Deplorable operation. They profit off companies passing the buck to help in CYA behavior. Pray on small companies with their bloated contracts full of legalese and fine print. Stay away from them! And companies that contract with them. Bad news. They also go by RealPage. Another sign of a predatory company

This company has illegally changed information we submitted on our W-9 and then accused us of filling it out incorrectly. It was correct according to IRS guidelines for our type of business. Furthermore they have done it at least twice, on their website where we pull up our information. We will find out how to press charges if it happens again. Our W-9 has been accepted by every business and by the IRS every year since 1980 when we went into business as a partnership.

How do they have 25+ one star and 1 obviously fake 5 star rating and come out with a D- . They are an F for certain. I still have no idea how what they do is even legal. They entrap vendors who already earned contracts to pay them to do their customer's due diligence, then the customer doesn't pay their contract invoices because Compliance Depot hasn't been paid or the latest insurance hasn't been uploaded, or in most cases they show the customer that the vendor' s CD account is out of compliance but the vendor shows that everything in fine and is just wondering why they aren't getting paid. They are a wrench in the gears of a previously smooth running customer/vendor relationship. They are a greedy POS company with their hands in the the pockets of SMBs that actually provide products/services and serve no more good for the world than ticks.

-5 star rating! This company is the worst. Every review below is my exact experience with Compliance Depot.
Who do we talk to about this? My father is going to lose a account he has had for over 20years! He has not been paid! If he stops work the property maintenance will be behind. It will end up costing him other jobs to catch up. Do the new property management companies know this is happening? If so, they should be reported to the Revdex.com as well! It frightens me how much personal information we are giving these oversea companies. You are giving your insurance, social security, Tax ID, home and business addresses, We paid to give our personal information to a foreign country. We have no way of knowing our information is protected. How can anyone track down these people collecting this information? They often don't even give their names or a direct phone number to contact them. If you call there is no way to talk to a employee unless you choose "make a payment"or "billing". They will answer directly to take your credit card information! Property management companies making "Vendors" use this service should be fired! This is a terrible start to conducting business with them. They don't associate with compliance depot directly and can't help, they just wait for the "approval".
It's been over a month of submitting all their request, and we continue to be denied. Our insurance company was not taking their phone call, because they thought it was a scam. If you use this company, you are giving all your personal and businesses information away to a company that is not regulated by the United States. Your information can be shared if it gets in the hands of the wrong employee or owner of this company. I am doing their work and we have missed days of work trying to get them in contact with the insurance companies, because the forms are "not completed" or "not received" or they "have not been able to get in touch with the insurance companies". This is costing so much time money and energy, it's almost not worth keeping my fathers account he has had for over 20years! They are going to lose the most dedicated employee they have because of Compliance Depot and the new Property Management Company.

I feel that compliance depot is a scam company. We have paid our 99$ fee and sent in our required paperwork 7 times since January 15th. Our company works very hard to maintain our good name. At this point, I wouldn't want our company name associated with compliance depot/ real page. The person who took our money and gave us a name and password barely spoke English. It took close to an hour on the phone with her simply because I could not understand her. It is impossible to talk to a person after you pay your 99$ fee.

Will not even give one star. They hire people to go through your insurance certs and pick them apart. My insurance was up for renewal. Every contractor know it takes some time with audits ect to get them renewed ect. The properties hold your checks hostage for long period's of time which is not cool considering we were compliant when we did the work.

Now I have been fighting to get paid months for the work I did 3 months before my insurance was up for renewal. These people are the paper clip mafia and better hope they don't get sued for what they are doing. There is a way I will find out for all the trouble they have cause me and my company.

Also I am a registered contractor which they go off of my license to determine how much insurance I will need.
But a carpet cleaner gets by with the minimum requirements. Once they are in compliance depot as approved they go to the apartment office and say hey we do drywall paint demo and remolding then they start doing all the work I do for cheaper because they don't have to pay the large amount fees for insurance license fees ect. Your so good about reading what needs to be on the certs but don't do any type of Audits on the companies to find out what exactly they are truly doing. Thought your interest was to make sure venders are fully insured for the work they are doing. Carpet cleaners do not carry remolding insurance thy would go broke.

This company has people that are not insurance knowledgeable trying to verify customer's insurance and arguing with insurance agents!! I constantly have difficulty with insurance requirements although I carry the same insurance all along.

What a horror of a company! I have to pay for the "privilege" of providing service to my clients. All compliance depot does is collect my W-9 and a "master service agreement" which basically absolves them from any responsibility for anything. Their customer service is the worst - no one there has any idea what they are talking about. It's impossible to get anyone to answer a question and when they finally do answer, it makes no sense whatsoever. How do they manage to get my clients to sign up with them??? And last - t you can't get off automatic renewal, so they charge you annually for companies you no longer serve. This company is one big fraud
