I wish I had read some of these reviews before placing an order with Carbon2Cobalt Like many others I placed an order for a Christmas gift for my husbandThe order was placed on 12/While placing the order online I called to confirm that the shipping method selected would result in the package arriving in time for Christmas Once I got the tracking number, I checked it regularly and saw that it was supposed to arrive on 12/ Until today (12/22) Now it's not arriving until 12/27, meaning my husband is out of luck in terms getting his Christmas present on Christmas day
I'm sure that C2C will say this is the shipping company's fault Or that they fulfilled their obligation But in this day and age where 2-day shipping is inexpensive and reliable, the company really should be able to do better
I tried to reach their customer service, but they closed at 6pm ET and will not return until Tuesday (today's Friday) How is that possible that they would not have customer service available the weekend before Christmas??! I took a risk ordering from this unknown company because my husband loved their catalog, and now we're both paying the consequences

When I first saw a catalog, I thought of my son for Christmas I gave him a gift certificate The certificate arrived w/catalog at a great time for Christmas - as promised- and I think he will be buying more products! I also bought for my husband and he about wears them out - will be buying more for summer Great products

I usually shop at Orvis, however I received a Carbon Cobalt catalogue and thought I'd give them a try I ordered the Flagstone shirt and two Henleys I complained about how long the shipping was so they gave me free shipping It took almost a week and a half to get my order but I am pleased with the clothes They seem good quality and they look good on

Called customer service about an item I received different than pictured on the websiteWhen I asked if I could get the item as pictured on the site I was told my only option was to return the item I had received and get a refund; no other accommodation was offeredVery poor response when there is so much competition; will never order from this company again

After receiving numerous catalogs in the mail, I took a chance on a casual shirt While the shipping (standard) is a bit slow, it was received two days earlier than the stated terms In contrast to many of the other reviews here, I'm completely satisfied with the product Summer weight materials, which was clearly stated in the description, good quality, and nice fit! I've since ordered two more shirts, and a pair of shorts Satisfied, and happy customer here!

I ordered a sweater as a Christmas present for my son on December 14thThe standard shipping rate was $(a bit high considering many sites are free for over $100), it says allow to days, which seems fine being the 14th and there was no warning on their site or through the ordering process that I should have ordered an expedited service to get to me by the 24thAccording to tracking for the package it will get to me on the 27thI called an complained, I was told it was shipped on the 18th, my email from them clearly says it was shipped on the 15thShe said it was unexpectedly busy for them to process the order.....that fedex tries....but it is a busy timeWhat? Buyer beware - not specific to their products, but understand that when you order from them they have a very loose privacy policyIn short, they'll sell as much of your information as they canI liked a couple things in the catalogue and thought I'd try them out - nevermind their shipping fees - which are out of line with their competitors, but since then I've been inundated with catalogues from other companies that I've never heard ofI made a mistake here, but I pay pretty close attention to privacy policiesLearn from my mistake - just avoid shopping here.***

I am returning the leather jacket I bought from you about years agoI don’t want I back: the outer leather shell rips and tears far to easilyI have indicated the eight failures (two of which occurred at the same location left sleeve, see below) in the outer shell with blue tape
The first failure was a three-inch tear on the right chestOriginally I chalked it up to serendipity, and had the tear covered with a black, leather, embroidered (San Francisco) patch Since then, the jacket has acquired seven more tears, including the most recent catastrophic failure of the left arm at the location of an earlier, smaller tear
Simply put the outer leather shell of this “hoodie” is not up to the task Note there are no failures of the lining, i.ethe lining appears to be more robust than the outer leather shell!
I own eight other leather jackets, seven pairs of leather pants, two leather shorts and two leather vestsNone of the leather shells has ever torn on this clothingI can provide pictures if you likeThe oldest I bought was in in Germany, years oldWhile the (plastic) zipper is a little touchy, and the outer, maroon leather is scuffed, there are no rips or puncturesThe same can be said of an inherited brown leather bomber jacket from the ‘50s Some of the jackets have worn or torn linings, but none has a failed outer leather shell
I considered making the hoodie into a hooded vest by removing the sleeves, but it has far too many failures
I see this hoodie is no longer available on your websiteIf you are specifying the same leather on other products, I suggest you re-evaluate this leather with your supplier
My $“Essential Leather Hoodie” is worthless after only three years

I just placed my first order with Carbon2Cobalt today, but I am already wondering about this companyTheir shipping rates are not honest and, please, don't give me the line that this fee includes "handling"Handling the item before shipping is a usual cost of business, and should be built in to the item's priceIf you are going to charge a separate fee for that, how about charging extra for unpacking the cartons from your suppliers, or to cover your advertising costs, or your rent and warehousing costsCharging for "handling" conveys the impression to me that you consider filling my order an imposition that requires compensation for your trouble
And then there's the little notice that if you return anything, $will be deducted from your "return"This makes no grammatical sense, as you cannot deduct money from a "return"But I wonder if this is deliberate, in that perhaps they don't want to be too clear about what they are actually sayingBecause what they really mean is that you, the customer, will be paying the shipping cost for the returnThey state that a shipping label is included in the carton, which in the case of any other mail order company I've dealt with, means that the company will pay for the return shippingBut here, they appear to be playing the game of providing a label that, while it does cover the return shipping, the company then reimburses itself for the cost of the label they provided by taking $out of your refundThis is especially hard to swallow given that the initial shipping charges they impose are more than enough to cover the shipping cost of anything the customer might returnAnd you should not miss that in the catalog the $charge is described as a "small" feeA company that presumes to define for you what the impact of their fees are is being presumptuous at best, and subtly manipulative at worst, as in implying that you should be ashamed of yourself if you consider this fee as consequential
I ask the company not to react defensively to what I've writtenA potential customer who gives an accounting of his first impressions after interacting with a catalog and website is actually very valuableWhile I finally did, with misgivings, place an order, I wonder how many people react to what I reacted to and don't place an order that they otherwise would haveI would ask this company to become straightforward and honestIf you are going to charge the customer for returns, then stop the little subterfuges and say so honestlyCut your shipping charges to reflect actual costAnd it wouldn't hurt to reward high dollar purchasers with free shipping instead of punishing them with shipping rates that become ever higher with the size of the order

I ordered two shirts online on Dec On DecI received a notice that the package had shipped, but with only one item No indication of the status of the other item, although there was a blank space labeled "Back order" I called the company, and spoke to a person who said they would return my call within hours
After hours, I emailed, and got a response (Dec14) asking for hours to respond Now it is Dec17, and I have heard nothing, nor has the package arrived
I've done more than what's reasonable to find out what's going on I will never order from Carbon2Cobalt again

Be careful when ordering extremely high shipping costs and to ship anything back

Ordered a shirt on December, paid $for 5-day shippingMy account was charged that day for shirt and shippingReceived the shirt on DecemberShirt was too large, returned the shirt on December for a smaller sizePaid another to return, Carbon2cobalt then charged me for another shirt at $Now been charged $195, still no shirt on JanuaryCalled customer service at 8:CST, was told customer service agents were too busy to talk, was told to leave my info and a rep would call me backI heard nothing by 12:CST, called back and spoke to a repRep stated they would refund my money within 3-days, even though they admitted to having my return last week
In short, was double charged for one shirt with no resolution, will pay three shipping costs just to return a shirt two months after orderingThis company is a scam or the worst run online business I have ever bought from in my life, no hyperbole

Pending....It's early in the process since my order The shipping costs were/are extreme I have gotten a notice that my order shipped, but no tracking and no indication of backorder, etc I will follow up with a 1star or 5star depending on how this ends up

I was really excited when I received this catalogClothes looked unique, handsome! Ordered a shirt for my grandson's birthday on Jan Not shipped til Jan Checked the tracking info repeatedlySupposed to arrive EIGHTEEN DAYS LATER on Jan 19th(??!??) Now, tracking changed to Jan I PAID TEN DOLLARS to ship a shirt (how much can that cost?) and now it will not arrive in time for the birthday party This is not a way to do business! Most Amazon, LL Bean, Lands End and Patagonia items I have ordered have arrived within a weekI will never order from this business again!!

Made a purchase a week agoSame product on sale now for 40% offThis company will not do a price adjustmentRather, they advise that we must re-order the product again and pay shipping againPlus, we must ship back the previously purchased item, same as the item to be ordered and pay a $restocking/return fee This is HORRIBLE business practiceI will be posting this review everywhere that I am able! Will probably also just return the item, pay the fee and NOT repurchase, but spend my money elsewhere, with a retailer who has honorable and customer friendly policies! Get with the 21st Century, C2C!!

My experience with Carbon2Cobalt is identical to several other reviewers I placed an order on 12/4/18, I got a shipping notification right away, but the package did not arrive for quite some time One item back ordered, but was promised by 12/ I actuality the non-back ordered items didn’t arrive for quite some time The remaining item will now not be delivered until after Christmas, and didn’t ship until 12/ This is not free shipping, so I suppose I expected timely delivery Live and learn! Having now read that MANY others experienced the same customer service issues, I will not be ordering from this business again Their catalog is beautiful with great style options Their prices are higher suggesting a premium experience This is not the case with the service I feel quite frustrated!

I have bought many shirts for my husband through this company and have been completely satisfied with the products and the excellent customer service My husband loves the shirts from C2C and would own every one if he could! They are for the most part light and casual, they would be great for a beach vacation (but hey, we live in the mountains )I just ordered a jacket for him and wasn't sure which size to get, so they graciously sent me a free return labelThe only thing I wish was that the shipping didn't get more expensive, the more stuff you buyFor instance, free shipping over $or something like that would be greatAnyway, we are both very happy with this company

I've tried to purchase two items within the past six months and both have not been reported backordered when purchasing online I don't find out until after they have processed the order that the items are not in stock
