Revdex.com:

If Professional Credit Services has changed their policy they should let consumers know that they are being given a "grace" period before it is reported.  If I would have known I would have found a way to pay it a lot sooner.

I will accept this response only if the second account is removed from my credit report to all agencies it was reported to.

This is a communication from a debt collector.Thank you for notifying us your concerns. We also received your letter dated July 28, 2015. This communication is from a debt collector.

Thank you for notifying us of your concerns. We are very sorry to hear that you were frustrated as a result of your interactions with our representatives. As you noted in your complaint, we investigated your dispute and confirmed that your...

insurance company paid the majority of the balance that was referred to our office. We applied those insurance payments to reduce your account balances on June 14th and October 12th; however, four of the accounts still have a remaining balance. Based on your frustration, we will go ahead and request the removal of the accounts from your credit report and we will send you a statement with the current balance on each account.

With respect to your concerns regarding the documentation showing a zero balance, please note that the provider processes a bad debt writeoff when it refers the account to our office for collection. That accounting entry ensures that the balance is transferred to our office and it essentially prevents you from owing both the provider and Professional Credit Service for the same underlying account.

Lastly, we sincerely appreciate that you took the time to notify us of your concerns, so that we can work to improve the service that we provide to you and our other consumers. If we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our Consumer Help Desk directly at (866) 320-6521.

[redacted]) on 6/3/2015 in the amount of $50.00. [redacted] informed us that this wasa payment that they received directly from you shortly after they sent theaccount to our office for collection. In addition to that payment, [redacted] statesthat they received two $50.00 payments from you after sending you the finalbilling on May 20, 2014. That reduced the balance to $254.62, which was theamount referred to collection. Pursuant to ORS 697.105, [redacted] then added acollection fee in the amount of $47.06.According to [redacted], they sent an email to you on or around 6/23/2014 containing an accounthistory spreadsheet. [redacted] states that it also sent this spreadsheet to you on3/26/2014. This is a communication from a debt collector.Dear Ms. [redacted], Please contact our office at [redacted] to discuss setting up payment arrangements like the ones proposed in your complaint. It appears from our records that we  attempted to reach you on October 9th, 13th, and 14th, to...

inform you that you can set up $50 monthly payments. However, we have not yet heard back from you. With respect to the prenuptial agreement, our records show that our attorney sent you a letter on July 24, 2015, explaining that a prenuptial agreement is not binding on the original creditor in this case. Here, your husband is being held responsible under RCW 26.16.205, which states that the expenses of the family are chargeable upon the property of both spouses, or either of them. Thus, while your prenuptial agreement may define the rights and responsibilities with respect to certain contractual matters, it does not alter the liability imposed under the statute above. Regardless of that fact, please note that we are willing to work directly with you if you can contact us and enter into payment arrangements to resolve the obligations.Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to work with you and we hope you will not hesitate to contact us if you need anything else.Sincerely,Consumer Help DeskProfessional Credit Service[redacted]

This communication is from a debt collector.

Dear Mr. [redacted],
I am writing in response to the complaint that you filed with the Revdex.com (Revdex.com). I would like to apologize if we have not...

adequately addressed your concerns up to this point. I will do my best to provide additional information in this letter, but please feel free to contact our Consumer Help Desk at (866) 320-6521 if you would like to discuss this matter further.
First, I want to say that we greatly appreciate your recent efforts to pay your accounts at Professional in full. As noted in your complaint, we have two accounts for you in our office. The first account was referred to our office on September 9th, 2014. We began collection efforts on this account very shortly after. This account was first reported to your credit report on December 1st, 2014. The second account at Professional was referred to our office for collection on August 30th, 2015. Again, we began collection efforts on this account shortly after referral. This account first reported to your credit report on March 18th, 2016.
Please note that between the dates that each of the above accounts was referred to our office, Professional changed its processes to allow its consumers additional time to work out any potential insurance billing issues prior to the accounts being reported to any credit reporting agencies. As this additional time typically benefits consumers, it is not entirely clear from your complaint why this would constitute a bad business practice. Additionally, the credit reporting agencies have asked data furnishers to report files on a periodic basis, but no less than monthly. Professional reports a file twice each month, usually one file at the beginning of the month and a second file in the middle of the month. As such, Professional anticipates that your account would be updated well within 30 days of making your payment. However, if you believe that it was unfair for the second account to report while you were making payment arrangements, then we would be willing to request that this account simply be deleted from your credit report.
Again, thank you for notifying us of your concerns and please feel free to contact us if you need any additional information.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the company did not even mention the amount owed, or whether they would write off the amount owed, instead attempted to make the point that they made contact with me in 2011. They aren't even addressing what I said, and are instead breezing over it and laying blame on me for their lack of concern to call me over the course of several years. I want a yes or no answer to whether they will agree to take off the interest they have allowed to accumulate.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  They were going to provide collection efforts in the past and give reason(s) why they waited until Dec. 27th 2016
to send a ten thousand dollar bill, just before a new year.  I still have no proof of why this bill accumulated so much interest.  I believe this is some form
of harassment.Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I am requesting validation, made pursuant to the Fair Debt CollectionPractices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act, along with the correspondinglocal state laws. Please note that I am requesting “validation”; that iscompetent evidence bearing my signature, showing that I have (or everhad) some contractual obligation to pay you. Please also be aware that any negative mark found on my credit reports(including Experian, Transunion and Equifax) from your company or anycompany that you represent, for a debt that I don’t owe, is a violation ofthe FCRA & FDCPA; therefore if you cannot validate the debt, you mustrequest that all credit reporting agencies delete the entry.
Sincerely,

Complaint: [redacted]Thank you for your prompt reply. I have attached a copy of the receipt for payment to the City of Eugene and PCS account number [redacted]. I have also emailed the consumer help desk at PCS with the official email confirmation and a copy of the attached receipt. This should satisfy the record requirements necessary for a deletion of PCS account [redacted]. Kind Regards,[redacted]

Because you did not respond, we requested that the court enter a judgment by default, which the court entered on July 11, 2012.
