My mother is 91, in an assisted living facilityShe has Medicaid, is signed with "Guild Net", an authorized care agencyThey are contracted with Landauer Med StarOver two months ago they sent a prescription from my mother's doctor for a compression stocking for herHer leg and ankle are swollenAfter many, many calls to them as to why it is taking so long to receive the stocking we were tassured it was to be delivered on November ***It did not arrive Sandra, my mother's Care Facilitator at Guild Net has called and faxed the prescription again to the President of Landauer and no one calls her back I called ###-###-####, extension ***, which I was told was where I could speak to someone about this"Aaron" told me he would connect me with a person who works with Guild Net ordersInstead he sent me to the "Oxygen Dept." and they told me they don't make compression stocking there and hung up on me I tried calling again this morning and get nowhere

My husband is a paraplegic and I have been his primary caregiver in our home since July 2015, at which time insurance cut him off from Glengariff Rehab center Upon his release, a hospital bed with mattress was ordered for our home by the social worker at Glengariff Nov* - I noticed a tear in the mattress with a piece of metal coil sticking out I called Landauer and was told that I needed to have the PCP send a prescription by fax Nov** - Orlando returned my call to let me know that no fax was received by the PCP Nov [redacted] - Called Landauer again, spoke with Jamie, was told no fax was received He told me that I should flip the mattress over and lay a comforter on top of it Nov** - Called Landauer again spoke with Dexter, he said that no fax was received, that Landauer receives thousands of faxes a day I called the PCP office again and was assured that the fax was sent to Landauer times Nov** - A nurse from [redacted] came in for the monthly

For several months ago we get a wheel chair from the above company, for MrWeiss a year old person , but its have serious -Dangerous- problems,  more than a month ago some one came  down to check out & he told us that it will exchanged ,  but since then we never heard from them , all our calls were ignored  & got no reply , this dangerous wheel chair requires immediate action !

I received a wheelchair from Landauer Medstar October They billed Medicare $over the course of a year( I found out later the same wheelchair is available on Amazon for $ They billed me a year later, October for $co-pay and have now added late fees bringing my bill to $I called my supplemental insurance cowhich is AARP and they informed me they requested additional information from Landauer Dec2017, Feband April Landauer never respondedI have called times and left messagesTheir voice mail says you must only leave a message, cannot talk to a person, but that a person will call you backI never received a call back, so I called the sales deptand spoke to a manager named Shelly She assured me it would be cleared upI also wrote to them two different times and never received a replyToday, Nov**, I received a threatening letter saying they would forward my account to a collection agencyI am years old and need your

I started using this company in 2011-for my mother and every thing that was ordered (about items over the years) was delivered on time and in good conditionCustomer service was goodAnd now I have a close friend who needs to deal with them but after reading these reviews I am very afraid to recommend themWhat happened? I have been unable to reach someone by phone for a month to straighten out bills they say I oweI have provided documentation proving that bills were paid and when and with datesThis company has sent me to a collection agency in the past and I had to prove to that agency that the bills in question were in fact paidi never heard from them about this I recently called and left a message that I had not received any statement for months and I knew I owed them that moneyI then received a bill, not a phone call, stating what I owed themOn this statement were reflected items from that had been paid in I included the information on this statement again, showing the info that these items had been paidI then subtracted this amount from the balance owed and sent a check for the real amount dueThis check was dated 2/*/and has not been cashed as of yetThis company provides me with my oxygen tanks and concentrator

This complaint is in regards to Ana R***, which is a senior with severe *** and *** who received a mattress from Landauer MedstarMy name is *** *** and the reason I'm submitting this complaint for Ms Ana R*** is because during April I called the medicaid and medicare office for Ana R*** due to the fact that she needed a new air mattress for her hospital bed because Ms R*** is bed written and needs this air mattress so she won't develop bed soresI called the medicaid office and the person on the phone referred me to Landauer Medstar for this company to supply the mattressTo insure that Ms R*** is entitled to the mattress I called her insurance and Long Term Managed Care and asked if she could receive a new mattress because Ms R*** present mattress has a hole I was told by every one including Landauer Medstar that Ms R*** could get the new mattress without any problemsLandauer Medstar never informed me that it was too early for Ms R*** to get a mattres

I was prescribed a CPAP several years ago, and have paid every bill received from Landauer They have sent me to collections on billing I've never received Their billing has conflicting invoice numbers, and do not itemize what is being billed, so there is no way to validate what is being paid on any one statement
I have just received yet another collections letter for a new claim that was never billed to me This has happened in the past, and I have disputed the claims with the agency The agency can only provide me with billing that can't be be reasonably verified against either dates or payments At this point the agency has over $in claims from Landauer from more than three years ago Again, no billing received for these items, and no statements of past due balance have ever been issued

I was sent a bill for a mobility device I was issued in the hospital after having it for about months I called the company and told them I would ot pay because I was not using the device and would prefer to return it I also told them that they had billed my insurance for padding on the chair which I never received The bill was for at the time and told I would not have to pay it since I returned the chair Months later after I have moved I am now receiving a bill since I updated my address for the original plus late fees totaling over dollars and the threat that my claim would be going to collections essentially ruining my credit I keep trying to contact someone to get this issue resolved and the billing department never answers the phone and asks to leave a message for someone to get back to me in one business day When I have gotten a call back the agent acts like they cannot hear me and hangs up How I am supposed to defend my credit and debate and erroneo

I have never had a a negative experience with any company like I have with is oneFirst, every time I call I am on hold for a minimum of minutesThen sometimes I get cut off after that and disconnectedI have been trying for months to find out the status of my dad's wheelchair- it is brokenI had a technician come to the house and look at it but haven't heard back about the statusI have left several messages and no one calls backI have never in my life dealt with such an unprofessional companyDo yourself a favor, save yourself aggravation and stay away

My husband was in Providence Rest Nursing / Rehab Facility They faxed all of the information for the equipment my husband needs at home Landauer Medstar was faxed the information and they have been faxing in the approval to Blue Cross to the wrong Blue Cross They keep saying that it is not approved when I spent almost hours with the Director of Rehab and Anthem Blue Cross told her that it was covered I can't get Landauer to do their job and fax to Anthem They had the nerve to ask us for the Fax # That is not my job to give them the information They will not call Anthem and get the fax number We then called Anthem who advised us that they never received a fax from Landauer MedStar Please help me get them to do their job

My husband, *** ** ***, Customer ID ***, is paying off a wheelchair from Landauer Medstar Our primary insurance is *** * *** is our secondary Landauer Medstar billed us $for 4/**/& $for 5/**/15-7/**/ We sent them two checks for these amounts (which they cashed) We then received statements from AARP that they ALSO paid them So, they were paid TWICE Over the past few months I have called several times & left messages No one calls back I have also sent a letter - no response I contacted AARP They have called & sent letters - no response I don't know what to do anymore I would appreciate any help you could give me Thank you

I MADE A PURCHASE IN MARCH,ON MY DEBIT CARDIT WAS THE INCORRECT ITEM,SO IT WAS RETURNED WITH A CONFIRMATION RECEIPT DAYS LATERIT TOOK HOURS TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNTTHE NEXT MONTH,APRIL, 201, MY DEBIT CARD WAS CHARGED FOR THE SAME ITEM WHICH WAS RETURNEDI WAS FORCED TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT, AND REOPEN WITH A NEW DEBIT CARD NUMBER

The wheelchair used by my late husband was picked up by Landauer Medstar on January ** and I have written proof in the form of a receipt and an e-mail from the building superintendent that they picked up the wheelchair They continue to leave messages that they have not done so and may charge me for the wheelchair

No details were provided for this billing nor was this matter authorized by my health care providerMy doctor advised me to have the issuer of the equipment provide for the return of it which I did

Post an emergency room visit the hospital ordered oxygen supply equipment as a precaution and informed us it can be returned if not neededThe company provided an excessive amount of oxygen and the wrong unit but I wasnt too bothered as I expected that it would be returned within the weekI wound up never needing the oxygen so I called up Medstar to get them to pick it all upTheir answer was that they would not pick up any of the supplies unless a letter is written and faxed by a Drrequesting the pick upBasically, they told me I don't have authority to tell them to remove the equipment from my own homeIt basically sounds like they just want to continue to bill my insurance as most people would just leave the items in the corner of their place and not go thru the hassle of trying to get them to pick up the itemsI have reported this to Medicare and my insurance company who were surprised at their actions of not allowing a patient to return equipment they dont use, they will be investigating this matter

This company delivered a wheelchair to my rehab center on November It was delivered late, and within a month started breakingIt was almost impossible to communicate with this company
On June ** I finally was able to talk to someone and was told that a new wheelchair would be delivered on July *, No call no wheelchairContacted compant on Jul * and was told that the chair would be delivered om July *, No call no wheelchairCalled again told my chair was backorderd but would be delivered on July *A wheelchair was delivered at 3:30, but such wheelchair was not the same wheelchair that Medicare paid for, it was a wheelchair worth $where the original wheelchair had a value of $This wheelchair is useless to meAfter many attempts spoke to them on July *** was told the warehouse manager would get back to me
I am disabled and this company is interfering with my life due to greed and dishonesty
