Pronto service for a furnace repair was prompt, efficient and provided results in a timely manner. Repair person was qualified and honest.

Our hot water heater went out. I did my homework and checked around with 6-7 different companies. I hired Pronto to come out and do an assessment on whether to repair or replace. They arrived next day as promised. Given the fact the unit was 14 years old and the old part was out of stock and expensive; we agreed a replacement was the best course of action. Following a brief negotiation, we agreed on a price for a new unit. The next day it was installed perfectly. I was so impressed with Pronto's expertise and professionalism I signed up for the twice yearly annual maintenance on all of the major HVAC equipment. By the next day, the furnace had been fully maintained along with the air exchanger. Pronto is a first-class sales, service, and repair operation. I would recommend Pronto. You get what you pay for.

Pronto arrived pronto, and put my concerns about my noisy furnace to rest. I was offered a maintenance plan to care for my air conditioner, as well. This was a great load off me mind as I prepare for winter.

Working with Pronto was an excellent experience starting with the scheduling and continuing with the furnace and humidifier tuning process. The tuning went smoothly and the technician was knowledgeable and patient in explaining all the steps of the process. He was able to find two leaks in my system and fix them on the spot with no extra charge. Also, he was very careful about maintaining the cleanliness of the work space. Moreover, he didn't forget to provide me with all the documents needed to submit a CenterPoint rebate. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with Pronto's services and I am looking forward to working with them in the future as well and recommending them to others.

Pronto was hired by on 7/7/16 by [redacted] and  [redacted] to address the issues noted in the attached Inspection Report at [redacted] Shakopee MN 55379.
The items that concerned Pronto were highlighted in Yellow by the Home Inspector.
Pronto arrived on...

7/7/16 and made the requested modifications/repairs requested by the [redacted] home inspector as noted on our attached work order.While at the home Pronto also performed basic maintenance on the existing equipment per the sellers request.
When Pronto left the home on 7/7/16 the Air Conditioner was cooling the home and draining properly.
 
As you will see in the Home Inspector's report, the buyer was informed of the following "The compressor is an old unit that is well beyond its expected service life. Expect/budget to replace this unit
in the near future." This was not a secret to the buyer.
 
Pronto would LOVE to sell new equipment at every home we visit. In this case, the seller did not want to purchase new equipment. When we left the home on 7/7/16 the AC was working fine.
Unfortunately, nobody can predict when old equipment will fail. It's like being old & out of shape and going in for your annual physical. The doctor may say, well your old & out of shape but you still seem to be doing OK. Then you have a heart attack a month later. We'll the doctor couldn't predict if & when you would have a heart attack. And you certainly wouldn't ask your doctor to pay your medical bills because you were old and pout of shape!!
 
We feel we performed exactly as we should have at 508 7th Ave S. We were honest & ethical. We did not side with the seller or buyer. We felt the inspector was pretty clear in his report that the AC would need to be replaced soon.
 
The timing of the AC failure was unlucky for the buyer because of the timing of the failure but not unexpected due to the age of the AC.
 
We feel the anger toward Pronto (the messenger in this case) is misdirected. If anyone is at fault, it is the buyers Real Estate agent who did not insist on a new AC installation prior to the closing. Contractors such as Pronto have nothing to do with
the negotiations of which party (buyer or seller) covers expenses that are sure to occur during the sale of the home.

Pronto seems to be a very service oriented company. The sales person came out and explained thoroughly what types of furnaces were available, which ones would best meet my needs, and why. The warranty and service support is very nice, with additional guarantees if the equipment malfunction is unable to be repaired within 24 hours of your call. The financing options were great, and the sales person worked with the financing company so we could be approved. I can see in their service and support, their vision truly is that a customer can purchase their furnace and never have to worry about it after.
The installation guys did a nice job and explained all the features on the new furnace. There needed to be some unexpected work that will need to be finished later, and they explained the process fully and clearly, so I had no concerns.

I called in a panic because my air conditioner was blowing warm air and it was getting hot outside. I contacted Pronto and a tech was there the next morning. He assessed the situation and explained the problem and offered a quick fix. The long term solution was to replace 20+ year old equipment. He offered a couple alternatives with pros and cons.
After making a decision, they were quick schedule the installation. They showed up when they promised, removed the old and installed the new in a few hours.

The job was well done, very professional and I couldn't have been more pleased.

I would highly recommend Pronto for their furnace and air conditioning services!

My friend referred me to Pronto and I had nothing but positive trust in him. I was very happy with their workmanship, their concern in keeping my carpet and flooring clean. On a 90+ degree day they kept calm and other than a 15 min lunch break continued until done. This was a complete furnace and air condition job. I will never hesitate to refer Pronto to anyone.

My furnace was red tagged late Friday afternoon and I was leaving on vacation Tuesday morning. Pronto came on Saturday and gave me a quote they won the bid as they were able to install on Monday. The installation team was polite, fast and efficient. The furnace was up and running by 3pm on Monday! The only issue was the pilot light on my water heater had gone out during the replacement. They told me it had been re-lit however it went out again. I sent them an email and they came back and took care of that for me while I was on vacation.

Our AC went out a week or so ago, when it was in the high 90's here in the Twin Cities, and pronto came out to fix it. Took about an hour to determine what was wrong, replace the capacitor, and get it back up and running. Gave me a thorough explanation of what was wrong with the unit and gave me a contact number for the pronto sales team to talk through options of buying a new unit.....when I was ready or when this unit broke down again.

Only a couple minor issues with the service call. 1) wish they would have had better pricing information on cost of new units on hand (rather than having to call) 2) they left a canister of refrigerant (empty) next to the unit

We are not ones to usually call a repair person. My husband takes great pride in being able to fix most things himself. However, we needed to have our HVAC repaired recently and Pronto was who we called. They were quick with there response time and the service rep was very kind and knowledgeable. The price was a little steep for what we had done but if in a bind would probably use again.

Over the past 1 1/2 I gutted renovated a rental property. We installed 5 new bathrooms and 4 new kitchens. I worked with Travis, the master plumber, mainly on all the work. He was great. He was by far the most reasonable. flexible and efficient plumber that I worked with.

I highly recommend Pronto for your plumbing needs.

They did an estimate on a Friday and were able to perform the work the following Tuesday. I had them replace my 20 yr old furnace and A/C. They arrived on time and did a super job on the install.

Great service, friendly and trustworthy techs. They came out on Thanksgiving morning and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. High recommend Pronto for service and furnace/AC replacement.

I am 100% confident that the Pronto technicians acted without bias when inspecting the HVAC equipment at your new home. As I stated in my prior e-mail, It is much better for Pronto to just
replace old equipment rather than repair or maintain it.
 
I also believe that when mechanical systems are involved that it is almost impossible to predict an exact breakdown date.
 
We rarely receive customer complaints, this is only the second complaint that we have ever received through the Revdex.com or any 3rd Party since Pronto opened in 2008.
I am writing a check today for $671.00 per your request as a show of goodwill.

Had a very good first impression with Pronto. Keith [redacted] - service technician arrived on time, told me what he was going to do , told me about Pronto and their services in a quick and friendly way....no big heavy sales. Did a tune up on my furnace, told me it was in good shape and what to look out for..a nice, quick, friendly visit. Thank you
