To whom it may concern, [redacted] started service with HAWX Pest Control on May 4th, Her initial service was provided on May 5th, 2016, she called in for a reservice on May 12th, due to ants in the kitchenThe reservice took place on May 13th, On June 10th, we sent out a call, text, and email reminder for her upcoming service on June 14th, [redacted] called our office on June 13th, stating she would be calling to update her new card information because her old card had fraud activity, at the time of this conversation she never stated she wanted to cancel servicesWe preformed the first quarterly treatment on June 14th, On August 29th, our billing department reached out to [redacted] about the past due balance from the June 14th, serviceAt that time [redacted] said that she would pay the balance on the portal and didn’t tell out representative that she wanted to cancel servicesOn September 8th, we send out a call, text, and email reminder for her upcoming service September 12th, She texted back to the reminder stating we do not want this performed, please cancelMy grandmother is with my dogs and I do not want them going crazy with her there, please cancelShe sent the texts late at night and by the time the office staff got to the office the service was performedWe marked this as a free reservice due to it being on our end that the service was providedWe then sent a text message on September 19th, about the past due balance and there was no responseBilling called [redacted] September 29th, and her daughter answered and we asked to have her mom call us back, we never received a call backAttempted to call [redacted] October 3rd, and October 11th, no answer either timeOn October 12th, a text, call, and email reminder was sent out for her upcoming appointment October 14th, [redacted] emailed our office stating “Do not come to my home u have not wanted this the past times and you continue to come for a service I do not want! I will be filing a Revdex.com report after multiple times of telling you not to come to my homeI DO NOT WANT YOUR SERVICE!” We replied to her email with the following, “ [redacted] , We will not be coming to service your home on 10/However, your account is not cancelledPlease contact the office to close your accountThank you, Hawx Pest Control (855) [email protected] www.HawxPest.comWe have now zeroed out and closed [redacted] ’s account with us and will waived the cancellation fee, however we will not refund the money for the services rendered

Dear [redacted] ,We are sorry for any miscommunication or frustration that has taken placeIt looks like in your complaint with the Revdex.com you had signed up for services in October with a gentleman named JamesHowever, it looks like you signed up for services on June 27th with a door to door sales representative named TannerAt the time of signing up you signed up for a one-year service agreement agreeing to Bi-Monthly services, that included wasp treatmentYou received your initial service on June 28th, your 30-day follow up appointment was scheduled for July 27th, you contacted our office when reminders were sent to cancel on July 19thAt that time a representative was going to have a manager call you to resolve the issues regarding pricingA member of our Customer Solutions Department called and left a voicemail on July 20thWhen wanting to cancel your account is placed on a temporary hold, since we did not hear back from you on September 23rd an email was sent stating that your temporary hold had expired, and your account was placed back in our service scheduleWe sent reminders for your upcoming December 6th service on November 29th via text, email, and voiceBecause we did not hear from you the service was performedWe then received a call from you regarding your frustrations that you thought you had cancelled and we performed another serviceThe reason for needing a member of our Customer Solutions Department to contact you is when you signed up for our service plan and the service agreement there are things we must cover prior to cancelling the agreementAt any time that you are having problems with services or are unsatisfied we will come and reservice your home at no additional chargeWe do cover wasps in your service plan, we do not cover termites in your service planWe offer termite services, it is just an additional service chargeWe do not have record of speaking with you or servicing your home in OctoberWhat we can offer is moving your account from services to You have received services, which would leave you at $plus tax each for your last servicesOr if you wish to cancel prior to fulfilling the agreement you agree to give back the discount given on the initial service, an initial service has a minimum charge of $plus taxYou received your initial service for $plus tax, making the discount $plus taxAttached is your signed service agreement for your reviewWe hope that this response will come to an agreeable standingWe hope to keep you as a customer and look forward to hearing from you.Hawx Services

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This is completely advertisingThe door to door salesman never mentioned any sort of a contract for months of serviceI am not disputing that this could've potentially been listed in some fine printHowever, it is illegal to falsify information in order to get someone to signWhen the salesman came to the door in the first place, they were in the wrong because we live in a no soliciting village and a no soliciting sub divisionMy husband was home alone with our three kids, and he answered the door for this salesman and trusted him to not falsify a documentUnfortunately, that seems to be the "sales" tactic for the Hawx companyThe cancellation of our contract was step #in righting a wrong committed to my familyStep #is refunding the $for the second service which we were told was completely freeAgain, this was falsely advertised as a free serviceWe did communicate the spider issue via phoneThat was the whole reason why a technician came out! We were never told of anyone just randomly coming out in one month's time to spray and hit our card with another chargeWe were told this was FREEThere is not much more I can say other than we were lied to on multiple occasions in person and over the phoneI am aware that my response will be publicly posted on the Revdex.com website, and I am happy to know that others who are considering the Hawx company will be able to read about our negative experienceI am not willing to pay a $Revdex.com arbitration fee for something that cost us $However, I have all the time in the world to share my negative experience on every available platform that consumers use to choose a company with which they would like to do businessI feel like this will cost Hawx much more in the endSincerely, [redacted]

Your manager or whoever finally came out to the house after cancelling multiple times on us and he was the most unprofessional employeeIt was very obvious he was annoyed he was even at our houseFurthermore you don’t mention how many times we tried to call and resolve the issues and horrible problems every timeYou guys don’t say what you will do periodThe things you did list out were because you never do what you say you’ll do!!!
