Re: [redacted] ***Case: [redacted] Thank you for your inquiry regarding [redacted] Paychex takes complaints from our clients very seriously, and we appreciate the opportunity to assist in the resolution of any disputes that may occur[redacted] filed a complaint disputing an audit balance due of $4,on its workers' compensation insurance policy for the term of November 18, – November 18, The funds are due on the account for several reasons including:• Estimated wages that were understated• six endorsements from the carrier to retroactively change rates, and• an experience modification with an anniversary rating date in the middle of the policy period, which led to additional endorsements that changed the rates used for collections. We collect and remit estimated premium payments on behalf of the client regularly throughout the yearAfter an audit at the end of the plan period, the carrier determines if there is additional premium due, or if a credit is due to the clientThe collections are based on a calculation that incorporates estimated annual wages, state surcharges/credits and correct classification of employees.Much of our client's complaint is due to the discrepancy of rates between [redacted] manual rate and Paychex Insurance Agency's composite rateThese rates will never equalThe composite rate, which is part of the program, takes state surcharges and credits into considerationDue to the multiple endorsements and experience modification changes mid policy, we are working with the carrier toward the insured's recommended solution of an adjustment to reflect zero owed to [redacted] on this policy term.If you have further questions, please contact me at ###-###-####, extor [redacted] .Sincerely,Jess L***Supervisor PIA P&C

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowRegards, [redacted] These are statements in regards to what has happened on my accountEllie the account manager who responded to my Revdex.com claim has failed to do anything to assist me and now she is making claims on my behalf Since this issue has been going on since August 21, I have NEVER been contacted by Paychex in regards to a levy on my accountI had to contact Paychex MYSELF on September 12,once I received a notice in regards to the taxes that were due to an error made on Paychex behalfMy concern is if that they were aware of my issues way before I was then why was no resolution done to assist me or at least alert me to handle everything on my ownThis is totally unacceptable I will now be taking legal actions due to the allegations provided by the company

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Ms [redacted] does not accurately describe the situationShe states, “Once identified, Paychex refunded Mr [redacted] ' account.” What actually happened is that Paychex denied having made the mistake for almost a year & in doing so, caused my bookkeeper, [redacted] to waste a minimum of hours or his time attempting to straighten out the mess caused by Paychex[redacted] was forced to send repeated e-mails with varying Paychex reps, all of whom denied at varying times that the error was Paychex’sHe even had a conference call with several Paychex reps none of whom did their job correctly.Mr [redacted] makes $45/hour which translates to $This amount does not include the amount of time that I personally as well as [redacted] **, the [redacted] manager spent dealing with thisI estimate conservatively the cost at a minimum of $750.The other issue that must be raised is to wonder how many other Paychex clients have been unknowingly subjected to similar unethical & possibly illegal behaviorShould they be made to disclose this publicly so that all of their clients can look through their accounts?I would expect Paychex to at least refund that amount + an additional amount for the extended aggravation due to their repeated (deliberate?) incompetence & inattention to the situationThey should refund all of their fees from at the very least I am attaching some of the many e-mails & a letter that [redacted] sent to the varying Paychex reps try to attempt to rectify the mess.Sincerely, [redacted]
