Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:this company is a scamI believe the only reason any action was taken by them is due to pressure from filing a complaint with the Revdex.comI have also filed a complaint with the [redacted] Commission, as online city tickets broke the law when they quoted me a shipping date of "on or before April 12." I will repeat, I did not and I do not accept their coupon for 10% off my next purchase with them because I will never use their scam againbut for the record, I was only offered that coupon when I complained that I had selected those specific tickets because they claimed to be delivered by email, and then I was asked for my physical address for them to be shippedno wonder Revdex.com does not accredit them, and honestly never should Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Thank you for reaching out to usAt Online City Tickets, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concernsIt should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.Prior to submitting their order on 5/6/2017, our customer was informed that their estimated In-Hand Date was 5/24/2017, they then proceeded to agree to our sales terms and submitted their orderThe estimated delivery date is set by the seller on the purchase, not Online City Tickets, and is often dependent upon the primary market, with which we have no affiliationWe were later informed that the primary market issued a hour delay on tickets to this specific eventThis means tickets will not be available to customers until hours prior to the event; as such, we immediately informed our customer of the new estimated In-Hand DatePer our 100% Money Back Guarantee, we pledge that customers will receive their valid tickets prior to their eventSince our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both partiesThis means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry and agreed upon by our customer prior to placing their order. As our customer’s valid tickets are scheduled to be delivered prior to their event on 5/26/2017, we consider this matter closedIf our customer has any additional questions pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service department to provide assistance.Regards,Online City Tickets

Thank you for your response regarding this matter; however, Online City Tickets maintains that all necessary order details were shown to our customer throughout the purchase process? Though our customer has indicated they were redirected from the venue website to our website to purchase tickets, we would like to note that this is inaccurateThe transparent website our customer visited has no affiliation with any venue or box office and is clearly notated as suchAt the top of the website’s homepage, it is stated, “We are a resale marketplacePrices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue.” On the right-hand side of the same page, we also further clarify, “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venueTicket prices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by Pavilion at the Music Factory.” Our customer was provided ample opportunity to review these details prior to entering shipping and billing information on the checkout page? Online City Tickets does not own or generate tickets as a primary box office; all tickets listed for sale on our site are priced by individual resellersAs Online City Tickets acts as an intermediary between ticket buyers and ticket sellers, we must ensure policies are fair to both partiesWe are unable to offer our customer a refund and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy?"a standard throughout the secondary market industryThis policy was agreby our customer upon checkout after they entered their shipping and billing informationAs we have adequately addressed all of our customer’s concerns, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Online City Tickets

sans-serif, "Helvetica Neu Thank you for reaching out to us. At Online City Tickets, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. It should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This sit is not owned by Palace Theatre Albany.” When Ms. [redacted] viewed ticket for the A Christmas Carol event on 11/30, she was notified that she could expect to receive her tickets on 11/28. Once Ms. [redacted] selected tickets and navigated to our checkout page, she was directed to review her itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed all fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bold text prior to entering any payment information. This page also reiterated the expected In-Hand Date of 11/28. Ms. [redacted] was required to agree to our terms and conditions—visible in a text box—and presented with the message in bold “All sales are final.” At this point, Ms. [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions listed above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process and displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Though Ms. [redacted] is requesting a refund, our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers and we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Prior to receiving this complaint, Ms. [redacted] filed a dispute with her financial institution regarding this transaction.Due to the nature of the dispute process, we are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open, and encourage Ms. [redacted] to contact her financial institution with any questions regarding its process or outcome. Ms. [redacted] valid tickets were delivered to her on 11/28, the expected In-Hand Date, for her event on 11/30, as such; we consider this matter closed. Regards, Online City Tickets

I purchased tickets for a concert and was charge twice the retail price (my bad for agreeing to that) but I was also charge a huge fee per ticket which was not disclosed until AFTER I put in my credit card information The site lists a "100% Money Back Guarantee" but then when you delve further, it offers no such promise I tried to chat online with the agent at the company (twice after they disconnected the chat the firs time) and they refused to refund my money, even AFTER I pointed out that the row they tried to sell me tickets DOESN'T EVEN EXIST on the arena map Do NOT use this company under any means I'm still trying to resolve my case and get a refund They are misleading and customer service is horrendous

Ordering was very easy and I received my tickets in days via *** I'll be back again for sure!

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/10/09) */ Thank you for bringing this matter to our attentionWe take the customer experience seriously and would like to take the time to address Ms [redacted] 's concernsWe should explain that OnlineCityTickets.com is an online exchange, which means we do not own or generate ticketsinstead, we facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellersWe have attempted to reach out to Ms [redacted] to speak about her concerns, but we have not been able to reach her Ms [redacted] is concerned that her tickets display a different name than her ownHowever, this is a common occurrence, and is not cause for alarmBecause listings on our site are owned by trusted sellers, the tickets come from these sellers directly to customers, and so may display the name of the original purchaserWe ensure that this is not an error, but simply information left over from when the tickets were first issuedAll tickets are guaranteed to be transferable and valid for entry to their respective events, and customers are never required to present identification that matches the name printed on their tickets Ms [redacted] has also expressed concern regarding the "face value" of the tickets that she purchasedThat is the price printed on her ticketsOnline City Tickets serves as an intermediary between sellers and customersthis means all ticket prices are set by the sellersThis fact is explained clearly on the final checkout screen and in our sales terms and conditions stating "Please note that the price you pay may be higher than the face value of the tickets you purchase....."Ticket prices may be above the "face value" listed on the ticket (they may also be below the "face value")." It is also explained on the left side of the checkout screen under Ticket Information saying "Price: Ticket prices may exceed face value." As mentioned above, Ms [redacted] 's tickets will be valid for entry and we are not able to provide her desired resolution per our sales terms and conditions that she agreed toIf Ms [redacted] has any further questions or concerns, we welcome her to contact us Thank you, OnlineCityTickets

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this matter. At Online City Tickets, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address this matter. In reference to Ms. [redacted] concern about the face value of her tickets, it should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale... marketplace. This means that we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. This fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue or box office."Because customers are purchasing tickets owned by individual sellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer cancellations and must adhere to an "all sales are final" policy—a standard throughout the industry. This policy is disclosed throughout the purchase process—from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”With regard to Ms. [redacted] claim that our website provided incorrect information about the availability of tickets, it must be noted that this is inaccurate. The availability of tickets on our website is completely dependent upon a fluctuating market, and quantities for this event are low. When Ms. [redacted] selected tickets and received the message that few tickets were left in the section, that message was referring to ticket availability on our website. Online City Tickets is not aware of availability on other markets.Ms. [redacted] valid tickets were delivered to her, and she has since confirmed that she has received them. As such, Online City Tickets has fully adhered to the terms and conditions to which Ms. [redacted] agreed prior to purchase. Additionally, we have reached out to Ms. [redacted] in an attempt to provide a resolution to this matter, but we have not been successful in reaching her by phone or email. If Ms. [redacted] would like to discuss a resolution, or if she has any other questions or concerns, we encourage her to reach out to our customer service team. At this time, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Online City Tickets

Thank you for reaching out to us and bringing this matter to our attention. At Online City Tickets, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. It should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or... generate tickets. Instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Ms. [redacted] has indicated that she was not aware of the entity in which she was placing an order until after her order was placed. To this we would like to provide clarification, as our operations are stated on every event listing, ticket listing, and checkout page. When Ms. [redacted] browsed events on our site, it clearly stated, “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by [redacted] Center.” Reiterated on the top of every ticket listing page we clarify, "We are a resale marketplace. Prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue."Prior to placing her order, Ms. [redacted] was presented with an itemized breakdown of her order and was required to agree to our sales terms. No order can be placed on our site without either happening. Ms. [redacted] selected a checked box which stated, “I agree to the sales terms and conditions listed above.” Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process and displayed at checkout with the message, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”As a secondary marketplace, Online City Tickets is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that, once a customer places their order, we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.Ms. [redacted] also claimed that she had not spoken with a representative, though that is incorrect. Prior to receiving this claim Ms. [redacted] discussed her order with a customer service agent who clarified all of this information. Ms. [redacted] valid tickets were delivered on 2/9/2017 for her event taking place on 4/7/2017. As we have sufficiently addressed Ms. [redacted] concerns, we consider this matter closed. If Ms. [redacted] has any additional concerns regarding her order, we have alerted it for routing so she may easily reach a representative.Regards,Online City Tickets
