I would give if I couldPurchased a car in had ok credit but got a co-signerCar was 20,XXX from dealer ok thats fineRegional charged me $16,or so in finance chargesOk 100% my fault for needing a car at the time to get back and forth to work so I did itSo year goes by or paying on time I go to refinance "oh we don't do that" ok so be it, continue to payWell lo and behold here we are 5+ years into paying $a month on a month loan and I still owe $14,000+ after years months of paymentMy loan matures in Aug of and I STILL owe $14,000+ how is this even possibleThe car is only worth maybe $4,I'm so upside down no other dealer will touch the vehicleI have done my research and this seems to be a common theme with this companySo to review I have owned my Ford Fusion for months, I have paid Regional $29,on the vehicle thus far and they still say I owe another $14,000+ which is crazy when I only have payments left of $So in total what was supposed to cost me $36,or so is going to cost me $44,000+ how is this legal??

Continuous calls after asked to be removed from auto dialed
I have asked numerous times for them to remove me from the automatic call system and they have not stopped the callsThey yell at me and ask why I am past due which increases my anxiety

They call the numbers you gave when you purchased the vehicle even after you ask them to not call any numbers besides yours

This business has funds that are owed to me that have not been refundedEach time I call about the refund, I get brushed off with no true resolution
On 10/03/2017, my car was declared totaled by my insurance company
I continued to make the payments to the lien holder until my insurance company and GAP claims could settle the amount still owed to the lien holder with the expectations of being reimbursed for the amount that I continued to pay to avoid negative reporting on my credit
On 01/18/2018, all debts were settled in full with the lien holderOn that date, I was informed a refund would be issued to me for the amount that I had paid in excess of what was owed
When two weeks passed and I did not receive the refund, I contacted the lien holder to be informed to give the check at least working days from the date the amount was paid off to reach me due to processingThat date was 02/08/

This place is horribleThey are a terrible company Their customer service is extremely rudeIf you find a courteous person on the phone, then you are lucky!They threaten you, call your home, they have even called my family members threatening them as well

I had set up an automatic withdrawal to come out of my account and found out I only owe a lower amount so I called and the posted transaction was voided and I made a payment in the amount that I oweI received an email stating that both amounts were taken out of my bank account so I called RAC as soon as I read itDue to it being a Friday night , the supervisor *** that * spoke with informed me that the guy forgot to delete the payment of $and that the accounting dept was closed so he would call me first thing Monday am at when he got in the officeI gave him until to call me on Monday and then I started calling and leaving him message- finally I got to speak with *** who informed me that *** was out of the office but that he would look into it and call me backWell it's Wednesday and I'm still waiting on a call back from *** did call me back on Monday- kind of funny since David said he wasn't there- but it was after 5:I was informed that I should have the money in my account tomorrow which would have been TuesdayTuesday came and still no refundI eventually get *** on the phone at 4:(I have been leaving messages all day) and he informs me that my bank might be pending it which is bs but I humored the situation and called my bankAfter calling my bank I called *** back who told me it would be there tomorrow and if not to call him first thing in the morning because he gets there at 8amToday is Wednesday and I have called *** twice and still no response nor $in my account
I am disgusted at the unprofessionalism of the company and their sooo called managers and would like answers or atleast for them not to be rude and ignore their mistake
I have an attorney on standby because this matter has caused huge financial burdens and the lack of communication and lies from RAC is causing pain and suffering and medical issues

I purchased my car in April of with the amount financed being about $36,My monthly note is $and occasionally I have paid extraI thought that if I just kept paying each month that I would pay the loan offHowever, in November of I paid $to Regional Acceptance, then on the December statement I notice that $was applied to the interest and $was applied to the principalThis was very disturbing and upsetting to me that after years I was only paying toward interestThis prompted me to look at the February, March and April statements (I could find) and realize on those statements $was all going to principal and late feesAlso according to the 06/04/(Notice Date) Regional Acceptance Statement, I owe $31,878.20, with a Day Payoff Valid through (06/24/2018) of $33, I was granted extension notes over the past years after my income became about half of what it was when I purchased the carNevertheless, taking into consideration the extension notes I have still paid around $52,in payments ($899.11/month over years minus the months that was added to the end of the loan (extension notes))This means only about $have been paid on my principal, the remaining money that I have paid (about $47,900.00) has all been used to pay interest and late feesAt this rate in another years I will have paid only about $on the principalWhat worst the car has been in need of very expensive repairs (i.e., replacing the Rack & Pinion System and other like repairs $1000+), which has caused me to struggle to make car note paymentsThis is such horrible treatment by Regional Acceptance CorporationI have paid them one and one half more in money than the cost of the vehicle when I purchased itI admit that I should have caught this outrageous gouging of my finances years ago, but I was just trying to do the right thing and make my payments, despite the very high interest rate of the loanI dispute the way Regional Acceptance continually take their clientele money and applying all of it to interest and very little to principal for years, making people pay almost twice or more in payments than what they purchased the car for originallyMy first payment in April and my payment in November was all interestShame on you Regional Acceptance Corporation for taking advantage of people that trusted you and only wanted to do what was right, when your dealing have been unethical and dishearteningI don't feel I will ever pay for this car before it is totally inoperableRegional Acceptance you've collected $52,for a $36,vehicle, please give me a break!

They have refused to send my loan payment history to my gap insurance for payoff after my vehicle was totaledThis has been going on for months now and still unable to get this issue resolvedI have requested it on several occasions and each time they say they will take care of itMy gap insurance company has stated they have not received the requested information and regional acceptance will not communicate with the gap insurance company

Hello, I summited a review of my experience with Regional Acceptance Corporation (***) on June 6, 2016, and decided to do a follow upI was contacted by *** personnel in writingIt was a short letter, indicating they had tried to contact me but could not so they sent me the letter, but did not really explained themselves much, I'm assuming it was about my reviewThis is what I wrote back:
"Dear *** ***
I am responding to your company's letter regarding what I assume was my complaint to the Revdex.com regarding my move from Virginia to *** and my need for a copy of my car's title to be send to the *** DMVOnly then *** I be able to register the car to my new address and obtain new plates, as per the laws in ***
Please understand that I work similar hours as RAC's (Regional Acceptance Corporation) costumer's service, and by the time I get home, the costumer service's department *** usually be closedOn the times that I was lucky enough to be able to call during working hours, I would be transferred from person to person between to times, with the corresponding waiting times for each personI was once made to wait minutes, just to be told that she did not know what to do, so "wait, I will transfer you to the right department", just to transfer to the collections departmentAsking for the names of the people that I was dealing with was useless, as the next person would claim that "no one with that name works here"Very disrespectfulI am now exclusively dealing with *** personnel and the *** *** to resolve my issue
I cannot be the only person ever that has moved from Virginia to *** and has to transfer her car's registration and platesThere is no excuse for the total lack of information that RAC's costumer service's personnel have on the matterI will stand by my statement that, unless it is to process a monthly loan payment, your employees in the RAC's costumer department are clueless about the basics of helping the publicI hope steps can be taken to educate them."
I'm not complaining to get people in trouble, although I admit I am very angryI hope some steps can be made in this corporation to improve costumer serviceThe good news is that I do not need to involve them anymore with my situation

I have made on time payments up until mid last year I spoke regularly with them to help me resolve my issues I have been wrongfully suspended from my job and just this past October they repossesed my vehicle They haven't contacted me since I haven't recived a phone call a collection letter nothing No they just railroaded it to a court case If you have the option no one should deal with this company

This company was good in the beginningOur car was stolen in November We have been battling the gap insurance to pay off what our car insurance didn't payThey were assisting us, but they wanted us to sign a contract for the balanceThen June they sent us a letterWhich we received June and said if we havedays from this letter to pay the account in fullJUne I got an alert on my credit that the account was charged offThey didn't even give us time to try and get the gap to help pay the remaining balanceThis company is horrible

worse company ever. they called my work to make a payment the rep was [redacted] I should of none better took my payment it went through then 2 weeks later tried to steal my money buying airline tickets in Saudi arabia, London I was notified by my bank's fraud department and they guy got caught then they did a check with out my authorization I had to do a stop payment luckily the check never went through I hate these ppl stop calling and harassing me

I paid my car note on the automated system the first one said it was not accepted and I didn't get a conformation so I tried again it was accepted and I got a conformation. When I checked my account it was in the negative. I called and asked for a refund and I was told it would take 24 to 48 hours. 48 hours went by and everyday my account is getting hit with overdraft fees. Every time I call someone different tells me it will be there in the morning. At first I just wanted my money refunded now I want my overdraft fees as well. When you talk to a customer service rep they act like it's your fault and they don't know what to do. I WANT MY MONEY AND 3 DAYS OF OVER DRAFT FEES .

I moved from Virginia to Maryland and for more than a month I have been trying to change the car title to my new state. The Regional Acceptance Co customer service is the most ill informed people I have had to deal with in a long time. All their representatives know is how to take a payment over the phone, NOTHING ELSE! They don't know the rules and regulations of their own company, they don't know the difference between needing to make a payment and needing ANY other type of assistance, and if your are not going to make a payment, the representative immediately assumes your car is about to be repossessed and you need to contact the collection department. To make matters worse, they do not keep a copy of the car title, they have a contract with a 3rd company called [redacted] (I kid you not, that's the name) and they act like a just-broken-up-couple that can't stand talking to their ex! Why be business partners then? EVERY (no exceptions!) Regional Acceptance Co. costumer service representative that I have tried to work the title transfer problem with, acts like they have NEVER heard of people moving from one state to another, and like they have NEVER heard form [redacted] until I lose my temper and talk to them like the is they are. Oddly, getting yelled at like children jogs their memory and then they remember what they do with the car titles in their care. So, I'm about to solve my problem (no thanks to them), at least the [redacted] costumer service people are not incompetent like the Regional Acceptance Co ones.

I called into regional acceptance on XX-XX-XXXX to check the balance on my account and make a payment. I first spoke with [redacted]! when going over my information with her and inquiring about the charges and how they were accessed; she been to holler and talk rudely like I didn't understand what was being said. I asked to speak with a sup, her sup [redacted] got on the phone and I asked for [redacted]'s last name initial or her agent ID. She informed me neither could be given out. At that point I asked the supervisor for the spelling of her first name and she told me to spell it however I felt it was spelt. I'm highly [redacted] off with the customer service that I receive from this company. This isn't the first time that I have had to complain regarding the way that they speak with the customers. I cant wait until this car is paid off so I could be done with them. I will also be leaving a customer review about them... This is sick and I cant deal with it anymore... Next time that I have to go through this with them I do plan to go above this ...
