Review: We purchased a 2015 Kia Sorento from Nemet Motors On October **, 2014. We refinanced our car loan with [redacted] and we have a letter stating that are loan is paid in full and that we are entitled to a refund dated December *, 2014. In December, we went to Nemet claiming our refund for the total loss protection which costed $1650 and [redacted] the financing agent told us to our face that the policy was non-refundable and "that here we do everything legit". I called the total loss company ([redacted]) gave them my contract number and I was immediately told that my policy is refundable. I sent all the paperwork to [redacted] and kept in contact with them. By the ending of February, all the paperwork was done and sent to Nemet. I called Nemet several times regarding this matter, left messages for [redacted] and for a manager and never got a return call. [redacted] also called a few times and was told that the refund would be sent to [redacted] but nothing has happened yet. Today April **, 2015 my wife and I went to Nemet and [redacted] the manager had the spine to lie to my face and said that my policy is non-refundable. I let extremely angry because at Nemet they are unprofessional and un ethnical. I called [redacted] again and they called Nemet once again to see what is the hold-up with this. This is so ridicious. Since, Nemet is just giving me the run around that is why I am filing a complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund immediately.

Review: I purchased a kia 2014 sorrento from Nemet Kia on August **, 2013. [redacted]) made a written and audio agreement with my wife, daughter and I. [redacted] told us once we made our third car payment to M and T Bank on December **, 2013. I would get reduction on my car payments. I called [redacted] on December **, 2013 concerning the promised. He told me to wait until after the holidays and to send him a copy of my title, proof of purchase and I have sent him the written agreement. I have personally emailed [redacted] several times with all of the documents. I have Fed-Ex [redacted] twice at his office. For several weeks [redacted] has been missing in action. Last night [redacted] called me and he told me for the third time (4:30 pm) in the last two months he was going to send over my documents. I never received the documents. This is not good business at all.Desired Settlement: Accountability and responsibilities for his actions. Refund of the two additional months I have paid for the vehicle

Business

Response:

Please allow us to respond to the complaint filed by [redacted].

There was never any verbal or written promise that [redacted] would get a reduction in his car payment. The hand written note provided by [redacted] simply states for [redacted] to contact [redacted] after making 3 payments. What was told to [redacted] is that it is sometimes possible to lower an auto loan after making 3 monthly payments and to contact [redacted] after his Dec payment to see if this could be accomplished. However this is not possible in [redacted]'s case.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because\

The response is not accurate. I have recorded [redacted] twice with my blackberry cell phone on 08/**/13 and 08/**/13. The entire conversation is on my cell phone. [redacted] gave me a printed sheet of the price reduction after third payment on 08/** and 08/**. I called and I spoke [redacted] and he reassure me on December ** on the phone. He told me to wait until after the holidays to mail the copy of the title and the other documents. [redacted] was away for three weeks and he told me he would get back to me before 2/* and he did not. [redacted] told me he would get back in touch with me today and he did not.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Review: On sunday 01/** I went to a dealership and negotiated a used car from $21000 to $20,000. We shook hands and I was totally sure I was paying $20k. They told me to pay $2,000 in advance for taxes and plates purposes, which I paid with my credit card (later, learned that the amount for that would be $2,400, which I was ok if I had to pay the extra $400, but they never explained the $2400, I mean, how much for taxes, how much for registration, and how much for plates ). After signing a bunch of papers, they told my credit was approved through Capital One Auto Finance for an APR of 4.75% and the monthly payments would be $363. I was still OK to that point and I even agreed to pay $18/month additional for lifetime warranty. They pushed me to try to get the car out that same night, but I was alone, I was already driving another car, and I would have to come the next day to bring back the car for some additional touch ups, so I decided not to take it out of their showroom.

On Monday in the office I calculated my payments for the 72 month term they told me, 4.75% apr, and a principal of $20,000, and my result was $319.7 per month. I called them to ask why the difference and they said that they were applying for a loan of $23,000 because of the sum of $20,000 for the car, $2,400 for taxes and plates, and $844 for delivery on destination fee. I said I would not pay that fee since it is only for new cars, and the taxes and plates were already paid on Sunday with my credit card. They said, basically, that there was nothing they could do, and that I had already agreed to the price of $20844 plus taxes and plates, now was $368.71 per month. I told them on Monday night that I would give them all day Tuesday to fix it and give me the $20,000 price that we negotiated, no fees and fix the $2000 that I had paid.

I called them on tuesday evening, after waiting for their call all day, to say I don’t want the car anymore because they couldn’t fix the deal and because I don’t want to have to deal with them for maintenance or anything related to warranties later on. Their answer was that I need to pick up the car because I signed a contract and the car is mine. On wednesday I sent them a letter canceling my contract in writing.

Yesterday, Thursday 01/**, the [redacted] called me to say that I should have called him directly to negotiate, that he was not aware of any situations with me, and that he assumed I had picked up the car. He told me I need to pick up the car, or come to their store to talk to them, they keep trying to make me come to their place. He also asked me "what is the monthly payment supposed to be" and I said 319.7, he said, well, that is the price, but you have to add the $25 of lifetime warranty. I said, you said it was 18, to what he responded, yes, plus tax. And, is that supposed to total 368.7, to what he had no answer and changed the topic.

I need to clarify, that when I called on Monday night and then again on Tuesday, the receptionist told me I had to talk to sales, not directly to the finance [redacted]. Then, also on Monday, the sales guy told me he was going to talk to the Finance [redacted], but then he told me he waited forever and couldnt talk to him.

Today, 01/**, they called me to say to go pick up the car or they would put it on the street for it to be towed at my expense; they also called me later to say to go and talk and fix the difference. I did not talk to them. I only listened to the voicemail. My husband called them and told them to try to cancel the contract or we report them or see them in court, the guy did not answer.Desired Settlement: I don't want that car anymore, I want to cancel the contract. If they misrepresented facts at the time of closing the deal, what else can they do during the term of the warranty? additionally, they advertised a car (Kia Sedona) marked for $17000, and made an appointment for us to go and see that car. Once there, they didn't have it and showed me the more expensive one, the one I ended up negotiating. Those cars are still advertised in their website.

Review: On Sunday August **, 2014 my wife and my son and I, had the most humiliating experience in our lives. For the first time in our lives we have been physically kicked out of car dealer ship when we discovered that we are victims of the illegal act of bait and switch!

We were responding to an invitation from Nemet Hyundai to purchase a Hyundai Sonata 2014 for our son, a Sonata GLS at the price of $16,208 posted on their web site, to be taken through the least we can describe it to be is the worst display of the illegal act of bait and switch!!

A [redacted] at Nemet Hyundai [redacted] location the least we could say about this [redacted] that he has no business managing sales; he is just a crock under the title of [redacted]. This [redacted] lacks the basics in sales etiquette or knowledge of what legally can be practiced and cannot be practiced and that is to advertise something you are not willing to honor and used to lure customers to come in and then to be switched to a different price using the old and illegal tactic also known as bait and switch. Instead of apologizing for his inability to fulfill what Nemet company have advertised he instead chose to kick us out of dealership! An act that, can and should bring legal actions against Nemet Hyundai.

We have screenshot three vehicles on their web site with price ranging from $16,208.00 to $16,500.00 none of these vehicles they claimed are available but if we put a deposit of a $1000.00 the [redacted] needed in order for him to purchase the vehicle for us from another dealer in another ward using our funds to start a trade the dealership should of have the vehicle before advertisement to trade with.

We are bringing this matter to the public attention and avoid doing business with Nemet Hyundai or any of their dealerships and request Nemt Hyundai to honor their advertisement and a formal apology for the humiliation suffered by family at Nemet Hyundai.

The links that contain the bait and switch advertisement [redacted]Desired Settlement: We request Nemt Hyundai to honor their advertisement and a formal apology for the humiliation suffered by family at Nemet Hyundai.

Business

Response:

This dealerships contracts with [redacted] and outside vendor to update our website inventory. Unfortunately, [redacted] had a problem with the inventory polling and failed to remove and add vehicles to our website as they were sold or arrived. We are enclosing a letter from [redacted] acknowledging this problem.. The vehicle [redacted] wanted to purchase had already been sold but due to this issue [redacted] failed to remove it from our website. This was not a bait and switch it was a website polling error by an outside vendor.

Since this vehicle had already been sold we offered [redacted] a 2015 Sonata at the same savings or we would locate a 2014 Sonata and sell it to him for the internet price. In order to locate the vehicle we need to write up an order and obtain a $1000.00 deposit since we do not go out an purchase vehicles without a customer commitment. [redacted] did not want to leave the deposit nor purchase the 2015. If this had been a bait and switch we would not have offered to locate the car and sell it to him at the internet price.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Nemet group of dealership is utilizes their leverage as a client of the above mentioned company and can easily obtain whatever statement they wish from that company, the claim that they are at no fault and their is no bait and switch is false and a business by law is obligated to their advertised claime they can go back for damages from the website handlers as they claim. The replacement offered in their respond is $2,500.00 more than the originally advertised. Nemet Hyundai is responsible for all their business conducts and the hastly provided remedy and explanation of their elegal business practice must encourage the Revdex.com and State and Federal agency's to look closely at this dealership practice add to all the above the scare tactics and intimidation by Nemet Hyundai employees indicate a deliberate intention of ill business practice. To resolve this issue Nemet Hyundai need to honor their advertised claim on the three vehicles advertised (not just one vehicle) as they claim in their respond and a formal apology from their staff.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

[redacted] is so far from the truth. This dealership informed [redacted] in person and in writing that although this was an error caused by our Website provider we would honor the price. [redacted] has been nothing but argumentative both during his visit and through his written responses. A customer commitment in the form of a deposit is required on all sales transaction whether they are advertised or not. When we do not have a car in our inventory and need to purchase it for a customer a non-refundable deposit is collected contingent upon our ability to supply the vehicle as ordered by the customer. If we cannot find the car desired by the customer the money is refunded. If we produce the car the $1000.00 is credited towards the purchase of the vehicle. If the customer wants to purchases with no down payment and we supply the vehicle the money is refunded. We are in the business of selling cars not keeping deposit.

It is a car industry standard to require a commitment in the form of a customer deposit on all transactions. Once again we stand ready willing and able to honor our advertising. However [redacted] has still not committed to making a purchase and the availability of these vehicles is decreasing on a daily basis. [redacted] has provided another objection proving our position that [redacted] has no intention of working towards a solution and making a purchase. If [redacted] wishes to actually purchase a vehicle it requires a customer commitment which [redacted] is unwilling to provide. Therefore we respectfully request that this file be closed as administratively judged resolved.

[Your Answer Here]

The clear and open hostility by Nemet Dealership is the best example to show the public what kind of an enterprise they are running. This business relay heavily on intimidation and obviously steering away from the truth as a way of doing business, something that is not going to take this dealership any where but closer and closer to be convicted soon in a court of law.

At what point we found our self ordering a vehicle from Nemet Hyundai? If every advertisment going to lead to a special order that means all car dealership need to invest in is advertising?

And yes this dealership is in the business of collecting and securing thousands of unsuspecting consumers whome their mistake is believing that they are responding to a legitimate offer instead they ended up paying out of their own pocket to fulfill something that should be readily available to them! We are proud to argue what is wright and point out what is criminally wrong with Nemet Hyundai. We urge your agency to utilize all public exposer venues to expose this dealership illegal practices and open a campaign and invite the public to bring forward their present and previous experiences with any of Nemet dealership. This is an excellent opportunity for Revdex.com to utilize this case to its maximum and join forces with local and federal governments to expose all Nemet dealerships practices.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

The Three Ring Circus Called a Dealership.

I want to make my complaint as brief as possible for any consumer looking to go to this Dealership. I went to Nemet Nissan to look at a 2014 Nissan Sentra Sr. This car was advertised at $15,000 on their website as well as other websites used to find cars. Despite the many complaints on the Revdex.com website and Consumer Affairs site and Google reviews. I went against the grain and decided to see this car because I thought it was a good deal.

• After test drive pulled into service center Sales Rep was cursed at by an employee of this dealership.

• They told me the car was worth 23,000 but was going to give it to me for $20,000

• Car was valued at $15,000 on website and Fair Market Value was not even close to $20,000

• Sales Rep settled at $14,800 and waived Prep fee and Destination Fee

• I put a Deposit down of $100.00 I was told I had to in order to proceed.

• Made me call [redacted] to get Insurance on a Car we haven’t even signed papers for?

• On phone with [redacted] they offer Bumper to Bumper Insurance because car had never been owned, just went from Dealership to Dealership. Sales Rep overhearing conversations gets up talks to someone else comes back and said car had one owner.

• Car fax listed no owners and since VIN # was given to [redacted] they established that as well, and offered Bumper to Bumper.

• I went to leave Sales Rep got up went to talk to someone, after words he collects his things to go home?

• We get another Rep who then comes in and tells us about previous Reps issues and then tries to appeal to our [redacted] culture by acting in an unprofessional manner. As if we were all raised the same.

• We than wait 4hrs to meet with Finance.

• They only offer the option Finance through Nissan with 4.99 interest rate.

• They Print Contract I notice a $1,000 added labeled as additional add on.

• It’s Gap Insurance, I reply I don’t need it.

• Finance Person gets up to talk to someone comes back oh my mistake this car was valued wrong on website, that’s why that fee is there. Car is supposed to be $15,800 I immediately leave this circus of a dealership

• They put the car at 20,000 on site after they stated it was $15,800

• I wasted my entire day off !

This by far has been the worst experience ever when buying a car and I wished I followed my gut and the many bad reviews, and the fact that it’s not accredited by Revdex.com. To any consumer don’t waste your time or money. I feel bad for the ignorant they may play upon and the money I am sure they robbed the Consumers over the years.

Review: I PURCHASE A BRAND NEW VEHICLE AND IT WAS DELIVERED WITH SCRATCHES AND DENTS. DELEARSHIP TOOK THE VEHICLE IN TO BE FIXED. IT HAS PASSED OVER 20 DAYS AND I HAVENT GOT THE VEHICLE BACK. I CALL CONSTANTLY AND NOW THEY REFUSE TO GIVE ME AN ANSWER. Review: I was recently interested in purchasing a Kia Sportage. I accessed the website of my local Kia dealership, Nemet Motors, to see if there were any 2015 vehicles available and on sale since the 2016 vehicles had already come out. The dealer's website listed a number of available 2015 vehicles. A short while later I received a phone call from the dealer to follow-up on my online inquiry. The dealer's rep asked me why I was interested in 2015 rather than a 2016. I stated that the prices of the 2015s seemed to have been dramatically reduced. The rep asked me if I would be interested in a 2016 if they would sell it to me for the price of a 2015. I eagerly answered yes.

A little later that day I received an email from the General Manager of the dealership showing me an available 2015 Sportage that was significantly reduced.

The next day I went to the dealership to follow-up on all of this. The sales rep I dealt with told me that there were no 2015 vehicles available despite what the rep told me over the phone the previous day. He also told me that they could not sell me a 2016 for the price of a 2015. I then showed him a printed copy of the email I received from the General Manager stated that a particular 2015 Sportage was indeed available and showing the price. The rep left me for a few moments to speak to his manager. He returned shortly and told me he could not understand why the General Manager sent me that email and reiterated that there were no 2015 vehicles available.

I immediately realized that I was being baited in under false claims and got up and left without purchasing any vehicle.Desired Settlement: That the dealership stops making false claims and that other potential customers are protected from this practice.

Business

Response:

We were unable to reach a mutually agreeable price for any Sportage that was currently in our inventory and [redacted] elected to make a purchase elsewhere. [redacted] was told over the phone that we did not have any new 2015 Sportages in stock. So there was never an attempt to mislead.

Review: I purchased a car from nemet dealership. I traded my old car which was a 2012 fully loaded Nissan maxima for a 2014 Fully loaded maxima. I did my insurance, paid my money and left with the car that I picked. Which was the same car with the window stickers that they sent my insurance, however the dealership called me 3 days later and said the vin number on the car does not match the vin number on the registration nor the one they sent my insurance company. They said they were bringing me the right car. However, when the car came it wasn't the same. It was a basic car and not fully loaded. I refused to exchange the car because it was not what I was paying for. They called me an hour later saying that they were going to file a police report with the [redacted] precinct stating that I am in possession of a stolen car. I just left the same precinct and they advised me to contact you because they have gotten numerous complaints about that dealership and that they are notorious for that. They don't want to give my old car and money back and they also don't want to exchange or let me keep the car. Please help me. I need that car to go back and forth to work. Please help. Thank youDesired Settlement: Give me back my old car and money or give me what I am paying for.

Response:

[redacted] leased a 2014 Nissan Maxima S VIN [redacted] as per the attached contracts. No other Maxima was negotiated or discussed. However [redacted] took a 2014 Nissan Maxima SV VIN [redacted] which has much more equipment and therefore cost much more. [redacted] does not have insurance on the car he is driving and needs to return to the dealership with the car. We have tried to work this out amicable but [redacted] refuses to bring the car to the dealership. [redacted] has 3 choices:1. Keep the car he is driving by signing a new contract at a higher payment reflecting the higher cost of the vehicle.2. Return the car he is driving and take the car he actually leased.3. Return the car and take his 2012 Nissan Maxima back along with $500 he put down on this lease providing there is no damage to car.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

How could I have taken another car? It is dealership. I left with the car I paid for. They brought the car out to me. I chose the car. I did the paper work. They reversed the Vin number and changed the price after I left. They are thieves at that place

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

[redacted]' makes a libelous statement in his rejection letter by calling this dealership "thieves". His rejection of our answer is ridiculous since we reversed the deal, gave him back his old car and refunded him his $500.00. If we were "thieves" as stated by [redacted] we would have never reversed the deal. We are enclosing a copy of the general release signed by [redacted] and trust that the Revdex.com will close the case.

Review: I decided to trade in a leased 2012 Ford Explorer truck for a leased 2014 Nissan Altima because the cost was very high for the truck and the contract for the car seemed like a better deal for me in order to save money. The dealership was aware of some damages on the door of the truck and verbally agreed with my girlfriend and I that they would take care of the remaining lease payments and also the damages. We were specifically told by the dealership "not to worry about payments or damages to the truck" and that they will take care of everything for us. A few days before Christmas, we were given a bill from Ford for an estimated $1,400 for damages to the truck. This bill was a shock to us because we were completely lied to. If the dealership would have told us from the start they weren't going to pay for damages, we would have taken care of it before trading it in for half of the amount of $1,400. Nissan's intention was to buy the truck from Ford and take care of the damages. Ford would not let them buy the truck and without contacting us, immediately returned the truck with all these damages left for me to pay. They did not contact me about any of this before it happened and instead, I received this bill from Ford. This is completely unfair and I need help resolving it ASAP because I am getting sent bills from Ford that I cannot pay. My credit is also in jeopardy. Thanks for your time.Desired Settlement: I would like for the damages of the 2012 Ford Explorer truck to be paid for by Nemet Nissan as we agreed on from the start.

Business

Response:

We are attaching a copy of a We Owe and customer Recap sheet signed by [redacted]. Please note the We Owe states that we will make 3 payments to Ford for a total $1371 (which we made) and "Nothing else is Implied or Owed." In addition the customer recap states that there are "no oral agreements or representations." It is quite clear when you review these documents signed by [redacted] that this dealership never agreed to pay for the damages.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have read the attached papers from Nemet Nissan. Please understand I would NEVER have traded in the Ford unless the damages were being taken care of. I would have taken care of them on my own for half the price. I would like this to be settled by being released from my contract early without charge. I will go back to Ford and work out a payment plan to take care of the truck damages. I was told in the dealership completely different information and I put my trust in a business that I shouldn't have. Nothing changes the fact that I was lied to from Nissan about everything that I thought would be taken care of. Nemet Nissan are not people of their word and manipulate their customers into purchasing cars. I would not like to be in contract with people who lie to their customers anymore. I would like to be released from my contract with Nissan WITHOUT charge.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

Our position on this matter remains unchanged. It is quite clear when you review the documents attached with our previous letter this dealership never agreed to pay for the excess wear and tear on [redacted] Ford lease as a condition of the sale. The We Owe signed by [redacted] clearly states we would make 3 payments to Ford totaling $1371 and nothing else is promised or implied.

The very reason a We Owe is presented for signature is so there can be no misunderstanding of any contractual obligations that have not been fulfilled at delivery of the vehicle. It is unfair of [redacted] to make accusations that anyone lied when the documents signed by [redacted] clearly acknowledge that nothing else was promised or implied.

[redacted] cannot be released of his contractual obligations since once a consumer signs binding contracts and takes delivery of a vehicle the transaction is final. Based upon the documents we have provided which clearly show there was never any agreement to pay for the excess wear and tear we respectfully request this file be closed.

Review: I purchased a brand new 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT from this business. On the [redacted] Dec 2014 I brought a certified check for $ 24, 739.79 for the balance of payment to Nemet Motors in order to complete the purchase and pick up the car. It turned out that the actual balance was 24, 688.79 a difference of $51.00. The discrepancy happened because the [redacted] gave me the incorrect figure when I telephoned during the week prior to the [redacted] Dec to confirm exact amount the bank need to make the check for. They acknowledge they owe me the money and whenever I call I am being told by someone named Harry that it was mailed. Then someone else said it was not mailed because the boss was on vacation. I telephoned quite a few times and I'm being told the same thing it was mailed but no one can say when it was mailed when asked. All I want is to get the money that is owed me. I have all my documents to prove that I over paid for this vehicle. I'm unhappy at the quality of customer service this business provides and am surprised they have risked their reputation for $51.00 as I would never buy a vehicle from this business and will advise friends and family not to buy from them also.Desired Settlement: I would like to get the $51.00 dollar that's owed to me.

Business

Response:

We are enclosing a copy of a check mailed to [redacted] Jan. *, 2015. It seems that this check was lost in the mail so we stopped payment. We are attaching the new check that was issued.

Review: I bought a new kia from nemet motors 7/2013 also this is my 3rd issue with this dealership I have had my car service with nemet since I had the car 2yrs I took it to them 9/2015 for a oil change had them check the front tires and they inform me they where bad the car only had 12,807 miles on it I informed the service person and was told to call the kumho tire people which I did and they told me to take it to [redacted] auto for a inspection which I did they told me the tires where bad due to a needed a wheel alignment I informed them hemet said nothing about this sear called kumho tires and they said they would give me 50% off on each tire and they would also charge for alignment and balancing I called nemet service dept and was told they do not cover that I will have to pay I said I will buy the tires and will you do the alignment and they said no then I call the general manager tom h[redacted] and left 2 messages which was not answered with any call back back then call service dept back and was told mr. h[redacted] was not over that dept and they would give it to the right manager but to no avail no one has call back but I received a call back for the buy back program and a survey for my recent visit. they just don't care and I mean never, never calls the customer back the service dept or the managers so I paid for the 2 new tires and wheel alignment and balancing I tried calling today to no avail

Business

Response:

Tire warranties are handled by the tire manufacturer. If the car was in need of an alignment this will cause the tires to wear faster. Tire alignments are not covered under factory warranty since it is a maintenance item and not a factory defect. Therefore we were unable to do the alignment without payment.

THIS IS THE WORSE CAR DEALER EVER. THEY HAVE NOW BUSINESS ETHIC AT ALL WHAT SO EVER.

Review: I recently purchased a 2015 Nissan Sentra and got absolutely ripped off. The dealer denied me the opportunity to review the documents and terms I was agreeing to. Adding on thousands of dollars in additional services and warranties by telling me it was apart of the deal I was getting and not that I had to pay for them. On the contract, It states that I am entitled to a full refund within 60 days. I went to the dealership today, only four days later and they refused to do the refund stating it was the end of the month and I need to come in three day when the new month starts.Desired Settlement: Refund/Return the car.

Business

Response:

[redacted] purchased and took delivery of a new 2015 Nissan Sentra. At delivery a menu of optional items, payments and terms was presented to [redacted]. After a thorough explanation of all benefits, terms and conditions [redacted] made her final selection by signing and initialing the contracts which included placing her initials next to the prices of all items and signing a bill of sales stating all sales are final. However after signing binding contracts [redacted] returned to the dealership with her son stating she was not happy with the contracts she had signed and accepted. In the interest of customer satisfaction and as a gesture of goodwill we offered [redacted] a settlement and for her to return to the dealership in 2 days to execute this settlement. At this point her son became agitated and threatening and we had no choice but to ask [redacted] and her son to leave. We are still willing to settle this matter with [redacted] but her son is not welcomed in this dealership. If [redacted] would like to accept our settlement please have her contact me.Sincerely,Scott P[redacted]?

On August **, 20** I purchased a 20** Nissan from NEMET. However I was told that the package includes the additional items at no additional cost. The documents were not given to me to be fully reviewed, a violation of Nemet motor’s own policy which states “[redacted]”. I felt pressured and rushed by the finance manger (Elway S[redacted]). However, the item in question states on the contract “If you cancel this contract within 60 days of the contract purchase date, then we will pay a full refund of the contract purchase price”. My son pointed this out to Mr. P[redacted] General Sales Manager (Steve A[redacted]), which infuriated Mr. A[redacted] causing him to kick my son out of his office. Mr. P[redacted] refused to even engage us in conversation, Mr. A[redacted] made it clear that Mr. P[redacted] would not talk to us and anything needed to be said should be told to him. Mr. A[redacted] did consult with Mr. P[redacted] but no settlement was reached, I was told to return on Wednesday, September *, 20** at 3pm for a final decision. I arrived on said date an hour early hoping to get the issue resolved only to be told that no one would talk to me because I did not have an appointment. I walked into Mr. A[redacted] office and presented him with the card that he wrote for the appointment and he responded he had nothing to say to me and would not help me. I sat and I waited hope Mr. P[redacted] would provide some form of customer service but it was only in vain. Mr. P[redacted] and his company’s lack of communication led me to contact the third party companies to cancel the item directly. They told us that the items are indeed cancelable but had to be done through the dealership. After explaining that Mr. P[redacted] and his company lack customer service or common human decency to engage in conversation they agreed to cancel the policies. I have signed and faxed the cancellation form which they in turn forwarded to Mr. P[redacted]. However, even thought the items are paid for, Mr. P[redacted] and his company Nemet Motor have not place them in the system, meaning they are simply holding on to my money and refusing to speak to me. It is my believe that Mr. P[redacted] is trying to hold off until the 60 days have passed to then tell me it’s too late to cancel the items. If Mr. P[redacted] is truly willing to resolve this issue in a civil and fair manner then I am so willing to do so. To this today, I am still not able to get in contact with Mr. P[redacted]. If he would like to meet today (9/**/**) or tomorrow (9/**/**) I would be gladly willing to do so. However I do not believe an initial purchase price of $16,995 should be transformed into $30,221.72. I would also like to make it clear that at no time did my son threaten any one or act in the threatening manner. All he was asking for was to resolve the issue but we were denied such opportunity. It was Mr. A[redacted] that was the aggressor of the situation by acting in a very rude and unprofessional manner, even referring to my son as a “punk”. It should also be noted that when Mr. A[redacted] was going over the contract he could not be accounted for a $200 charge. We were then told that this $200 was charge to us because someone recommended us and it is their policy to give $200 from my money as incentive. I was never even told about this. I have made several attempts to contact Mr. P[redacted] but to no avail.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

WE have reached a settlement and are enclosing a copy of the General Release.

Review: My name is [redacted], I am writing to you because [redacted] who is my mother-in-law recently leased a 2015 Santa Fe Sport with a 4 cylinder engine, AWD and the comfort package from Nemet Hyundai in [redacted]. I was present during negotiations on Feb [redacted] and the terms that we agreed on were $2400 due at signing and $312 per month after that for 36 months. Those were the terms that were understood. On Feb [redacted] which was the day of the contract signing I was not present. My wife and my mother in law were at the signing. During the signing it was communicated to them verbally multiple times that the monthly fee was $312. My wife asked the financial manager [redacted] who prepared the lease agreement whether the monthly payments were in fact $312 and he replied yes. After my mother-in-law signed the lease they realized that the lease actually said $512 dollars per month and not the $312 that we agreed upon. My wife recorded the entire conversation on her cellphone because English is not her first language because she wanted to review the information that was explained to her. Because of this we have evidence that the financial manager [redacted] told them very clearly two times that the monthly payments are $312 a month.

My mother in law was scammed by the people at Nemet Hyundai. I tried speaking with the sales manager at the store and also the general manager [redacted] on several occasions, but to no avail. No one would help us. My mother in law is ** years old and works as a part time dance instructor. She cannot afford the outrageous payments that she was scammed into agreeing to. This is not right and it will hurt our entire family’s way of life for the next three years. I know we made a huge mistake in trusting in their words, but we cannot afford to continue paying $512 a month nor do we deserve to. Please help us!

I can send a copy of the recorded conversation if it will help.Desired Settlement: I would like the contract that my mother in law signed to be voided and a new contract with the communicated terms to be drafted.

We would like to have [redacted] and [redacted] meet with [redacted] to address these concerns. Please have [redacted] Call [redacted] to arrange for a meeting ###-###-####.

Review: On 7/**/2013, I purchased a brand new Hyundai Sonata from Nemet Hyundai located at [redacted]. Two days prior to buy the car, I agree with salesman [redacted] the total price minus taxes and dmv fees. We sat down and filled out some forms. On the day of delivery, I sat down with finance officer [redacted]. At first while reviewing the contract, the numbers doesn't look right. The price I agree with [redacted], the salesperson is completely different from the contract [redacted], the finance officer has typed up. Being a first time new car buyer, I was assure by them both that everything will make sense after the manufacture rebates were factored in. Right after I headed home and review the contract over, I knew something was wrong. I found out there were two dealer added options which NOT ONCE was mentioned to me by [redacted] or [redacted]. One for a charge of $749 for Silver Card and the other was a charge of $749 for Nitrogen Tire Inflation? Together the two items added up to $1498.00 plus tax.Desired Settlement: Being a first time new car buyer, I put my trust on the salesperson [redacted] and finance officer [redacted]. To my disbelief, they have took advantage of my honesty. After doing a little research on the internet, I've notice these people are pulling the same scam and using the same m.o. charging new car buyer for options they never mentioned or asked for. I truly regret not reading the review before buying my new car at Nemet. I like Nemet to issue me a refund of $1629.45 plus tax for the two items I've never asked for

Business

Response:

[redacted] purchased and took delivery of a new 2013 Hyundai Sonata. During negotiations many different options were presented and discussed with [redacted]. Once there was an agreement as to the terms of the purchase contracts were presented to [redacted] who signed and initialed acknowledging his acceptance of the final negotiated transaction. If [redacted] was unhappy with any aspect of this purchase or the contract was not as negotiated the time to address that fact is before signing binding contracts and taking delivery of a vehicle. Once contracts are signed and a consumer takes delivery there can be no further negotiations. However as a gesture of goodwill and purely in the interest of customer satisfaction we would like to invite the customer back to the dealership so that we may discuss some settlement options.

Sincerely,

General Manager

Business

Response:

In the interest of customer satisfaction and as a gesture of good will this dealership was willing to reach a settlement with [redacted]. However it seems that [redacted] would rather make libelous accusations and engage in name calling than solve the issue. The truth of the matter is [redacted] signed binding contracts and took delivery of a car and is bound to the contracts he has signed and accepted. We are sorry that [redacted] is unhappy with this finance transaction but if [redacted] is not willing to come to the dealership to work out a settlement we respectfully request the file be closed.

Review: On June **, 2014, the Nemet Nissan filed 6 credit inquiries on my credit account without my authorization. I wasn't intended to buy any vehicles or try to finance anything, I didn't contact Nemet Nissan in for anything. I have no knowledge of this credit inquiries until I found out today when I check my credit reports. And today I called Nemet Nissan and tried to contact the finance department, but no one picked up the phone, and I left a message and ask them to call me back. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK.Desired Settlement: I Need Nemet Nissan to call me back and resolve the issue that they started, which remove those 6 credit inquires on my account. This is not acceptable, how can they inquire my credit without my knowledge and my authorization. My credits got affected because of those 6 hard credit pull. I NEED THIS TO BE RESOLVED ASAP

Business

Response:

We did not pull a credit report for [redacted]. We pulled credit on is brother [redacted] who lives at the same address and has a Social security number that is one number different. We have documents showing that we use the correct name and social security number for [redacted]. We called [redacted] and made an appointment for him to show us that this was incorrectly appearing on his credit bureau but he failed to appear for this appointment. Since this is an issue with the credit reporting bureau we suggest that [redacted] contact the credit bureau company that incorrectly placed the inquiries on is credit bureau and we respectfully request this complaint be removed from our file.

Review: I went to Nemet Hyundai to buy and negotiated a internet price with the salesman [redacted] for a Hyundai Tuscan at $22,332. When I went to pick up the car before meeting with the finance guy and signing over my tile for my trade in [redacted] set up new insurance, stripped my license plates and wrote trade in on my vehicle. When I finally got in the finance office and met with Seth he told me they need to charge me $500.00 extra for the car if I was to use my own financing. I chose to go through the dealers financing instead. When I was signing the Bill the price of the car was $23,171 I asked him about this and he said that it was originally this price but the rebates and deposit was deducted. When I got home I realized that Seth charged me an extra $919.00 more for the car and made me use their financing which was more at 3.8%. Nemet Hyundai lied to me about the sales price of the vehicle and the Financing. They also illegally striped my license plates off my trade in vehicle before I signed the title so I could not leave the dealership.Desired Settlement: Refund of $919.00 I signed an agreement of $22,332.00 then Seth in finance lied to me about the price of the car and made me sign another paper for $23,171.

Business

Response:

[redacted] purchased and took delivery of a new 2014 Hyundai Tucson. As you can see by the retail invoice [redacted] enclosed the price of the car was $23271.00 minus a $500 rebate. Please note [redacted] as signed this invoice stating all sales are final. If the price of the vehicle was not as negotiated [redacted] should not have signed binding contracts and taking delivery of this vehicle. It would have been very easy to put the plates back on his car and change the insurance. It seems that [redacted] has buyer's remorse and would like to renegotiate his purchase. However once a consumer signs binding contracts and takes delivery there can be no further negotiations.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

Based on your response

what you are saying is there is nothing wrong with scamming your customers?

Your

salesman [redacted]agrees to the $ 22,322 internet price you have advertised for

the vehicle. When I ask him for a copy of the sales slip. He writes it on a

blank piece of paper.

The

day I pick up the car your salesman [redacted] uninsured my vehicle, takes the

license plates off my car and writes trade in on the windshield. (Before the

title was signed over to Nemet Motors) Is it legal for me to take off your car

license plates to a car that you still own?

Then

I go to the finance office and [redacted] tells me if I use my own financing they

will have to charge me an extra $500.00 for the car. Then [redacted] gives me a sales

slip with $23,171.00 and lies to me about the rebates and deposit I put down. Basically,

overcharging me $919.00 for the car and a higher finance rate. ( So the rebate was never honored as promised)

The scam Nemet Motors used was to strip my trade in vehicle

so I could not leave the dealership holding me hostage and force me to overpay

for the car. If you call this good business practice then I ensure you there

will be plenty of lawsuits against your company. The only remorse and regret I have is buying a car at Nemet Motors.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

Once again [redacted] signed binding contracts and took delivery of a vehicle. The facts are as follows:

1. [redacted] signed contracts stating the price of the car as $23,171. This fact is undisputed and supported by the retail invoice signed [redacted] stating all sales are final. There are no documents stating any other price.

2. This car was never advertised at any price since we did not have it in stock and had to purchase it from another dealer for [redacted]’[redacted]. This is a material fact and is supported by documentation. All advertised vehicles and price quotes are for in stock vehicles only.

3. No insurance company will issue a policy without the insured’s permission. If [redacted]’[redacted] did not want the car the insurance company would have canceled the change and the plates could have been put back on the car. [redacted]’[redacted] chose to sign the contracts and take the vehicle home.

4. The rebate and down payment are deducted from the amount financed. This as well is documented by the retail invoice signed by [redacted]’[redacted].

When you review the retail invoice signed by [redacted]’[redacted] and the material facts it is quite obvious that [redacted]’[redacted] has changed his mind. It seems that [redacted]’[redacted] would like to fabricate libelous and unsubstantiated accusations in an attempt to renegotiate legal and binding contracts. However once contracts are signed and a consumer takes delivery there can be no further negotiations.

Review: while negotiating the purchase of a 2013 Exterra S model, I was giving a brochure with the standard items on the truck. One of the items is a bluetooth, when the truck arrived, there was no bluetoothDesired Settlement: I just want the bluetooth as noted in the brochure received from sales representive [redacted] and [redacted] went on to say that, in a worst case senario, I could bring the truck in to have it installed

Business

Response:

Although there was at typographical error in the Xterra brochure we contacted Nissan Motor Corporation and Nissan has authorized us to install Bluetooth in [redacted] vehicle.

Review: WHERE CAN I START .I BROUGHT A 2015 NISSAN ALTIMA ON AUG 2015. I CAME IN THERE TO PURCHASE A BLACK ON BLACK 6 CYLINDER ALTIMA. LETS JUST SAY, ALL THE EMPLOYEES ARE HORRIBLE AND PLAY NOTHING BUT GAMES.I WAS TOLD FROM THE FINANCE GUY MARLON THAT THE CAR THAT I ASKED FOR WHICH WAS BLACK ON BLACK 6 CYLINDER WILL BE COMING FROM ELMONT ON A TRUCK. AFTER WAITING HOURS FOR THE CAR TO COME IT WAS A 4 CYLINDER. ONCE I NOTICED IT,EVERYONE TRIED TO ACT LIKE THEY DIDNT KNOW IT WAS A 4CYL AND IT WAS A MISTAKE.HE MUST HAVE THOUGHT I WAS A FOOL. ANYWAY LONG STORY SHORT,THE CAR WAS BEAUTIFUL SO DECIDED TO PURCHASE IT ANYWAY. AFTER PURCHASING THE CAR, MARLON TOLD ME FOR THE "MISTAKE" OF THE CAR BEING A 4CYL HE WILL THROW IN TINTS FOR ME FOR FREE. SO HERE IT ALL STARTS. THE NEXT DAY, MARQUIS C[redacted] IS THE GUY WHO SOLD THE CAR TO ME WAS PRETTY MUCH THE MIDDLE MAN BECAUSE AT THAT POINT I COULD NOT TALK TO MARLON BECAUSE OF ALL THE YELLING AND NASTY ATTITUDE THAT WAS GIVEN TO MY SISTER AND I. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I WAS TOLD BY MARQUIS THAT THE TINT GUY COMES ON CERTAIN FRIDAYS AND TO TEXT HIM NEXT WEEK. SO AFTER ALL THE BACK AND FORTH I TEXT BETWEEN MARQUIS AND I ABOUT THE TINTS, I ALREADY COULD SEE THAT NOTHING WASNT GOING TO GET SOLVED SO I DECIDED TO LEAVE HIM OUT OF IT AND JUST GO UP TO THE DEALERSHIP MYSELF AND SPEAK TO MARLON. I CAME UP TO NISSAN NEMET AND ENDED UP SPEAKING WITH ONE OF THE MANAGER HERMAN C[redacted]. VERY NICE GUY BUT OF COURSE GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND AS WELL. HE MADE SOME CALLS AND THEN TOLD ME SOMETHING ABOUT A NUMBER WAS MISSING FROM THE PAPER THEY SENT IN FOR THE TINTS WHICH IS WHY I NEVER RECEIVED THE CHECK. LETS KEEP IN MIND THAT I BROUGHT THE CAR IN AUG, AND AT THIS TIME IT WAS OCT. C[redacted] THEN TELLS ME TO COME BACK ON FRIDAY (WHICH WAS 3 DAYS LATER) AND HOW THE CHECK WILL BE HERE. I COME BACK ON FRIDAY AND NO CHECK. THE MAN HAD MY NUMBER, A PHONE CALL WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE STATING THAT THE CHECK WASNT THERE. SO NOW HE TELLS ME HE WILL HANDLE IT AND GIVE ME A CALL. I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM C[redacted] NOT ONCE. NOT ONCE DID HE CALL. I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND LEFT MESSAGES AND NOT ONCE DID HE CALL ME BACK. ONE TIME I CALLED AND SOMEONE PICKED UP THE PHONE AND I LEFT A MESSAGE WITH HIM TELLING HIM TO TELL HERMAN TO CALL ME BACK. I COME BACK TO THE SHOP ANOTHER DAY AND NOW IM SPEAKING WITH ANOTHER MANAGER KENNETH KETCHEN. ITOLD HIM THE SITUATION WHICH IM PRETTY SURE HE KNEW ABOUT ALREADY BECAUSE HE WAS THE GUY WAS SUPPOSE TO GIVE KENNETH MY MESSAGE WHEN I CALLED. AND HE SAID HE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT. ALL IM THINKING IS HERE WE GO AGAIN, I HEARD THIS BEFORE, LONG STORY SHORT, KENNETH KETCHEN GAVE ME HIS CELL NUMBER AND TOLD METO TEXT HIM REMINDING HIM THE NEXT DAY TO LOOK INTO THE TINTS. HE THEN TOLD ME I HAVE TO COME UP TO THE DEALERSHIP AND SIGN A PAPER STATING THAT I DID NOT GET THE TINTS ALREADY.I CAME UP 2 DAYS LATER AND HERMAN C[redacted] WAS SITTING RIGHT THERE. THE MANAGER WHO'S BEEN IGNORING MY CALLS ABOUT THE CHECK. AS ANGRY AS I WAS, I REMAINED CALMED.KENNETH GAVE ME THE PAPER TO SIGN AND LET ME KNOW THAT'S IT, THIS IS THE LAST STEP AND NOW THEY ARE WAITING FOR THE CHECK TO COME IN. I ASKED HIM IF THIS IS REALLY IT AND HE GOES YES YOU HAVE MY CELL PHONE NUMBER YOU CAN TEXT ME ANYTIME. APPARENTLY NOT BECAUSE TILL THIS DAY, HE DOESNT RESPOND TO MY TEXT. 2 WEEKS PASSED SINCE SIGNING THE PAPER AND I TEXT HIM INQURING ABOUT THE CHECK, NO RESPOND. I CALLED ON A DIFFERENT NUMBER THE NEXT DAY AND OH LOOK WHO ANSWERS, KENNETH KETCHEN. SO NOW IM ASKING WHATS GOING ON WITH THE TINTS AND HE GOES OH THE TINT GUY COMES ON CERTAIN DAYS AND JUST LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU WANT TO COME. UMMMM APPARENTLY, HE WAS NOT SERIOUS ABOUT GETTING ME THIS CHECK BECAUSE HE DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT.I HAD TO TELL HIM THAT IM WAITING FOR A CHECK THEN HE TOLD ME TO TEXT HIM TOMORROW MORNING HE WILL BE IN BY 9. I TEXTED HIM YESTERDAY, NOV ** AY 12:51 LETTING HIM KNOW THIS IS THE TEXT REQUESTING BY YOU INQURING ABOUT THE CHECK. I EVEN TEXT HIM TO LET ME KNOW IF THE CHECK ISNT EVER GOING TO BE GIVEN TO ME SO THE WHOLE BACK AND FORTH CAN STOP. I RATHER JUST KNOW OFF THE BACK. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A TEXT BACK. IT IS NOW DEC 1ST AND I AM STILL GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH NISSAN NEMET ABOUT A CHECK THAT IS OWED TO ME FROM A CAR THAT IN PURCHASED IN AUG.THATS PRETTY PATHETIC AND MARLON, HERMAN AND KENNETH SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THMESELVES ESPECIALLY HERMAN AND KENNETH BEING THE MANAGERS OF THE COMPANY. AS MANAGERS, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO COME TO YOU ABOUT MY ISSUES AND IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SOLVED RIGHT AWAY. IT SHOULDNT HAD TO GO AS FAR AS TALKING TO KENNETH A SECOND MANAGER. FIRST POINT OF CONTACT AND WHEN HERMAN AND I FIRST SPOKE, ALL OF THIS SHOULD OF BEEN SOLVED. LESSON LEARNED FOR ME CAUSE ONE THING I DO KNOW IS THAT NISSAN NEMET LOST MY BUSINESS FOR GOOD.I WAS WARNED NOT TO COME HERE BUT DECIDED TO JUST CHECK IT OUT FOR MYSELF. ONCE MY LEASE IS UP, MY BUSINESS WILL DEFINITELY GO ELSEWHERE.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE THE CHECK OWED TO ME FOR THE TINTS IN THE AMOUNT OF 200 DOLLARS MAILED OUT TO ME IN 7 DAYS. I REFUSE TO WASTE ANY MORE GAS COMING UP TO THAT DEALERSHIP

Business

Response:

We are attaching a copy of the check that was mailed out. If the check has not been received please let us know so that we can stop payment and issue a new check.

Review: I purchased my 2014 hyundai sonata gls with popular equipment package from the dealership back in 3/**/2014. My vehicle vin# [redacted]. Their stock item was #H5422. The sales representative settled the finale cash price of the my vehicle purchase in which I signed and approved of. We agreed that the cash price for my vehicle was to be $17,270 - $200 for a scheduled appointment rebate. The paper I signed noted that the final purchase price for my vehicle was to be $17,070 + tax + dmv + fee. When I went to meet with the [redacted] to finalize the paperworks for my loan, he presented me with vague paper work and asked for me to sign them first then he printed out and listed the itemized bill after everything was completed. He told me the total cost for my car after tax, title and fee was around $21,300. It felt high and I asked him what the difference was, his response was that it was due to the tax, title and fees. The store was closing at the time and I went home with my brand new car. After careful inspection when I got home, the [redacted] put the cash price at $19,047 instead of the agreed upon $17,070 (that's almost a $2,000 difference). On top of that they charged me for a membership card that cost $799 for their lifetime power train warranty service (which I believe is a lie because Hyundai Motors already promise their customers lifetime warranty of 10 years/100,000 miles) and $799 for nitrogen filled tires which I never wanted. I told the [redacted] that I did not need the nitrogen tires but he insisted that they were free and a standard feature for sonata vehicles. I noticed the actual real price for my vehicle was around $23,500 after tax title and fee. The $2,000 cash back rebate hyundai motor provides for the purchase of a new 2014 sonata was deducted from this price along with my $300 deposit to reveal his so called "final price for my car". I would like to get the money back fro the misinformation he provided for the cash price difference and the misinformation about the nitrogen tires and membership card. That's about a total of $3,500 I lost from the [redacted]'s lies.Desired Settlement: I wish to receive a refund in cash or check for this discrepancy between the actual purchase price of my vehicle and the misrepresented price the [redacted] provided to me at the time of the final signature for my purchase and for dealer installed options (membership card and nitrogen filled tires) that I never needed nor requested for. $3,500 cash or check back.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration. I hope to hear from you soon.

Business

Response:

After signing binding contracts [redacted] purchased took delivery of a new 2014 Sonata. [redacted] states that he negotiated a price of $17047 including all rebates. [redacted]'s bill of sale reflects a selling price of $19047.00 minus a $2000.00 rebate for a net price of $17047 which is below the negotiated price of $17070 as stated in [redacted]'s complaint. When you review [redacted]'s complaint it is quite obvious that the contracts and bill of sale signed by [redacted] are quite clear. If [redacted] was not happy with the contracts he should not have signed them and taking delivery of a vehicle. It seems that [redacted] has buyer's remorse and would like to renegotiate these contracts. However [redacted] is bound to the contracts he has signed and there can be no further negotiations.
