Hello, It is standard procedure that we dispatch a Service Tech to conduct an assessment in the event that a customer is claiming a leak or damage is a direct result of our solar installation If it is found that said leak or damage is solar related, we will escalate accordingly and come up with a solution for the matter at handThe Project Manager of the Customer Care Team had spoken with [redacted] on two separate occasions in regard to this matter and set him up with proper expectations concerning the length of time in which this would takeIn addition to the fact that it is an escalated concern and it would need to be addressed at a higher level [redacted] stated that he would be contacting his insurance company if we did not respond accordingly with an answer by the second day Unfortunately this was an unrealistic time frame for a resolution, as the quotes provided by the customer were totaling in $11,and any claim of this nature must go through the proper channelsIn between the date of the first conversation with [redacted] (11/24/15) and the date that this complaint was submitted (12/3/2015) a national holiday took place, leading us right into the weekend Another conversation with [redacted] also took place on 12/2/This conversation was to realign expectations and assure the customer that we were escalating this through the proper channels Our Service Team had contacted the customer to conduct a final assessment on 12/14/15, to not only ensure that we document all damages to their home but to verify that this was a direct result of our installation; to which the customer stated that they are waiting for their insurance company to come out and look and would like for us to conduct our inspection afterwardThe release of the funds was contingent upon this assessment and this put a halt on any movement on our endAs of 1/13/16, our Houston Office has received the insurance claim from this homeowner and is mailing the documents to the correct office for review Once we are able to look at these documents, a decision will be made on how we are to proceed We are looking to resolve this matter in a timely fashion upon receiving the information from the insurance company’s assessment

Revdex.com Serving New Jersey Whitehorse-Hamilton Square Road Building A, Suite Hamilton, NJ Re: ID # [redacted] To Whom It May Concern, NRG Home Solar respectfully submits the following response to your letter of June 13, pertaining to [redacted] complaint Upon receiving this complaint, NRG Home Solar reviewed [redacted] claims Based on our investigation, NRG Home has found that, not only has [redacted] not made any payments on her Solar Lease plan, but in effect she is asking for a unilateral reduction on her leasing agreement, which is not an accommodation that we offer as a part of the lease Furthermore, the leasing agreement which she signed does not state anywhere that the NRG Home Solar panel system can be removed at any time the customer requests, for any reason and at no cost to the consumer NRG Home Solar spoke with [redacted] on July 5, During this call we presented her with two options, the first is she can pay the lease up front, at which point once it is paid the panels can then be removed; while the second option is a deferred payment plan, where we can lower the monthly lease payment for months, after which the previously agreed to lease payment amount would be due on a monthly basis [redacted] was not amicable to either one of these options However, based on the lease agreement she signed, [redacted] does owe us payment for her solar panel system If [redacted] would like to discuss either one of the above presented options, we would be willing to work to set them up Until then, we consider this matter closedPlease let us know if anything else is needed Respectfully submitted, Frank S [redacted] NRG Home Solar

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The matter is not resolved NRG still will not address the issue that the initial salesman promised us solar would cover our electric usage based upon the statements he reviews from [redacted] for the previous year usage Moreover, according to ***, my usage decreased dramatically in 2016; therefore, being that NRG based their statement of being able to cover my usage on higher amounts shown in 2015, they absolutely should have been able to cover my decreased usage amounts in I am still receiving bills from [redacted] in addition to paying NRG I have asked NTH to remove the solar panels many times, based on the fact they were sold to me under statements and advertising I want these panels removed asap! They need to be held accountable and take responsibility for the statements made by their salesman just to make a sale! Regards, [redacted]

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] While I have accepted their offer of a $gift card (which I had to order on their site and will now have to wait to receive), I take exception to their comment that the gift card shouldn't have been offered and is only given to their actual customers who do business with them (per my phone discussion with them) Their representative clearly solicited a meeting at my home (while I shopped at [redacted] ***) with no strings attached; in return, I was to receive a $gift card (with no purchase required) I don't really consider this matter closed until I receive the gift card I would appreciate it if you would keep this matter open until the gift card is received Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because that response is a bald faced lie! My son was present at the Augmeeting and he heard the same things I didThe rebate was NEVER represented as a tax credit or that it carried on to the next yearI was told if I owed taxes they would be deducted from the rebate and the rest would be sent to me as a federal tax refundI was then to send that refund on to the finance company to lower the balanceThat was also the first time that I was told I was responsible for coming up with the money to lower itI never spoke to anyone at NRG about my taxesI was told my the finance company that I was not eligible for the rebate as I was on a pension and that I should check with my tax personThis whole thing has been one lie after anotherIf I had known then what I know now, I would never have let these people sell me anything, and in fact did tell them to come get the system off my roof two different timesI can't believe these people did the 49er stadium and didn't get sued for everything they haveI absolutely do not accept what they have said as it is all lies! Also, the so called tax credit will only carry on if the program is still in effect and extended for more timeIt is set to end 12/That doesn't sound like years to me Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because I have no idea what they intend to doI am glad that they finally acknowledged that there is a problem They say they are working on a solution, so I guess I just have to wait and see what their solution isAs stated, I don't know how I accept something when I don't know what it is Regards, [redacted] ***
