In its 1/30/letter, HSBC denied my application for the modification of a loan ( [redacted] )After inquiring, HSBC admitted that it had made arithmetic errors in adding income/expenses It promised to correct it Instead it did nothing until I contacted it againOnce again HSBC asked me for updated financialI provided thatHSBC letter of 3/20/informed me that it rejected my application I asked HSBC for two items: (1) the income / expense numbers it used for me to assess my application, and (2) the criteria for loan modification the absence of which makes the process arbitrary and discriminatory In fact, HSBC rep read some of the numbers to me on a recorded phone call and promised to have them emailed to me Since then I have contacted HSBC by phone and email requesting these numbers and they are refusing to provide them saying they are reviewing itSending me the numbers HSBC used to deny my application three months ago requires no review, HSBC has it, but refuse

Dear Sir/Madam: I came home today (January 12, 2018) to receive my new credit card since my existing card expires 2/2018. I received two cards, one in my name: MARVIN A [redacted] and another for someone named DOMINGO W [redacted] ***. This was problematic to me because I do not know this person. I have had this card for eleven years so I was really troubled. I spoke to 4 agents. All of them told me that only the card user can add an authorized user. Moreover, there was a second authorized and they claimed that I called to remove them. The security issues here are daunting me. I have set up notifications when my card received charges above a certain amount and such, why would not I receive a letter that an authorized user was being added to my account. Moreover, if this authorized user card is being sent to my home address now, would not their card be sent here upon being added to the account? I setup automatic payment with my service person [redacted] and my payment was to be taken out on June 8, The payment was not taken out of my account as of today June 16, so I called Beneficial to question why the funds had not been taken from my accountI spoke with a representative who advised me that there was an attempt to obtain the money from my account but it was returned insufficient funds from my bankI advised the representative that the information was wrong and we made a conference call to my bankMy bank confirmed that there is and has been more than enough funds to cover the draft and that no attempt was made by Beneficial to obtain the money The bank verified the account number with Beneficial and it was the correct numberI am not able to make a payment online, Beneficial refuses to withdraw the money from my account, and I was informed that there is no local location where I can make a paymentI am disabled and it is a burden for me to get certified

hen I open the account with the promo card with me, the teller told me I will be receiving cash reward of $350 as long as I kept at least $10K in the bank for 90 days. I let the days go by and after more than 90 days the Cash Rewards was not awarded to me. They told me that I was not qualified because of the equity line of credit that I am not aware of. I did not even apply for this line of credit and even that I did not receive any letter that I was not qualified.

My account shows an "Outstanding Lender Advanced Balance" of $that has actually already been paid in full I paid the taxes to my taxing authority in and so did HFC However, HFC has already received back the taxes they paid from my taxing authorityAccording to their own tax department, they received back their funds on 4/24/ But they have failed to credit this back to my account, so my account still shows an open"Outstanding Lender Account Balance" of $ I have contacted HFC customer service department regarding this on 10/28/2015, 1/5/2016, 2/18/and again on 2/22/I am always informed that HFC confirms they have received back the funds from my taxing authority and they will get this Open "Outstanding Lender Account Balance" removed from my account But each time they fall short of actually getting this removed or resolved

Predatory practices Have been trying to resolve an interest rate that is extremely high from 2006 at 9.59% I have called the company and was literally laughed at by an employee as I was trying to get help concerning loan modification or other possible changes in interest rates. This complaint is not directed at any one of the HFC but at HFC practices. My loan is pending sale and no one has information regarding the details of when this transaction occurred. The company that this is being sold to Select Portfolio Servicing. I had shared that I was seeking legal consultation in regard to this.
