I signed up for the gutter guards and before receiving services I tried to cancel. they told me it was after the 3 days and will still take my money.
On September 20th I attended a festival and signed up for a Paradise Home Improvement Sales rep. to come to my house and give me an estimate on how much it would be for gutter guards. The salesman Stanley came to my house 10am on September 24th. He told me all that they would do and the prices they would then charge me. That is when I declined the services and Stanley being persistent insisted on calling his boss to see if they could make a better offer. Which I continued to decline. After continuously telling Stanley I don't want the services as a persistent salesman he just kept trying to sell it to me so I finally just signed the contract and he left my house around 3pm. As of October 10 I tried to cancel the services before they arrived to start completing the job and I was told that I am not allowed to cancel because it is past the 3 days and that they will still take my money after 6 months. When signing up I was told the money wont have to be paid until the services were completed . I let Larry know that I just recently had to purchase a water heater and wont be able to pay for the gutters so its best I do not get them now as I will not be able to pay for them now . Still without care Larry said there is nothing he can do and will still take my money. I need something to be done because if I do not receive the gutters I feel I do not need to pay for what has not been done.

Desired Outcome

I would like the services canceled so they do not take my money for services I never received.

I do accept this response . I would appreciate if I could get the financial institution's information so that I can finish the process.

They won't stop calling me. I signed up for something at a fair. They called me to schedule an appointment for gutter covers, which I did. Then I got a call saying that I won a free estimate, which confused me. I thought the estimate would be free. Then I was told that it would have cost me $415 dollars for the estimate. They also wanted me to change the appointment to a time that was not convenient for me. I was reluctant since I was not told that they originally intended to charge me. I did initially setup the appointment, but then I cancelled early in the day. Despite me telling the person that answered that we had changed our minds about making any expenditures, we continued to get calls. I ignored these calls, but then answered one to ask them once again to stop calling me. I have still gotten 2 calls since then. I have resorted to blocking the calls as I don't want to be harassed. I will never use this company for anything due to this experience.

Gutter Gardian installed by Paradise has created a 'niagra fall" in front of my sliding doors every time it rains. Looks like gutters have sagged
First and second called to salesman did not get a response (Aug 5th and Aug 13). third call on Aug 13 to general manager and was told would be out "sometime next week" and I would get a call when they were on the way. forth call on Aug 27 to general manager I was given the same answer. "sometime next week" Advised him that if it did not happen I would file a complaint hoping he would want to avoid this and correct the problem. The gutter gardians have a lifetime NO CLOG guarantee. Because the gutter sags, it is clogged and this needs fixed. The general manager did not seem at all concerned with my problem and finished the call "Thank you for threatening me, bye bye"

Desired Outcome

I just want my gutter fixed. Since it seems that Paradise is not willing to do this, I would like the cost of the repair be paid by Paradise AND my life time guarantee will not be affected

All I want is my gutter fixed so I do accept this response with reservation as I have been given time frames for the repair in the past and nothing was ever done

The team that came to my home was lead by Brian. The job they did was outstanding. My home took on a million dollar look with the windows. I would have to give Brian and team 10 stars for the job done installing the windows and the clean up. The difference of the windows from Paradise is amazing. Am so glad I chose them.

They maintained contact apprising me of changes in dates of completion, until the job was done. The service men were friendly and skilled. They knocked out the job as expected, except quicker. Good job! Will use them again.

We love our new windows! I?m going to order the final two windows. The workmen were nice and friendly and did a great job installing the windows. They also did a great job cleaning up behind themselves. Susan

The final project was great but it was difficult pinning down a start date and getting a hold of anyone working in the office.

I felt the crew that was at our house was polite, knew what they were doing, and was willing to do whatever we needed done.

Sales promises not kept, canceled contract, refund not made for almost a month ($500).
Contract made 4/8/2019. Scheduling call from contractor was to happen within a week. I had to call 3 times to get work scheduled. A single worker showed up at the scheduled time on 5/6?2019. He right away started telling me many of the promises made on the contract would not be done. I canceled contract. Contacted Jeff B, General Manager expressed my displeasure and why I canceled contract. We agreed to go our separate ways. I asked for my $500 refund. He said he would handle it. It is now almost a month and no refund has been made. Spoke with Mr. B 5/30/2019 and he said when he got back to the office in 30 minutes and find out what happened and call me. No call. I have no faith this company will refund my deposit since it has been almost a month since I asked for it.

Desired Outcome

I want a certified check in the amount of $500 as my refund in an overnight delivery to my home address.

A check was cut to this customer and the customer notified us yesterday that they had not received it. We reissued another check today and put it in the mail today. We explained to the customer that we had put the check in the mail today. The customer was not happy with that stating that he wanted it sent certified. The check today had already been mailed. If the customer doesn't receive this check by Thursday June 6th. I will be happy to cancel that check and over night him one that day. I feel confident that the customer will receive his check by Wednesday of next week. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I was quoted a complete E-Shield package by the sales person. I was guaranteed that my power bill would be reduced.
I was sold the E-Shield package for $13,800. My money bought me insulation for my rafters, R30 blown in the attic floor. Also, caulking and sealing of cracks and a water heater blanket.
The sales person indicated to me that a full refund would be made within 5 days of install if I was not fully satisfied. There's no way of knowing of a difference in that short period of time. After I received my 1st power bill nothing changed. I called Paradise Home Improvement and I was told that the energy wattage rates had changed and that's why my bill hadn't come down.(Duke Energy residential rates are unchanged) However, there has been a change in the commercial rate. So I was misled to believe that was the reason. I called Paradise Home Improvement back and I sent them copies of my power bill to show them it was unchanged. I talked with an employee named Jeff. He said, "I will come myself and find out what's going on." Jeff has not nor has anyone been back to my home. I have left numerous messages and no one has returned my calls.

Desired Outcome

I was promised on an expectation that was grossly overstated and grossly over charged for attic insulation, a water heater blanket and some minor caulking.

The insulation package wasn't installed until November 2018. The customer is comparing the bill from October to the bill in November. It was colder in November than October and as the customer stated their bill didn't increase. That is a win! In our region most homeowners barely use any heating or cooling for most of October so the fact that the bill didn't increase or decrease from October through November and December is evidence to the product being effective.

I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT. I WAS SOLD FAULSE MERCHANDISE. IT IS A HARDSHIP TO PAY FOR A PRODUCT THAT I CANNOT SEE ANY SAVINGS IN IT. We are sorry to hear that the customer is unsatisfied with the product. The customer did state that from September and October time frame into December and January that their power bills did go down. They were just unhappy that they didn't go down as much as they wanted. If the bills went down at all, or even stayed the same from October to January that is a big win. Everyone has much higher power bills due to the cold weather in January than they have in October.

THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE! DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY COME ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR HOME! A contractor from this company came out to my fathers house to try to sell him a new roof. The inside and outside roof was supposed to be replaced because my father had water damage on the inside of his house due to his skylight. They came out and replaced the outside roof but never came back to fix the inside of the house where there was water damage...it has been over a year and they have still NOT fixed it. I swear, my dad calls every week and they have a new excuse as to why they can't come out to fix it. This is crazy! I don't understand how they can even get away with not finishing their job.

the walk in tube is to small for a 325 pound man to use
we had a walk in tub install on 01/24/2018 when it was sold they did not say that you may not fit in the tub the workman ship on the install was not very good they did not repair the damage they did the only person can use it was my 8 year old son then 11/2018 the handle that hold the door close after calling so many times they came out to replace handle and put the wrong one on they have to order one as of 04/28/2019 still not fixed I have been asking for a refund because I can not use the tub they said that is the only tub they sale the people that make the tub do make larger ones I am tired of waiting I just want my 21.750.00 back and this tub removed all of the family been useing the small tub in the other bathroom I need something done asap dealer the installer had my wife sign the paper that it was finsh but it was not it was 2 weeks before the electic was connected they left no paper for the tub or the install have no numbers just a work order no #s on it

I want a refund and the tub removed from my home and I will never do business with them again as far as I see they are the wrose compary I ever delt with

The customer's job was completed per the work order and all work that the customer requested us to complete was completed. Paradise installed the job per the contract that they customer placed with the company. Unfortunately this seems to be a case of buyers remorse.

Didn't replace trim as promised. Filled gaps with caulk instead. One of my windows developed mold inside the window. Spoke to them on the phone and arranged a visit. The contractor stood me. Never called to change times or anything. When I've called to speak with someone about the issue again I'm sent to voicemail and never receive a return call concerning my issue. They do however continue to call about new services.

Refund of deposit has not been processed, after 19 days. No response of phone msgs, or text.
Contract for ventilation work signed on February 27 with Joel, sales rep.
I contacted Joel on March 1, 2 days after the contract was signed. I told him another company evaluated the ventilation as well and what Patadise proposed would not fix the ventilation since my siding went to the attic ceiling. Joel said Paradise would also add the work that would resolve the problem which was fine but I wanted to compare estimates and the other company would not have theirs ready until the following week. I expressed my concern since Paradise has on the back of the contract that it can be canceled within 3 days. Joel said that waiting until next week would be fine.
After receiving the other estimate I decided to go with the other company which would fix the ventilation without doing siding. Since I have plans to add on to this house in a few years I thought doing siding on the soffits at the same time of the new addition would be the best option. I texted Joel on March 7 and called the main office as instructed and got no response from the office until March 8 when I spoke to them to cancel the contract, the financing, and to return the deposit.
Since March 8 I have not gotten any reply to my many messages left at the office. Texted the sales representative for assistance, texted the Manager for assistance with no results to date.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We did refund the customers deposit and we have forwarded the customer a copy of the receipt showing the refund to their credit card. The credit card company did not refund the money to the customers card immediately. We have confirmed that the customer has received the refund.

They installed very expensive gutters for me three yrs ago and they were suppose to keep everything out!! For over a year now I have tried to get them to come back and remove the squirrels that have moved in and to repair the gutters where they are getting in and they HAVE ignored me!!!

Awesome job by Paradise Home Improvement! Rodney and crew did an outstanding job!! Very concerned that they met our expectations l!! And they did!!!!

great service and great windows

I bought a shower from them and it turned out great. sales team was great and so was the installers that came out and did work. will use them again

The sales team was great Andrew and David Were incredible and was a fun experience.
The installer was on time and done in 2 days, everything was done properly and I am very happy.

Victor arrived on time and did a great job removing and installing our new gutters. He hauled away all the old gutters and was very professional. The new gutters look very nice.
