manager had me come in 2 days later saying that he would take the car back but when I got there all he did was show me numbers on a paper and told me that he "gave me the deal he ould give him family" and that I should stop crying and be a big girl. I then contacted the manager scott p[redacted] who offered me $400 to slove the problem which I rejected. I Tried calling him back multiple and have not heard back at all. I received a bill in the mail from the nissan corportation for almost $4,000 for early termination and wear an tare. which again I was told would be 100 percent taken care of by nemet. I really need some help from the Revdex.com because I believed that I was taken advantage of and lied too to take a car tha I do not want. I believe that had I been a man going in to make this deal and not a young woman I would have not been forced into taking a car I dont want. I was manipulated by the employees of this dealersip and I need justice.Desired Settlement: I want nissan to take their car back and undo this deal. I need a resolution and I need justice

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint The statement made by the business is false I have not received several calls from nemet. I have received one phonecall and voice message from the owner which I responded by faxing the requesting information on 10/**/15. I have been hung up on by nemet staff and left on hold waiting for the owner. This does not account for the fact that I was forced to leave with a car I did not agree to buy.

[redacted] was never told that the car was put in her name before signing contracts. Rather she was told once she signed contracts and took delivery of a vehicle she has taken ownership and is bound to those contracts. It impossible to have ownership of a car without signing any documents. We understand that [redacted] is not happy with her commitment however she made the commitment and took delivery of this vehicle. If she was unhappy she could have not signed the contracts which gave her ownership and not taken delivery of the car. Our position on this matter will remain unchanged.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because Mr. P[redacted] how would you know what I was told? were you present at the time that this deal took place??? no you were not. this is problem with you and your dealership, instead of taking owner of the problem that your employees have created you rather go back and forth about something that you have no first hand knowledge of due to the second hand information you received from your dishonest employees. your employees took advantage of the fact that I was a young WOMAN trying to acquire a car on my own. They lied to me, manipulated and then FORCED me to take a car that I did not want. Now I ask you, if someone told you that if you didn't take a care that they unknowingly transferred over you name and not only threatened to report the car as a repossession to the credit bureau to ruin your credit but to also send you a bill for the remaining balance on the previous that they already "grounded" and that you would no longer be driving anyway? what would you do scott? and this was before I signed any papers. the only person who admitted that there was wrong doing on your dealerships part was your sales person steven. I sat in your dealership waiting for hours and then your men took advantage of me by deceiving me and giving me an unfair deal. When I finally sat with your finance manager Marlon and he told me the true price for the car which was higher than what I was told by your other manager kenny and salesman steven , I said I did not want the car. He told me that over $2700 was due before I could take the car, at that point the only thing I consented too was a credit check. your finance manager Marlon told me that the reason the payments were so high was because of my credit which I later found out was a lie and was due to the fact that your manager Mario had the negative equity from the previous car put in to the new car. when I found out the final fee that was required for me to take the car after I had been told it would be less and also the monthly payment for having to put the $2700 in to the car since I did not have the money to pay, I told your finance manager Marlon to give me the car I came in with so I can leave which he refused to do , at this point I had not signed any paper to take delivery of the car. you're saying that I should not have taken delivery of a car I did not want. What part of "i did not agree to the car" is hard for you to understand? your employees need a lesson in customer service and integrity. I bring my business to your dealership after you sent a promotion for me to bring my car in for a new lease with "no money down" "no wear and tear and early termination fees" and also to erase the negativity equity on my current lease which I confirm with one of your employees by phone the day that I came in .Your manager Mario did not inform me about the negative equity until two days later when he had me come in with the notion that he would be replacing the car to give me a better deal. you don't want to accept the fact that your men did wrong and im very disgusted by this. I was told by Marlon your finance manager before I signed those papers with him that the deal had been done hours prior to me sitting with him and he was just final step. this was after I was initially told by Steven the sales person that I could still change my mind if I didn't like what I heard when I sat with Marlon, which I did. Your manager Mario even told Marlon your finance person to give me back the car so I could leave to which Marlon replies " that car is grounded" "the deal was done hours ago" " its not in your name anymore" and refused to give me the car I came in with even started packing up his things to leave , which again was before I even signed those papers with him. How dare you try to insinuate that this issue is simply me changing me mind. we are not talking about a sweater I bought from your dealership we are talking about a car that I did not take from your dealership until I was forced to do. if all this information was disclosed to me beforehand I would have walked out the dealership. your men saw a young naive woman and decided to take advantage of me which they did. I don't care whether Nemet accepts responsibility or not. I will find a resolve to this nightmare your dealership has created for me. I bet the manager Mario did not disclose to you that he told me to come back in 7 months from the day that, I took the car and he completely wipe out the negative equity he put into the new car with out my knowledge and which was the reason I came in the first place and put me into a brand new car. Your Salesperson Steven was just as shocked as I was when I found out that the negative equity had been put into the new car to which your manager Mario said " I assume you knew". why would I know that if it wasn't disclosed to me? had I been given the correct information from the start I would've walked out the moment I found out and given you people you car back in April of 2016 when my lease was going to end. your employees manipulated me, it does not matter what you believe you were not there and that is a fact! I personally contact a few people from their reviews who had similar experiences on separate websites and their stories are very similar to mine. its dealerships like yours that have bad reputations with public( your reviews speak for themselves) that give the honest dealerships a bad name. Shame on you Mr. P[redacted] or however you spell your name Scott. Shame on your employees and shame on your dealership. you're acting like this is the first time this happened , this is very similar to my first experience with your dealership in 2013 when I got the first lease and you are aware of that. I have witnesses that were in the room when I was on the phone call with you when you offered me $400 to "settle the issue" which I rejected. why go to that length is you don't believe your dealership was in the wrong. My new friends and I have already spoken to a media outlet who is very interested in our story. you don't have to change your position cause I will not stop until justice is served. you can pull out your contracts and your paperwork because that's all you have to go on and what your employees have told you. that is not the truth and this is not the end of my Campaign. Shame on you Nemet.
