Deceptive practices
On March members of my church booked a mission trip from Houston TX to Peru with AeromexicoOur Flight was scheduled to leave on Sept 8th Unfortunately Houston was struck with Hurricane Harvey just a few days before our tripIt left some of our traveling members with out a home, and placed others in a tough position financiallyWe decided it was best to cancel our tripAfter what seemed like a nightmare week, things got worse when we contacted Aeromexico about rescheduling our flights
Aeromexico customer service was very inconsistent when we reached out to them notifying them about our situationWe found out quickly that not only were we going to pay over $in fees per ticket ( which was kind of expected) but that they would not give us the same price per ticket that we see online for the replacement ticket
What do I mean? We purchased our tickets from Houston to Peru for $The new ticket for the new date and location is advert

Aeromexico has a lot of corruption in the Mexico city airport They engage in tactics to make you miss your connection, and then they will not rebook you until you pay large fees They wanted to charge one of our volunteer medical team aid workers $to rebook on the next flight My housemate had a similar experience where she literally had to pass $cash, out of sight to get them to fix everything Our team member did not do this, and they got punished by having their ticket cancelled, so she lost the return flights of her round trip They now said they wanted $to reinstate the return side of her round trip The $round trip ticket seattle to guatemala through mexico city Was now $500, + $for a new ticket from MEX to GUA, and $to get back home We missed the connection in mexico city because of long customs time and slow luggage handling tactics to make people late to planes so they could charge fees got to right gate minutes before plane left but they said they gave my seat to someone else, and wanted the $ Anyhow I ended up buying a completely new ticket fror $550, paying for my bag again, but I still didn't have a return flight in a week They now wanted $to reinstate my return flight I am now looking at $out of pocket for round trip I should have flown first class on *** or *** and I will never fly through mexico city ever again, or on aeromexico ever again I am afraid to fly aeromexico home because my connection is even shorter on way home and they will try to make me miss it and extort money from me again Do yourself a favor pay a little extra for another airline and have peace of mind And don't fund the corrupt employees in the Mexico city airport

My husband and I were supposed to be on a flight back from Mexico City into JFK New York on AeroMexico Flight *** at PM on Tuesday, August 29th arriving JFK on Wednesday, morning August 30th at 12:AM Upon trying to print our boarding passes in Mexico City, no seating assignment was on the boarding passes, not even a gate number We had to go to various information desks to find out what gate was scheduled to depart into JFK Once we approached the gate location for JFK, I approached an AeroMexico agent to question why I did not have seating assignments, I was told to wait for the boarding agent to come and assist The boarding agent arrived minutes before flight departure Mind you, I was on my scheduled departure gate hours before my scheduled departure time When I approached the boarding agent, she responded by telling me to leave her with our boarding passes that she would take care of us Really? Three airline tickets were purchased separately for family members using the same credit card for all three purchases Credit card statement was received showing all three charges When we did the on-line check in for my father, we were informed that there was an issue with the ticket We called and were told that there was no problem, that he just had to go to airport and present a credit card to pay again since first payment was "on hold" He went to airport hours before flight departure He was told he had to pay an additional $ He was willing to pay it at the time, but then was informed that the flight was full and he would have to return the following day and no additional payment was made The same issue happened to my mother, who was the second family member who was going to travel When we called about her ticket, we were informed that the payment was not made for her ticketWhen I told the lady that the credit card was charged, she said it was "a system error a

My name is *** ***, I did a business trip from Colombia to Puerto Vallarta Mexico, throught *** *** I bought round trip tickets Medellin, Colombia to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for *** ***, *** *** and *** ***, these tickets included pieces of luggage for free round trip But on the return flight, one of the Copa flights was operated by Aero Mexico and they carged us the 2nd piece of luggage, eventhough the ticket said pieces of luggage per passenger Aero Mexico charged my credit card dollars for each 2nd luggage and there were luggages A total of dollars

I am writing both a general complaint regarding the late departure of *** *** on Tuesday, August 16th from *** *** *** *** *** *** as well as a specific complaint for the Aeromexico representative who checked me in that night Unfortunately, I did not get her name, but if there is a way to identify via registration records who it was that checked me in, I would appreciate that because this staff member should be written up for very poor customer service
In terms of my general complaint, I wanted to call attention to the late departure of the *** flight, which resulted in me missing my connecting flight in *** *** *** was scheduled to depart *** at 11:56pm, arrive into *** at 6:00am to be able to connect to the 7:25am flight to *** *** *** which was scheduled to arrive into *** at 10:15am However, the flight from *** was over minutes late in departing, and arrived into *** too

When I initially made my reservation your call center failed to informed me of your company airline policiesI have traveled and flown with several different airlines and I've never come across an airline who's terms are ridiculously unreasonable and unrealistic to accommodate the common traveler I can no longer make this trip for personal unexpected reasonsI have canceled my flight from another airline with ease and did not have to suffer any panelization feesThe fact that you are charging me a $no show fee on top of a cancellation fee of $is unfathomableWith that being said, at no point during the call did your representative disclose your policy's to meIf I was aware of this by no means would I have booked my flight I should not have to incur these fees simply because your employee failed to inform meIt is clear to me that Aeromexico has no regard for customer satisfaction and your company is the prime example of corporate greedI have never been taken advantage by a company to this degree Aeromexico clearly has no ethics when it come to their customers and I demand a full refund paid for the reservation above I expect to hear from someone in upper management to resolve this issue immediately

Flight tickets purchased for my parents were not able to be used due to a medical emergency of my mother, airlines booking *** Contacted AeroMexico on occasions between 1/& 1/9/to discuss situation at hand and confirmed there would not be any issue with obtaining a refund under the circumstances On each occasion representatives assured there would not be any issue and during the final conversation with employee, Maurico (#***), he even went as far as emailed me the information I would need to assist with the refund process After several attempts to finalize a resolution, AeroMexico responded with only a credit voucher with them to be used within one year--conflicting with what was explained on the three occasions with their service reps Additional attempts to escalate the issue for a full refund has gone ignored

AdvertisingBaggage policy on their only website contradicts the pricing I was chargedI was charged $for my 1st additional bag to my allowance March 30th, Now I being threaten with $for additional baggage regardless I called, emailed, and visit Aeromexico to update website to stop switching the baggage fees for September 7th, My stress, energy, gas, and integrity feels wastedSpoke to Chatal ***, Carlos ***, & Hugo ***

"Note that your ticket is non-refundable and we are not able to make an exception on this rule nor to the policy that has already been issuedPlease be informed that any affectation is not imputable to the airline but due to the gravity we provided with a month and a half time of grace to modify itinerariesYour reservation is currently cancelled, and for re-schedule you would have to contact our call centre directly to verify what the fees are, as you may be subject of fare difference, exchange fee and additional charges, we cannot provide you with the amount to pay as far
