I am on day three of my trial period with Identity IQ The company advertises that you can cancel anytime they do not go into any details on how to cancel
Upon researching...you cannot cancel ANYTIME; hours are 8:30-5pm CST Monday thru Friday only! No evenings, no weekends, and you can forget holidays; you can only call during those times to have an agent cancel it for you
There is no option on their site to allow you to cancel it yourself...like canceling via email, ***...that would be too easy and they wouldn't make their profit
I even tried to cancel using the email address they used in responding to my signing up for the trial period...it came back as a "donotreply" email address...this REEKS of being a deceptive practice
I have notified my credit card company and this complaint is my written documentation

I STARTED A SERVICE ON 2/28/AND CANCELLED THE SERVICE ON 03/12/WHEN I CALLED IN TO LET THEM KNOW I WAS NO LONGER NEEDING THEIR SERIVCES BECAUSE I WAS NO LONGER USING THE LADY FOR MY CREDIT REPAIRI NOTICED THAT I AM STILL GETTING CHARGED NO UPDATES ON INFORMATION ON MY CREDIT REPORT BUT STILL GETTING CHARGED FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH,APRIL, MAY AND JUNEI WANT A REFUND FOR THE AMOUNT THAT WAS CHARGEDWHEN I CALLED IN ON 6/4/THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY RUDE AND SO WAS THE SUPERVISOR WHO DID NOT OFFER ANYTHING AS SHOULD BECAUSE I HAVE NOT UTILIZED THE SERVICES SINCE THE FIRST DAYS SINCE I STARTED IN FEBRUARYI AM VERY BIG ON CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DOING RIGHT BY CUSTOMERS AND I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Great customer service! Have been with Identity IQ since ,Their monitoring service is active 24/7, love this knowing my information is being monitor, also have the insurance coverageThey are always their to assist with any question regarding with credit reports and score

Try calling to cancel, they dont answer their phonesno email no chat supporti want to cancel my account and have been trying for days!
I have tried calling the listed # for this company and I get a "sorry we are closed" "sorry all representatives are busy, please try later" and this is during the day not even after hours

This company charged my credit card times a monthly fee weeks in a row

Irony...a credit protection agency charged my credit card without my authorization
I had lost my debit card that was associated with my IdentityIQ monitoring service I received an email from them on March 10th that we were not able to charge my credit card and asked me to update my profile, which I elected not to do with my new debit card number Today, April 11th, I was charged twice for $on my new card which I never gave them the account number I called the company to request a refund and to ask how they got my new debit card number and I was told that my bank gave it to them (which is not the case, I verified with my bank)I was told that they would only refund one charge for $and the second charge stands I have no idea how they got my debit card number and why they would bill me without my permission I would like a full refund for $ These are fraudulent charges from a company that is suppose to protect your identity I never gave them permission to c

This company seems to have the reputation of telling customers they will not be billed again , then guess what ? The same story , I got billed again after the girl told me percent I would not get billed againRead the reviews which I should have , they have lied again and I will have to get my bank on them immediately Really bad company from what I have experienced and read DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL

I canceled my account with Identity IQ on 2/07/I was then billed for the next month of services on 2/08/I called and asked for a refund of
that months payment, and was told they would not refund my money

Fraudulent practices and unauthorized billing

After enrolling for the program under a day no oblgation trial, I cancelled my subscription days later in WRITING on 2/24/
Clear language was issued REVOKING further use of my credit card
In May I realized after doing an audit of charges on my credit card that this company still was billing me, which I am told by my legal adviser constitutes fraud
A call on 5/to their overseas call center resulted in the first rep hanging up on me
A second call was placed and I spoke to a supervisor 'Denise'
After offering to send her my written proof of cancellation on 2/24, she was not inerested in that but more interested in arguing to me they had the right to keep my money due to the fact I failed to call and this was in their terms
I advised her I never received notice of these terms and only a full refund would be acceptable

It's a great program to haveI like getting the alerts of changes on my credit reportI also like the website is very easy to use

Identity Is has been charging my social security card a month formonths I have held on phone for hours, minutes, minutes
I can not get them to pick up the phone to stop charging me for something I did not authorize and have no knowledge of they are charging my card, every month IParalyzed on a fix income and the hold times are over minutes then call drops for you to start all over againI am a paralyzed veteran

Two phone representatives hung up on me and lied about their system being down when I tried to cancel my subscription
I called the first time to cancel my subscription since they don't provide this feature online for some reason After listening to spam promotions I was put through to an overseas representativeThis gentlemen proceeded to yell at me and hung upon me Called a second time More spam promotionsAnother overseas representative lied to me and said their system was down (I was on their live website!) and he hung up on me as well I was forced to cancel my debit card associated with that account so as not to be billed again

they charged my card for that I didn't authorize and will not refund after canceling a after charge
on march 27th I spoke with a guy at *** and he said he was pulling my credit report he signed me up for this service and didn't tell me I will be reporting them as well days later I get a charge from this company on day today 04/I called to cancel and they refuse to refund the $they took out of my account

No service was performed so I want my money back
On April 16th I did a rewards survey online and Identity IQ was one of the companies I had to choice for chance to win $gift card, I forgot to cancel the membership by April 23rd so my card was charged on April 24th and I tried to cancel and asked for a refund of my $I was that they do refunds but I can get a discount for their services that I never even used I didn't even setup an online account but they refuse to give me back my $for services that they never even provided so why can't I get my money back.This is suppose to be a CREDIT MONITORING SERVICES so they can just take your money without using their services if you forget to cancel your membership during your day free trial...Be careful with this company I just gave away $that I don't have and they just told me, oh well

Unauthorized Billing for me and my wife
We set up an account with *** and authorized them to collect my wife and I's credit report and scores for We were not told there would be any recurring chargesToday there was a total of taken out of my bank, for my wife and for meMy wife is currently pregnant and we live on a very tight budget just to pay our billsWhen I called today to inform them of the situation they said there is nothing that they can do and a refund is not possibleThey said there is some technicality where when we paid the dollar we authorized them to continue to bill and they never issue refundsThis hurts us very badly, and we are very disappointed with the outcome of thisIt is unfair and in my opinion, unethical
