Paul Blanco's Good Car Company Sacramento Reviews (89)

Thank you for the Additional Information.   I have requested that your file from our File Room that is kept off site from Previous Years.   Once I receive the File, we will look at the documentation that was presented to you at the time of sale.  We will then share the information with the Revdex.com and the Consumer.  The process can take up to two weeks so we ask for some time in this matter.   We thank you for your time in this matter and hope to have a solution presented soon.

We would like to start by saying, we are still in the progress of looking into this matter.   We have employees who were involved with this customer,  that we have not spoken to as of yet.  However  THE Check for $4000.00 is Ready for Pick Up at the Front Desk in Sacramento...

Store.I just tried calling [redacted] to let her know this, however, I got her voice mail and I did leave a message. We are taking this complaint very seriously, and will be following up on a statement to the Customer and Revdex.com in a couple of days.

They lie about how many times I came to the dealership I talk to me salesmen which sold me the car about three or four times Then he trun me over to several mangers one try to sale me a late model car with higher payments each time I came there they had a excuse note they told me bring it back in one year we will renegotiate my contact then put with a bank that doesn't renegotiate it contact

Hello Ms. [redacted] For this matter a timeline is appropriate: ·         10/11/2016 – Date of sale on your 2015 Nissan Altima with Paul [redacted]’s Good Car Company (“Paul [redacted]”). ·         10/17/2016 – You owed a regularly scheduled payment on your previous loan with [redacted] in the amount of $352.50 for your 2010 Dodge Charger. ·         10/20/2016 – The 2015 Nissan Altima loan with Flagship Credit Acceptance was funded. ·         10/21/2016 – Pay offs are not made until loans are funded. The next day, after your loan was funded, the payoff check was cut to pay off the [redacted] loan. ·         11/3/2016 – You called [redacted] to verify the payoff amount and were told it was due November 17, 2016. At this point, your October 17, 2016 payment still had not been paid. ·         November to early December – Various emails and communication with Tom Pham and [redacted]. You were informed the check was cut on 10/21/2016. ·         11/22/2016 – Ms. [redacted] called [redacted], and the representative she spoke with filled out a missing payment report. ·         12/8/2016 – Paul [redacted] cut a second check in the amount of $9,001.93. ·         12/16/2016 – Payment received and marked as paid off by [redacted]. This is 29 days after the November 17, 2016 date. A payment 29 days late would not show up on your credit report; however, since you did not make your October 17, 2016 payment before your deal funded), the loan shows it the account was past due for a longer period of time. ·         12/29/2016 – I called to verify payment was received. The representative, [redacted], assisted me. He confirmed payment was received 12/16/2016. He also noted, that from their end, the [ay off was to be made by you. Even though Paul [redacted] made the payment he stated that based on their notes, you were responsible for submitting the pay off and that, “you [Paul [redacted]] have nothing to do with this, from our end it looks like you were doing the customer a favor.” I asked if we could write a letter on behalf of you, the customer, and he stated that you would need to call Customer Service at: 888.222.4227. Further, he stated that you would need to contact the Credit Bureau to make your dispute, that Paul [redacted] could not do so your behalf. He noted that it looked as though you already began the process. He reiterated that you never made the regularly scheduled 10/17/2016 payment, and that if it had been made the pay off received 29 days later from Paul [redacted] would not have affected your credit report. At this point we can confirm that your pay off was received. In regards to your credit score, based on information from [redacted], you should pursue with a dispute with the Credit Bureau. If you would like, Paul [redacted] is willing to write a letter for you to submit to the Credit Bureau. Thank you for allowing us to shed light on this matter. Sincerely, [redacted]

Dear Mr. **,  Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Upon further research, it was discovered that you were in fact informed that your 2015 [redacted] Sentra had been in an accident where the damage was in excess of $750. Your signatures are located in various areas on the [redacted]...

I am in receipt of the documents you sent out company as they related to Revdex.com complaint #[redacted]. Thank you for your attention in this matter.I have reviewed then as well as all in house company records that pertain to your purchase. Document (1) is the Carfax report which we pull on vehicles we intend to present for sale. The report you sent is dated 4-9-2012 which would have been the date you purchased the vehicle from us. It shows the data collected on that vehicl that has been reported through that date. And appears to be the carfax report presented to you at time of purchase. Among the pertinent data would be the fact that the vehicle had been damaged in an accident and it was sold to our company at auction on March 26, 2012.Document (2) is California DMV form #REG 256 (Statement of Facts)This form shows we disclosed to you that the vehicle you were purchasing had sustained frame damage and or structural damage which was subsequently required. And such damage and repair was disclosed to you, the buyer. The Particular vehicle you purchased was Safety and Smog inspected by our shop. In our continuing effort to deliver quality vehicles we not only inspect but we purchase (A) carfax (B) invites and (C) Autocheck so we can pass on as much reliable and updated information as is possible to our buyers. And the information yielded by those tolls is disclosed. Rest assured your continuing happiness with your purchase from us is paramount, so in that spirit we would like to offer you a $250. "Good Will gesture" check. Thank you again for being our customer.

Thank You for your Positive Response.   This has been read by the owners, Mr and Mrs [redacted] as well as the General Manager at Our Sacramento location.   We are apologize for the handling of your purchase,  there was some miscommunication on our part and we are in the process...

of writing a letter to the Customer and Revdex.com.We will be sending this in the next 3 days to the Consumer thru the Revdex.com.

I am rejecting this response because: I WAS NOT TOLD THE CARD WOULD BE CHARGED AND DID NOT EVEN SIGN THE CARD AUTHORIZATION UNTIL DAYS AFTER THE PURCHASE WAS MADE. IT WAS NOT SIGNED OR REVIEWED AT TIME OF PURCHASE. CHECK YOUR RECORDS AND THE DATE OF THE SIGNATURE. IT WAS EMAILED TO ME AND I HAD THE CARD OWNER SIGN IT. THE CARD THAT IS USED WOULD NOT EVEN ALLOW A CHARGE FOR THAT AMOUNT AS IT HAS A DAILY LIMIT OF $200 FOR [redacted] PURCHASES. THE SALESPERSON, [redacted], EVEN OFFERED TO MAKE THE FIRST PAYMENT FOR US. WHEN I CALLED BACK AS WE RECIEVED A LETTER STATING THAT WE NEEDED TO RETURN THE VEHICLE AS THE FINANCING WAS NOT SUFFICIENT (EVEN THOUGH THE BANK HAD COMPLETED AND APPROVED THE LOAN) I SPOKE WITH A MAN WHO I HAVE REFERENCED IN PREVIOUS CORRESPONDENCE (CAN NOT REMEMBER HIS NAME WHILE TYPING THIS-BIGGER BLACK MAN) THAT STATED PAYMENTS WERE ALWAYS ACCEPTED AND THAT HE HAD NEVER HEARD OF THIS ONE TIME CHARGE BEFORE. PAUL BLANCOS SACRAMENTO TAKES ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE AND IS COMPLETELY GUILTY OF BAIT AND SWITCH. IT IS A REALLY SHADY BUSINESS AND THEY REALLY SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FURTHER. I WILL MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS OF THE SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES AND THAT NO ONE I KNOW EVER SHOPS THERE. Its a wonder they are still in business and that the Revdex.com has even accredited them. I HAVE LOST ALL FAITH IN THEM AND GOD FORBID THE CAR HAS AN ISSUE, WILL GLADLY PAY SOMEONE TO FIX IN INSTEAD OF USING THE "REQUIRED" WARRANTY. YOU DONT HAVE THIS MANY COMPLAINTS AND ISSUES FOR RUNNING A LEGIT BUSINESS.

I am rejecting this response because: I dont want hear anything else from Paul Blanco. I am in the process of forming a lawsuit against them. Have a nice day.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We have sent payment to Bay Area Fastrak. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist you.  Sincerely, [redacted]Director of Operation/CFO

I am rejecting this response because: This complaint is to do with the information I was given by YOUR salesman at the time of my transaction - in 2012. I was advised that making 9 months of consecutive payments, on time, would qualify me for a refinance. As mentioned, I am now "upside down" with a 21% interest rate through [redacted], that your dealership assigned to me, and [redacted] will not refinance their loans, and didn't even at the time I was sold the car. I was lied to, in order to purchase the car. Now you're asking me to trade in my upside down vehicle (I owe $18k on the car, and it's worth $11k).

Service has been scheduled with Mr. [redacted] via the Bureau of Automotive Repair. He has an appointment for Monday, December 18th. He will receive a loaner vehicle for the duration for his service.  Sincerely, [redacted]Executive Assistant to Chief Financial Officer

Mr. [redacted], we have been forthright with the information we provided you, our safety procedures, and our knowledge of the vehicle history prior to your purchase. We would like to resolve your concerns as best we can and right this situation for you. Please allow us to assist you by taking the vehicle back in trade and putting you into a newer vehicle that suits your needs, budget and your liking.

I am rejecting this response...

Company states: Please see the statement of facts signed by the consumer showing that everything was disclosed to the consumer and signed.

According to our records, your car was registered and had tags at the time of sale. The dealership fees incurred to re-order new tags were not included in the contract amount of your purchase. However, we do understand that at this point, there is no logical way for either of us to prove our point. Therefore, if you would please let us know a date and time you're available to return to the dealership, we will have you sign a form (Reg 156) authorizing us to request duplicate tags on your behalf. We will then pay the $20 fee and submit the request. Thank you for being a valued Paul Blanco's Good Car Company customer. We truly appreciate your business. Sincerely,[redacted]Escalated Customer Service Manager

I also want to add to my report that I was sent a registration form saying that the car was re registered and so it is to knowledge that someone is driving the car. They car has not been switched out of my name from what I was told by dmv but it is current on registration. I would also like to get...

this resolved as well. Thank you.
This company needs to do the investigation and because of the hassle and the miscommunication they been having to stop mailing me surrender notice when they towed their own car and to drop this claim. please and thank you.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Thank you very much.

Ms. [redacted],Please keep in mind that lender approvals do not depend solely on the vehicle and what you owe. Lenders also carefully assess your financial circumstances with each loan application. After two years of timely payments, you should be in a much better position with regard to your financial credit standing. However, it is difficult for us to surmise your financial circumstances together with the value of the vehicle and what you owe on it without first interviewing you for your current budget and transportation needs and assessing your current financial circumstances. Our program is designed to assist you with this. Please allow us to assist you with this process and help you trade your vehicle in for another vehicle that meets your needs and budget through our Sacramento dealership. If you will allow us to assist you, we will contact and help you set up and appointment.

Mr. [redacted] purchased a 2005 GMC Envoy almost 5 years ago on November 17, 2011. We have only one record of Mr. [redacted] having come back to visit us on December 11, 2012. During his visit, our salesman reviewed Mr. [redacted]' credit profile and financial circumstances and logged a...

note in our CRM (customer retention management system) as follows:Upon re-assessing Mr. [redacted]' financing options, the make, model, miles, and condition of his vehicle brought $6000 less market value than he owed on his auto loan. Mr. [redacted] would have needed to make up the difference to cover the negative equity still owed on his current auto loan. If Mr. [redacted] had enough down payment to cover this, we could have helped trade him out of his vehicle and into a newer model vehicle. As for what the payments might have been - that would depend on the price of the newer vehicle and the terms of the lender's approval and risk assessment.Unfortunately, there is no way to predict what a future market value of a vehicle might be. Market values are dependent on a number of factors in addition to demand trends: year, make, model, miles, and the overall condition of the vehicle. While year, make, and model are essential triggers for wholesale buying trends, the number of miles put on the vehicle together with what kind of condition the customer keeps the vehicle in are dependent on the customer. Each of these factors can account for variances in market price.Paul Blanco's "Fresh Start" program aims to help customers with challenged credit obtain loan financing that they otherwise may not be able to obtain through traditional financing. After regular, timely payments on one of our affordable, reliable vehicles, a customer's credit score should improve and qualify the customer for a lower interest rate in as little as a year's time - all else being equal. While a customer's credit score may vary up and down depending on his or her life style and past credit history, car payments can make a substantial positive impact to drive the customer's credit score up.Please note however that we cannot control other financial circumstances affecting credit such as bankruptcies, additional open auto loans, delinquent mortgage payments or child support, for example that may negatively impact the customer's credit profile. The only way to determine a customer's creditworthiness is to do a fresh assessment of a customer's financial circumstances and credit standing at any one given point in time. We encourage our customers to come back after a year's worth of timely loan payments. We believe this is a good benchmark point in time to as significant enough progress with regard to credit standing to make a positive difference in a customer's financing options. We welcome Mr. [redacted] to allow us to assess where he currently stands with regard to his transportation needs and any factors impacting his credit profile over the last 3 years since we saw him last. This will allow us to help Mr. [redacted] understand what his financing options are at this point in time.If Mr. [redacted] is open to exploring his options currently, our customer service manager will be happy to contact him this week to help set him up with an appointment at our Sacramento dealership.
