Review: I received a offer for a 'free' starter kit for Regal Ecigs (just $4.95 shipping). I did know that if I wanted to return the item I could do so at my expense to return it. It was presented that this was free and if I did not cancel within 30 days I would receive monthly refills that would be charged to me. It was not stated that if I kept it I would be charged for the 'free' starter kit as well as the monthly refills. It was not untill I got my order confirmation that I was told I would be charged for the free kit. I looked the up on google and it seems they are a bit of a scam.

I just got an RMA number to return this unused kit - after 20 minutes of telling the guy on the phone that I did not want to keep it and him ignoring that fact. I was also informed I would be charged a 20% restocking fee - this is the first I heard about that - I have no idea what that cost would be - they would not tell me a price. They also charged me $1.99 for insurance that I stated I did not want.Desired Settlement: I paid $4.95 to order this. I will pay for the return shipping, though I shouldn't have to. I would like a refund of the $1.99 insurance charge and I would like no more charges to my account - and no restocking fee.

Dear [redacted],

Review: I signed up for a free sample of E-cigs when a pop up said I had won a "special prize" after I had placed a order with Wal-Mart online. This was a FREE starter kit with no additional products to purchase. I agreed to the $4.95 charge for this and did not sign up for any additional auto shipments. I was later charged $119.95 with a $2.40 ISA fee which was never authorized along with the fact that I never received any correspondence or billing from this company. They are unwilling to refund the amounts that they were not authorized to charge. This company scammed me for money that was never authorized for them to draw from my account. I did see where I could purchase additional e-gigs at a discount for a 3 or 6 month "special price" however I did not click on that, I clicked no on that part and yet have been charged for this anyway and these charges were never authorized. The worse part is the product is no good.

I contacted my credit card company to stop charges and thought it was resolved but now the business has resubmitted the charges AGAIN.Desired Settlement: Since this was not authorized I want the funds refunded to my account and no further charges to be taken from my account. I also think the Attorney Generals Office should be notified of this so called business, I see there have been 170 complaints filed and 100 of those within the last year.

Dear [redacted],

Review: I took the trial offer for 4.95 did read that I had til June 18th to cancel. Called to cancel and was offered an extension and basically denied to cancel. So they kept me from cancelling til they could charge me and not refund the money. This is poor customer service don't recommend this company.Desired Settlement: Would like full refund.

Dear [redacted],

Review: This company was adverised on [redacted] or [redacted] etc for help stopping smoking you could send for free sample when I did that there was a $4.99 shipping fee find I paid it but only that! I recieve the prouduct and then there are papers I thought said if you cancel in 14 days they can charge you $59 so I kept it waiting for 20 days or so only to find my bank account overdraft of $123 for part of there charge and then overdraft fee. I didn't know if I'd like or use the product one reason I waited. But asI told them a pkg of tobacco and papers would cost me less than $20 so why the hell would I pay $120 for their product! I'd rather smoke sorry to say. But they DID NOT at the time of ordering show any evidence of ripping me off like this now bank is charging me $5 everyday I can't pay I am on SS as it is and can't pay the bank back til my check comes omg I'll have no money for next month to live on at all with all he extra charges!!And this company says they are going to keep 20% of the charges if I return it for restocking fee's! One heck of a "FREE OFFER" if you ask me!!This type of backstabing cheating should NOT be allowed I'd appreciate your help will this issue. Also another Co did auto charge's on my acct. but they straightened everything out gave me a full refund etc. What I'd like to see is if you or I am going to write senators can help pass a bill where Co's must notify you before money is taken from your account. I would prefer some of these not be on auto charge at he banks but you must use a credt card at time of purchase if you do the add you automatic to auto pay plan Its not right!!!!!!!!!! Or make one's bank verify auto pay's. Too often this happens and we can do nothing! Can you help please!!!!!!!Desired Settlement: I'd like a full refund and possibly some of the overdraft fee's removed from my acct. I don't think its fair for a person to be charged due to other's GREED and to me theft!! I don't think it is fair for a company to offer free trial offer then stick you with any of the payment! By right they did not giveme a free trial offer I had to foot up $4.99 for them to send it let alone them stealing my funds for the month I now have no money and am in debt over a "FREE ITEM" HELP UNDO THE GREED PLEASE

Dear Ms. [redacted],

Review: I received a e-mail coupon back in early August to buy this "limited offered" e-cig starter kit for the shipping and handling price of only $4.95. About 2 weeks later when I was getting ready to go to California for a family emergency $119.95 was taken out of my bank account. I called them and they said it was a trial offer, that they "assumed" since they didn't hear from me after the 14 day trial period I was keeping the product and was "okay" with them taking the full amount out of my account. I never read anything that said that, never received a e-mail stating that would be the case or a letter. They "assumed"? I was then told I could return the product and would get a refund, minus their 20% restock fee. That I should see close to $95.00 back in my account within 2 weeks. I called a month ago and was asked for the packing ship number, was told with that number they could refund the money right that very second, I searched and searched for that paperwork. I had just moved and have no idea where it is. The product was returned with their RMA # all over the outside of the box. I sent a e-mail 4 days ago and got the same reply, we cannot find the returned product without the shipping number.

I am very frustrated and very unhappy with their lack of concern, professionalism and lack of communication on their intent.Desired Settlement: I would like to see my money back in my account and them to have better communication with people in the future about their intent on just taking money out of bank accounts. Call the person after a week and ask how they are liking the product and let them know the FULL amount will be taken out of their bank account if they decide to keep the product. Make sure the person knows how very important keeping track of that tracking number is, or they will not get a refund since they can't seem to find your package at any time!!!

Dear Ms. [redacted]

Review: They sent me an email to try these and I have a friend that wanted to try them so I ordered it for 4.99. I didn't notice that the small print says that if you do not cancel and send them back that they would charge your credit card 119.99. Then every few weeks they charge you 69.99 for refills. My fault for not reading the small print but I cant even read it anymore. I do feel like they do it on purpose and they rip people like me off.... I think it is a scam however may be legal but definitely not moral to do. I want other people to know and be warned.... I probably will never see my money but maybe no one else will lose theirsDesired Settlement: I would like my money back but if not I would like their name to be out there...

They just don't mention that you'll only receive a portion of your money returned due to the "restocking fee" and the customer is responsible for return shipping as well.Desired Settlement: I want to return this product at no cost to me. and I want a FULL REFUND for the month of July, which is nearly 100.00

When I call in they said. It's in the contract which I've never seen. If I want to refund, I've to pay restock fee 15% FOR THE PRODUCT THAT I didn't order. They claim that it was in the contract. I'll have to pay shipping both way which is about $**. so bad that company doing business this way.Desired Settlement: I want company to give me full refund of something that I didn't order. I do not want the $4.95 I got what I paid for. But I would like them to give my $119.95 that they took from my account. Thank you for all the help .

Dear [redacted],

Review: January of 2015 a survey from GOOGLE popped up online and said I would get a free gift of the Regal Cig. The only charge I was to incur was $3.99 for shipping. That was supposed to be it. I was billed $3.96 on Jan 12 and again $1.99 on Jan 12. On Jan 30, 2015 they then charged me an additional $119.95. They then told me I could send the product back for a 50% discount but I would be charged an additional $95.00 for the reorder. The advertisement was misleading. The rep told me I should have read the fine print but before I ordered I check to see if there were any other charges and didn't see anything so I don't know what fine print she is talking about.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $119.95 charge they took out of my checking account per debit card. I had to close my checking account to make sure they don't add anymore charges, which means I had to pay for more checks and it was inconvenient.

Dear [redacted],

Pop up offering FREE e-cig for shipping only. I was billed $ 1.99, $3.99 and then $ 120 for the e-cig, no where did it state I would be charged additional money or that it was a trial. Regal cigs is a scam! received the item and it didn't even work!

Visa fraud as far as I am concerned.

Review: I received a pop up ad for a free trial of Regal Ecigs if I only paid S&H. I accepted it and later learned that if I kept the "free trial merchandise", I'd have to pay about $120.00 and I would be enrolled in an automatic shipment program where mdse. would be shipped to me monthly and, of course, I'd be responsible for paying for it at the tune of about $120.00 monthly. I told them that I didn't want this offer because I don't smoke that much and it would be a waste of money for me. Then they told me that if I don't keep the "free" starter kit and enroll in the automatic shipment program, I'll be responsible for the return shipping charges and also a restocking fee of 20%. I didn't see any mention of all this in their advertisement so when I received their shipment, I marked it "return to sender" and didn't accept it. Of course, that's left me with no cigarettes for about a month which isn't good for a nicotine addict.Desired Settlement: I'd like to not have any more communication with this company and would like to have my initial payment refunded. Also, some extra cash for the suffering I went through without nicotine for a week would be nice.

Thanks

Dear [redacted],

Review: I ordered a "free" Regal Premium Starter Kit on 09/05/2013. I was required to pay S&H, which I did via debit card. The terms annoted on the order confirmation, Order ID [redacted], stated the billing and membership information. I decided to return the starter kit prior to the 14 day deadline for charge to my debit card for the starter kit and to cancel auto ship enrollment. When I call the customer service number (1-888-822-5977) I was given an RMA code for the return and was then informed that I would not only have to pay for return shipping, but that I was also to be charged a 20% restocking fee of $23.99. When I complained, the customer rep stated it was clearly stated in the terms and conditions, section 4. This was not clarified on the order acknowledgment, nor on the leading online offer advertisement they have posted online. This seems like a typical "bait and switch" scam in which they get you to try their "free product" but they charge you for the privilege of returning the product and for following their indicated return policy.Desired Settlement: Stop Regal Cigs from charging my debit card the 20% restocking fee for the return of merchandise per their own corporate guidelines.

Dear Ms. [redacted],

Review: While working in Tempe, Az on a long term residential remodeling job, I read an advertisement by Regal Cigs while searching online for ways to stop smoking. This ad stated that you could purchase their Starter Kit for $3.95, which I purchased on 02-21-2015. Not having a printer available, I did not print out a copy of the receipt. Later to find out, the following information was provided to my bank, showing what was stated on the receipt: By purchasing this trial starter kit, you will receive a special discount on your Regal Cig starter kit and are enrolled in our convenient refill membership program. In 14 days, you will be charged for the starter kit. Then every 30 days thereafter you will be billed and automatically sent 10 replacement cartomizers (equivalent to 20 packs of traditional cigarettes). If you wish cancel your membership before the end of the 14-day trial period, please call customer service department to be issued a RMA (return merchandise authorization) to send it back. A couple of weeks later, a $119 charge from Regal Cigs appeared on my credit card. I notified my bank that I did not authorize the charge and disputed it. Tried several times to call their customer service number and always got a prerecorded message stating all their reps were busy. When I returned home in May, I opened their package containing the starter kit and another envelope containing my banks dispute findings, which both contained information not given prior to the purchase. With this information, my bank reversed my dispute, stating they could find no wrong doing for the charges.Still unable to contact them by phone, I sent an email to the address provided to my bank, requesting a RMA. I returned the unopened/unused started kit, with the RMA number they issued, by USPS Priority Mail with tracking, (showing received on 6-1- 2015) to the address given. As of 7-18-2015, I have not received a refund for the $119 charged after the initial purchase price or any response to emails sent.Desired Settlement: Refund for the unopened/unused Trial Kit that was received 6-1-2015 at the return address stated on Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA number and USPS tracking confirmation available by request).

Hi, I have reviewed all the notes on the customers account along with the customers information filed with the Revdex.com. When a customer files a chargeback with the bank, we can no longer issue a refund. That decision is now in the hands of the bank.

Review: I took a survey from Verizon and at the end of the survey there was a gift I could choose for taking the survey. I only had to pay the shipping of $3.95. I chose Regal Cigs, I used my bank card to pay for the shipping and I received the product. Two weeks later my bank account had a withdrawal of $119 from Regal Cigs that I never authorized and now I got an email stating I am in some sort of membership and they are going to charge my account every month again for something I never authorized. I want this stopped and I want my $119 back, this is such a scam and I am sure I am not the only one this has happened to.Desired Settlement: I want my $119 placed back in my checking account or a check for this amount and whatever this membership that they illegally have me in, cancelled. I want this done as soon as possible.

Review: I received an offer from regal e=cig through my e=mail. I had just got home from the hospital, and wanted to try something to quit smoking,so I ordered my FREE STARTER KIT, and agreed to pay for shipping by entering my debit card. Regal has since charged my account $119 for the free kit, and also $85 shipping more supplies, which I received today, but is not opened and not wanted. the product has been used 1 time, and not satisfied. I have been on disability since november with another surgery coming up and unable to work.for another 3 months. This company is not ethical in its practices and should not be allowed to do business. I wish to return this product for a full refund.

iDesired Settlement: I wish to return this product to Regal for a full refund

Response:

Dear [redacted],

I apologize for the confusion. This is the initial charge for the starter kit after the 14 day trial expired ($119.95) and the automatic monthly refills shipped every 30 days after you have been billed for the starter kit ($89.90).

Just for clarification, this charge was generated based on the Terms and Conditions on the checkout page where you inputted your credit card information.

"Terms & Conditions: If you select the 14 day trial you agree to pay just shipping and handling. For your convenience, we will automatically enroll you in our Regal Refill Plan, and you will receive a monthly supply of cartomizers for just $79.95 plus $9.95 for S&H, a savings of over 50% on traditional cigarettes! If you decide to keep the starter kit and do not cancel before the 14-day trial expires your card will be charged $119.95 for the starter kit, which will include a one month supply of cartomizers. A restocking fee may apply on returns. If you are not 100% satisfied, cancel at any time!"

You can view the terms and conditions at the bottom of the page in this link: https://www.tryregalcigs.com/term.html

You may return both the starter kit and refills for a refund. I have issued you an RMA number for both the starter kit and refills and return instructions have been sent to you via separate email. We will send you a confirmation email once we receive the returned products and you will be refunded after the return has been processed.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions on return procedure.

Sincerely,

Regal Cigs

Dear [redacted]

Review: I took part in a free trial offer for this product, nowhere did it advise that it was only a 14 day trial and if you did not cancel within the 14 days that there will be an automatic enrollment of the Premium Starter Kit which is $89.95 plus tax, a total of $119.95, and that it would automatically charge monthly. I ordered the trial on 12-27-13 I received and charge of $119.95 on 2-2-14. I promptly contacted Customer Service. When my call was answered it did not sound like an actual business, the company's name was never said, and without giving any information the rep asked for me to hold while he pulled up my account. I explained my situation and that I did not even have the product nor did I authorize said charges. The rep placed me on hold to come back to tell me there was nothing he could do, I told him that was not acceptable then I was again placed on hold then told I could get back 25%, again not acceptable, placed on hold once more, then told that he could lose his job but he was going to offer me 50% of my money back out of his personal employee discount fund for a total of $59.97 and that it could take 3-5 days and if I did not get my money to call my bank because it will be their fault. I also tried to make sense of his reasoning I was not charged on the 15th day after the order and charged over a month later, he had no explanation. I have since reported this charge to my bank and they have forwarded this to the Fraud Dept.Desired Settlement: I feel that I should be completely reimbursed the amount of $119.95 and this business should no longer be allowed to scam other consumers or at the least the information that is mislead be disclosed and accepted before any purchase is made even if it is 'the fine print'.

Dear [redacted],

Review: I purchased Regal Ecigs on a trial period for 14 days after receiving the product discovering that this was not the product for me. I then called for return information to learn that I would be charged a restocking fee upon my return of this product, but I never agreed to but being that this company had my credit card information they charged my card $59.98 and said that I was advised of the fee. Yes but never did I agree to pay (a big difference). After the product was returned I was online in my checking account I learn of these charges. I immediately contacted Regal Ecigs for a refund for the charges. Customer Service disconnected my call twice before getting to someone who would listen to me but she stated that I needed the tracking number for the refund all but the restocking fee of $23.99 and refund my card in 3-5 days $35.99. This company make money after receiving their product back due to using my credit card without my authorization.Desired Settlement: To refund my credit card the $23.99 plus the $4.95 S/H a total of $28.94 for a product used and returned in 14 days and let consumers know of the hidden charges.

Dear [redacted],

Review: I ordered from Regal Ecigs for a trial basis and when trying the product I was dissatisfied with the product . I was charged 119.95 for the free trial a week after I received the product. I called because I was dissatisfied with the product and the price of the product I received what I consider total worth of about $39.95. Which is what I purchased basicly the same thing from another Ecig company. When I called with my dissatisfaction with the price and the flavor of the product ,they told me if I send the product back I still would be charged with I restocking charge .Plus I would have to pay for the Shipping. They pressured me into staying and refunded me $29.98.The service rep.Told me I would be charged full price for any purchases if I didn't stay on the auto shipping which they would only extend to a three month extension and if I wanted to keep it being sent to me other then every month I would have to call each time to extend or I would have product sent to me every month there after if I didn't call. I was so upset about they pressure sales that I agreed at the time. After thinking about it I called a few days later and told them to cancel me from having anything to do with their product and I told them to keep my money because I felt the whole thing was a scam to be set up the way it is. They gladly discontinued me since they have nearly $100 of my money.I want this reported so others will not fall into this trap like I did. I've ran several businesses in my live and Have never mislead or high pressured anyone. This is no way to run a business.regal ecigs are ripping off the public in my opinion and there should be something done about they way they handle things and charge people. Thank you in advance for any thing that can be done to help stop them .truly : [redacted]Desired Settlement: i'd like a complete refund . I'm tired of companies handling things the way they do.
