Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meSincerely, Dawn [redacted]

I just spoke with you, my Nextdoor seems to be working okay now, I was pretty mad because simultaneously my Facebook/Nextdoor wasn't working so I told Nextdoor I didn't like thatI did tell Nextdoor I wonder if some of the leads of the pg are abusing their authority, it seems I post and people don't see it! My Facebook seems okay right now, but I'm still furious that my media access seemed blocked yesterday. I did ask the police officer about it, told him I wasn't saying it was him and he says it wasn't, oddly I commented about my local police on Facebook about months ago and my pg was blocked where I couldn't comment, until I told Facebook I had done nothing wrong and then my pg was fine, so I still find it peculiar! My local police mostly aren't professional and need to fire people! So for now I feel this is resolved and my suggestion is they make sure pg leads aren't abusing their power to take down or hide people's comments just because they don't like them, etc, so I'm okay if you close it and I think you provide a great service, I appreciate getting a live person when callingYou're welcome to put my comments stating that they need to watch the leads better. Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely, [redacted] Anytime I was contacted from Nextdoor is was for a different reasonThey never explained what I had done wrong to violate the guidelinesThey only said I had violated the guidelines for replying to replies on my post (which is NOT a violation of guidelines)They also said every-time I posted a new post or responded to my original post it sends out a notice to all users and is considered 'over posting', which I addressed as each individual user had their own control over notifications on Nextdoor Nextdoor also stated I have had numerous complaints about my postsI am still baffled about this since this appears to be an ongoing occurrence with Nextdoor that may or may not be tied directly to Nextdoor and very likely may be its membersOr both. The notification I received yesterday, again, was new informationIn this response he says times I had promoted my post; in his message to me it said I did it timesSo, his response to you and me are not a matchNextdoor appears to be inconsistent with where the violations have occurred and I continue to be confused; although I continue to make every effort to abide by the stated guidelines by continuing to read and reread the guidelines in order to find where I may have been in errorI continue to make an effort to follow all guideline and will continue to do so

I would like to drop this claim--I would rather keep a low profile and find another platform that is more user friendly and just plain friendly Nextdoor is just not a friendly environment and I do not have the energy to keep up with all of the dramaNextdoor is a very hostile environmentI have been recently harassed by a Nextdoor neighbor that has never even met meI can't deal with this type of drama anymore Thank you, [redacted]

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because:What I asked in my original complaint was not accomplished and I would like an apology, This business has brought in misinformation to a complaint that it was not directly correlated to and decided that they were going to question my characterI am the Mayor of the Town in which this forum is the focusThey decided to side with an individual who was offensive and insulted me and numerous other community members and abused his position as a moderatorI asked about the process to become a moderator before I was put into read only/limited access mode and when I was put into that mode I then contacted them to question why and when I did not receive a response contacted the Revdex.comThis companies policies are absurd and they are incredibly unhelpful and difficult to work withOne of these heated arguments was me asking a community member and the only moderator to not advise residents on matters of public health in an emergency situation in which they were not involvedI was looking out for the well being of the residents of the town for which I have been elected to represent and lead as the Mayor and Nextdoor decided to side with the individual that could of potentially led other individuals to make a choice that could negatively impact their healthThey then allowed this individual to remove my comments and posts that were made in an effort to protect the community and their healthThis is unacceptable Sincerely, [redacted]

Nextdoor is a social network for neighbors to share locally relevant information and connect with their neighborsWith such a specific goal in mind we ask that all members abide by the Community Guidelines: [redacted] These Guidelines include rules about Disagreements and conflict and using your real name The member in question was using an abbreviated name on Nextdoor and had several back and forth arguments with neighbors in the comments section of her postWe reached out to discuss these violations with the member on 3/22/18, she agreed to abide by the Guidelines going forward and her account was restored

Nextdoor members are all able to report content that they feel violates the GuidelinesThose reports go the the neighborhood Leads and a copy of the report is sent to the member who posted the commentThat is why this member got an email stating that someone had reported his comment as violating our “Helpful not Hurtful” guidelineNeighborhood Leads will then review the report to determine if it is valid or notThey can then vote to keep content that does not violate or remove content that does violate the GuidelinesWhile a Lead from a Nearby Neighborhood voted to remove the comment from their own neighborhood, it does not remove the comment from all the other neighborhoodsAs previously stated this comment is still active on this members newsfeed

Ashley,Thanks for sending us this informationIt was what we needed toinvestigate, and we're fairly certain we know what happened.During the sign up process, we give members the option to haveNextdoor send invitation postcards to their closest neighbors byclicking 'Send postcards' and confirming the send on the next page.Attached are screenshots of what those pages look likeAccording toour system records, Garland did click the "Send postcards" buttonduring the sign up process, which is why we sent the invitations tohis neighbors(I'm guessing he was clicking quickly through thedifferent pages and didn't realize that he had triggered the invites;I'm going to let our Product Team know about his experience, since wedefinitely do not want to send out postcards under a member's nameunless the person actually wants us to do so)

Member joined Nextdoor.com on 1/13/but we have no record of him contacting us about our $Amazon Gift Card promotion To receive the promotional gift card, a member must invite a friend to Nextdoor, who in turn successfully starts a new Nextdoor neighborhood website (launches their Nextdoor neighborhood with verified members)A member would also be eligible to receive a gift card if they created a new Nextdoor neighborhood after being invited by a friendMember did not create a new Nextdoor Neighborhood nor invite any other neighbors to our website, and therefore was not eligible for the gift card promotion Full details of the promotion available at this link: [redacted] Taking no further action at this time because of member’s ineligibility for the promotion

? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Only to state that I received a Nextdoor email that specifically stated my comment was hurtful (which it was not) and that the comment was removed for violating guidelines (which it didn't)Please see attachmentWhich is why I made this complaint to begin withIt would be nice to know that whomever monitors comments made on Nextdoor and makes a decision on whether or not to remove a comment is actually familiar with the guidelines themselves! If Nextdoor is going to promote itself as a place where the community can go for opinions on local businesses then it should not be deleting negative opinions about a business, in order to be true to their claim, or it's advertising! Sincerely,Charles [redacted]
