Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The third party informed they are charging me the price that was quoted by NorthstarNorthstar sold my account and gave the incorrect price quote to the company they sold my account toAlso they have been over charging me long before they sold my accountBottom line is out want out of my contract, because Northstar hasn't been honoring our contractual agreement since day I first signed my contractThey are shifting the blameThey are doing very bad businessI want my over payments returned and want out of my contractIt doesn't take almost a year to fix the mistakes that they have Sincerely, [redacted]

I'm asking you to deal with the problem not the spelling of my name...Also, your company stated when we signed up that they were a subset of ***, part of the company, just a different branch Which is a LIEEvery aspect of service has been a lie Do you look at your reviews? ***, I am sorry to hear that you have been up happy with your security system from NorthStar up to this point I was able to review your account in regards to what you mentioned about the installation not being completed as well as the agreement length I am showing that all of the equipment listed on the installation form is what was installed in your home, as well as we were able to connect some previously existing equipment to give you some additional security in your home If there was equipment that was supposed to be installed and was not could you please let me know what it was and I can investigate further and make sure we get that issue resolved In regards to the agreement length that you signed up for I reviewed the paper work that we have on file and I am showing that it was for a month agreement, if you have it written down somewhere that it was supposed to be for the months instead I would be happy to make that change If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to let me know and I would be happy to further assist youBest regards, Aaron

Ms [redacted] , NorthStar understands that you have changed to a new company, and we are wanting to ensure that you are not paying two companiesTypical industry practice is that the new company will assist you with paying off the previous company, or if they are unable to cover the balance they will cancel the new account with them We have attached a final bill for your account with what would be owed to cancel the account earlyWe are showing that you have payments remaining and an early termination fee of $ If [redacted] is unwilling to cover that balance they should not have had you sign an agreement with you knowing that you already had a previous companyIf you elect to have the account cancelled immediately NorthStar will consider the account cancelled and resolved once that early termination fee has been paid, alternatively you can make the standard monthly payments until the end of the agreement term in September and we have set the account to cancel automatically at that timeWarm Regards, NorthStar Alarm Services, LLC

I am not sure we are on the same pageMy total bill was $ [redacted] which includes everything as I already statedI made my agreement with them where my bill would total $ [redacted] any taxes, fees, charges, etcis in that priceYou can send me the original invoice from Vision where it specifies what my charges included and be sure it details the exact amount you assumed I should have been charged but was neglectedI am very well aware of what my bill was supposed to be monthly in its entiretyI know the error of additional charges, possibly human error, came from the transfer of ownershipThat is not my responsibility to deal withAccording to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, it states that consumers should not be collateral damage in the service transfer processAlso, it says your interest rate, payment amount, type of loan cannot change just because the account has been soldWhich mine did based solely off the contract being soldI know that there was an error made which breached the contractIt was not on my end as Ive paid the bill timely for yearsI simply want the remainder of this contract eliminated based on it Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, [redacted]
