I called the company and spoke with [redacted] on approx 4/28/16. [redacted] stated that the rep that I had spoken with on 4/19 actually cancelled the account and then set up an order and billed me. The payment was declined and no order was sent. [redacted] stated that this was a fraudulent action by your Rep on the 19th. I would like for this rep to be reprimanded for his unprofessional and fraudulent actions. thank you. [redacted]

We issued a cancellation to the account when we received a call from her on 6/1/2016 and issued a partial refund in the amount of $47.73. The tracking information for each package that was sent, indicates that all of the product was received and the address information also matches what has been posted within the complaint. The trial offer had expired on 1/31/2017 and Ms. [redacted] was charged for the end of trial costs. Typically, the end of trial costs are non refundable, however,  Ms [redacted] contacted our offices on 2/17/2017 to discuss the charges and was issued a 50% refund on both charges that were issued after the trial period. We understand that this is not satisfactory and thus will provide a refund for the remainder of the charges in the amount of $89.86. This amount will reflect within 3 to 5 business days. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  HOWEVER, Nexacell states more untruths in their response that their company only sells Nexacell... a company I never agreed to do business with in the first place... yet the initial charges by Adaptive Eye and Nexacell were charged simultaneously, the additional charges were simultaneous, and the refunds were simultaneous.  How are the charges and refunds simultaneous if they are separate companies and I only filed a complaint against Nexacell?  The fact is, they are associated in some way whether it be ownership, employees, call centers, or just partners in this scheme.  There is no other way it could be possible.  In addition, that specific language was contained in a response from Adaptive Eye to a complaint made by a customer.  Odd how their wording would also be identical.The fraud is real between these two companies.  While I am satisfied in getting my refunds from both companies, I will continue to assist CBS News and the FTC in their investigations of both companies.  There are many customers who are not as lucky as I am, and who refuse to be bullied by the aggressive and rude "customer support" by both companies.  Since there were a few news anchors who were victims themselves, the entire experience will be broadcast for all to see.  In addition, notice how there is no name associated with the message from the business.  This is yet another deception that the business uses in order to hide their identities.  The companies have no trademark on their names or products despite information on their websites that were found to say they do.

Any further separate charges placed, will be from a different company and should be address with them directly.We make all of our information readily available to all of our customers to ensure that they receive the appropriate customer service.  Our packages come with customer service information within the contents of each shipment and our phone number is also listed on the product itself. The bank statement charges also includes a number, which has been recently tested, and indicates no previous issues with our telecommunications. It’s unfortunate that Ms. [redacted] was unable to contact our offices.In an effort to resolve the issue, we will be issuing a refund in the amount of $89.85 as of today. The complaint mentions that our information was not provided, however that is incorrect. Upon enrolling into our trial program, customers are provided with an email confirmation that has our customer service contact information. This information is also available on the customer's credit card statement with each charge, on our product labeling, and within the contents of every shipment. According to our records, Ms. [redacted] contacted our offices 4/11/2017 and we issued a cancellation on the account. Since then, there has been no further charges or shipments. Our return policy specifies that any automatic shipment within 30 days of it's original processed date refundable through provided returns authorization (RMA). We will be able to issue 2 immediate refunds in the total amount of $192.28, however previous charge is none refundable. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for the funds to process. Horrible company. I signed up on Facebook for a "free" sample. The small print--which I did not see, says they will charge you 89.95 after 14 days. They will also continue to send you the product and charge you monthly. However, when you receive the product--there are no invoices included that reiterate this--nor does the email confirmation say this very important information. Product takes about 14 days to get to you--by then, even if I did read the small print, I had forgotten it and there isn't a reminder. Product does not work. When I called to question the charges and cancel, they harass you when you and try to offer more discounts to keep the scam going. Outrageously priced..they say it takes 90 days to see results...but you have to cancel within 14 days...so in theory, you are out $270 before you know if it works or not. . When I called, they wouldn't cancel the order and wouldn't refund my money. [redacted] from the company told me if I returned the product, they would give me a 50% refund....but I had to wait until I got the product. When I received the product and called back, they told me no one works there by the name of [redacted] and that no one would tell me that. I said I actually have a recording and they said "no you don't" and refused to have me send it to anyone. There are no email contacts on the website. On the flip side, when you order this product they offer another "free" trial of an eye cream...when I called that company to cancel, they still harrass you...but in the end, gave me a 75% refund that day. Total and complete scam. Unethical. Crap Product

The response is false. They have continued to charge my credit card and I have contacted the company more than once. They have also left a threatening message on my answering machine.   I will be cancelling my credit card because of them.[redacted]
