Nothing has been settled in this situationMy initial email to MsP [redacted] simply asked questions about the original billing statement that still have yet to be answered in any waywhen I called Ashton Pines on Monday 10/12/I was informed by Lynn to email Msp [redacted] with any questions I may have she neglected to tell me she was out of townWhen I called back on Wed 10/14/I was told by Ms [redacted] herself that she was out of town and just getting back to the office but she could not discuss anything with me over the phoneAt this time she did not specify that my email was taken as me contesting the original billing statement or that she had days to respond to itWhen I called Friday 10/16/to check on My rental verification's I was informed by Lynn that the verification's were received and that she filled out what she could and that they were sitting on Msp***'s deskAfter I filed this complaint with the Revdex.com I called what I thought was the corporate office to see if I can simply get someone to talk to me and spoke to someone by the name of JamieAfter speaking with Jamie and explaining the situation she apologized for the hassle I was going through and miraculously received a phone call from Ms [redacted] She at that moment informed me that she has days to respond to my initial email as she took it as me contesting to the original billing statementThat she was out of town and that she was handling things upon her return in which they were receivedShe also stated that my revised billing statement would be put in the mail by the end of the day and that my rental verification's would be faxed back to the rental offices by the end of the day as wellThen a couple hours later I checked my email and she had stated something totally differentThat my revised bill would be placed in the mail by the end of Monday 10/19/and that my rental verification's were sent to MrH [redacted] that he will complete them and then forward them back to the leasing office where they were fromWhich brings me to his response to my claimWhen he spoke to me about the day noticeI had no Idea what my rights were as a tenant and after going through this process I know I should have stayed and foughthowever as a single parent with small children, working full time, and school part time I was scaredMrH [redacted] did not help the matter as he informed me that they have no police report, arrest record, video tape, or pictured evidence of the accusations made against mebut that "He does evictions a month and his (witness) who filed the complaint provides him with enough preponderance of evidence for them win" if I did want to go to courtWhen I informed Mr H [redacted] that I had already moved he very quickly changed his tune instructed me there was no further need for court stated that I should turn my key in and give the rental office a forwarding address and that if I have any questions regarding that I should contact that rental officeSo it is very funny to me now how now it is differentIm the email I am going to attach you can read Ms [redacted] s response on Friday which contradicts the instruction of Mr [redacted] in his response to my initial claimBottom Line I want this to be over and move onHowever it has turned into some back and fourth spatIm made to feel as if I am doing something wrong for asking a few simple questions about a billing statement and asking that my rental verifications can be filled out and faxed back to a rental office that I am trying to secure and apartment with to provide housing for not only my self but my children and to get it done with out if taking a week so that I can ensure a deposit and know that I have that securityWhy should I have to wait a week or even days for responses to questions in an email? Why should I have to be intimidated by an attorney because I wanted answers to those questions in a timely manner when absolutely nothing has been explained to me in the first placeNow I have to wait for my rental verification's to be filled out by this attorney and be faxed back to my new leasing office, a paper that literally takes someone min to fill out and fax? Why? I will not close this claim until I receive the billing statement in the mail for the second time to ensure that it is right and my verification's are faxed to my potential leasing officeThat I hope are not sent with any type of opinion toward myself or further slander of my name/character from MrH [redacted] I have not done anything to anyone in this situation except for ask questions about money owed, some instruction or note of progress regarding the matter and for my rental verification's to be faxed back after being held up for now what makes more than business hoursI will not feel wrong or intimidatif I am wrong for simply wanting to get things done and move on from this situation or asking questions about money owed

Mr [redacted] , I have reviewed your account, and saw where maintenance did attempt to make a repair to the oven doorThe repair did not work, and a replacement was ordered for your homeThe replacement oven was installed today, November 18th, We wanted to thank you for your patience and apologize for the delay in the repairPlease contact the office should you need anything in the futureBest, [redacted] ***Community Director

I wanted to confirm you would definitely have the attachments for review Thanks.Ms [redacted] has been a resident of Cornerstone Crossing since April of 2014, and is very familiar with the payment process and due dates for payment, including the late fee method Per Ms***’s lease contract, she has not had an increase in fees since moving in nor did we change the late fee method or amounts charged when changing our notification process Since moving in Ms [redacted] has also received a rental statement each month outlining the amount due including all misc feesIn May of 2016, Ms [redacted] was notified the rental statement process was being changed to an online billing method, the first notification was on her June rental statement (dated 5.20.2016, copy provided to the Revdex.com), it stated that “New Life Multifamily Management will no longer be sending statement after the July 1st billing.” Along with this notation the following information was also shared, “Please see additional information on this fee and how to access your account details atwww.newlifeproperty.com.” Please note the week ending May 27th, 2016, Ms [redacted] also received a notice at her home specifically outlining the new Welcome Home Resident Portal (copy provided to the Revdex.com), which outlines the new payment methods online via the portal Again on Ms***’s July rental statement (dated 6.22.2016, copy provided to the Revdex.com), the following was listed in the Property Message post, item “***LAST STATEMENT [redacted] New Life Multifamily Management will no longer be sending statements”, including another reminder to access their information on the website, www.newlifeproperty.com Based on this information Ms [redacted] was given ample time to call or stop by the office with questionsThis portal now allows Ms [redacted] the ability and convenience of easily accessing her rental account balance due in real time on the website,www.newlifeproperty.com, with all applicable fees included at her leisure If Ms [redacted] needs assistance in setting up her information we invite her to come by the office and we will assist her in any way we canMs [redacted] makes mention of having outstanding service requests as well; however we do not have any outstanding service related items on our endIf Ms [redacted] would like to provide the details of those items we will get them addressed promptly Thank you

At this time I am showing that there are no open service request for your home The last request that we have is for your air conditioner that was addressed on July 28, If you have any additional request, please submit them to the office, and we will have maintenance address them I would like to address our on-call policy when referencing the weatherIf the temperature is above degrees outside then your air conditioner would be considered an emergencyWe address request in the order that we receive themAgain, we go off the temperature outside, not inside the homeLastly, I would like to speak to your last concern of work being done in the parking lotThis work is being completed by contractors not our certified maintenance technicians

We have been in contact with Mr***’s Staff Sergeant According to SSgt [redacted] , *** is unable to make or receive phone calls while at boot camp Since we were unable to contact the resident directly, we informed SSgt [redacted] on 12/13/that we would be able to release Mr ***s from the lease agreement based on the orders receivedThe orders do not, however, release the additional leaseholder since they are not a dependent of Mr***’s and they would not be covered under the SSCRA We have made attempts to contact the other leaseholder via phone and email, but have received no response at this time We do offer re-payment options if the additional leaseholder wishes to contact us in regards to setting up a payment arrangement

Revdex.com: yes the notice was given to me twice to sign Either way the first time I received it the heat treatment Dat was always 12/19/over days as the reasonable time frame Doesn't matter when I signed it as long as it was before 12/19/They just needed my consent to do it So that has nothing to do with the issue Now their Pest control policy states nothing about being able to make this situation right and at least credit my rent account something for all this trouble of having to wait over a month for treatment and me having been told by the rental office which I have voice recording of to treat myself and they told me I had to "do what I have to do" to make myself feel better about staying in the apartment while it was infested It took over days for anyone to answer the phone at the rental office or respond to my voice mail I have had mostly email contact with the property manager because no one will answer the phone at the rental office no matter how many times I called They told me I'm not allowed to enter the rental office and to only call and email until all treatment and inspections are done according to their policy but by law I can go to the rental office My neighbor had went to the rental office with his mice infestation complaints and the property manager bribed him with a gift card to write a good review for them on the Internet They are slum lordsOur hallways are trash and everything is falling apart and the smells are horrible I spend a lot of money to treat and all I'm asking is some kind of rental credit to my account because they have put me in a tight financial situation yet they expect their full amount of rent every month And I'm only here will about February They sent anoy her letter for an inspection and to bring a dog to sniff out certain typea of bugs I was home all day and when those days came no one came to my apartment Then the property manager called me that night and said they found activity in my apartment I asked they how if they never came in She said they told her they did They lied The property manager did nothing about it I attached a screen shot of an email showing again where she lied and told me my apartment was heat treated on 12/when it was treated on 12/ I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find the resolution is unsatisfactory to me

The last service request we have from your address was 8/10/and I don’t have record of where you requested for us to address an issue with your tub needing painted or a lightbulb for the oven We can certainly address these for you though You will be delivered a notice to enter today, Wednesday the 26th for maintenance to enter Friday the 28th to address the tub and the oven light Let us know if there are any other maintenance issues that need to be addressed

At this time we have addressed Ms [redacted] service requests and attempted to make contact with her to follow up to ensure those requests have been completed Ms [redacted] has not responded to those specific requests nor reported any additional requests for service If Ms [redacted] is in need of assistance she may contact her Resident Manager, Taylor B [redacted] , at [redacted] @newlifeproperty.com, or Community Director, Melissa E [redacted] at [redacted] @newlifeproperty.com

The refrigerator was inspected on 2/1/17, and was found working and holding the correct temperatureThe seal around the door needed replaced, and was replaced once the part was received on 2/7/You have made two service requests in regards to outlets, and both were addressed the same day the request was madeThe first request being 2/1/17, and the second being 3/6/The basement was reported on 2/1/17, and was addressed on 2/1/as wellPest control has been out to your home on several occasions, 2/1/17, 2/21/17, 2/28/17, and 3/7/On each occasion no activity was seenAs you can see we have addressed your concerns timely, therefore we will not be issuing any credits nor will we be releasing you from your lease agreementRegards, Melissa E***Community Director

I have allowed sufficient time to allow them to make the needed repairs to the unlivable apartment I have upheld the conditions of the rental contract, this business has not This business has also not addressed the issue that I have paid for an apartment that I can not live in They have not credited me the days I have not been able to live in the apartment

When the maintenance man came out to look at the stove he said himself that our apartment was unacceptableI showed him a video of the freezer that's making a clicking noise and blowing out hot airHe told me, " I see that the motor in the freezer is not workingThe freezer is ran by the refrigerator and if the freezer is not working than the whole refrigerator would need to be replaced." I talked to an employee about my ceiling and she said because it is not an emergency there is nothing they can doAs I said before I have spent a whole lot of money to keep replacing the food in my freezer and my problems in my home "Is not an emergency" and I've been calling since I moved in is unacceptable

Hello, this email is my response the to the message received from Ms [redacted] at New life propertiesMy issue still stands and my complaint remains the sameI'm actually appalled that Ms [redacted] would say that Ms [redacted] spoke to me considering the fact that when I attempted to set up a meeting with her, I was told that she was too busy with other more important obligations to keep her word and have a civil conversation with me about the issue at hand; [redacted] being the messengerYes [redacted] explained to me the process of ending a lease early, also telling me that would be charged daily until I turned in the keys and my response was that I would be contacting the Revdex.com, Attorney General and multiple news stations regarding the issue because I refuse to be victim to the unprofessionalism of this company and it's employees As far as the move in check list, no it was never able to be filled out and turned in due to the constant ignoring of my phone calls from day oneThe fact remains that my lease and the issues within the apartment itself were very much mishandledIt's wrong to withhold my rent and deposit as well as charge me under the circumstances of my landlord neglecting such major issuesThis is something that could have been avoided had the staff of this complex stepped up to the responsibilities they took once they gave me keys to this apartmentI will be making my way to the office of cornerstone crossing this week to pick up my copy of the lease that was mistakenly left there and will also be sending in pictures of the apartment as well as phone records showing the multiple times I tried to get in contact with them Thanks ,

I do not feel as if my money should be held if I never received any thing in regards to the apartment please inform me what exactly is my money paying for if I never entered into the apartment nor caused any damages my holding deposit for the apartment was why is the remainingbeing kept ? On Wednesday July 6, I received a door notice at 6pm from maintenance stating they could not enter my home to add freon to my air unit, and to go to the rental office and have a copy of the key madeI had a copy made exactly weeks prior, on June for the same reason, per request by maintenanceOn July 7, I went to the rental office to discuss this issue, and present them with a day hand written notice of the issue, and my plans to place rent in escrow if it is not correctedI was told by Andrea that I have every right to be angry, and if my air was not corrected when I arrived home on the evening of July 8, to come back and other measures would be takenOnly July at 5pm, maintenance entered my home simply to look at my unit, and tell me it needs freon, they are out of it, and he will send someone when the next batch comes inThe rental office has it documented that it is a new unit, just needs freonI feel if that was the case and the supply of freon is currently out, something could have been said the previous day

I am rejecting this response because: the repairs have NOT been done in a timely manner as statedAs usual, it's all about collection and money I'm moving and I just hope there are no shananigans in moving Regards, [redacted]
