Thank you for being a subscriber to the San Antonio Express-News I'm sorry to hear that you were having billing problems For the last two years we have had premium charges that will effect the expiration date of subscriptions As of last year our bills had not included these charges in advance due to constraint but have made the changes this year to our bills All subscriptions will be applied premium charges through out the year In addition, as of the end of last year we have also included a bill fee charge of $to send out bills and can be avoided by going to EZ Pay.In reviewing your account your weekly rate went from $to $per week This also impacted the $every four week specialLet me know if you want to reinstate your account Keep in mind that every subscription also comes with digital access dailythank you [redacted] @express-news.net

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:As of 8/11/2015, I am still receiving the e-edition (there is no option to unsubscribe from emails) and my account still shows that I am still subscribed to "Sunday + All Digital Access" with my next payment due 8/15/(See Attached).It is extremely frustrating that the Express News makes it very difficult to stop subscriptions and does not provide any documented confirmation when subscriptions are stopped.I will consider this complaint resolved when I no longer am receiving the e-edition and my account is deactivated or shows no payment dueRegards, [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

Let me say thank you for being a loyal subscriber and apologize for the service issues you have experienced In reviewing all the notes on the account you have had to call in multiple times for delivery of a service that you should receive without fail I have applied a credit of $ ($@ periods) for the lack of service and refunded the card on file I hope you give an an opportunity to keep you as a customer I have reached out to our field staff to look into the delivery issue If you do not see sustained improvement, please let me know I can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted]

Dear Mrs [redacted] ,In reviewing the account #the subscription started on 01/03/ A payment in the amount of $had been paid on 12/31/for a prior balance and then on 01/04/the account was charged back since the initial payment had declined On 03/25/we received a payment of $which would cover the past due balance and current subscription The payment received extended the account until 01/08/ I've adjusted the account to reflect an expiration date of 01/08/ As of 10/23/we started the Spur's Nation magazine at an additional rate of $per week A postcard was mailed the the address on file and a option to opt out was given Since you don't want your expiration date to change I've changed your subscription back to the $rate and corrected the expiration datePlease note that due to Thanksgiving and Christmas premium charges this expiration date may change Let me know if I can be of further assistanceThank you, [redacted]

We do apologize for the inconvenience and the confusion on the account We see that the reason for the adjusted paid through date was due to a rate increase that occurred on 09/20/and did change from $to $a week Our billing cycles are done on a week cycles if on [redacted] or weeks if on bill pay Our rates may automatically adjust throughout the year, which is why the billing is normally done in those cycles We will honor the weeks that were paid in June and will opt you out from the premium issues If you wish to pay the full weeks for next term you can do so by contact Subscriber Services at [redacted] The paid through date has been adjusted to 07/05/and the new amount due would be $for 2018-billing cycleRegards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:As of Wednesday, Nov8, 2017, there has not been an additional $reimbursed to my bank accountThere were two unauthorized deductions of $each withdrawn from my accountOnly one of those charges has been reimbursedI am still waiting on the additional $reimbursementA copy of my bank statement showing these charges was emailed to [redacted] on 10-13-It has been six weeks I have been dealing with this issue Regards, [redacted] ***
