Unfortunately you cannot be refunded for the starter kit because you disputed the charge with your bank.  When you dispute a charge it essentially freezes your account and it is then your bank's decision should you be refunded.  Your account has been canceled and you will no longer be billed nor shipped anything further.

When the charge amount appeared on our statement, of course we would dispute the transaction.  Hopefully they will remove that transaction and we will be made whole.  If not, we will work through the Revdex.com.  For you to wash your hands of this is premature since we have not heard back from our credit card company.

I have attached two documents to this response showing both the disputes and their respective "Case ID" numbers.  Disputing a charge gives your bank the decision whether you should be refunded or not.  We cannot issue a refund once a dispute has been filed.  The order was placed almost half a year ago and was never returned to us also.  I do apologize Ms. [redacted], but we cannot refund you for the $119.95 charge.

If you wan to be refunded for the starter kit and refills you will need to return them.  I have issued you an RMA number for both the starter kit and refills and return instructions have been sent to you via separate email.  I have also waived the 20% restocking fee and you will not be charged anything upon receipt of the returned products.  You will be issued a full refund of $199.90 once we receive the returned products (both the $4.95 and $9.95 shipping fees are non-refundable).

There are a couple of reasons why we cannot issue you a refund for the product.
 
1.  First, and foremost, you disputed the $119.95 charge twice: once on January 9th and a second time on February 18th.  Disputing a charge essentially freezes your account and gives your bank the decision should you be refunded. 
2.  The product was never returned back to us
3.  You are outside of the 30 day money back guarantee; this order was placed almost six months ago and this is too old for us to do anything with.
 
I apologize but there is nothing we can do to assist you in issuing a refund.

Review: MAIN problem. Their ad will NEVER tell you that the so called free trial is actually signing up for a subscription. If you dont return the trial kit within 14 days they will charge you $119.00 and continue the subscription. Also, these things taste NOTHING like a cigarette. My experience was like sucking on an old stick it was lousy flavor. You HAVE to call them and get an RMA# (return merchandise authorization number) and you have to pay to ship it back. GET A TRACKING NUMBER AND TRACK IT. If you dont track it and get CONFIRMATION that they received it and signed for it, they will CLAIM they NEVER received it. If youve cancelled, and do NOT track it, they will charge you $140.00 for the KIT theyll claim they NEVER received. Even if you do EVERYTHING right, they will STILL charge your card or account the $119.00 and youll have to call and make them put it back in your account. They also charge you a $23.95 restocking fee even IF you do EVERYTHING right. I had to cancel my credit card (big headache, since I don't use multiple cards)that Ive had for years and opening a new one to keep them from charging me yet again, (WHICH THEY WILL CONTINUE TO DO) and claim its just an error. In my opinion, and based on PERSONAL experience, this company practices THEFT BY DECPTION. I am not alone in this "phantom fee" charging nemesis outfit ripoff. To date they have billed me, $4.95, $119.95 and $69.90. In the hours I have wasted dealing with these scammers I have received a $47.96 dollar credit. I have timely returned all items they have sent to me and have verification.Desired Settlement: $141.89

Review: I participated in the trial offer of RegalCigs (electronic cigarettes). I paid the shipping and handling fee of $4.95 to try the product. The product took a while to arrive, and when it did, I called the company to cancel the trial and return the product. This was done in the time period they have stated in their terms and conditions. To return the product you have to receive a RMA number. At this time, the customer service rep tried to talk me into continuing which I declined to and wanted to return the product. I was assigned a number and to told that as long as it was mailed back by Nov. 22, my credit card would not be charged. I sent it priority mail and they received the product back by the time I was required to send it. However, they must have delayed the return process in their operations, charged my credit card $59.98. I was told it would be refunded but they only refunded $35.99. I have contacted the company several times and emailed them. They do not have a formal complaint process, a corporate number or a legal department to address any concerns with. Their customer service department claims the $23.99 is for the 20% restocking fee they charge. So, long story short, this is extremely misleading to the consumer and deceptive practices on their part. The consumer is paying a shipping and handling charge to try a product. Even if the consumer follows the directions of the return policy and cancelation policy, the consumer is being charged an unfair amount. They are going to charge a 20% restocking fee of the $23.99 on what? On something they should not have charged you for to begin with and then on a original cost? The problem cannot be resolved talking to their customer service reps because they will not forward calls to any higher official in the company, there are no corporate names or numbers, or a legal department to contact. I am told that the terms and conditions are clear and that is it. This is a matter of defrauding consumers. So, to try a product which I did not try and sent back new, cost me $4.95 S&H, around $10.00 to mail back, and a restocking fee of $23.99? Something definitely wrong with this situation. Unfortunately, I did not check with the Revdex.com before hand about the company, and have found out there are hundreds of complaints.Desired Settlement: My desire is to have my credit card refunded the additional $23.99 and to have all my credit card information deleted from their system, as know I have to fear that they will not charge my card with any other charges.

Review: Regal cigs.com contacted me by e-mail with a free trial offer of their e-cigaret for a shipping and handling fee of $4.95 which they withdrew from my debit/checking account. A trial period of 14 days was mentioned in the e-mail, where if I was not satisfied I could return the product and get a refund. What they did not disclose was the full price of the trial kit, which was $119.00. I called them back to get a Return Merchandise Authorization number because I was not satisfied with "hidden" fees and automatic renewal, which was not disclosed until after the initial transaction was processed. I believe their practices are unethical. They told me there would be a "restocking fee" of $23.99, which also was not mentioned in the e-mail or packaging. So I am out $29.00 plus the shipping fees to send it back and none of this was disclosed at the time of order.

Review: As a thank you gift for participating in a third party's survey I was offered the RegalCig starter kit for free, I only had to pay shipping. Eventhough I am not a smoker, I agreed to pay the shipping and get the free starter kit for a coworker who had mentioned she would like to try them. I was never directed to any terms and conditions and never clicked any buttons saying that I agreed to anything. A few days later I received an email telling me that I had been enrolled in a program for which I would be sent products every t30 days and my credit card would be charged. It also stated that I had been given a 14 day free trial, not a free starter kit as the ad claimed. If I didn't return the product within 14 days of placing the order, my credit card would be charged $110, even if the product did not arrive within the 14 days. Well, I called right away to cancel the order, eventhough they could not provide me with a tracking number, I was told that the kit had been shipped. I was told that if I wanted to cancel I would have to wait for it to arrive, call them to receive a return number, and ship it back. If that was all done and they received the product back within the 14 days, then they would cancel my order, but I would have to pay to ship it back and be charged a $24 restocking fee. This is a very short window to get everything turned around, especially when there is no guarantee that the company will ship the product in a timely manner. I believe these are deceptive practices that purposefully bilk people out of their money. The product that is advertised as a free gift ends up costing people over $115.Desired Settlement: I want reimbursement for shipping charges, cancellation of my so called membership, and I do not want to be charged a restocking fee. I would also like these deceptive practices changed with a statement before checking out that the person is aware that they are being enrolled in an ongoing program that will charge their card every 30 days. I would also like to see that the "free gift" be explained as a free 14 day trial and not a free kit.

Review: As it is already reported to your site and there are hundreds of complaints against this company online through Google search, I got scammed by them.The online ad I came across was saying try this product and you only pay the S&H. I thought if I like the product, I would order the refills through them and that's how they make money and pay for the product they sent me for free.After doing a search by accident to see if people liked the product (I was going to give this to my mom and just wanted to make sure it is good), I came across the reviews by people like me who were scammed. So I immediately called and got the same result as other people reported (They were going to charge me for the product after 2 weeks, and then over 30 days after for the refill). I did not know and they had not specified this when I came across their online posting.Anyways, I told them to cancel my order. They said they still were going to charge me a restocking fee of 20%. I told them the product has not been used and it is in its original box and not opened. They said it didn't matter and they were going to charge me anyways.I ended up paying roughly $3.99 + $1.99 for the original shipping and handling. I paid $15 to send the product back through UPS and they are going to charge me for restocking fee.I called my credit card company to block them (i.e. Capital One). they called them and they hung up on them after several attempts.Please stop these crooks from scamming people.Desired Settlement: I don't think you have a relationship with them but I would like to get my money back if I can.

Review: Purchased item through an Ad on the face of my online bank account (advertisement).

Only pay shipping of $4.95 for a prize that you have won. Choose your prize, of course the

50 dollar gift card was already gone. Chose the e-cigs gift. Received the items in good order,

Balanced credit card and found that I was charged $119.95.

Called customer service to request a refund and credit my account accordingly.

Customer service refused to allow me to ship the unused items back and get a refund,

only if I get my credit card company on the phone with them because I filed a dispute with my credit card company.

I just want refund .....Desired Settlement: Allow me to return the items and get a full refund to my credit card account
