I used this company for an interstate move My items were delayed by a month and delivered in multiple shipments without any regard for this I hired this company for an interstate move They packed my home on 6/26- They loaded the items on 6/ My delivery window was 7/2-7/ I was given no updates so on 7/I reached out to them and was redirected to the truck driver who told me he would not make it in time and was told my items were going into storage Movers arrived on 7/and after unloading several things said "We don't think we have all your stuff." As this was a Saturday I contacted the local office on Monday who could not explain why things were missing but realized that the remaining items were still at the local office After calling daily for updates the things were finally loaded and I received another delivery on 7/ Again after unloading a few things I was told they didn't think they had all my things Again I called the local office who discovered the

Allied Van Lines lost, destroyed, damaged and lied to us all the way through the move from Locust Grove Georgia to Vero Beach Florida They lied from the beginning and have caused us so much trouble The first thing that happen is a wedding ring came up missing [redacted] and [redacted] told us not to worry all their employees were bonded and for us to wait until we unpacked that they were sure the ring would show up They led us to believe that if the ring didn't show up our insurance would pay for it We upgraded all of the insurance I told the packer NOT to touch anything in the dresser until I returned to the room He paid no attention and when I came back I opened the drawer and asked him why the touched that piece of furnitureHe had moved everything into different boxes We unpacked and could not find the ring I immediately contacted [redacted] They stated not to worry They lost so much of our belongings that it is unreal I packed chemicals that wer

We hired movers and packers for a move from Atlanta, GA to Raleigh, NCThe service and quality of service promised was not what was provided We hired movers and packers for a move from Atlanta, GA to Raleigh, NC beginning The packing and moving was very stressful and we hired "professionals" to minimize stress We have two young children so minimizing stress was our ultimate goal [redacted] Smith was very professional the entire time and made great promises, but then I felt like the execution of everything was completely the opposite of what we were told, which seemed misleading I have spoke to people at Coleman and they basically told me that they provided a service and there was nothing they could do Issues with Packing and Moving Packing April - people arrived to our home in Atlanta on April (Packing day) They were to pack our entire home and my mother-in-laws condo - of the packers told us it was their first day They were not preparedThey didn

Coleman Worldwide Moving should do a better customer service, as well as do a better moving job I recently moved from Houston to OKC in Dec, when I got to OKC , their company driver that picks up from Houston and drove to OKC as well as movers in OKC who they hired just dump everything in the living room, with sofa topsy turvy , I had to pay the driver again to come back the following day and did not even complete the jobHe left several boxes downstair as he said its too heavy for him It was the worst moved I have in my life and I had moved a lotA real moving company should deliver the boxes to the appropriate rooms and set down the sofa and not pile on top of each otherIt was a fire hazard, inconvenient and very very stressfulI complain to Allied and was told it was Coleman fault and Coleman said this is how they move people just dump everything and file boxes haphazardly including sofaI gave one star as mover in the houston side was professional but the Oklahoma City side was very unprofessional, arguing with the customersColeman does not even apologize to how things were handled and does not even compensate for inconvenience, sofa that got ruin as it was just dump literally

Two items were damaged during shipping Allied Van lines did not offer settlement based on actual damage Inventory item #- Plymouth Auto engine was dropped when loading The settlement offer did not address the internal damaged done when dropped Inventory item #- Plymouth Auto engine (high value inventory $8000.00) was suffered external damage and possible internal damage One appraiser that looked at both items, indicated a professional engine rebuilding shop would be needed to determine damage The other appraiser that looked at both items, did not address the internal damage on either item and only appraised the external (visible) damage in the settlement offer To resolve the claim, both inventory items would require a professional engine rebuilder to remove heads, pan etcto inspect for internal damage I found a professional that would charge $per item to inspect Allied Van lines would not pay to have this inspection done or offer an alternati

Coleman screws over military families, losing crates of beloved items and not holding anyone accountable or reimbursing for missing essentials Coleman takes advantage of military families for their own profit, accepting more military moves than they are equipped to handle, leaving families stranded for weeks-monthsWhen the Household Goods finally arrive, it is common to find entire crates missing, items destroyed beyond repair due to lack of accountability, and sometimes items are even reported stolen After our recent PCS (GBL number [redacted] ), we received 75% of our things, more or less, about 3+ weeks laterAt origin destination ( [redacted] ), multiple things were done incorrectly and against company policy during our June move-out: - No inventory done prior to packing, resulting in poorly labeled inventory ("box" or "tote" rather than names for items inside) - families later cannot prove what's missing; - Head person in charge on moving day refused to list more t

Contracted military PCS move from Coleman Hawaii did not finish on time resulting in me paying additional rent and causing mental distress I had a contracted military PCS move scheduled for May 17,& to support me flying off the island of Oahu on the 22ndOf the days scheduled Coleman Hawaii movers only showed up on the 18th with one worker and did not finish packingThis resulted in the move not being executed in timeI attempted to call several times over the weekend of the 20th and 21st of May and was told that alot of people had to move outThis left me in an extreme situation as I had to move out of my house and fly out on the 22nd with my household goods not packedThe movers eventually showed up on the afternoon of the 22nd too late for me to move out on timeThis resulted in me being penalized $for an extra day of rentI am demanding that Coleman Movers compensate me due to them breaching their contract

Unfairly overcharged for cross country move Company unwilling to honor initial estimate On 12/1/I received an estimate for moving items from VA to CAI was sent a written estimate from Nick for $4,for 4,pounds of goods to be moved Shortly before the move I wanted to add a few more items and called Nick to describe the items I then received another estimate for $5,for 5,pounds of goods to be movedAt the time I thought it was high given the items I added but signed because the move was a few days away Upon completion of my move to CA, I have documentation of the final weight of my move being 4,lbs ( which is very close to the first estimate I was given and grossly overestimated in the second estimate.) Coleman America charged me $5,stating a discount from the second estimate My issue is that my move total was just 40lbs over the initial estimate I feel I was honest enough to call and make them aware of the additional items I wante

Excessive moving charges without final receipt Coleman said: I must ask that you provide full payment preauthorization for the difference of $1, This amount will only be pre-authorized and will be pending until the driver submits his documents This is standard procedure and if in fact the packing of the mirror cartons has changed, it will reflect in the driver's documents, and your balance will be adjusted accordingly Driver's documents have not yet been submitted Coleman went ahead and charged me the without providing the final driver's documents I asked for the driver's document but they never sent it and never replied That amount is in addition to the original estimate of $ The original weight estimate was for lbsI had to add more stuff to be moved which increased the estimated weight by 19.76% to a second estimate of lbs Yet, the 1,that they added was 26% of the original $It does not make sense that the percent i

My experience with Coleman Allied has been a nightmare, from beginning to end! My family just relocated from FL to GA Before our move, my husband solicited quotes from professional moving companies for a few reasons: we had accumulated quite a bit of personal belongings since our last move, my husband didn't want to have to load and unload the contents himself, and we wanted to ensure that our items did not incur damage The rep that came to do out quote was very professional and well-spoken, and in the end, we chose to do business with Allied Van Lines That was the end of our positive experience The day of the move, a 16ft box truck arrives We had reserved a semi After waiting around for hours hoping for a resolution, we finally agree to let them load our belongings As expected, we had a lot of overflow We were told that a second truck would come the next morning at 8:00am to finish gathering and loading our things Well, the next day at 4pm, the driver ca

Complaint about ability to meet desired timeline Contract GBL # [redacted] Moving Manager: [redacted] Order was placed and household goods were picked up but box #1, utility box, was left at the original location and I had to pack it in my personal vehicle to move myselfHousehold goods were to be delivered by JulyI received no contact from the moving company until July and, after numerous calls, got a person at the company to research my GBL and discover it was still in Alabama and had not been transported After speaking to the company, I informed them that I was starting my civilian career in July and could not accept deliveryMy partner could accept the delivery on any day except WednesdayThe representative says the only day they could deliver was July or else my household goods will be sent to storage for future delivery late August/early September The company broke the contract that was advertised as being able to complete delivery and resulted in si

Coleman Allied were paid high bucks instead they handled my households disrespectfully: lost, broke, scratched many items, delivered my furniture wet On July 14, I hired Coleman moving services through the broker [redacted] that promised a unique moving experienceThe day of the truck loading at the origen place in [redacted] , TN, the truck and crew showed up hours lateThen the broker [redacted] changed the storage facility to ***, Flinstead of [redacted] , TnThe big surprise came on September 21, when the deliver crew unloaded my household: to begin with the tool box #disappeared with all the screws, nuts and bolts to assembly my furnitureColeman have to hired a third party to came and assembly my tables and it took a couple of days Secondly, many boxes and furniture items such as the sofas, chairs and others were dumped Third, many furniture were scratched and/or broken: the hutch, the china cabinet (broken and scratched), buffet (leg broken), ceramic vases

I have an overall good experience moving from New Orleans to Chicago this year Pros: Pricing stayed the same Not one glass/decorative item was broken Aaron R [redacted] and Joan A [redacted] (in NOLA) were professional and answered questions patiently Cons: The couch wasn't wrapped at all for the move - so it need some cleaning on delivery A couple of low value book shelves were broken in transit Again, overall a pleasant experienceIt would be great to have an estimate of packing time since it took until 10PM for packing day

Our items were delivered damaged and were not properly valued during claims processWe have $in damage and they offered $ Items were delivered damaged and unusable Our Tv and Antique decor were high value and now are uselessOur dishes were expensive china wear and our decor was of high valueThey are requesting a payment $but they ruined our personal belongings!

Coleman moved me from Texas to ColoradoThey did not deliver some shelves that fit my bookcases, but I did not know that when I signed the bill of lading after delivery (who can review the thousand individual part numbers delivered?)of shelves were not delivered and they refuse to cover them because I signedNEVER sign off -- wait months if you must -- because they'll screw you royally

Carrier altered documents after signed by shipper, driver completed Inventory Tally Sheet without input from shipper, over-charged for packing Complaint involves a move from South Carolina to Ohio in August of Carrier added numbers to the Addendum to Bill of Lading & Freight Bill after the document signed by shipper; Charges for more boxes "Carrier Packed" than numbers reported on Household Good Descriptive Inventory sheets; Numbers for items delivered on Inventory Tally Sheets completed by driver without input from shipper differ from those checked by shipper upon delivery (and Inventory Tally Sheets not provided to shipper until several months after the move and noted that several items that never left the origin were delivered); insurance claim denied on the basis of these incorrect Inventory Tally Sheets; Coleman/ [redacted] has not responded to phone calls, emails, and certified letters inquiring about these issues and/or requesting additional information
