This company damaged every wall of my house and broke the pavement in my driveway and refuses to do anything about it The movers showed up with a crew of men to move my entire houseThey came at noon and left around 10pmWhen they backed the truck into my driveway, I heard a loud crack and saw the truck in the drainage ditch next to my drivewayI came out to see if they broke part of the driveway, but he threw down a big sheet of metal to cover up the damage and assured me the noise I heard was just the metal falling out of the truck The man providing documents was extremely pushy about getting my signature on some forms, and before explaining the forms or doing a final walkthrough of the house with me like the form stated, he literally snatched up all the papers and ran out of the doorI thought he was coming back to do a walkthrough, but they left in a hurryI looked at the driveway where he laid the metal sheet down, and sure enough there was a lot of my driveway crumblin

My furniture was not picked up or delivered on timeWhen furniture was delivered many pieces were broken and torn up Terrible customer service My furniture was to be picked up 9/Driver arrived and stated he couldn't take my stuff because the truck was fullSo instead of calling it in, he showed up to my house with a full truck saying well I cant take your stuff today We were on the phone for several hours trying to figure out what we were gong to do Well finally, it was decided that a truck would come on 9/and load up my belongings Since pickup didn't happen when promised, I was told that my stuff would be stored in a warehouse for a few days until they could get it deliveredOn 10-3-16, I received a text saying that all my furniture didn't make it on the truck and that my delivery would be made in shipments, which was not part of the agreement Days turned in to a weekOn 10-3-only half of my furniture was put on a truck because again, truck had no roomDa

days past the promised delivery date, and refusing to pay the promised reimbursements Delivered days late past the guaranteed delivery date, lied when they would answer the phone about where the furniture was and when it would be delivered, promised reimbursement for lodging, food and incidentals directly related to the delay Have now refused the reimbursement We requested a refund of part of the 10,paid due to the dishonest service, and were denied

Excessive damage and missing items!! Over items damaged and missing from a simple move from the Atlanta, Ga area to the Augusta GA area!! Items seemed to be wrapped and packed correctly as they were loaded onto the truck in Fayetteville, Ga Packers were very polite and items seemed to be cared for Once they left my house all the damage occurred Items were unwrapped and unpacked at the warehouse Chairs that were wrapped when they left my house were unwrapped and stacked on top of one another in the shipping crate when they arrived Both dining room tables were extensively scratched while in transport Both table were loaded into the shipping containers without being wrapped or protected Both tables, chairs and bench will all have to be refinished or replaced now Also, some of our items were taken out of boxes with our name and markings on them and packed into boxes from other moves So we ended up getting our items packed in boxes with different last names and descriptions written on them This was a nightmare when trying to inventory what was coming off the truck because the inventory tags were different colors and different numbers Some boxes we never received and other box numbers we had duplicates of We took pictures of EVERYTHING!!! As the movers were unloading these shipping containers crammed full of our unwrapped and damaged good we were taking pictures and documenting everything Side note: The movers at both ends were extremely polite and professional I bought pizzas for them during packing and the unpacking days because they were so great!! Its the warehouse and/or transportation that caused all the damage Now I have a garage full of damaged and broken furniture that I cant throw away because I have filed a claim and am waiting on the payment and I have already had to go buy all this new furniture to replace what was broken So not only am I out of pocket thousands of dollars but cant park in my garage either When I contacted Coleman to see what the process was they advised me that they could only pay out $as an in house claim and that I would have to file a full claim and wait for any type of reimbursement $would not even cover ONE of the dressers or ONE of the dinning room tables that had been damaged This was a Military contracted move so all paperwork and documents have been submitted along with pictures Waiting on someone to contact me with information on how to expedite payment If you use Coleman be ready to photograph the shipping containers as they are opened on the truck and your broken items are off loaded No idea how many of my items were damaged because I stopping counting and claiming once I got to I would love for someone who has any information on my claims to contact me!

We had goods which were delivered broken to our houseColeman refused to reimburse even with a zero deductible insurance policy We recently used Coleman to move intrastateContract date 6/10/2017, initial pick up date 7/13/The company knew we were doing a stop drop off (storage unit and home) but encouraged us to buy a more expensive ($563) zero deductible insurance plan sold by [redacted] During our move (7/13-15/2017), we had goods which were damaged during the move to a storage unit and to our new home Items damaged include a [redacted] ( [redacted] , purchase 1/8/@ $234),a crib (Graco crib base, purchased 6/15/@$125), and a trash can (HomeZone 45-Liter Stainless Steel Rectangular Step Trash Can )The chiminea and crib were delivered to our house, while the trash can was delivered to the storage unitUpon arrival at the home, the moving crew tried to hide that the chiminea was broken and even tried to drive off with itHowever, when w

issues with moving company and with movers! We had went with this company due to my father being very sick, who has recently passed awayThe moving experience was a total nightmareThe movers were supposed to shrink wrap our furniture and then wrap heavy blankets on our stuff, they didn'tThis box isn't going to be enough to explainWhat all happenedThe movers literally packed fragile thing very poorly, and caused damage to a bunch of our furnitureNot only that, they said that they couldn't take the doors off of the refrigerator to get it moved into it's locationThen they left all of the boxes in the driveway and also left all of the big furniture in the house in piecesMy son and I had to move everything on to the back porch because they just left everything on the drivewayWe have pictures of everything that was doneThe drivers dropped off everything and then just drove off, without us signing for anything As soon as that happened we immediately called the guy who se

I am hoping to just save other from the same experience I had with Allied Please do not use this company for your moving needs! If I could rate them negative stars if I would If you want to know the horrible details of my move, please read on The first day they were scheduled to show at am and didn't show up until 1pm I had to reach out to them to see where they were and not until I did this did they show up That night they left one of my pricey oriental rugh out in the front porch It would have been ruined if I left it out so I struggled to get it back in the house Before they left they informed me they would be back at am the next morning They didn't show until am the next day I had to reach out to get them to come back even though the job was scheduled for two days The second day they didn't finish moving all the furniture They said they would be back the next day to finish up They never showed! So again I had to reach out to them They arranged for different movers to come back the next day They said they would be there around 2pm When no one showed by pm, I reached out again Finally they sent some movers The movers they sent refused to move the remaining furniture as they said it was too big and they didn't have enough guys (guys were sent) even though the company was made aware of what was remaining I called again and they scheduled movers to come out they next morning They only sent three movers again So my husband had to help them load a piano and a golf cart When the first load arrived at the destination, the driver waited at the wrong location for minutes I reached to see where he was and he stated he was knowingly at the wrong address but didn't think there was anything else down the rode so didn't want to go any further down the road to find the correct address When he finally got to the right address he only had guy there to help the him unload Yet again my family had to step up and help them unloadSo basically Allied was using my family as free labor and not providing the contractual agreements upon staff Finally additional movers arrived but it was much later in the day When second load arrived, only the driver was there to unload a golf cart and piano so again my family had to help My father who is and my brother who has cancer has to assist with these items I have reached out so many times over the course of the move to inform them of the situation They always were very sorry but never worked to improve it The contact I had with Allied stated that she would not run the payment on credit card until we discussed the situation furtherThey next day the charge hit my credit card for the full $21, Additionally they charged me for things they didn't deliver They charged third party shipping/packing on the piano and on two glass tables The third party refused to pack the glsss tables and only partially disassembled the piano But these charges were not taken off the bill

Trying to make this review short and it is based on personal experience -- unethical companyI would like to start off with saying we are easy going very prepared good people who appreciate service workers by providing cold drinks, cool air, restaurant purchased food, and generous tipsWe are veteran movers and labeled all the boxes accordingly to the room they were being moved into once at the new placeOur items were color coded with numbers or words just in case a worker could not read"DS" the service rep over quoted our moving weight the day he came to give us the estimate.....to make more money upfrontThis was immediately stated the day the driver and crew showed up that we were over quoted in weight and it was proved when the move was completed I saw a copy of the actual weight which was thousands of pounds less than what we were charged forWe had several pieces of furniture and items damaged with the move and YES we did pay for the extra coverageColeman including the service reps "DS" and "PR" never made good on the extra coverage so the employees and company STOLE money from usThey make commission on selling the extra coverageI contacted them through email and text messages with no reply to help me get the process startedOn the day of the move the driver started STRIPPING the screws out of my custom made bed "DS" actually called me to say it would cost US $to have someone come out to get the bed apart since the driver was having problems1st: I was told they could take anything apart, 2nd: It was his fault -- the screws were star shaped and he knew it before taking the bed apartBUT the driver in the end was cool and worked with us, the bed has mismatched screws but at least he attempted to fix it with an apologyI filled a complaint here on Revdex.com and it has been "resolved" in their favor why or how I do not know considering they overestimated and stole from usThroughout the process Coleman either wouldn't reply or delayed responding.....what does that say about themAnd again since I am an organized person I submitted the quote, the pic of the actual weight, and the unanswered emails and texts....apparently they do not care of integrity or upholding their customer valuesI WILL NEVER use them again because of how unethical they are, they did not only steal from adults but children as well and could care less how they treat peopleDo not think you can call the 1-number for assistance either that is a dead end they tell you to contact your local agent of which I did several times in a professional courteous manner and nothing in reply

We are missing items from our move that the company is stating they are not responsible for and no real effort has been made to follow up and find After our move on November 22, we realized we were missing multiple itemsincluding a TV, steam cleaner and a few other small items I have followed up with the company including writing a letter to the corporate office in order to resolve the matter with no response from them I am asking that they either find my items or refund me for them Their stance is that due to the fact that there are no items missing from the manifest that we did not own them The issue with that is that the move on the front end was a disaster and needed multiple trucks and many items came off the truck without stickers I have followed their procedure to file a claim and I am not satisfied with their stance The company has not followed up after I sent a letter to [redacted] , CEO and [redacted] , Director

Coleman American packed my house in [redacted] Florida, October 6, 2015, and loaded household goods October 7, When I unpacked boxes in my Edmond, Oklahoma, home, it was discovered that the packers had erroneously removed and packed four large glass shelves which were to remain in the entertainment center for the buyersI contacted [redacted] with Coleman American and she advised that they would reimburse me for costs involved to return the shelves to the buyers of my home The buyers were remaining in their [redacted] home until January, After they arrived in Florida, I sent the shelves via UPS to themI mailed a letter to Coleman American, attention [redacted] , January 29, 2016, along with copies of charge slips totaling $ After repeatedly attempting to communicate with [redacted] with no response, I contacted [redacted] the Coleman American Representative I met with to arrange my move, and he advised he would be sure that I would be paid Now, he also won't re

The moving company does not deliver on their service promises We are moving from KY to MAThey were supposed to deliver our belongings between Sun 6/and Thurs 6/This was their delivery windowWe decided to call and check in on our items on Mon to check statusWe were told the truck hadnt left KY yet and that it was their "busy season"They were trying to find a driverSaid our belongings would be delivered in the windowCalled again yesterday to get update, now stating they wont make the delivery windowGot an email last night stating perhaps they can get the truck to MA in Sat but cannot give us our belongings until next weekUnbelievable poor customer service and dishonestyI feel lied toI could go on and on about the hardship this brings not having our belongingsI am writing this complaint now, given that we are still in our delivery window until tomorrow in hopes that someone will read this and try to make it rightYou have day to still deliver and be in the

I was charged $more than my Guaranteed Not to Exceed Price I contracted with Coleman to move my possessions from [redacted] The move was Jan31, with delivery on Sunday, February When the Coleman Rep came to our house to give us our estimate, he noted that since we had a front load washer, it would have to be serviced prior to the move so that the drum would not be damaged I was told that this cost was included in my Guaranteed Not to Exceed price of $ After loading was completed in Davenport, I received a call from Coleman's office ( [redacted] )to see how the load went It went fine The washer was serviced by the outside agency and everything was loaded onto the truck to our satisfactionI asked [redacted] when the service man would be arriving at our [redacted] home to service our washer and make it "usable" again She informed me that that service was not included in my priceShe offered to set it up for us for an additional ch

Throughout the process customer service expectations were not met. Promises were made and not followed up on. Blame was passed along to other depts. We were scheduled for a Sales Rep to come give us a quote on July 5,2016. The person scheduled did not show and another sales rep ( [redacted] ) called and came the next day. Blame of someone quitting was the reason that they did not show on the first date and was a common theme through the process). The move was scheduled but 3 days prior the sales rep called asking if were chose a different company, move date was move to later date. During the move we encountered multiple problems and damage to our house. All was documented and sent to the Move Coordinator ( [redacted] ) All she told us was to fill out forms for claims. When asked questions about this she would not give us answers and not call back. The bill was not presented at time of move (per our contract) for us to review but charged to our card a week later. We called

Similar to a previous poster, we were assigned this company for our military moveDue to our location, we were assigned to the Jessup, MD branch of the companyI have never met movers so rude and worthlessThe general manager, Rick D [redacted] has to be the most unprofessional manager there isSomehow, it was decided that two 60-year olds to pack all of our stuffFor perspective, we are a family of and were living in a large story home with bedrooms, bathroomsOur house was cluttered but far from "disgusting" as described by Thelma, one of the movers they sentShe went out to her truck, called Rick (the manager) and refused to come back inWhen I spoke with Rick, he was extremely rude and said he'd be sending quality control to our house and if it really was as disgusting as described, he'd see to it that we were cancelledRick explained to me that I needed to be considerate of the fact that our movers were older and had some knee and back issues and to help them as much as I could *if [redacted] they came back in after quality control leftLast time I checked, it is not the responsibility of the clients to do the job of the employees! If they were in such a position to need that help, why were they sent in the first place?! Quality control cameLow and behold, our house was....that's right....just fineThere was no reason for anyone to refuse to pack anything Looking back, I wish we would have just told Thelma to get the hell out of our houseOur year olds could have done a better job with much nicer attitudes This woman had the nerve to pack my husbands wedding band he had left sitting by the sinkWell, sort ofIt's yet to be foundThe box she had listed it as being packed in was unpacked and gone through many times with no sign of the ringAs if that wasn't bad enough, she only went on to further demonstrate her amazing packing skills! She wrapped a inch, plastic, doll house toy in pieces of packing paper and taped all the way around it Seriously, the number of boxes we opened to find things like this was almost unfathomable! Not to mention the boxes we opened to discover she had just thrown everything in Moral of my review: if you EVER have to choose a moving company from the Jessup/DMV area, pick anyone else or do it yourself! My husbands wedding band is still missing and so many of our things have been discovered broken

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the moving company services providedThe whole process from packing the items to delivery January 22, Dear Sir/Madam, RE: #XXXXXX I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with your service On January 16, the movers arrived to our new home at [redacted] Dr., [redacted] COThe driver showed up with two gentlemen from the [redacted] Springs officeThe truck did not contain any floor coveringsI was told that she did not pack the truck and there weren't anyI said there will be no one hauling items into our home without the floor coverings as we have brand new hardwood floors After much back and forth, they finally agreed to go to the warehouse and retrieve themThe driver that was sent revealed to me this was her first time driving and stated, she had to slam on the brakes because she wasn't sure she would clear a bridge Also, many comments were made about the packing of the item

Damaged or Stolen all of my most expensive itemsBoxes where delivered to my house with nothing in themMy furniture was damaged by razor knifes when unpackedI am still trying to be compensated for my items months later

Throughout the process customer service expectations were not met Promises were made and not followed up on Blame was passed along to other depts We were scheduled for a Sales Rep to come give us a quote on July 5, The person scheduled did not show and another sales rep ( [redacted] ) called and came the next day Blame of someone quitting was the reason that they did not show on the first date and was a common theme through the process) The move was scheduled but days prior the sales rep called asking if were chose a different company, move date was move to later date During the move we encountered multiple problems and damage to our house All was documented and sent to the Move Coordinator ( [redacted] ) All she told us was to fill out forms for claims When asked questions about this she would not give us answers and not call back The bill was not presented at time of move (per our contract) for us to review but charged to our card a week later We called

Allied is refusing to fix the damage they caused on my stairs The previous owners of our house( [redacted] ) hired Allied to move them out January 9thThe movers damaged the finish on our hardwood floorsA claim was filed January 24th by the previous owners ( [redacted] )and allied was notified to handle the claim through meAllied sent someone out to review and give a quote for repair but have done NOTHING to fix the problemI have called and emailed over and over but get no resultI even emailed the director of CS but no answerI keep being told my claim "somehow fell through the cracks"I know they are just giving us the run aroundI even offered to settle for whatever the estimate was and WE would have the repairs done, they just continue to do NOTHINGmonths with NO action is ridiculous!!

My 1st experience with Allied Movers in was positive They moved us from Ohio to Georgia with very minimal damage and what was damaged they either paid for or had fixed very fast In March of we moved from Georgia to Tennessee so I called them again The agent drove down and generated a very detailed inventory list and came up with a quote on the spot The surprise was with the insurance To cover all the contents at a replacement value of $per pound with zero deductible was almost $! As we were only allowed a maximum of $for the move from my new employer, we had to take the default insurance of only $0.6/lb The movers arrived on the day they were supposed to with two (2) - foot trucks/ We had packed all of our belongings ourselves so they basically had to load the trucks After they had left that afternoon, I spent a lot of time picking up wrappers and banana peels that were left in the yard from their lunch I also discovered that when they left they had hit my driveway entrance pole that holds my gate , splitting a board, and never bothered to tell me The biggest surprise came when they unloaded days later at our new house in Tennessee We discovered a lot of damage to our washer and dryer, furniture, and various items that were carefully packed in boxes (see photo's at the end) I found out that the had off loaded all our things from the original trucks to a 18-wheeler which they drove to a city miles from our house in TN, and then off loaded everything again to a U-Haul rental truck So all our things were handled times which increases the likelihood of damage A lady called me from Allied - Coleman to do a survey and I attempted to tell her all that had happened It was obvious her main objective was that I give her a number from to so she could complete her task and get off the phone I filed a claim first on the washer as it was the most expensive item that was severely damaged This is her response: At this time I have concluded my review of your claim and arranged for a check in the amount of $as settlement of your claim and the breakdown is as follows: Washing Machine Max Allowance Lbsx = $ TOTAL $ Our review of your paperwork indicated that you selected cents per pound valuation to cover your possessions during your moveUnder this provision, our maximum liability it limited to cents times the weight of your item, the cost of repair, the actual cash value, or the amount claimed, whichever is leastThe guideline that is used for the weight of an item is the American Moving and Storage Association Table of Weights and Depreciation Guide Our accounting department will issue the payment and it will be sent to you separately within to business days We again regret that you found it necessary to file a claim and apologize for any inconvenience caused Thank you ~ Kind Regards, Char This was the worst moving experience I have ever had In retrospect I should have rented my own truck and equipment and hired some of the local youth to help load and unload I probably would have saved 1/the money and had very little if any damage to our things I would never, ever use Allied Coleman again nor do I recommend them
