in receipt of the complaint initiated by the above-mentioned consumer and

[redacted] stated that his flight was
cancelled and he did not have phone access and only had internet access. He
contacted his mom and had her contact us but when she contacted us, it was
after the scheduled check-in date and the reservation was already considered a
no show. Customer is unhappy with those policies and is requesting a refund on
his unused reservation.
Upon reviewing the cancellation policies associated with the customer’s
reservation, it stated:
Cancel Policy: For the room type and rate that you've selected, you are not
allowed to change or cancel your reservation. If you cancel your room, you will
still be charged for the full reservation amount.
We are unable to issue a refund back to the credit card as requested.

Issue:

"background: white;">Customer's airline requests on our website were rejected; however, she claimed that she was charged $for the insurance- Customer sent us a copy of her bank statement showing $charge from Priceline
Actions Taken:
- I checked her record in our system (both accepted and rejected requests) and there was no record of $charge or authorization- With SOD's assistance, we checked Paymentech for any $transaction using her complete card number and no record found- I called her bank and they confirmed $authorization from Priceline last Jan25, (same date that appears on the statement); however, unless they have the customer on the line, they cannot confirm if it was actually posted or reversed- I spoke with [redacted] and was advised that the bank confirmed the $being an actual charge; however, she refused us to contact her bank- Customer no longer want us to contact her since she already disputed the charge
Resolution:
- Customer refused to be assistedShe advised us to address the issue once her bank notify us of the dispute- Case is closed for now
