I am rejecting this response because:The comments don't resolve anything The issues still remain:We can't close out by 7pm PSTThe rates were not as stated 2% or less with all fees including the lease.The next day funding stopped funding the next day without warning.The sales staff was untruthful about the ability to completely cancel the contract.In addition, the company has withdrawn $from my business account without warning on 2/12/in the amount equal to the cancellation fee of the processing services Prestige Payment systems wants my company to continue to pay them commissions built into the lease for years when they can't provide the services that were falsely stated by their sales staff

Dear Revdex.com Representative: Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention We have reviewed the file and found no support for any of the claims raised in the complaint All fees charged to the customer have been in accordance with the Merchant Processing o and Agreement (MPA) signed by the customer The MPA includes a detailed two-page Schedule A with an itemized listing of all rates and fees applicable to credit and debit card processing, as well as a separate equipment lease section that clearly discloses the monthly equipment lease payment and duration of the lease The Merchant Receipt signed by the customer clearly discloses the early termination fee charged for termination of the agreement before the end of the agreed upon term The customer also confirmed her understanding of an agreement with the primary terms and conditions of the agreement in a recorded telephone call with a member of our company’s compliance team soon after signing the agreements Furthermore, our customer service department worked diligently with the customer to resolve her concerns In August 2015, we removed the customer’s downgrade surcharge applicable to non-qualified credit card transactions, resulting in significant go-forward savings on credit card processing Additionally, between July and March 2016, we issued the customer a total of $1,in courtesy credits and refunds, despite the fact that all charges were in accordance with the MPA Even so, at the customer’s request, we have terminated the customer’s processing agreement/account early before expiration of the agreed upon term and waived the associated early termination fee, but no grounds exist for early termination of the equipment lease, the rights to which are owned by a third party leasing company These significant refunds and credits and the early termination at no cost will result in a substantial loss for our company, but we prefer a swift resolution to this matter As a result of the above, we feel we have addressed and resolved every issue raised in this complaint and request it be reopened Should you need any additional information, please let us know Thank you

As detailed in our initial response, all terms and conditions of the agreements were clearly disclosed to the customer Additionally, our customer service team has worked diligently with the customer and provided significant discounts in an attempt to make the customer happy We have now taken the additional step of terminating the customer’s processing agreement before expiration of the agreed upon term and waiving the associated early termination fee in order to resolve this issue The customer therefore has no further obligation under its processing agreement; however, no grounds exist for early termination of the customer’s equipment lease, the rights to which are owned by a third party This will result in a significant financial loss for the company, but the company has decided to incur that loss in order to bring closure to this matter Should you have any further questions or concerns regarding this file, please do not hesitate to contact us Thank you

Dear Revdex.com Representative: Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attentionWe have reviewed the complaint and the customer's file and found no support for the customer's claim that she did not know she was in a contractThe customer signed a Merchant Processing Application and Agreement (MPA) that set forth all terms and conditions of the agreement, including an itemized list of all credit and debit card processing as well as the non-cancellable lease for processing equipment for $per month (plus applicable taxes) for a term of months In or around October 2015, the customer experienced equipment issues that were common in the industry due to the EMV transitionOur customer service team worked with the merchant to resolve these issues and ultimately swapped out her equipmentEven so, the customer remained unhappy and we terminated her processing agreement early before expiration of the agreed upon term, but no grounds existed at that time for termination of the lease agreement, the rights to which are owned by a third party leasing companyOur customer service department spoke with with the customer again recently and will arrange for early termination of the equipment lease before expiration of the agreed upon term at no chargeThe customer will therefore have no further obligation under any of the agreements As a result of the above, we feel we have resolved all issues raised in this complaintShould you need any additional information in order to close out this file, please let us knowThank you

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Here's another example of ignorance on their parts, we only sign up with them on or around 6/24/2015, how is it that they changed our rate at or around 6/24/2015? It was only after this complaint was filed that someone contacted us some time in AugustThere were three set of machines that was sent here not as they claim one machine with two pin pads Let say that it was just one machine, why on earth we would knowingly take that offer when we get the equipment for free from our last processor? Are they saying that one machine is worth $a month? If not then is it related to the amount we process? If so then the fee should be on with the service side and not equipment leaseWe were told there is a monthly fee or about $400, not a non-cancelable lease that would cost us $if we cancel If they are such a honest and good company why is there pending class action suit against them Even if they do offer the term on their response I wouldn't want anything to do with them, do you? I rather spending the money on a lawyer instead of giving it to them and I'll look into jointing the class-action if they don't want to right the wrong.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Dear Revdex.com representative:Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention We take complaints like this very seriously and have a team dedicated to resolving all complaints and other issues involving our company.We have reviewed this complaint and the customer file and have not found any support for the customer's claims The customer clearly agreed to and signed a Merchant Processing Application and Agreement ("Agreement") that contained a separate two-page "Schedule A" expressly setting forth each and every applicable rate and fee for credit and debit card processing The Agreement also includes a clear and unambiguous "non-cancellable" lease for processing equipment for $per month for months Furthermore, the Agreement clearly describes the three pieces of processing equipment the customer ordered - one terminal and two pin pads The customer additionally participated a training telephone call with the company's compliance administrator in which he confirmed his understanding of and agreement with the terms of the Agreement, including the "non-cancellable" lease term, monthly lease payment, and types of equipment ordered As such, the customer's claim that he was unaware of the equipment he ordered or that the lease is non-cancellable is without merit Indeed, all leases by nature are non-cancellable without payment of some early termination fee Moreover, the customer admits in his complaint that he was advised of the "$400" monthly lease payment, so it is not clear from the complaint what he is alleging the company misrepresented The customer's claim near the end of the complaint that he realized two months into the lease that he has to pay "$400" per month is directly contradicted by his own statement near the beginning of the complaint that the sales representative disclosed the $monthly fee to him.Even so, our customer service department worked diligently with the customer to to resolve its concerns On or around 6/24/2015, our customer service team reduced the customer's offline debit card processing rate from 1% to 0% and the customer's non-qualified card surcharge rate from 2.99% to 0.005% These are significant rate reductions provided as a courtesy that will result in a significant financial loss for the company.As such, the customer agreed to a valid and enforceable Agreement and the company has taken significant steps to resolve the customer's concerns, but no grounds exist for early termination of the equipment lease, the rights to which are owned by a third party The company's fully staffed customer service department stands ready to work with the merchant to resolve any additional concerns he may have.Should you have any further questions or concerns regarding this file, please do not hesitate to contact us Thank you

We have reviewed this complaint and the customer file and have not found any overcharging of this customer Each and every fee charged to the customer has been disclosed in either the agreements signed by the customer or in merchant statements with at least 30-day notice and an option to opt out As such, there has been no overcharging of this customer – all fees charged have been in accordance with her agreement Additionally, our customer service department has worked diligently to resolve this customer’s concerns during the last years We have refunded the customer’s agreed upon PCI fees and recently agreed to refund the agreed upon $annual fee The annual fee refund is currently being processed and will be received by the customer within 5-days Our customer service department has explained this to the customer We have also agreed to waive the customer’s monthly service and monthly reporting charges moving forward, and reduce her downgrade surcharge rate from 2.99% to 1% In addition, our records show that our customer service department has communicated with the customer over times since signing up in November to explain rates and fees and otherwise assist her with issues related to her account The refunds and account adjustments discussed above have all been explained to the customer and will result in significant cost savings for the customer (and expense to the company) The customer has agreed to continue processing with our company As always, we appreciate your assistance with this matter Should you have any further questions or concerns regarding this file, please do not hesitate to contact us Thank you Marlene H [redacted] | Project Manager 503-889-(Direct)888-875-(Fax) [redacted] @merchantsolutioncenter.com
