Our furnace went out on us right at the start of the cold weatherInitially we called another Heating and Cooling company as soon as this occurredThey came out and completed an inspection and told us we needed to replace the boiler We anticipated this would be the case because we had water damage in our basement and water had gotten into the unit The furnace had to be shut down, it was leaking carbon monoxide, it just was not repairable Before getting the work done we wanted to get another opinion first, especially since this was probably going to be a replacement The first company we called had quoted us a price a too high for our pockets We decided to call around first to get more inspections, luckily we happened to find an advertisement from Qualified Heating in the Valpak we received We gave them a call to scheduled an appointment Mr*** arrived to our residence on our scheduled appointment date The morning of the appointment I was pleasantly surprised to get a call from his office to alert us of his estimated time of arrival Mr*** inspected our unit and confirmed what we already knew, it needed to replaced We sat down scheduled a date for the work to begin The Qualified Heating Repairmen arrived to our home on the scheduled day and did a fantastic jobThey installed top brand equipment and now our home is nice and warm The entire team was very professional through the entire process, this includes the owner Mr***, the office staff and the repairmen When I was told I would get a return phone call, I did When I was told someone was going to arrive at my home they came They really did a beautiful job and worked diligently to get our boiler installed timely to prevent damage that could have occurred due to the cold weather Qualified Heating will be one we will call on for our Heating and Cooling needs Thanks to Qualified Heating

My furnace was leaking excessivelyI spoke with Keith *** and he came out and assessed the problem the same day, a Saturday close to closing timeA contractor came out the next morning, fixed the problem and charged a nominal feeI highly recommend this company!

I am so happy I called Qualified Heating to look at my air conditioner today I’ve been sweltering in the heat for several days not knowing who to call I saw their ad in *** and they looked like a well established business so I gave them a call They came out the same day and within minutes they found the problem to be just a capacitor minutes later, they replaced it, topped the a/c with Freon and cleaned the outside of the unit I was very pleased with the professionalism and honesty they showed

I called Qualified heating for a air conditioning problem and they were able to come out the same dayThe service was good and I would recommend anyone with heating and cooling issues to give them a call

Qualified was sent to us through our home warranty company. We were not going to report the treatment we received, but it is really sad they continue to try to swindle people out of their hard earned money. We were not sure if this was the same company because the address was different but the phone number and fax number were the same.

The repairman, Keith came to check our furnace because we had no heat. He really didn't inspect anything, but then we're told we need a new furnace and several modifications. That was 10/16/14 and we went without heat for nearly 30 days with our child in the home. We had to use space heaters to stay warm which made our utility bill go up to almost $400. We would call and be told that Keith or someone else would get back to us, but never did. Then the lady answering the phones, Candice set an appointment for them to come out and install the furnace. No one ever showed up nor did anyone call to say they were not coming. When we called back, they said "Oh we didn't know you didn't have any heat." Which was not true because why else would we need a whole new furnace?

We reported this to our warranty company and got a second opinion. None of what Qualified said was accurate and the other company came and repaired our furnace without replacing the entire unit. We believe Qualified was very unprofessional and wasted our time and continues to do it to others.

Professional and polite. Came out the same day that I called and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently.

Our goal is to exceed service expectations with all of our customers. Unfortunately we were unable to meet this customers needs in a timely efficient manner. We had trouble locating the motor they needed as well as contacting their warranty...

company because it was a very busy A/C season. We are sorry the customer was not satisfied with our service and we will refund them the $100 they paid for their deductible.

Hello this is [redacted] owner of Qualified Heating as the homeowner stated she called us out for a preventative maintenance service upon the inspection the homeowner stated she was having problem main thermostat. Upon inspection found a short in thermostat module...

which I recommend replacing. The has two thermostats. Instead of one she wanted both replaced. I gave the homeowner a quote. She asked for better price so I gave her a total, of $185.00 for a boiler cleaning and two thermostats. The cost should have been $385.00 by her being a  police offer. I gave her a huge discount. As she stated my service tech returned and performed the repair and cleaning. 3-5 later she and stated the boiler was not working. I returned and found the safety switch tripped, I reset and performed carbon monoxide test everything checked out ok. To ensure the homeowner of her safety that everything was ok but she waited it was replaced and I told her it would be a fee of 95.00 for service and a new switch. I placed the order and originally my vendor thought it would only take a day or two to come in but it took 7-10 days. An appointment was set and the day of I ran behind on a repair call. I left a message and stated that I may not be able to make it and that I may have to reschedule following day. Because her appointment was scheduled for late evening to accommodate her work schedule. She call the office and was rude to the office staff as well as myself and she stared that I took her money and won't come fix her boiler. But note homeowner has heat she stated to me in a previous conversation and she also stated she was going to get another company. To honor my Revdex.com pledge and my own customer service I will go out to replace the switch at no charge. Please notify Qualified Heating if this is ok with the homeowner.

This homeowner is an [redacted] warranty customer that we service back in the summertime for the first time. At that time their...

furnace was very dirty and out of compliance. Which for the A/C repair and per the [redacted] company's policy we should have not authorize the repair of the A/C but be cleaned the furnace, also cleaned the electronic air cleaner which was working. We cleaned and returned all cells and filters back in unit, and it was working. Also, made the repair for the A/C.
Since that time we received an call on December 6 as customer stated, which was a Sunday and we did not charge an overtime rate being a Sunday service call. Husband was with me and we found a clogged and dirty condensation trap which I cleaned and blew out, that can cause the system to short cycle like it was performing. While writing up the invoice and paperwork and the homeowner writing the deductible payment, the furnace stopped working. I proceed to recheck the system and verified the trap was clean, then next troubleshooting by checking the pressure switches which were okay, as well as checking the inducer motor which was running at a little high amps and concluded that I would replace the inducer motor. Upon this conversation with the homeowner we possibly may have to check a exhaust piping to make sure it was not clogged. The service tech returned the next day and installed a new inducer motor and system continued to do the same thing. I being the Senior Tech I returned the following day found the same problem occurring and then contacted the local furnace company representative tech help line. They advised me to replace the main board and pressure switches and the system did the same thing and the rep advised possible secondary heat exchanger leaking, which could cause pressure switches to short cycle system. I advised the homeowner's wife, which I was there from 2pm to 6pm, made several trips to the local rep for parts and advised homeowner that I would request a 2nd opinion for another vendor to come out, because with the local reps advise furnace secondary heat exchanger might have to be replaced or new furnace. I then contacted the home warranty company the following day and they sent out an 2nd vendor which told homeowner that my service tech may have gotten PVC shavings in motor which could make the system to short cycle, also homeowner was on an recorded line with the home warranty company telling myself and the rep what the second vendor said and that while the 2nd vendor was there he removed the exhaust piping and the system worked. Which at that time as I said on a recorded line, we do not remove vent pipes from motor to see if clogged because it exposes C02 to the area. He said the system worked. That was the last time we spoke with the homeowner. Which I left with the system two new pressure switches also main circuit board module at no cost to the customer or the home warranty company. Then we received this compliant and note the warranty company has the recorded phone call for the 2nd vendor opinion and homeowner own statement. At anytime did we expose the homeowner to any danger being with the electronic air cleaner that was cleaned and working during the Summertime and with the second call with the furnace with C02 we did all that we could to resolve problem we were unsuccessful even speaking with furnace representative to resolve.

Qualified Heating, Inc. has done an excellent job on providing quality service at my 7 years old condo, located in the city and my mom’s 45 years old house, located in the south suburb. Keith [redacted], the owner, is very manner able, professional, compassioned and knowledgeable about his work. I found his service technicians to be the same as well. They are being added to our condo association as our preferred vendor.
On Jan 10, 2017, Keith came out to trouble shoot and fixed a problem with my water heater not heating up my water.
The company has done maintenance prevention on my furnace Nov. 2016, which is 7 years old and will be back in the spring to do preventive maintenance on my air conditioner. They installed a brand new furnace for my mom’s place in Jan. 2015 and gave her 2 free preventative maintenance.
Overall I give Qualified Heating, Inc. and his techs and the owner, Keith, an “A” plus for service and reasonable pricings.

Made an appointment for my furnance, The owner, Keith, sent his employee Kenny to service my home. Kenny was extremely knowlegeable, a professional, and did quality work in a timely fashion. I referred the company to my church. They received service as well and was pleased. I will continue to use them in the future.

Great company that exhibited professionalism from start to finish. The owner came to our home to assess what was needed and the very next day the installers came to complete the work. They finished an installation that includes a heater and an air conditioner all on the same day. The installers were very polite and professional. To top it off the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this company.

Very professional and knowledgeable. I recommend this company; have used them for 2 years now and will continue to use them for maintenance on my furnace and A/C.

Qualified Heating was the best! All technicians were polite, professional and very knowledgeable in their skills. Even in my moments of panic, the office staff was always kind and calm and led me through the process with ease. A full central air condition installation is not an easy task not to mention having to make the conversion from the old system to the new government mandated systems. It was a seamless and almost pleasurable experience. I highly recommend Qualified Heating for your air conditioning and heating needs.
