[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this because nearly everything listed in the companys response is untrue.
Since putting in the complaint with the Revdex.com, the owner has refused to talk to me on the phone, reply to emails, or come see the work himself.  Contact has been limited to short texts saying he is out of state.  When workers would show up, it would be last minute, very late in the day, and they would not have basic supplies in order to complete any of the jobs.  Someone doing a drop in with no tools doesn't count as effort made to fix anything.  I am still unclear as to how much of this is the owners fault, and how much is the employees fault.  I've spent additional nights and one additional entire day at home waiting, and they didn't show up for scheduled work.
QHI finally did finally show up on 07Sep, though I didn't have confirmation that would happen until 11:23pm the night prior.  They spent a large portion of the day cleaning and repairing past damage.  They insisted they could get everything done with two people that day.  In the end, they didn't, and had to leave at 7:45 to return their rented truck and supplies.  All of the work was not completed.  Some of the original plans had to be altered as they could not be fixed.  I am not happy with the work, and am undecided about whether its worth pursuing legally.  Enough of the work was not completed, or is of such poor quality, that I will have to hire another contractor.
I have been out of town for ten business days the entire summer.  The window and doors had to be special ordered because they were items QHI agreed to supply, but when the time came they no longer had the money or resources to do so.  It was QHI who over the last month insisted they could only work on weekends because they had other more important jobs during the week.
It is true that one set of screen doors was too large and had to be returned.  It was an unfortunate mistake made at the supply store, and I take responsibility for that.    Regards,[redacted]

To Whom it may...

concern,                                    ... 5-4-2017 I remodeled a master bathroom in beginning of January 2016 for Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] for the sum of $9400.00. I received a call from Mr. [redacted] on Sunday evening April 2, 2017. At that time, he stated there was water coming out the other side of the wall when they used the shower. He asked if I would come and look at it. I then called him on Thursday April 6, 2017, and met him at his home at 4:30pm on the same day. When I arrived, there was a large opening already cut out of the drywall on the opposite side of the shower where they said it was leaking.  I spent minimum 35-40 minutes with the shower running the entire time while Mr. and Mrs.  [redacted] were both present.  I looked for any sign of water. There was no sign of any water present. (Again, that’s after running the shower for a minimum 35-40 minutes). They said they were puzzled as well. I did not see any damage or poor workmanship of any work that we performed 15 months ago.   Sincerely, [redacted]

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
April 15, 2016
Here are the facts in response to Jensen's Letter,
response will be by number of his paragraphs. I also have two property managers that witnessed what was
not done. 1.  he does not have
a perfect record we found 3 complaints on
Revdex.com website with similar complaints as mine. My complaint is number 4. 2  Jensen calls me a
slumlord.  Not a very professional
comment. I am not a slumlord, we have been spending well over 30k per year for
the past 12 years repairing our properties. Which can be proven with Federal
Tax records. 3  He notes that he
said the house needed well over 15 days, which
is not true. We discussed and agreed  at the beginning of the job 8 days but try to
get it done in 7.  4 he notes that I tried to have them "slap the
work" together. That is far from the truth. From the start this house will
be Section 8 and the inspectors are looking for all aspects of the house to be
in order or it will not pass. So why would I say something like that that makes
no sense. 5 Again this paragraph says that the repairs were not per
City guidelines. Again makes no sense that I would pay for work only to be rejected
by the section 8 inspector. By the way I currently have 5 Section 8 properties
that have been rented for 3 to 12 years. 6 The agreement was for 8 days try go get done in 7. There
were to be 3 full time workers per day. That never happened. His brother
brought a mattress and started sleeping in the property. No heat no electric
and no water until they were all turned on about a week later. His brother did minimal
work for 3 weeks on his own. He told us that this was a fact that is why the
work was not getting done. In addition I told Jensen that I did not want white
walls multiple times. They painted  some
of the walls with left over ceiling paint and semi gloss for the trim. 7  says they were
not paid - they were paid for 5 days 2750 for work that did not get done. The
last two days Jensen assured me multiple times that the work would be completed
it was not. In addition I have several e mails to Jensen on what was to be dine
and when. 8  see paragraph 7 9 no comment he can meet with whoever he wants to 10 There  have been
no complaints by the city on our properties and currently have no complaints. 11 We also have 2 witnesses to all the lies in the Jensen
response letter.
Summary -
Anyone reading this should run not walk away from this
contractor. The work that is done is poor at best. Jensen is only
looking for money and how he can stall the project to get more money. To date  we have
lost 2750 to Jensen's work that was not done. 2750 to another contractor that
did complete the work and a estimated loss of rent 2700 for 3 months  that it will take to get a tenant. And 3 ceiling fans that were stolen from the property when
he walked off the job and returned to Home Depot for cash. From the start the property was to be completed by Oct 1
there were multiple people that wanted to rent this property. Total losses - Estimated 8,350 Sincerely Jack Owner / Manager

Yes the roofers were asked to leave at 9:00pm due to safety issues.  Its is pitch black at 7:30pm and I do not have flood lights on my home, nor did they bring any.  How do you work in the dark?  I have a 9 yr old son that also had school the next morning and 9pm is getting ready for bed.  Regardless of the situation, they should work at dark time and they did the damage, not me.  My last contact with RSG insurance carrier was November 23, 2016.  I will not have any dealing with them, they are not my insurance carrier.  My contract is with RSG and it is their responsibility to keep an eye on this.  If RSG didnt send me an email, threatening to place a lien on my home, I wouldn't be in this situation.  This was very unprofessional for RSG to do something like this.  Until my home is fixed, this is a valid complaint.  This is consuming to much of my time and I cant keep going back and forth.  My next steps will result in legal action.  I hate to do this to any company but all I want is my home repaired.  It is now the holidays, my home is in disarray and contractors cant get things started until after the first of the year.  Maybe, I have a starter check to help pay for the repairs.

Dear [redacted], As per your letter dated 3/19/15 for your request to respond to this letter, we state the following facts to this case:
1) We standby our previous letter to you dated 3/12/15.
2) We have nothing further to add at this point.
Respectfully submitted without prejudice, Sincerely, Paul, QHI

I emailed the owners of RSG roofing yesterday, stating that I still haven't received any funds as indicated on 12.12.2016.  I also submitted receipts for the VHS, Books and Mold test that were higher than what they stated in the 12.12.2016 information.  In the email of 12.12.2016, it was noted that any repairs, replacements etc that were higher then what the insurance quoted, would have to be reviewed.  At this point, I have sent documentation and I am waiting.  In the email, I did state, when and if, they issue another check, to please send it via Certified Mail.

Dear [redacted],

1) We stand by our previous letter to you dated 9/7/14.
2) Additionally we have done everything possible to work with this customer and the best we could to make her satisfied.
3) We the following are witness to the above work being completed to the customers satisfaction:
   1) Mike S[redacted] - Project Manager,  2) Mike L[redacted].
Thank you,Sincerely, Mike S[redacted]QHI

I have received a check but I haven't cashed it.  I sent a copy of the MOLD Report to RSG as well as [redacted].  Now my home has mold due to the massive water damage that will need attention from RSG on how to handle.  I did receive a email from [redacted], RSG, Insurance company stating they do not handle the mold issues relating to the water damage.  He, [redacted] also address, his company doesn't handle my compensation that would be needed for my missed time at work to have my home repairs.  I cant afford to miss time without pay.  I sent an email back to [redacted], RSGs insurance company, stating that I would not cash the check until these 2 items have been discussed and moving forward to a resolution.  I haven't received any type of a response from RSG Roofing as of today.   Respectfully,[redacted]

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Multiple items have come to my attention since my last reply:
- Mike S[redacted], an employee of QHI, performed a large portion of the work contracted, but is not the individual who is writing these letters, though his name is on them.
- David J[redacted] has neither seen the state of the house nor returned any of my emails.
- David J[redacted] is a registered sex offender and I was not made aware of that.
I no longer care to pursue this issue.  I'm not happy with the work but enough is enough.  I no longer want ANY of these people in my house.  If that means you need to dismiss the complaint, so be it.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
March 17, 2015[redacted] The Revdex.comDear [redacted]: This message is in regards to my complaint submitted on 2/23/2015 2:17:04 PM against Jensen Development Company / Quality Home Improvements.  Our complaint assigned ID [redacted] and why we are rejecting their response. We received the letter which was written by Paul J[redacted] dated 3/12/2015; he listed nine “facts” which is the reason for my response. Please refer to his letter as I will respond to each line item individually.1)      It was agreed that we paid $650.00 per day for labor. When questioned we were told by David J[redacted] that he would have several people working each day to complete the job quickly. He later stated that he preferred to have the minimal amount of labor so he can make more money.2)      The amount of hours they worked per day was at their discretion; however they were to perform certain tasks each day as result. Over the several days that they worked we were promised completion dates which they failed to meet repeatedly. In fact the second to last day that they worked was supposed to be their last day and I spoke to David; who apologized and promised that they needed just one more day. He asked me to pick up a few items from [redacted] in efforts to save some time the following day. The next day they worked a long day; however we nowhere near finished. I called David and had a heated conversation with him and he again promised one more day to finish. I told him that the extra “one more days” was adding up and costing us much more money than originally expected. Initially David told us that the project would take 6 days to complete entire basement plus repair our kitchen floor. Please refer to attachment.3)      David claims that all work was professionally done by code and inspected. He also told us that he was a licensed electrician and one of his brothers was a licensed plumber. We did some investigating and found neither statement to be true. We had hired a contractor to come in and provide a quote to fix the mess QHI had left and finish the work. Upon request I can provide contact information to verify all the deficiencies which he found as well as the countless photos taken of their work. 4)      As far as being 100% satisfied with their work; not the case. I can say that they were respectful of my family and our home; however that is separate from satisfaction of their work.5)      My wife was asked by Paul to help find hotel accommodations for him because he is homeless. He also asked my wife one day if he could have something to drink because he lived out of a hotel and did not have money that day; my wife obliged. 6)      We provided David a daily budget for materials; we did not run out of money. We never had them return because they were putting in time with little results. Furthermore after taking a closer look at the work they completed we noticed it was not satisfactory; we did not want them back. 7)      David agreed to come back and do more work; however we did not want them back.8)      According to the Revdex.com website there are three complaints from customers making his statement about a perfect tract record over the past thirty years open for much scrutiny. 9)      In addition to his personal witnesses I would like the opportunity to have our contractor provide a statement or discuss with you the many issues that he had to fix before he could continue working on our basement. I also have taken photographs of the obvious issues that I could see which will be sent as an attachment to this letter. In closing here is a list of issues we found with their work:1)      French doors were hung and unable to close because they were not shimmed2)      The framing on the window ceil made it impossible to open the windows3)      All drywall around the electrical sockets were so wide that the cover did not cover the hole4)      The drywall was put up without the use of spackling tape; only vast amounts of paste which was put on so thick it cracked after drying. 5)      The wall which they built out in the one room was not straight; it needed to be taken down and completely redone6)      The bi-fold door in the one office would not fit because the closet was crooked7)      The electrical sockets used throughout the basement were the wrong amperage and all tied into two circuit breakers8)      Several drywall sections were put up with spackle paste; no screws and fell down 9)      Several sections of drywall in the overhead were missing10)  They used spackle paste on the corners instead of using a metal corner beadIn the process of work, they damaged several of our walls and a lamp while bringing supplies into the house. They never cleaned up after themselves; I spent two hours taking out trash, sweeping the saw dust, cleaning the carpet; etc. Carpet is ruined due to excessive amounts of glue and spackle. We had asked that they not smoke in our home; which they did not adhere to. It smelled like smoke and I found several cigarette butts in the basement while cleaning. To date; while using QHI we paid approximately $6000.00 for materials and labor; we are asking for $4000.00 back as result. This amount is not including property damage. We would prefer going through QHI insurance to compensate for entire amount lost but no updated insurance info has been found. Regards, [redacted]Denver, PA [redacted]###-###-####[redacted]

Purchased solid rubber wheels and conversion runners from Kingston Saddlery Supplies a couple of years ago and I should have written a review then. Kingston Saddlery is exceptional. There was a sleeve missing when I received my order and their customer service is so good they should be a model for the rest of the business world. The missing piece was received two days later. The quality of their items and materials are just like their customer service: excellent. I refer all my distance driving friends to Kingston Saddlery Supplies and share my positive purchasing experience.

Quality Home Improvements was hired to start a job at our house on Oct. **, 2014. The work to be done was threefold...one job completed led to the next job. The first part of the work, a stucco job was done with a lack of consistency. The next phase was to demolish and erect a retaining wall by a garage driveway. After weeks of excuses and many delays, the demolition work was done and some debris was carted and the rest was left alone. No one came to finish the clean up, the wall was never erected and the final phase of the job, a fence to run around the perimeter of the property was never done. With a decent down payment given to the contractor on Sept. **, 2014, we thought that he would make more frequent contact to remedy the situation. Phone calls were left unanswered, meetings were rescheduled multiple times and in essence the job was never completed. We tried going to the address on the contract form but never was able to see the contractor...was told he doesn't live there anymore.

It is now June 2015, two letters were sent out to this company and were just returned....they were unclaimed. There is no satisfaction with this company. They are totally unprofessional and can not even admit the error of their ways.

We have since hired another contractor to finish the job this company was supposed to complete. I will never recommend this company to anyone. They have no idea as to the way they should treat their clients.

The word Quality is very misleading.....no quality here.....they give contractors a bad name. We were abandoned...do not be lured in by this very unprofessional company.

Review: I have a 2 bed-room small mobile home with my husband and my 6 year-old son. I want to expand my home to have more rooms for my expecting baby and my parents. On August [redacted] 2014, with recommendation from the mobile home manager, I signed a contract with [redacted] from Quality Home Improvement ( [redacted], Office: ###-###-####, Cell: ###-###-####). We agreed that [redacted] will do all permit, paperwork. Inside the house, he will move the kitchen to the living room, put up a wall to make the old kitchen into a bedroom, knock down a wall to make an old bedroom into the living room, laminate wood floor. Outside, he will add 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a small deck. [redacted] told me the job will be done in 2 months,, I agreed to deposit to [redacted] $10,000 as we signed the contract, another deposit $10,000 on the day he started the job September [redacted] 2014, and will give him the rest ($10,000) when he's done. About a week after he worked on my house, the [redacted] from the [redacted] came to my house, order to stop the job since [redacted] did not apply for the house permit. As I asked him why, he told me he did apply for the permit but the town lost his file. As I asked him to try to get the permit or give me money back if you could not continue, he said he wont give money back , he will apply for the permit . he keep telling me wait , but I did come to the building department and they said he never apply the permit . Until now , he never come back and leave my house with nothing finish inside and nothing outside work.Desired Settlement: I just want him to pay my money back , if not he should go to the jail because he is a robber. How can he do that with people .
