Billed for paper moving pads never providedImproper padding caused damage to my furniture and fine print on insurance disallows my claim
I have been working with Pack and Load customer service since Feb 10, 2016, the day after our POD arrived in Texas to get a $refund for paper moving pads that I did not see any evidence of in the PODAs I had only partially unloaded the POD, Pack and Load responded that the crew lead said that he had used the paper pads in the front of the load so I would not see them at the back of the load I gave him the benefit of the doubt and continued to unload over the next few daysNo paper pads were found Before completely unloading,I took a picture of the front of the load where most of the furniture pieces were and a picture of how some of the pieces were "wrapped" to show that there were no paper pads The Crew lead now changes his story and says that he used the paper pads underneath my cloth moving blankets I asked Pack and Load to tell

I would never use Pack N' Load again I am currently in a dispute with them on the job they did unloading our POD in WA back in May (they also loaded the POD in TN.) They were doing a good job until the last item was to be moved, which was a safe The WA crew didn't know there was going to be a safe They didn't have the right size hand-truck or the extra person they needed The safe slipped off the handtruck, fell down the stairs hit the wall and caused a hole in the new carpet (The house had been freshly painted and new carpet put in before we moved in.) The company doesn't want to pay for the repairs They are holding their liability statement as including house damage, which it does not The liability statement only states examples of damage to an item loaded or unloaded from the storage unit, not damage done to the house itself So, I am working with my credit card company in trying to resolve this issue The company is fighting it They even altered the document I signed agreeing everything was done alright That is not really true I didn't want to sign the document but the Pack N' Load guy said he couldn't leave until it was signed I asked him if he tried contacting someone He said no one was answering..which was true because I couldn't contact anyone at that time either I signed it with an asterik then added a note of what happen That is no longer on the copy they sent to the credit card company, which makes me think an alteration was done
The company is very dishonest and they do not supply the correct number of people or equipment to do the job correctlyDo not use them

PLS continues to charge my credit card after I cancelled the serviceThe cancellation was sent via email and phone call days prior to delivery day
I was referred to PLS by PODS when I booked my container 6/24/
On 7/my needs had changed, and I emailed a cancellation to Ricky S***, the individual who handled my orderSince I did not get a confirmation, I called 7/12, and after two attempts, being on hold for min and disconnected once I finally got through to him and got the cancellation confirmed
On 7/I was charged $on my discover card, and on 7/I was charged $twice and credited $onceI have sent email to have the legality of charges documented or have them credited
At no point in my conversations with PLS was I informed of a cancellation fee

Requested refund of $for "paper pads" not used in my move and were not as stated in descriptionMovers said they would remove fee, didn't do so

I have received the response from Pack and Load Services dated September 15, and continue to dispute their claims as outlined below
I was referred to Pack and Load Services by PODS who claims no affiliation or endorsement to Pack and Load Services yet they are listed as a recommended service on their website dispute the countless bad reviews of Pack and Load services and numerous Revdex.com complaints
Attached as Exhibit #is the non-binding estimate of $1,for pack and load services to be completed in one dayThe actual amount I paid was $4,which is nearly times the initial quote due to Pack and Load Services falsifying the length of time required to complete the jobThe job took a total of days to complete when it was quoted to be completed in day
I believe it's also important to highlight the fact that Pack and Load Services hired a local moving company called

Company failed to deliver agreed services, charged double, fraudulent actions
The Move was scheduled for end of August They arrived late with a truck far smaller than what was contractedsent a crew led by a guy with a headset stuck on his head, constantly speaking with someone, while complaining all the while that he was too old for this s*He was accompanied by two young kids, one of which swiped/stole alcohol from our fridge multiple times and was drinking in our house, on the jobThe onsite supervisor witnessed this and yelled at the kid, who continued drinkingThey damaged virtually everything you can imagine, overstated materials used (and left it all hidden behind the condo so they'd not have to return it.) They failed to even complete the move, as they showed up with a truck several sizes smaller than that which we had contracted, and brought an extra guy they tried to bill for who must have been in his late 50s/early 60s, and spent most of the time in the air cond

Hired this company to move my house from one location to another During the move they damaged many of my items and refuse to pay for the damages
I hired pack and load services based on your reviews online and they seemed reputable I called and setup the appointment and asked if everything would be protected and was assured they would be wrapped, padded, and blankets used to sufficiently protect my items I was in a flood months before and had to replace several items because of neglect of the movers so I wanted to use someone based on great reviews Most of my furniture is new or purchase in a few years and was extremely worried about damage being done In late April Pack and load came out to my house and the first warning about stupidity I noticed, should of fired you then, one the guys was upset and venting because you should of provided a third guy for the amount of items I had in my household I watched them carefully and not all of the furniture was being wrapped beca

PLS arrived to pack and load my home on july 28, They didn't pack the entire house, even though I asked them too at least different timesThey charged me for mirror cartons when all they did was wrap a blanket around the mirror and tape a box to the outside (times) They dumped drawers of belongings into boxes creating a huge mess They improperly packed the trucks resulting in multiple items (piano, headboard, dining chairs, etc.) being damaged/destroyed Crew was rude, frequently using extremely foul language and discarding cigarette butts in yard and on porch/sidewalk/driveway They left trash (empty bottles, etc.) in garage and in the yard I had to hire someone to finish packing and cleaning the house I had to make another trip (450+ miles) back to the house to clean and finish loading Many boxes were not full,

I was billed a flat rate when I should have been billed an hourly rate
I was in the middle of an out of state move and needed the packers to come back to load a second POD container They charged me a flat rate of $and it should have been an hourly rate The packers were there for exactly one hour Pack & Loaders keep telling me I ordered the flat rate I DID NOT! I had to turn in my cable equipment and had no e-mail access I got the PAID invoice after hours and as soon as I was able on Monday Nov 21stI told them of the billing error They refuse to change to the hourly rate Doctor's don't even get $698/hour Who would do that They called me several times on Tuesday Nov 15th and not once did we discuss a flat rate for the second move I want my invoice corrected to the hourly rate Pack & Load took advantage of a very hectic day as all moves are and should have confirmed the flat rate vs the hourly rate before they charged me

Terrible experience! Had to have them come back out to repackage the POD, then got charged for extra paper pads! If the job had been done correctly the first time they wouldn't have had to use extra pads!!
As far as professional packers, ha that's a joke! Nothing professional about it! They tracked mud all over my house! Still can't believe they didn't throw in the additional pads!

Won't return $charge even though we canceled on the same day as calling them
