Paylink took $114.83 per month for 2 years from my 88 year old mother's bank account for an auto service contract my mom neither needed nor authorized. I contacted Paylink and was told the payments were for a 4 year vehicle service contract on my my mom's 2004 year old car. I was taken aback as my mom was disabled and this car just sat in the yard. I disputed the contract and was told to contact True Auto Protection. When I contacted True Auto, their agent stated that there was a verbal contract with my mom. However, when asked for dealers that would service the car, they acknowledged that there were no local dealers that would honor this bogus contract, therefore it was impossible for such a contract to be valid. There was no valid contract! This was nothing more than a scam on an elderly. Furthermore, my mom was disabled and not mentally or physically able to understand such a thing. And, her old car just sat in the yard, so she clearly did not need such a service. Not only did these crooks take advantage of my mom, but they stole her social security money, as this was her source of income. This business has clearly taken advantage of my mom's age and state of confusion through predatory business practices and billing. Unbelievable! These are predators that feed on the fear and confusion of the elderly, forgetting that one day they'll be wearing the same shoes. God help them! This kind of exploitation of our seniors and loved ones has to stop. Paylink is the company that took the money from my mom's account. Therefore, Paylink is responsible for refunding that money. I am livid! I won't rest until this is fixed.

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I would like to receive, in writing, an explanation for the intentionally misleading or information supplied multiple times by Paylink. Upon request, I am more than happy to supply the dates on which I was personally dealt with in an unsatisfactory manner, as well as emails to the dealership in which information was presented as true. Regardless of what a companies policies are on refund timing/communication, a promise/guarantee should be upheld, rather than used to placate the customer in the short term. I have received my refund, almost a full months after the request, and while the turnaround was disappointing, it is understandable. intentionally misrepresenting information is not understandable and companies that do so should be held accountable
Sincerely,
*** ***

I am rejecting this response because:This company did nothing to protect me from paying the mechanic the money that I had to pay for my car to be fixed. So the $I paid every month for nothing, I want it back. Not Prorated as if they covered anythingfrom the time I should have been covered. They misrepresented themselves and said they will fix my vehicle and they did not. My mechanic can send you proof of all the calls and correspondence they made him waist his time. He was very upset for the fact that they mad him do a whole bunch of stuff for nothing, to continue denying the services that my car need. This company should be stopped. They are lucky that I am not asking for car rental and also for the towing of my vehicle to the mechanic. If they would have done what they was supposed to I would have not gone through all the inconveniences I had to go through. You do not do that to people. This company should be stopped.
Sincerely,
*** ***
