My husband is a paraplegic and I have been his primary caregiver in our home since July 2015, at which time insurance cut him off from Glengariff Rehab center Upon his release, a hospital bed with mattress was ordered for our home by the social worker at Glengariff
Nov* - I noticed a tear in the mattress with a piece of metal coil sticking out I called Landauer and was told that I needed to have the PCP send a prescription by fax
Nov** - Orlando returned my call to let me know that no fax was received by the PCP
Nov** - Called Landauer again, spoke with Jamie, was told no fax was received He told me that I should flip the mattress over and lay a comforter on top of it
Nov** - Called Landauer again spoke with Dexter, he said that no fax was received, that Landauer receives thousands of faxes a day I called the PCP office again and was assured that the fax was sent to Landauer times

I returned a commode to them over a year ago and now I'm receiving a bill with no explanation and penalties addedI tried contacting them but no one is available and no one returns my calls

Landauer Medstar deliverd a 'Transfer Bench' to my home following surgeryI told the delivery person it would not fit in my houseThe Visiting Nurse was behind him, and said let's tryI paid for the transfer bench and another item by checkThe delivery person said there would be no problem getting a refund 'they were the biggest supplier of medical equipment.'
It was decided I did not need the bench and it was returned the following day pick up and signed for by the same delivery personThat was APRIL **I have been trying to get my refund of $dollars ever since
When I call the office phone number, I am put through to 'Billing' which only takes a messageOnce I returned the ONLY call someone made to me from Billing(see later)

My husband had a stroke in 3/3/He was in the hospital and after transferred to a rehabIn September 26, we received a hospital bed and wheelchair from Landauer Medstar that the hospital acquired for us in my homeWe used it until April 16, when I had to go to the hospital with my husband for an emergency He was in ICU and then was told he should go to a rehab after to recuperate In April 21, 2018, I returned the bed thinking that when he come home, I could receive a new hospital bed and wheelchair He was being billed while he was in the rehab and hospital for this itemHe was to return home on August 3, and was told that the hospital bed and wheelchair that he wanted was already being billed by medicareI was supposed to get medical documentation that it was medically necessary and the company would send it to me The rehab faxed this times to Landauer Medstar I called several times on August 3, the day my husband was to go homeThey have said it was never receivedI know that medicare was being charged for the bed and wheelchair, even though I returned it I am very upset because my husband had to sleep in a "portable wheelchair"(which is much smaller and uncomfortable) from the time he got home August 3, to present dayI believe the company is committing fraud and is now trying to cover it up by saying this was never receivedMeanwhile my husband is out a bed and wheelchair because of this

Landauer MedStar has the worst customer service that I have ever seen When calling about a billing problem month after month after month, I have yet to receive a return call I will not work with them ever again It is a disgrace how they can stay in business.!

My father passed away in January He was in the hospital for the week prior to his death Landauer has been sending bills to my address (where my father did not reside) citing delivery of oxygen and related equipment from 1/**/(while my father was in the hospital), and then well after his deathThe last bill says delivery was made on 4/**/ The phone numbers for billing questions all go to an automated response saying they have "higher than normal" call volume Their online bill pay site (***) does not allow for electronic communication and directs you to the same bogus customer billing phone number - where there is no one live to talk to and no one calls you back (as the automated response says someone will within hours) I called the location directly went through the prompts and got right back to an automated message saying billing issues only are resolved via voice mail and call backs will be within hours Today

I started using this company in 2011-for my mother and every thing that was ordered (about items over the years) was delivered on time and in good conditionCustomer service was goodAnd now I have a close friend who needs to deal with them but after reading these reviews I am very afraid to recommend themWhat happened? I hope future experiences aren't as bad as what I have read

Our experience hasn't been negativeWe were assigned equipment from Landauer by the hospital rehab team once our mother was able to go homeThe equipment was delivered promptly but the hospital team ordered a manual hoyer lift which was hard to useWe called and the dispatch helped us get an upgraded electric version delivered to us that same weekendNo complaints

I have been trying to obtain a receipt for a wheelchair that was rented for my daughter I call the number, no one ever answers but a machine I have been calling for months During the first months they told me they would mail it outI never received anything I asked them to email or fax to ensure prompt delivery and they told me they couldn'tI tried again recently, this last month, I did get a return call twice Once from an Alexa and the second from AlexAlex told me to leave my information on the machine and they would send out a receiptI still have not received a detailed receipt though I left all the information and have paid the balance due, over what the insurance covered, with my credit cardI don't understand why getting a receipt if SO difficultIt is so unprofessionalI don't understand how they can stay in business

My daughter had called to request a humidifer jar and connectors for oxygen tubing as I am easily winded due to pulmonary blood clots My daughter was rudely questioned why she was requesting the supplies, was told it was insane if I needed more than feet of tubing When she spoke to the "manager" who claimed to be a respiratory therapist of over years he told my daughter that a humidifier bottle was not needed as 2-liters of oxygen rarely dries peoples noses out, that it could not be made more than the feet otherwise I would not have the proper oxygen rate, and when she explained she worked for a similar company and knew what she was talking about, she was told she did not know what she was talking about, and that it was unnecessary for the request They do not know the layout of my home to know how much tubing I need, nor do they know how dry my nose is from using the oxygen! These people are being paid to treat people with disrespect and be rude to raise their voices,

My y/o father had a stroke months ago He is in a wheel chair rented from Landauer Medstar The Left leg rest and seat belt broke a month ago I called their customer service over times, there is always a message due to high volume of calls leave a message I leave messages they never return calls I told the physical therapist at the rehab and she intervened by making numerous calls with the same difficulty She was able to schedule a pick and exchange for a new wheel chair that was supposed to be delivered yesterday between the hours of and PM There was no delivery or pick up and no calls to cancel the exchange of equipment My father told PT today and she with difficulty reached someone who said they had no record of delivery yesterday and maybe it was for today The PT and myself have spent hours and hours of failed communication and a failed deliveryI want to return the WC and end the contract but can't get through to them

This is a scammer companyMy credit card was auto paid every month and I didnt receive any product or service
