Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I will forward a fax detailing my response to the reply of the business stated in my complaint. The business response was inadequate and their position not supported by the facts. I am the more aware of the tactics that were employed against us and will be relentless in stating the less than professional means that this company seems to have resorted to profit off of its unsuspecting customers. It is a sad day to see a company that for years had a stellar reputation in my eyes, now operate by any means necessary to amass profit.

Chuck S. was very thorough and professional and handled my situation quickly and curtiously.

Scott R. was very efficient and did a great job replacing my well pump.

Customer is correct, she ordered product on 2/16 and promised delivery for 2/20 was not made until 2/21, for this we sincerely apologize, we were extremely busy from will call customers not realizing how cold it was that had let themselves run out and we were no able to keep up with demand and we...

should not have promised to make the delivery, we did make the delivery the following day. Not sure who the neighbor is that customer is referring to but we have gone back and seen that customers pricing code was not set up correctly during a computer upgrade in December and have corrected going forward. We will be posting a credit to the account based on $1.00 per gallon x 203 gallons (last 2 deliveries) equaling $203.00. Once the credit is posted the $12.00 existing balance will be subtracted and a check in the amount of $191.00 will be sent to the customer.

[redacted] has 2 accounts, oil and propane.  A delivery was made for propane, however, the customer needed an oil delivery.  Customer has been contacted and delivery for oil has been scheduled.

If this is the case then why am I still getting letters and phone calls from the collections agency they use for over $1400.00?

Prompt, pleasant and efficient, I couldn't ask for more.

Today, September 29, 2016, Rob D. from Peninsula came to service the oil furnace so that it would be ready for the fall and winter. He was extremely knowledgeable, conscientious, and polite. After Rob serviced the furnace, he filled out a System Performance Report that was extremely detailed. I had never seen one like it. Then he took the time to explain to me everything on the report. I was quite impressed with his expertise. Rob is an asset to Peninsula.and really seems to enjoy what he does. He definitely could teach others good work ethics in any business. I will definitely request Rob any time I need service from Peninsula. I would even suggest that Rob receive a raise.

[redacted] stated that he never received or signed any document in reference to minimum usage.  Please see attached contract signed by [redacted] on 4/23/13.

The customer opened an account with Peninsula on 3/27/14.  To date, their balance is $2,936.78 for product used, including late fees and finance charges.  Customer has never made any payments since opening their account and using products.  Balance past due, until we receive payment,...

there is nothing we can do for them.

Chuck called ahead and arrived when he said he would. We had several issues with our plumbing. He diagnosed those problems and fixed them in a timely matter. He had the parts on his truck so there was no additional waiting. Chuck was friendly, neat, and kind to our pets.

Chuck S[redacted] plumber for Peninsula Oil, performed our annual plumbing inspection in a very courteous and professional manner. He suggested some repairs that could be done and provided a quote for the work, but did not pressure me.

Asa at Peninsula was very professional and got our gas fireplace working again quickly. He helped us ensure that the gas tank was positioned in the best location and modified some of the fittings so they looked better. We've been customers for over 10 years and have been satisfied with their service.

Tank size is based on the BTU and type of system the customer is using.  Peninsula can not control how much fuel a customer will use as everyone's usage and comfort level is different.  Our policy has always been that we pay rack price of the current day, not the price of the original delivery date.  Tank pick up fee's are also deducted before refund is issued.  No further refunds are due.

We give your trash and recycle an a . Your propane service A ( c) . And your ac a (f-) We are so upset with this service we wish we didn't ever start your service. Your people a ( c-).

Service person Reggie F. was courteous, informative and prompt. Paid good attention to detail and left work area clean.

Asa F. is a top-notch service professional. Repaired and cleaned gas fireplace efficiently and effectively, and we would recommend him to anybody.
The issue we have with Peninsula is their "non-frequent use" propane delivery fee, due to our fireplace not being our major source of heating. Feel it should be waived, as we also contract other services (trash/recycling) from Peninsula.

Regards,

Peninsula will cheat their customers every chance they get. One of my 2 tanks was leaking gas. It was an ordeal to get Peninsula to come out and fix it. When they finally fixed it, they wanted to charge me to refill it. It wasn't until I threatened to contact the Attorney General's office that they caved. The owner (John W[redacted]) is apathetic to customer problems. His employees aren't the sharpest tools in the shed either!
