Processing went smoothly, I received my confirmation email within minutes of placing my order.

I will look for another way to purchase tickets next time. The fees are ridiculous. $110 dollars in fees... not again!

we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. This fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: “We are a resale marketplace. Prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue.”When Ms. [redacted] notified us that she lost her tickets, we attempted in good faith to work with our reseller to get her tickets reissued. Unfortunately the reseller of this ticket was unable to get the ticket reissued. Online City Tickets cannot be held liable for lost or stolen packages, and this is disclosed in our service terms and conditions. Our 100% Money Back Guarantee ensures that customers will receive authentic tickets which they requested or comparable in time for the event which was fulfilled in accordance with company policy, which Ms. [redacted] was provided. We have been in contact with Ms. [redacted] regarding this issue, reiterated our policies and offered a courtesy but have been unable to reach an amicable resolution. It should be noted that we attempted to go outside of our policy to provide a one time courtesy resolution, which Ms. [redacted] has rejected. I am rejecting this response because: 
The reason I filed this complaint is because I did not receive resolution through my credit card company.  They stated they  could not further intervene due to the fact that the merchant provided documentation that the tickets were delivered.  My issue is that they were not delivered in a timely manner for me to use which is verified by the email I received that shows there was an email error.   I am attaching copies of the emails where it states there was "a typo". Therefore, I am pursuing it through the Revdex.com and the case is not closed.

itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and branding are intentionally different from those of any other website. Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means that we do not own or generate any tickets – instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue or box office.”Because customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must enforce an “all sales are final” policy – a standard throughout the industry. Our sales policies, including out “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process – from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”In addition to this current claim, Ms. [redacted] has filed a dispute with her financial institution regarding this transaction. We have addressed this, and encourage Ms. [redacted] to follow up with her financial institution regarding any further questions or concerns about the order. We understand that Ms. [redacted] ordered tickets to see Motown - The Musical on 2/15/15 and that inclement weather may have prevented her from being able to attend this event. Because of this, Ms. [redacted] has asked that OnlineCityTickets provide her with a full refund of her purchase. However, because sellers on our site list their own tickets and are notified as soon as an order for their tickets is placed, we are unable to cancel or refund orders, or provide exchanges. We can provide refunds only in certain situations, such as when an event is outright cancelled. As the Refund Policy transparently described in our sales terms states: "All sales are final. A full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping charges, will be given for cancelled events."
As her event was not outright canceled, we are unable to provide Ms. [redacted] requested refund. Sellers list tickets on our site under the condition that orders can only be voided when an event is outright canceled, which is why our sales terms clearly stipulates this fact, and the checkout process clearly states that all sales are final. As a marketplace, the terms of sale must be fair to both sellers and customers. We now consider this matter closed--but if Ms. [redacted] has any other questions or concerns, we welcome her to contact us.

I ordered my tickets from this company October 26, 2016 and received October 27, 2016 . Printed off. Seats exactly what I asked for and all went smooth. Cannot say anything negative about my experience. This is the first time using this site and very impressed. I've read a few reviews that made me nervous but I did not encounter any problems whatsoever.

complaint between the time we received his complaint and the date of his event. We left him several voice mails, but have yet to hear back from him. It does appear that he downloaded his will call pickup instructions for his tickets, and considering that his event has since passed, we will consider his issue resolved until further notice. We ask that Mr. [redacted] reach out to OnlineCityTickets management if he still has concerns with his order.

On 10/25/15, Ms. [redacted] purchased tickets to see Janet Jackson on 6/15/16. This event was later postponed by the artist for a later date. It should be noted that Ms....

[redacted] typically would not be able to receive a refund for a postponed event per the agreed-to policies at checkout.This policy is in place to help ensure that the customer can attend the event they originally elected to attend. I am rejecting this response because: I did not speak to them on 9/3 I could not get in touch with anyone even the credit card company tried. I spoke to them on 9/9 and told them there was no way that I could get the tickets via email at that point. I was away, that is why I needed them when I ordered them. I paid an extra 17 to down load the tickets right away. the button that said download now was grayed out.  why was I charged the extra money if they emailed them to me right away? I will tell you why because they are all a scam. At this point I just want my 103.00 that the credit card company did give me. Ok how about this they pay me the 17 x 3 the extra amount that I paid to down load right away. thank you

The website was very easy to use and I had my tickets printed off in a matter of minutes after purchasing them.

All worked out well in the purchase of tickets

I do believe that this complaint is, in essence, resolved. As I had mentioned in my original complaint, I did acknowledge the differences between face value and actual price of tickets and I did agree to that upon purchase. However, I do believe that it should become policy to issue refunds when there is a significant difference between face value and the price actually paid regardless of statements put on the site. That said, I acknowledge that Online City Tickets is not providing this service and I accept their decision regarding the matter.
