The cancellation policy that you mention is posted at multiple places, I am guessing, is well known and available to Payless managers and employees as well before they agree to refund for early returnsAttached is the receipt I was handed when I returned the car and I expect you to honor it along with the associated damages.

STAY Away from this company!!! I sent the below message to give them the opportunity to make things right and it's been a week with NO RESPONSE!! It only supports the statement below
I rented a economy car for four days that SHOULD HAVE ONLY COST ME 40+/- per day plus taxes I had a reservation with Enterprise but upon my 10:pm , scheduled arrival was told they had no cars Your company was the ONLY ONE with any cars Your employer told me it would normally be PER DAY for an economy car but he'd reduce the price to a TOTAL CHARGE OF PER DAY (including taxes) I did NOT WANT ANY OF THE INSURANCES OR EXTRA COVERAGES...he refused to rent without saying he'd charge me the per day otherwise He stated they were a part of the I said I did NOT understand how an economy car would cost so much I had a luxury SUV rental scheduled for per day I was tired after five days of little sleep and couldn't dispute any further Then I did not receive a final copy of my receipt and discovered that I ended up paying close to PER DAY!! I feel that I should receive a refund for the price difference for what I was charged and YOUR WEB PRICING OF per day A credit amount of PER DAY FOR THE AMOUNT OF $ IF, I do not hear from you within hours with a resolution and agreement of said refund I will take further actions of notifying EVERY social media, news outlet, attorney General and any other appreciate agency SHAME ON YOUR COMPANY FOR ADVANTAGE OF A DISABLED VET...OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER IN SUCH A HORRIBLE WAY!!!

Hired *** *** and Alpha Roofing and Construction to repair a leak in our roof and take out and replace drywall in garage and family roomSigned a contract and gave *** $700.00,half of $1,the job would cost usThey came out to see what material they would need for the roofCame back a few days later with a chalk gun and sealant and said the roof was fixedThree weeks went by we hadn't received a call or text from *** about doing the inside workWe texted him and ask when the inside work would be done? His drywall man came out days laterHe cut a hole in the ceiling in the garage and I ask him to remove the drywallHe didn't and he removed the drywall in the family room where we found active termitesOur exterminators came out and told us that we could use our contractors pay them and be reimbursed or use the contractors they had and not owe anythingI called *** and he was aware how this worked but I told him I was leaning toward having our exterminator handle it

No the police were not involved because when I first spoke to the operations manager, he said that he would try to ha e the sunglasses reimbursedHe then, after I repeatedly called him, finally answered and said no they would do nothingI am trying to speak to the regional manager which will not
return my callsI have left messages and also reached out to customer service online which has done nothingThis occurrence was back in JanuaryI asked to see surveillance and they never complied with any of my requestsThis is a last resort to make it known that this business or lack there of should not be used by anyone

All of the daily charges for the optional service are clearly outlined on the rental agreement at the time the customer initials and signs the agreement, and we can only assume that since the rental agreement was signed, the customer was aware of the charges. In the effort to provide excellent customer service, we will refund 1/2 of the optional supplemental liability coverage of $156.75 in the amount of $78.37 as onetime courtesy to the customer. Please allow 7-10 business days for processing.

Deceptive business practice, hiding the acceptance of supplemental insurance within 7 other line items for declining optional insurances, then telling consumer to initial all...without ever mentioning the one line item for agreeing to supplemental insurance. I specifically requested of the counter agent that I did not want any optional insurances as my credit card covers all of that. He deceptively circled and asked me to initial all line items with the acceptance line item hidden within all the declines. Lied to and deceived.

Take the bus or walk before you rent from Payless Car Rental!!! This company is absolutely horrible! I have rented from them twice, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, and both times I had significant issues. The rental vehicles were substandard, I was charged more than originally quoted both times (and by significant amounts), and I am currently waiting (for over 60 days now) on a refund for erroneous overpayment. Customer service at the counter is great, but don't expect to receive anything more than a canned statement when you attempt to work with the online help desk. I'm gravely disappointed with this company and certainly want to save anyone else looking for a rental car the hassle of dealing with them!

Horrible company. Waited over 40 minutes in line at the counter. Upon returning my car I brought it back completely full of gas. Get an email stating I was charged a pre paid fuel charge of $23 which I never agreed to.

I contacted customer support, which gave me the run around and still won't refund me my money. They want you to provide all your gas receipts which is unheard of and ridiculous. They won't even acknowledge that I never agreed to the pre paid fuel charge in the first place.

Quoted my price on priceline.com as $103, and ended up charging me $130.

Nearly 30% more than their advertised price.

I am rejecting this response because:
My insurance co [redacted],  claim # [redacted] reviewed the pictures of the damaged auto and reviewed the cost of repair with Payless car rental - [redacted].  [redacted] Claims  ###-###-####. They concluded the cost of the repairs were overpriced and unwarranted.  They refused to pay and was willing to represent me in court, due to their findings, but Payless stated they didnt want to go to court.  And the credit card co I paid the $500 deduct with stated they would pay the loss of use fees if Payless supplied their fleet loss statement, and payless refused to supply this.  My insurance co paid the correct amount for the repairs and the damages payless is charging me is incorrect.
