The company offered me a trip at one price which I accepted and then tried to book They then invoiced me for nearly double the offered amount Isn't that bait and switch? Regards, [redacted]

My husband died and I was in the hospital and unable to take the trips and they refuse to reimburse me, all of the information, hospital records, doctors, medical records were provided to [redacted] Grand Circle Travel's insurance company. December 7, 2017RE: Case#*** To Whom It May Concern: We are in receipt of the above referenced complaint filed with your office concerning Complainant’s Overseas Adventure
Travel (“O.A.T.”) trip called “Real Affordable Peru” that departed on September 19, 2017. In speaking with the Trip Leader that guided Complainant, we find that Complainant and all travelers on this trip were warned about the severity of the mosquitoes at Machu PicchuThe trip leader did not recommend wearing shorts, recommending instead long pants (hiking pants preferred) and long sleeved shirts, both with plenty of insect repellentThe Trip Leader also recommended where to buy insect repellant if travelers had not brought their own and told them to make sure that it was a repellent with high DDT.After Complainant was suffering, the Trip Leader gave information about using *** and antihistamines on the bites, but Complainant declined, even after the Trip Leader gave a map to the pharmacyThe trip Leader also offered to take Complainant to get medical attention, but this was declined as well.We are very sorry that the Complainant suffered this situation on our tour, but we don’t feel there was anything else the Trip Leader could have done to assist, and we must respectfully decline offering compensation for this situation.Sincerely, *** ***Traveler Relations

Was there possibly a delay in mailout? Can you provide a date of mail out? How many trips were available over the dates cited at the $2395? Were all of those trips at that price sold? Can one person buy all of the available trips offered on a promotion such as this?
