We would like to take the time to address Ms***'s concernsFirst, we should explain that Online City Tickets is a resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between
ticket buyers and ticket sellersThis fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: "We are a resale marketplacePrices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue."
It is difficult to understand why Ms*** believed she was purchasing tickets directly from Amalie Arena as the above disclaimer and our branding clearly show that we are not affiliated with any venueAnd, while Ms*** takes issue with the fact that the prices of her tickets exceeded those advertised by the venue, our sales terms clearly state that prices may be above face value
Furthermore, our phone checkout process gave her multiple opportunities to verify her orderWe'd like to address that all inbound sales calls that take place are recorded for quality and assuranceMs*** contacted us shortly after she received her tickets and let us know that the tickets were for the wrong dateAs we take the customer experience seriously, our management team reviewed the phone sale that took placeThe tickets purchased and received by Ms*** were indeed the correct tickets and for the date the customer agreed upon during the phone saleAlso, we should mention that before any order is placed, whether online or with one of our phone sale representatives, the order details are thoroughly reviewed with the customerIn addition to the order review, at the end of the call, the agent states: "Do you agree to our sales terms and understand that you are entitled to a full refund if you do not receive your valid tickets, or commensurate replacements, prior to your event?" The agent also states: "Are you aware that your order total is in US dollars, you may be paying above face value for your tickets, and that all sales are final?" Because the same statements are made at the end of every call, Ms*** would have heard these statements and been made keenly aware of this policy
As previously stated, Online City Tickets is not directly affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box officeWe facilitate the transactions between ticket buyers and ticket holdersThe prices of tickets on our site are set by the individual ticket sellers, not Online City TicketsThese prices are determined by the licensed sellers based on their assessments of market factors such as customer demandThis means that ticket prices can fluctuate at any time, and sellers are notified as soon as an order is placedFor these reasons, and because customers are purchasing tickets listed by individual resellers, we must ensure our policies are fair to both partiesThis means that we are unable to offer refunds and must enforce an "all sales are final" policya standard throughout the industry
As a courtesy outside the scope of our Terms and Conditions, we offered to help Ms*** by relisting her tickets on our siteThe tickets did not sell by the event date, however, and the listing was removedSince the tickets were being listed as a courtesy but did not sell, the ownership of the tickets still belonged to Ms*** and she was notified that these would be valid for her useAs we must maintain our "all sales are final" policy, we cannot issue Ms*** a full refundIf Ms*** has any further questions or concerns, we welcome her to contact us

Although there was some questionable additional fees, I was able to print out the tickets I purchased as ordered After reviewing Online City Tickets competition, I found their price competitive I'm hoping we have no problem sitting down in the seats we paid for

I went to their website, it was very easy to use I paid for my tickets and they were immediately emailed to me and ready for printing I would highly recommend this site!

I'm so excited to see *** *** in concert! This was the easiest ticket buying experience I've had in a very long time Thanks!

I am rejecting this response because:I do not believe this business has made any effort to validate that their "seller" is in possession, or ever will be in possession, of the tickets That is what is causing the delay Their seller may be purchasing from a different seller, who could be purchasing from yet again another Anywhere down the line, one of these sellers could choose to go with a higher bidder I still find this to be an unethical way in which to run a business Obviously they feel that they fully disclosed and therefore there is no issue It seems as though I have no other option but to make my travel arrangements, and hope that they can get me the tickets by the promised date I am extremely disappointed in this business's customer service While chatting with them online, the representative abruptly ended that chat supposedly due to "inactivity" when I had responded a mere seconds beforehand

Ms***reached out to us about this date change and indicated that she would no longer be able to attendIt should be noted that Ms***typically would not be able to receive a refund for a postponed event, per the policy agreed to prior to checkout which states that customers will receive a "full refund for events that are canceled and not rescheduled."

I am rejecting this response because: The copied and pasted form letter did not address any of my noted concerns. It was a generic response and poor attempt to absolve them of misleading sales tactics. Furthermore, it did not address the "not for resale" disclosure from the original ticket sales company, while still calling themselves a ticket resale operation
