Review: Got a popup on my computer for an e-cig for 3.95 and I thought hey this is a great deal cause they are like 30 bucks in the store. it was supposed to be free just pay the shipping. it never said anything about a trial offer and no other terms were listed in the pop up, so I ordered it. I recieved the e-cig upon using it for two days I developed severe bronchitis and was told to discontinue use so I did. After about a week I noticed they had taken out almost 120 dollars from my account so I called the company, the representative at this time told me that it was only a trial offer and I had 14 days to send it back and they would refund the money so I informed him I would be sending it back. I went to the post office and sent it back with tracking. I made sure it had arrived then I called back after the money still hadn't been refunded. spoke with a woman that refused to give her name, refuseds to transfer me to the dept that could help me cause she said that dept didnt accept calls, asked to speak to a supervisor was told one wasnt available and wouldn't be available. was told id eventually get my money back but have been unable to yet!!!!!! I purchased this item under false pretenses only becauseof the great deal they made on their advertisement only to realize there were terms and conditions that were left undisclosed. Why would I pay $120 for a $30 product knowingly??? Answer is I wouldn't have!!!Desired Settlement: I would like to see that this company doesnt rip anyone else off by their false advertisement and I would like my money refunded immediately with interest!!!!!!!!!!

Dear [redacted],

Review: I ordred a starter kit on 3/3/14. the order confirmation states "If you wish to cancel your membership before the end of the 14 day trial period, please call customer service deptartment to be issued and RMA# to send it back" When I did so I was told I was going to be charged a $23.00 restocking fee to end the program. No where on the order confirmation or in my initial purchase for the starter kit did it state this.Desired Settlement: I do not want to pay a "re-stocking fee", I never agreed to it when I signed up, it was not in the agreement.

Dear [redacted]

Review: I was on a Walgreens site a box pops up and tells me I won a free E-cigarette, So I thought I would get it for my son who is a heavy smoker, It tells me all I had to do is pay shipping, So I put my information and credit card number for shipping so I did that and they sent me a email that they woud be sending it to me, went to bed, checked my email next day they sent me another email, they that I will be charged a monthly charge for chemicals, and I could cancel it, so I called and canceled that day, they tell me I had to wait tell I got the E-cigarette before I could cancel it, so I got it in the mail and called to cancel it, they gave me a RA number 562298121284 to cancel it, they told me a 20 percent restocking fee would be charged, come to find out they charged me $23.99 They should of told me this when I got the first email about the monthly chemical fees, and a restocking fee, they wait then send me a second email, after I order the FREE E-cigarette, that was misleading me, they are crooks, they should of let me know about these fees before I ordered the E-cigarette, No they wait tell I order it, then sent me a second email to tell me that there will be a monthly fee.Desired Settlement: I want my money back after they mislead me.

Dear [redacted],

Review: I ordered an electronic cigarette that was stated to be only the shipping cost. I was not directed to any site that would explain the billing of said item, or terms of agreement. They took $119 out of my account without any consent. I did not agree to pay anything extra than the shipping. I thought that the company would make their money on the refills, but it turns out that it's a scam to bilk you of your hard earned money. I would never have agreed to this transaction if I new or was told that it would cost any more than shipping. This company has found a loop hole so they can basically steal a persons money month after month. If I had prior knowledge of the billing system I would never have done this. THERE WAS NO INFORMATION ABOUT THIS BILLING PROCESS UNTIL IT WAS ALREADY TO LATE. I know that there have been very many complaints about this company and their shady business practices. It should be illegal to do what they are doing to consumers. The only thing I want is my money refunded and to never have to communicate with them again. Please help me in this matter as I have no where else to turn for help.Desired Settlement: This company should refund my money and stipulate initially upfront what the true cost of their product is to other consumers.

Dear Mr. [redacted],

Review: Like many others who have complained, I was scammed by Regal Cigs. I signed up for a trial starter kit (for $4.95), but when I got the confirmation e-mail I saw it was a membership service. This was not mentioned in the pop-up "free trial" ad, nor were any terms & conditions posted. Their confirmation e-mail mentioned that it was a 14-day "membership" (which was not mentioned in the ad). It also states it is a 30-day money back guarantee. I tried to cancel within the 14 days, but they had to "re-set" their system password. By the time their system "re-set," it was 1 day past the 14 days and I got charged $120! But wait... they could offer me a 20% restocking fee ($24) or give me the cartridges for 50% off ($60). Of course, that would mean actually agreeing to their terms, which I definitely do not agree to. Either way, I am out additional money. They kept trying to tell me that I'd agreed to their terms and conditons, which I did not... and then they explained that I needed to go to their Web site to see them. What a complete scam! I will also be reporting this to my VISA.Desired Settlement: Refund of the $120 charge on my VISA and cancellation of enrollment in the membership program.

Dear [redacted],

Review: I signed up for what I thought was a FREE sample of Regal Ecigs. I did not see any stipulations other than that the product sample was free.

I was charged $119.95 for the sample AND put on a reoccurring mailing for $56.45 for each mailing.

Company rep says that the sample was free for a trial period of 30 days, and since I did not return the product within 30 days I was charged $119.95.

Also I will have to pay postage for the current mailing that was sent without any warning. supposedly I will be refunded for that mailing when they get it back. My credit card company says there is nothing I can do about the $119.95 but that they will help me with the current charge of $56 if the company does not refund it.

My complaint is false advertising/ misleading advertising that got me caught up in a scam requiring me to pay $119.95 for what was advertised as free AND getting on an automatic mailing that was not clear enough for me to understand as well.

I did not like the sample right away and would have sent it back right away IF I had known what was going on; instead I gave it to a friend who is trying to quit smoking.

Please let other unsuspecting customers know what a dishonest company this is.Desired Settlement: I would like for Regalcigs.com to refund all charges to my credit card.

Dear [redacted],

Review: Upon ordering a free pack of Regal E Cigarettes for the price of shipping and handling ($4.95) I was informed on the receipt of billing and membership information that was not previously disclosed which reads as follows;

"With your trial, you have been enrolled in our refill membership program. In 14 days, you will be charged for the starter kit. Then every 30 days thereafter you will be billed and automatically sent 5 replacement cartomizers. If you wish cancel your membership before the end of the 14-day trial period, please call customer service department to be issued a RMA (return merchandise authorization) to send it back."

There are no prices listed above which aroused my concerns. Upon extensive searching I found that the charge for the starter kit is $119.00 and I am still not sure what the monthly cartomizer refill charge would be.

I have cancelled within the 14 Day Trial period and now I am expected to pay for return shipping and a restocking fee of 20%. When speaking to a representative I was finally told this fee would be $23.99. There was no mention of when this charge would transpire.

My complaint is simple. I agreed to pay $4.95 to try a product and after my bank information was accessed, I found myself committed to a membership, purchase of a product and it's refills, with no mention of what charges I had been misled to accept.Desired Settlement: I have paid $4.95 to try a product only to realize that I had been misled into purchasing the product one way or the other. I will pay to ship it back with mailing confirmation of delivery. I have not purchased this product and have cancelled my "membership" within the 14 Day Trial period and refuse to authorize a "restocking fee" withdraw on my bank account. If I am charged I will file a criminal complaint for fraudulent credit card activity.

Dear [redacted],

Review: While on Costco.com, a pop-up came up asking if I wanted to participate in a survey about Costco in exchange for a free gift. I took the survey, then chose Regal e-cigs as my free gift. The email I was sent to confirm my order stated:

"Hello [redacted]

Your order is on its way! Please refer to the "Getting Started Guide and Frequently Asked Questions" included with your kit if you have questions about the operation of your product.

If you are not fully statisfied, you may return your products to our warehouse for a refund. To return a product, you must first contact customer service and obtain an RMA (return merchandise authorization) code. Refunds will not be processed without an RMA code. All returns must be within 30 days of purchase. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer."

I was led to believe from the onset that the starter kit was free, and I had 30 days to cancel the auto ship program. I was a little surprised that I would have to return product since it was advertised on the survey as a FREE GIFT. But I dutifully called within 30 days, only to find that they had already charged my bank account $119 for the starter kit. Their customer support explained that if I didn't cancel within 14 days, they charge for the full cost of the starter kit, as well as set up an autoship for monthly supplies. They referred me to their website for more details.

I then called Costco to complain about this promotion linked to their survey. They denied having any surveys. The pop-up was pfishing.

These people represented themselves as a free gift using the name of Costco. I believe it is unethical to claim to be associated with Costco when they weren't and that the offer of a "free gift" was completely misleading since they intended to charge me for the "gift" if I chose to keep it.

Please do something about these crooks.Desired Settlement: I want the full $119 I was charged for my FREE gift to be refunded.

Dear [redacted],

Review: While viewing the website of my favorite outdoors company, Cabela's, a pop-up screen appeared offering a free gift for completing their survey. Assuming it was something offered by Cabela's I did so and was then given a choice of free gifts. The gift card was no longer available, so I picked the electronic cigarettes from Regal Cigs. I agreed to the shipping and handling charge of $4.95 and provided my credit card information. A week or so later, my wife was viewing our credit card statement on-line and noticed a charge from GetRegalCigs.com was pending. We called and was informed of a 14 day trial offer along with courtesy sign-up for monthly delivery of their product (none of this was explained when I selected my free gift). So, we cancelled but on June 2, the charge was finalized. Again we called and then was offered all sorts of options, but returning the product we would be charged a restocking fee. So, what I thought was a free gift from Cabela's turned into a scam. We talked to our credit card company to dispute the charge and that is under review. We have called the company numerous times, but nothing has resolved to our satisfaction. Upon further research, many complaints have been filed with the Revdex.com and I've uncovered several websites which this company is functioning under and several phone numbers (ex. regalcigs.com; getregalcigs.com). I feel this is a bait and switch fraud among many other deceitful practices. Please investigate their practices so others might avoid this type of scam.Desired Settlement: We would like the charge of $119.95 credited back to our credit card and if we have to return the "free" product, the company should not charge a restocking fee. Also, since I paid the shipping and handling already for the "free" product, the cost to return should be paid by the company. Since this entire deal was based on fraudulent practices, I should not have to pay anything.

I would also like Revdex.com to find out all the websites this company is using. I found two, but I am sure there is more. Thanks, [redacted] and [redacted]

Dear [redacted],

Review: I ordered 30 day FREE trial on 1-6-14, just pay s & h.. was unable to get the price of s & h until I entered my shipping information. It was $4.99 and I agreed and ordered it. When I got my confirmation email, it included additional terms stating my CC would be charged in 30 days for $119.00 and every 30 days there after if I did not cancel my order before 14 days. They would be mailing additional cartridges monthly. I received my "free starter kit" 1-10-14 and did try the product, however honestly did not like it plus was very disgruntled on their scam and false advertising. I called customer service to cancel and was really pressured and given the run a round before finally receiving return instructions with a return number. I have to pay for the return postage plus a 20% restocking fee, which is $23.00! no where is that disclosed before order is placed...you cannot cancel after it is placed without being charged the restocking fee. In the meantime, Regal has my credit card information and will bill my card either way. This is the email I received to return it...not showing the info about restocking fee.. but have been advised verbally several times they will charge my CC:

Dear [redacted],

Review: After making an online purchase with Amazon, a free gift was offer. One of selections for the free gift was a starter kit for Regal Cigs. The only requirement was to pay for postage and the kit was offer as the free gift. The postage was paid using my debit card. The ad did not mention that this a trail offer or that any additional charges would be debited to my account. After having the starter kit for more than a month, the charge showed up on my bank account. I have attempted to contact the company by phone from a number on the internet and from a costumer service number given to me by my bank after I disputed the charge with them.

A recording comes on indicating that no one is available to take my call. A voice mail message has been left on all numbers contacted.

At no time did the free gift ad mention that an additional charge would be debited from my bank account. It was advertised as a free gift with only postage being paid. I did not authorize any additional charges. Also there was no terms of agreement section as some companies have when a consumer is making a purchase. I did not use the produce but gave it to my daughter. I am unable to get the product back from her at this time. Even if I cannot get my money back ($119.95), I am hoping that this company can be sanctioned for his defective ads.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the $119.95 returned to my bank account which was debited without my authorization. The product was accepted as a free gift with postage paid by this consumer.

Review: Amazon.com offered a free trial of Regal cigs for shipping charges only. Not only was insurance added to the cost without my knowledge, but also against my knowledge or will I was signed up for their "program," which meant I would automatically receive monthly shipments of ecigs and billed accordingly. At this point I wish to cancel the entire order. I had to call them for a RMA# in order to return this Starter Kit, which I will do first thing Monday morning.Amazon should not do business with a company that operates in this manner!Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for all my expenses.

Review: Company sold me an e-cigarette product without clearly indicating that I was signing up for automatic monthly shipments of the product at a much larger price. I used a credit card for the purchase. The order number assigned to me is 635684.On arrival of the first automatic shipment, I immediately called the company, cancelled, and requested a return authorization and refund of the $84.90 charged my card. They emailed me an RMA number on April 1, 2014 and I returned the product. They then emailed me a "Return Notification" on April 25, 2014 indicating that they had received the returned product and stated that my refund would be processed within 48 hours. As of this date (June 6, 2014) I have not received the refund.Desired Settlement: That the company reimburse my credit card the $84.90 they charged for a product they acknowledged receiving back.

Dear [redacted],

Review: On or about April 16, 2014, I received a "popup notification" on my computer pro-porting to be a survey on my satisfaction with using the Mozzilla web browser. After answering a half dozen questions I was told I won a gift of a free e-cigarrette "starter pack. I had to give my credit card info for a $4.95 shipping fee. There was no mention of any other obligation or fee.

Subsequently I was charged $119.00, for not returning the "starter kit" within 14 days.

I called Regal and was told that I could not return the "gift" past the 14 day period.

My order Number is 728062

The internet and your own experience with this company proves Regal is a scam.

I later found out that the "pop up" was caused by a malware and not from Mozzilla.Desired Settlement: I would like my $119.00 back

Review: I was told that I had won the starter kit-all I had to do was pay the shipping. Then I receive them and get an email that I would be billed $119.95 for the kit. So I called them and told them I was returning them and not to take the money out of my bank account. Now today they took the $119.95 out of my bank account.Desired Settlement: Refund of my $119.95 to my bank account

Review: Regal Cigs...On-line Free for just the price of postage ($4.95) Little did I know they were going to charge me $[redacted] less than a month later.I saw my acct. charged over the holiday weekend (Thanksgiving) so there so nothing I could do until the Monday after Thanksgiving. Customer service said if I want a refund I had to have it reach Arizona by 12/6- They tried to let me keep product with 50% refund. If returned they would charge a "restocking fee". I called customer service on 12/6 asking where my refund was (returned received 12/4) and customer service said, "Oh we haven't received it yet" I replied "You certainly did on the 4th". He wanted the tracking number wici I gave him...still haven't received me refund. (12/9)Lesson Learned: Nothing in life is FreeDesired Settlement: $119.95

Response:

[redacted]l, your account was refunded on 12/10 after we received the return. The remaining balance of the restocking fee was refunded on 12/16.

Review: regal cigs does not give accurate information regarding so called trail offers. this lack of info led to me being billed 114.75 dollars for a 4.95 free trial offer .this was followed up a month later with arefill order of 94.60 that I did not order or want . I called thier customer service dept and they told me to return the refill and they will refund the 94.60 minus a 20 % restocking charge. As to the original charge of 114.75 they told me it is to late to get a refund.

Response:

Dear [redacted],

Review: Regal Cigs advertises free samples of electronic cigarettes and all you have to pay for is the shipping which is $4.95, the next thing you know they are charging your credit/debit card $119.95 then right after that charges you again another $94.90 before you even receive anything from them. Then when contacting them you can`t get through to them on the phone, but when you email them you get a response and there telling you that you agreed to all of this and if you want a refund you have to request a RMA to return products you haven`t received, then they want to charge you 25% restocking fee. This is one of those gimmicks for big companies to take your hard earned money when your thinking your just getting a sample to try but they end up signing you up for the full tour for your convenience as they say. They are very quick to take your money but don`t want to give it back when you ask for it, then they don`t offer it all back and try to talk you into the purchase by offering you a discount on their product. So buyers BEWARE of anything that is suppose to be free.Desired Settlement: I want all of my money back, $214.85 ( minus the original $4.95 ) that was not authorized to be removed from my account and NO 25% restocking fees.
