Review: I established a checking/savings account in 05/2014 with a PNC rep [redacted]) I was advised that upon making a direct deposit in the amount of $1000 or greater I would receive an account bonus in the amount of $150.00. After 2 months of deposits and still not receiving the bonus I called the Rep ([redacted]) and left several voice mails to no avail. I then emailed her expressing my frustration and surprisingly she replied advising me of another stipulation (that was not mentioned during initial setup)necessary to receive the bonus. She also promised an additional $50.00 visa gift card for my inconvenience. I then completed 2 online payments as advised and needless to say, I have still not received the bonus. I later ran into the same rep ([redacted]at my workplace establishing accounts, I expressed my concerns with her regarding this issue and she then apologized and stated she would rectify the issue and notify her manager to expedite the bonuses offered because she was able to verify that I had completed the initial stipulations. She assured me that the issue was handled and that I should expect a deposit within 2 business days and I would receive the $50.00 gift card via mail. She also advised me of a "Work Place Promotion" I would qualify for if I established yet another account for my daughter who is a full time student. I agreed to establish a new account for my daughter and accepted the promotion of $50.00 for that account. I explained to [redacted] that I did not want to experience the same issue and requested all disclosures regarding the promotion and stipulations. She again assured me that the issue would be handled and that I would receive a total of $250.00 for doing business with PNC bank she even itemized the promos for me as such ($150.00 dep for my personal account. $50.00 gift card via mail and $50.00 deposit to my daughters account). I signed the application and felt as if the issue would be properly cared for. I still have yet to receive ANY of the rewards promised.Desired Settlement: I am requesting promotions be issued as promised. After completing initial complaint I received a phone call from the PNC rep ([redacted] and she stated she was awaiting approval from management to issue a credit into my account for the Funds promised. needless to say, I Still have yet to receive any follow up or Payment regarding this issue. This experience has been extremely frustrating, misleading, and unethical. I am seeking a resolution and a payment as promised.

Review: I have had PNC bank for a while and have been having issue since ive had them but now its just getting rediculious.. May 26 $540 was taking from my account by withdrawal that I didnt make causing my account to go negative. I was then charger about 4 over draft fees too. I called PNC and was told that I would be getting temporary Credit on my account for everything disputed which would be the $540 + all the over draft fees but they only gave me credit for $40 and 2 over draft fees. I called back and was told that I would have to wait for an investigation for me to get the $500 back. Ive continued to bank with them since and today June 9th 2015 I noticed that they have charged my acoount $108 and has caused my account to go negitive again. I called and they have said that those are the fees that I was credited and are now sayin I WILL NOT Be getting anything back and I must put more money on the account or I will be getting charged more over draft fees. They are saying that I cant even close the account now. Please help. I dont think they should get away with this..Desired Settlement: I would like to get refuned the $540 taken from my account. And I would like to get refunded all the all the overdraft fees and other charges on my account due to the $540 being taken out. I think its about $108 that I was charged today. I would atleast like to get something back from everything I have lost. It isnt fair that the bank can do whatever they want with my money and get away with it.

Review: This bank has harassed me everyday for the last month to collect money and threaten to send my bill to collections instead of making the appropriate phone calls to ensure all issues are resolved accordingly. I have attempted to have all insurance issues fixed and have received only call backs to collect more money and collection threats even after performing a conference call and requesting a call back to follow up on the status which I never received.Desired Settlement: I wish to have all insurance information backdated with the appropriate information which my insurance [redacted] and I have sent to them numerous times. Review: I am noticing $13.00 "calculated service charge" fees taken out of the now 2 accounts I have with PNC Bank. I called about this a while back and the rep I spoke with made no sense. What's more, I notice that the charges seem to be taken out when my account is low, almost never when I have the funds available. PNC always charges the account with less money in it knowing this will put me in negative when the other account has funds that could cover the fee. I was never notified that my account would be charged this ridiculous fee when I opened it, and I still have all my paperwork from when the accounts were opened. Now, I check my account and notice two $13.00 fees ($26.00 total) on my account, completely unexpected, that have put both of my accounts in negative balance. And there is no telling how long this has been going on. When I opened my accounts with PNC bank I was given 2 checking accounts and 1 savings account. Now, I only have 1 checking account and 1 savings account. I was never notified of this change nor did I request it.Desired Settlement: I would like someone from PNC Bank to contact me and explain to me, in full detail, why my account is set up the way it is. I want to know why I am being charged $26.00 and why these ridiculous fees are being taken out the account with less funds to cover it.

Review: On January 31 I made a regular phone call to PNC bank in order to make a loan payment for my car (due Feb. 3). I asked to make one payment of 223 plus the ten dollar fee charged for doing an over the phone payment. It wasn't until I logged into my online [redacted] (where the money was being taken out of my checking account) that I found out my account was overdrawn. At the time when I called to make the payment I had 240.78 in my checking account (which should've left me with 7.78 afterwards). After seeing my account was overcharged leaving me with an account of -22.22 I spoke with [redacted]. They printed out a copy of the transactions showing that PNC tried to charge me twice for my car payment thus I was charged an overdraw fee of 30 dollars (and my bank didn't allow the second payment to come through). When contacting PNC bank they stated that they only saw one payment come through and it was returned due to insufficient funds. This makes no sense to me and my teller at [redacted] due to the fact that it shows it did go through and I did have sufficient funds for the one payment. PNC also doesn't claim that it sent out two payments at once when my bank is showing that they did. In order to try to prove that I did make a payment I faxed them over the information showing the transactions from [redacted] with my teller's signature. Along with this, I had a PNC representative call my teller at my bank in order to solve the solution right then. I was told afterwards it would take ten days to review the information. After the ten days I'm still being told the same information. Apparently I still owe a payment for Feb. 3 (which my bank shows is already paid). I'm filing a complaint because I have tried everything I could to resolve the issue by showing them evidence of the transaction going through, proof that they charged me twice, and the fact that there was sufficient funds for this particular transaction.Desired Settlement: I would like PNC Bank to acknowledge that I did make a payment for my car (223) plus the over the phone payment that came through on Feb. 3, 2014. I would also like PNC Bank to refund me for any late fee charges they may make during this time due to the fact that PNC states I never made a payment. Finally, I would like to make sure my credit was not harmed during this issue and if it was I would like that to be fixed.

Review: I have a security deposit box with pnc bank. However all of a sudden they will not let me acess my box. They are telling me that I have a court oreder of garnishment that will cause them to not let me in my security box. A garnishment tht suppose to have took place in 2007.They are full of lies and games. The so called garnishment is not true, and if it was I would have to go to court first before they could make a decsion like that. Please assist me in dealing with this matter.Desired Settlement: I need acess to my security box S.A.P.

Review: We had a PNC Line of Credit and a PNC Checking account to electronically transfer payments from Checking to Line of Credit. We paid off the LoC in June 2014. We had $182 in the Checking Account. We never got statements from the LoC nor the Checking account. In July 2015, we got one LoC statement that asked for $50 annual maintenance fee. Went to bank to close out the Line of Credit and to collect the $182 from Checking account & close it as well. Found out that PNC had been hitting the Checking account with $15 monthly fee ON AN INACTIVE ACCOUNT. We NEVER got any statements. PNC stated we were getting e-statements. We NEVER signed up for e-statements. After many hours & countless phone calls, they agreed to return 1/2 our money $90. After many more hours & many more phone calls attempting to collect the additional $90, PNC rejected the request.Desired Settlement: We would like a FULL REFUND of our $90.

Review: In December 2013 an ATM machine failed to work properly. My receipt was given and when the money was dispensed the machine didn't release and allow me to take the money. The money was still being held down. The time was 5:56, and I could still see people in the bank. I spoke to a woman and she said the bank was closed and I would need to call the 1 800 number. I asked how would they know I was telling the truth. She stated it happens, and returned inside. I still needed the money, so I circled to the other ATM machine this bank has. As I pull off I notice a woman at the ATM that didn't release my money. I rolled down my window and told her to be careful, that it didn't let me have my money. She was counting out her bills at the time I spoke to her. She had several, so I ask her if she just got an extra $100. She first replies with a smile and a yes head nod, then quickly changes her nod to a "no". I immediately call the number and spend a decent amount if time on the phone explaining the situation. I asked how they would know I didn't get my money. I was told the machine time stamps. I point out that the person that used it after me got the money, so it would have $100 extra. I was assured the machine would let us know. The funds were replaced and an investigation started. In January I receive a letter stated the machine worked properly and my funds where withdrawn. I immediately called the bank. I had to tell the whole story to one person to get transferred to another person. An appeal was written up by the person I spoke with. In my appeal I stated those ATM machines are well equipped with cameras. If pnc had taken the time to review the footage from that specific machine with the time and date they collected from me they would clearly see that the money was released. I did not take any money from that machine. I have been informed that there is no set time frame for a second appeal. It has been over 4 months. I want to see the security video myself.Desired Settlement: I want the $100 returned to my account within the next 30 days.

Review: Bank transfer from PNC to PNC accounts takes several days and goes through unneccesary 3rd party.

When trying to do a one-time payment from my PNC checking account into my son's PNC checking account, there is this long delay of 3+ business days and with it approaching a holiday weekend, the transfer would take over a week to be available. When asked why the 3rd party is nessecary, there is no clear answer but in reality I'm sure the funds are just floated inside the bank for use private until the 3 business days passes. I have been a loyal PNC customer for many years and my son has as well but this is just unacceptable. I will be ending my long history with this bank as soon as the transaction is completed and I have a new checking account opened with Chase or Bank of America.Desired Settlement: An expedited transfer having funds available in 48 hours or sooner. Not unreasonable from a transfer within the actual bank!

Review: I would like to make a complaint against PNC for how they are charging overdraft fees. I had four transactions pending in my account on the 18th. The last charge that was pending caused my account to be overdrawn. I had put a stop payment on that charge, but it went through anyway. So I could see an overdraft charge for that. On the 19th, when the charges actually posted, PNC intentionally changed the order in which they posted them. They posted them in the order that would cause the most overdraft fees.Desired Settlement: I would like PNC to refund three of the four overdraft fees.

Review: I paid off my vehicle on 12/23/15. I have requested the lien release on multiple occasions from multiple people. The address the company had was an old address so I changed it prior to sending the pay off amount. I was advised that the papers would be sent after a 10 day "holding " period. I never received the papers so I called to see why I had not received them. After a laborious conversation it was discovered they were sent to me old address. I once again advised them of the address change and requested the papers be faxed to me. When I did not receive the fax I called once again and was told they could not be faxed. At that time I was told the were mailed on 1/11/16. On 1/14/16 I called because I still had not received them. I was again told they were sent to my old address. I do not know my account number. My SS# is [redacted] . The loan was for a 2011 Subaru Legacy. I have sold this vehicle and need these papers to transfer the car to the new owner. I am old and cannot drive anymore.Desired Settlement: I want my papers sent to me so I can sell my car. Please I need the lien release.

Review: I scheduled my credit card payment ahead of the due date through PNC online banking, but PNC did not process the payment until the day after it was due incurring a $25 late fee. I am extremely frustrated because I did schedule it ahead so that it would not be late. Review: ON AUG. 23, AN OVERDRAFT FEE OF $36 WAS DEBITED FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT AT PNC BANK. I CALLED IN TO HAVE IT REMOVED AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE BY 4PM. ON AUG. 23, AN OVERDRAFT FEE OF $36 WAS DEBITED FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT AT PNC BANK. I CALLED IN TO HAVE IT REMOVED AND WAS TOLD BY A CONSULTANT NAMED CONNIE HAMILTON THAT HER SUPERVISOR WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT BY 4PM THAT DAY. I LATER LOOKED AND THE FEE HAD POSTED TO MY ACCOUNT. I SHOULDN'T HAVE RECEIVED THIS FEE IN THE FIRST PLACE BECAUSE 1) THERE WERE ENOUGH FUNDS IN MY ACCOUNT TO COVER EVERYTHING THAT MAY HAVE BEEN DEBITED, AND 2) THE FEE WAS DEBITED ON THE SAME DAY THAT I RECEIVED A DIRECT DEPOSIT CREDIT OF OVER $1200 (I HAVE SCREENSHOTS OF THIS AS PROOF). THAT DOUBLY CONFIRMS THERE WERE MORE THAN ENOUGH FUNDS TO COVER ANYTHING BEING POSTED TO THE ACCOUNT. I WANT THE $36 REFUND OF THE OVERDRAFT FEE AS PROMISED. I AM AN UPSTANDING CUSTOMER AND HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANY OVERDRAFT FEES FROM PNC BANK BEFORE DUE TO THE FACT THAT I MONITOR MY ACCOUNT EXTREMELY CAREFULLY. THE FACT THAT PNC WOULD DEDUCT A FEE ON THE SAME DAY THAT I RECEIVED A DIRECT DEPOSIT SEEMS A RATHER DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO COLLECT MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS IN GOOD STANDING WITH THE BANK. I'D APPRECIATE THE REFUND OF $36 THAT WAS PROMISED ME.Desired Settlement: I WANT MY $36 DOLLARS CREDITED BACK TO MY ACCOUNT. OTHERWISE, I'M TAKING MY BUSINESS TO TD BANK. THIS IS A RIDICULOUS WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER WHO HAS TOUTED PNC'S BANK SERVICES TO OTHERS WHO LATER BECAME PATRONS.

Review: A charge for $52.99 was posted on my monthly statement as a result of a debit purchase which is an error inasmuch as I have never, never, never made a debit purchase. They sent me two forms that were nearly the same stating at the beginning that they determined that NO ERROR had been made. In2012 this same type of occurrence showed up for $203 and it took 6 months to resolve. Now at the end of 2014 I have already spend a lot of time on the phone and can't even reach Pittsburgh this time. Not good. Not good. No way to operate a business.Desired Settlement: PNC bank needs to replace the $52.99 back into my checking account.

Review: I disputed a $170.10 transaction for a flight purchased in early November because the merchant, [redacted], never emailed me confirmation of the purchase. There was no way to know what airline the flight was on or if the ticket was actually purchased. I changed my address after this but never received the dispute correspondence form to fill out. I complained and spoke to [redacted] in the executive office of PNC. She was able to put the credit back on my account. I advised her that I needed to update my address again. She told me this needed to be done online or in the branch and she couldn't do it over the phone for security reasons. I updated my address online and received a call two days later that resulted in a voicemail being left for me from PNC explaining a new form was being sent to me and I needed to mail it back. I never received the form and today the charge was placed back on my account. I had updated my account address online but learned today that the system had not fully updated my address correctly. I called and spoke to [redacted] who advised she was fixing it and she was even able to update my address over the phone but after speaking to her I noticed that the credit was not placed on my account. I had left messages for [redacted] earlier in the day and she called me back only to tell me nothing could be done and she couldnt help me. It was like she never even reviewed my account before calling me...then she placed me on hold for 10 mins and came back on the phone only to pass the issue off to someone else. She gave me a dispute employees name and number. I called and got no answer.Desired Settlement: I just want the $170.10 credited permanently on my account. PNC had handled this issue poorly. They sent two dispute correspondences to the wrong address. Their policy on updating a customer address over the phone is totally inconsistent. My conversation with [redacted] today was very upsetting. She didn't even care to review my account before calling me.

Review: On Monday Jan 6, I made a check deposit of $1200 inside the PNC [redacted] branch. The ATM was not working. The check was from my moms [redacted] acct. My balance had been 0. I had 4 transactions totaling $579.69 that went thru the account overnight. On Tuesday Jan 7, I made an ATM deposit of $324. I had 2 transactions totaling $813 that went thru overnight. The last transaction of $35 made to [redacted] was returned unpaid. My account was overdrawn Monday thru Wednesday while PNC debited my account for 6 overdraft fees of $36 each totaling $216. There was NO DISCLOSURE regarding any holds on the deposits made. The account had been opened on Dec 2, past the 30 days PNC claims any holds are placed automatically on deposits. I had to go into the branch on Jan 8 to ask for the issues to be solved. NO branch manager was available. After speaking to the assistant manager [redacted], he credited my account ONLY 3 fees totaling $108. I spoke to the brach manager [redacted] by phone on Jan 10 and she attempted to resolve the remaining debits but claimed the system did not allow her to credit any further. A summary of account activity published by PNC on online banking shows at NO time did I cause my account to be overdrawn. Only throughout the actions of PNC and their unauthorized debiting of my account for $216, in order to generate fees, was the account short $12. The issues PNC caused my account is unacceptable and I do not consider this a satisfactory solution. ONLY half of the problem has been solved and PNC has stolen $108 of my money through their deceptive practices! I consider this a blatant attempt in stealing my money. PNC has inconvenienced me by overdrawing the account so I could not use it, making me have to visit a branch to ask for assistance, by returning an online payment made to a creditor, by not having deposited funds in order to pay other bills due, and with terrible customer service.Desired Settlement: I want the remaining $108 PNC debited to be returned to my account. I want reimbursement for the $35 late fee Chevron has added to my account which PNC caused my overdrawing my account and returning the online payment.
