Review: I answered an advertisement for [redacted] Aging cream, which was supposedly a new miracle product used by [redacted] and others. All I had to do was pay the shipping. I used my bank debit card. Since then I have received several shipments automatically and outrageous invoices which were automatically deducted from my bank account. I wrote a note and sent it back with the first package, telling them not to send anymore, but that didn't help. They keep coming. I have no idea how much money was actually taken, but I know it was substantial.Desired Settlement: I would like all money refunded or credited to my bank account. And, I would like these people to be required to make known the way they do business.

Response:

When a customer places an order on our website the terms and conditions of the offer are clearly stated on the check out page and must be agreed to by the customer making it a legal and binding contract. The terms clearly state a 14 trial of a 30 day supply. If the customer does not call customer service to cancel within the first 14 days they will be charged the full retail price of the bottle and enrolled in a monthly subscription. The terms specifically state the customer must contact customer service to cancel their subscription and to obtain an RMA# to return the products. As of today, we have no record of this customer contacting customer service. As a courtesy, we have refunded this customer a total of $269.91 of which should reflect back into their original method of payment within 2-3 business days. We apologize for any misunderstanding.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: The website advertised the product free and just to pay the shipping for a trial offer. I gave my address and credit card info to pay the shipping charge. Two weeks later I received a charge from them for the price of $87.53. I called their customer service to receive a refund and they refused to do so. I did not authorize the charge. The transaction took place at 2am. I received no contact before hand stating that I would be charged. I would like the charge to be cancelled or refunded. The advertisement was completely misleading. Nowhere did it say that there would be a $87.53 charge after two weeks and then continuing every 30 days thereafter. It may have been in the "terms & conditions" but this was buried. The full terms of the offer should have been more prominently displayed. I have done some research and apparently this exact issue has been referred to the Revdex.com on numerous occasions. They need to change their busienss practice here and just be honest abou the terms of the "trial offer."Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the $87.53 because when I placed my order for the trial bottle, I was under the imprssion that all I had to do was pay shipping (which was an addtional $6.95 charge) and that would be it. I would have been more than happy to continue to order the product if I was satisfied, but this kind of advertising and hidden charge scheme gives me the impression that they dont have faith in the product and just want to trap people into auto billing. If they backed their product, they would let it speak for itself and not have to use shady tactics.

We do apologize but all of our terms and conditions are listed right on the screen when an order is placed and the customer must check off a box that states they agree to the terms and conditions. If the customer fails to check off that box, the order will not be processed. As a courtesy, we have refunded this order. The customer will see a credit within 4-6 business days.

Review: I emailed customer service Monday August 4, 2014 after midnight while I was at work. I requested to to return the item and told them they were not authorized to charge my card for any reorder. I received an automatic response stating someone will contact me within 24 hours. On Tuesday I emailed the company again requesting an RMA number and a refund. I also told them no one contacted me. I received a response stating someone will get back to me in 24 hours.

I was not aware of this free trial leading to automatic rebilling for full price. They baited me and now refuse to cancel anything or contact me. I want to he done with this and I want to make sure nothing will be charged to my account.Desired Settlement: I am asking a full refund and an agreement that there will be no future charges or orders delivered.

Response:

When a customer places an order online the terms and conditions are clearly stated. The customer must agree twice to those terms or the order will not go through. Our records show this customer placed their order on July 30, 2014 for a 14 day trial of a 30 day supply. Per the terms the customer must contact customer service by phone to cancel. We have cancelled this customers account. There will be no future billing or charges. As a courtesy, we have credited back the $4.95 and the customer can keep the bottle. We do apologize for the misunderstanding.

Review: The company in question, SZT Contact Marketing, sent a bottle of pills to us, after specifying very clearly that it was a FREE TRIAL offer only, and that we would pay absolutely nothing more than the cost of shipping and handling. Upon receiving the bottle of pills, we called the company and specifically made sure that we were cancelling any further obligation that might possibly be entailed, and we received direct explicit word from them that we would not be charged in any way whatsoever.

And yet, today, we received another, totally undesired and unsolicited, bottle of pills, with an invoice included stating that we were charged $87.53. This money was taken directly out of our bank account.Desired Settlement: We absolutely demand that the $87.53 be directly and immediately refunded to us, and that action be taken by the Revdex.com against: [redacted] If the money is not immediately refunded completely and in full, we are going to take legal action against this company without delay.

Review: Advertisement says free trial all you have to pay is shipping. Invoice also says $0.00Tried and it gave me a boil. Called customer service and they said it's not free and that I was charged a discount of $65.65.Desired Settlement: 65.65 refund.

Response:

We do apologize but we offer a free trial with all of the terms and conditions clearly listed on the page where the order is placed, actually, the customer has to check off a box that states they have read and agree to the terms and conditions of the sale, prior to the order being processed. As a courtesy we have refunded the customer for the $65.65 Thank you

Review: I am unhappy with the fact that I have been charged twice in one month and received product both times. It was unclear that I signed up for a 14 day trial and then within 10 days automatically signed up for another month supply. The 14 day trial wasn't even expired before I was charged for more product. I was not able to use the product because I am pregnant but I am unhappy with how business is done and I want nothing to do with this business or their product. On another note, this business either authorized another business to charge my account $19.95 two times for unknown products that I never received ( the other business is called LIVE BODY) or the security for this company is compromised. I am willing to send back 2 bottles of unopened product for a full refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $175.06 to my credit card and in turn I will send back the unused and unopened bottles of product. I would also appreciate someone in this business taking responsibility for authorizing or allowing LIVE BODY access to my credit card to charge it without my knowledge.

When a customer places an order on our website, the terms and conditions as well as the offer are clearly listed on the same page as the checkout, and the customer has to check off a box that they have read, and agree to the terms and conditions of the sale which is a 14 day trial which starts the same day the order is placed. If the customer does not call to cancel within the 14 days the customer is set up on a recurring monthly program and charged for the bottle they have already received. If that box is not checked off, the order will not go through. The customer placed their order on 11/26/13 and was charged 15 days later on 12/11/13 for the trial bottle they already received. They were charged again on 12/26/13 which is the 30th day from their original order date and sent a fresh 1 month supply of the product. The customer called into our customer service for the first time on 2/4/14. The account was cancelled per their request and were explained the return/refund policy as outlined in the terms and conditions and agreed. As a courtesy we will refund the customer for the two bottles as they requested. Refund for $175.06 has been applied and should reflect back into their original method of payment within 3-5 business days. We do apologize for any inconvenience.
