Rebate International Reviews (%countItem)

Review: I submitted 2 [redacted] receipts for an advertised 11% rebate. One was to be for $2.46 and the other for $80.35. I completed forms and mailed as instructed. I received only the rebate for the $2.46. I then began the lengthy process of trying to find out about the other amount owed me. I had to do this all by e-mail. I also ended up having to send copies of what I had sent in originally as well as our e-mail correspondence up to that point, which I did.

I heard back from them fairly promptly but only to tell me that received my information and were reducing/adjusting my rebate amount to $53.79. When I asked why I was told because of price adjustments, exchanges and/or returned merchandise. I have made NO adjustments to what I purchased with that receipt. Everything I bought to repair my home (almost $800) has been picked up and the receipt is as it was.Desired Settlement: I want the entire amount of my receipts, without further hassle. I should receive, in total a rebate for $82.81.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: A while back I made several purchases from [redacted] that came with rebates. I filled out those rebates for a total of 72 dollars. After failing to receive my rebate I contacted Rebate international asking them to reissue a replacement one as I had never received the first. I later found out that someone had stolen the rebate and used 40 dollars of the rebate on the very same day that I reported it missing to rebate international. I contacted rebate international reporting it had been fraudulently used and asked them to reissue a replacement rebate. Rebate international cancelled my rebate but failed to issue another one. I contacted rebate international and was informed by them that it wasn't their problem. I informed them that it was in fact their problem and that I expected them to reissue the rebate. Again I was informed that it wasn't their problem and further correspondence were ignored.

After this time I got a PO Box at my local Post Office to ensure that if there was in fact mail theft it would not be an issue an issue in the future. However, just prior to getting a PO Box I send rebate international one last rebate (purchases I had made prior to determining never to do business with them again). This second rebate was issued for 62 dollars and was sent to my former address but due the fact that the rebates have a "do not forward, return to sender First Class Mail" I knew that I would not get it at the current mailing address. I informed rebate international of this and received a response of you have to send duplicates of the rebate via the mail. I replied by informing them that they had all the information on their website (I quoted it to them from the website via copy and paste). The next reply I received was that the issue was under review and that I should wait 3-5 days for a reply(this is the same notice I received just prior to never receiving additional contacts on the first rebate). Being as though the deadline has come and gone....and because I am getting sick of the run around I have decided to contact the Revdex.com. Needless to say, I will never be doing business with them again!Desired Settlement: Like I said before, I do not want to do anymore business with rebate international. They have failed to live up to their part of the agreement and I want my money back in cash.... 1st rebate 72 dollars + 2nd rebate 62 dollars = $134.00. The money that was stolen was stolen from them...not me.

Review: I sent in 2 rebate forms on items I had purchased at Menards. Rebate #[redacted] for $12.00 and #[redacted] for $5.29 on 1/13/16. They advise that a check has been issued in the amount of $17.29. Last 4 numbers of the check 0719. The forms I sent clearly stated my address as [redacted]. HOWEVER THEY CHANGED THE ADDRESS TO [redacted] AND SENT THE CHECK TO THAT ADDRESS. I have tried every way to contact Rebates International, however they will not communicate with any thing except email. I called Menards Corporate Office (They own Rebates International.) and was told again that they would only communicate with me by letter. I would like to talk with someone to see if that check has been cashed and, if not, can they stop payment on it? Or, are they going to issue me another check?Desired Settlement: Issue me another rebate check for $17.29.

Regards,

Review: I sent in a rebate for a fireplace that we purchased at Menard's Store in Pekin IL - it was sent in within the dates allowed. When I contacted them, they said the fireplace was not purchased at the regular price, so I did not qualify for the rebate. When I bought the fireplace, the clerk gave me a rebate form to send in for $30.69 rebate, and also another rebate for a screw driver that was for just $.33.......Desired Settlement: All I want is the $30.69 rebate that I was told I would receive when I purchased the fireplace at Menard's. I did contact Menard's and the customer service girl said they have lot of problems with Rebate International - I asked her, then why do you still deal with them? She did not have an answer but said she also had problems with them..

So, I want my rebate of $30.69 for the fireplace, and the $.33 rebate for the screw driver.

Thank you very much.

Review: I purchased a carpet pad in Menards back in May of 2014. One of the clerks in Menards gave me a slip to claim rebate for the pad. According to the slip, it says: Carpet Pad, PO Box 135 Elk Mound, WI 54739. Serial No. [redacted]. I sent the original receipt with a copy of the purchase total amount. However, I never heard anything from them. This month, I decided to communicate with the company only by e-mail because the company does not have any information to the public, except a box to send a message. I explained to them that I sent all the documents and I was wondering why they never received them. I received a response from them and a service rep told me to send the copies again. I sent them the copies again, and again, they told me they did not receive them. I called Menards and Menards verified the address. A supervisor from Menards told me that Menards has the same address I sent the documents.

Shortly after, I learned that the company PO Box is 99 not 135, but in the rebate slip does not say Po Box 99. I believe this company is deceiving people. The strange thing is that I never received my documents back from the mail. The post office always return the mail back when there is a wrong address.Desired Settlement: I want my rebate.

Response:

I hope they send me the rebate. I hope they are honest to trust them.

I appreciate if you close the case.

Again, thank you so much!

I purchased a couple appliances from Menards in Baraboo, WI. about 9 weeks ago. They had their 11% back rebate going on. I contacted Menards they first told me it would take 4-6 months to recieve my Rebate totaling close to $115.00 And told me to contact Rebate International and that they don't have anything to do with this rebate!!!!! Called them back again twice, got two different people and both told me that I should have the rebate back within 6-8 weeks in my hands. What a bunch of crap!!! I have been waiting for this rebate because I want to purchase a stove. The only reason I bought my appliances from Menards is because of this 11% back. You can only EMAIL rebates international and then their response is give them another 3-5 days to handle your email. What the [redacted]!!! It will be summer before I know what's going on. Well they said they sent my rebate out Feb 5th. It does not take no 14+ days to get that in the mail. Seriously!?! The stove Iam wanting to buy is only on sale until Feb 23rd and now it crunch time. Very Poor customer service on both ends. (Menards in Baraboo and Rebate International) I shouldn't have to for out another $115.00 at the time to buy this stove and then Menards will refund my account when I get my money back for the full amount of the stove and then minus the rebate??? WTH if Menards in Baraboo and Rebate International cannot handle the volume of Rebates within a timely manner and better customer service then DON'T do it! I am really starting to think I have been ripped off.

Review: I made a purchase at Menards on May 28 2015, during this time they were offering a 11% mail in rebate. I made a purchase of $3760.39 and my receipt stated that my 11% rebate amount was $380.09. So I mailed in my rebate form to rebate international. The rebate form stated I should expect my rebate within six weeks. Well two months went by and still nothing. When I checked the status of my rebate on their website, nothing. So I looked for a customer service number but the only option was to send a email. I sent an email and the only response I received was that they were still sorting through the rebates. So now it has been three months and still no response from rebate international and no rebate check in the mail.Desired Settlement: I would like for rebate international to send me my rebate check as stated on my receipt in the amount of $380.09.

Response:

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted]s concerns.I am sorry that Ms. [redacted] did not receive her rebate when she expected it. We have a "target date" of 6-8 weeks from the final mailing date in which to process and issue rebates. The final mailing date for the rebate in question was 6/20/15, eight weeks from that date was 8/15/15. The rebate was issued to Ms [redacted] on 8/12/15. Due to the enormous volume ofrebate submission during this rebate period, processing did take longer than usual. However, it was processed during the stated processing window. We are glad that Ms [redacted] took advantage of the rebate offer and appreciate her understanding in this matter.Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: We sent in our 11% rebate certificate for [redacted] during the required time frame in Jan 2014.

Rebates International was to, according to the contract on the slip, send us a rebate for the amount ($7. 26) in the US mail.

The slip that was delivered was torn and the rebate check cannot be used. We were directed to ask Rebates International to resend the slip.

When we asked, they are refusing to resend the slip unless we spend money to send back to shredded slip. We asked for postage since this is their delivery problem and they have not upheld their end of the contract. They are refusing to even talk to us.

This is akin to stealing $7.26 from us and we want our money.Desired Settlement: We want our $7.26 rebate check. If they want the shredded check back, they need to send postage, as the need to return the check was not part of the contract. The contract is that we send in the receipt and slip and they send the valid check.

They need to fulfill their end of the contract.

Review: I'm missing two Menard's rebates, totaling over $200 in store credit, and they can't seem to give me an answer on where my rebates are. They have no phone number listed, Menard's is no help (even though this is their rebate company). They were mailed 5/16/15 ($67.91 rebate expected) and 6/1/15 ($127.87 rebate expected). Other rebates mailed after this have been received, usually in about a month. It says allow 6-8 weeks for processing, and it's been that long. No phone number to call, no recourse other than email, and waiting for days for a response.Desired Settlement: I would like my store credit rebates as soon as possible. No reason I should have to wait this long, and I resent any company that doesn't list a phone number for customer service. That's just plain shady to begin with, and indicates that they're not interested in customer service.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Regarding this complaint, they did respond to me (only after I filed a complaint with Revdex.com). It has been resolved to my satisfaction, so you can close the complaint.

I was supposed to get over a $200 rebate from menards that went through Rebate International. It has been over 2 1/2 months and I have yet to get my rebate. I checked Rebate International's website and it said it was issued, only to be voided at a later date. There is no contact number to get a hold of these people which is shady in itself. I have emailed them several times and have yet to get a response.

Review: I purchased a butcherblock top at menards in warsaw, IN on 3-8-13 for $178.00 with a mail in rebate for $80.00 as advertised. I have did everything to redeem my rebate including filling out rebate internationals rebate form and than months later sending them the receipts for proof of purchase that they asked for because they claim they have no rebate in their system of mine. I have not received a response from rebate internationals after mailing them receipts of purchase.Desired Settlement: I just want my rebate as promised.

Review: I made several purchases at [redacted] St Paul MN store and have sent in 4 sales receipts with rebates totaling over $500.00. One receipt was for $179.89 and another was for $266.55. The amount that I should have received back in the form of rebate was (100% of purchase price) $445.44. After waiting 8 weeks I contacted Rebate International and there email response was they can't find my rebates. I believe [redacted] rebate program intently drags there feet so you cannot return any stuff purchased on rebate if you never get your rebate money owed to you. I am out the $445.44 because there receipts say that if you do not return any purchases by the date printed on receipt, that you are not entitled to a refund. They will however give you an in store credit. I believe that is part of their scam.Desired Settlement: I sent them copies of the 2 receipts above as well as 2 more receipts that they claim they don't have. I want a rebate check sent to me or my credit card refunded the balance due to me.

Review: We applied for a rebate for a purchase for 2 boxes of Northwoods Riverrock purchased on 5/16/13 from [redacted] in Cottage Grove, Minn. We picked up the order in Superior, Wi on 6/3/13. There was a rebate offered for $100.00 per box. We sent the rebate receipt in for payment on 5/18/13. We waited but did not hear or get anything from Rebate International. On September 9th we stopped at [redacted] in Superior to find out what had happened to the rebate. At that time they told us a check for 200.00 had been void on 7/3/13. We were never informed of this. On 9/12/13 I again sent a letter to Rebate International along with a copy of the receipts. We have not received 3 rebate checks that are in the form of a postcard. We have asked Rebate International to please put the postcard in an envelope and mail it to us or let us drive down to Elk Mound to pick it up. I am sure they have the wrong address on the postcard and have asked them many times to check the address on the card. We did receive a letter mailed to us from Rebates International that arrived here in 3 days so we know if they would mail it in an envelope it would arrive. We feel like they are putting us off and we just want to receive the rebate that we were promised when we purchased the rock.Desired Settlement: The $ 200.00 rebate from [redacted]
