After refurbishing our in-ground vinyl liner pool, I decided to swim again (after years in a wheelchair)I now require a lift, so last FebI got a very reasonably priced quote from Rehabmart for a manual Hoyer pool liftTwo days later I was informed that a special cement sleeve was required to instal the manual lift to the tune of an additional $400+, I received the sleeve and later the lift, but I did not open the boxes as I didn't want to lose parts before having it installedI called their customer service to ask who might be recommended to instal the lift and was given the names of several companies, none of whom knew anything about lift installationI called R-M again, and again I got fruitless leads, no help nor ideas of what to doAfter a month of searching, I found a local concrete core/drilling company who was willing to help (It's now June!)We opened the box and found two sleeves and no sling seat and only of washers required for proper assemblyThere was no packing parts slip eitherI contacted the manufacturer, Joerns Healthcare, who told me the sling seat was extra but the sleeve was included in the kit, which makes sense since it was in the main box of lift parts and the extra un-needed sleeve was notR-M's rep told me the opposite of this on the following day, that only the sling seat was included in the kitThe seat that I would have purchased would cost considerably less on Amazon than a $400+ price for the sleeve that, according to the manufacturer, WAS INCLUDEDR-M provided a return label for the extra sleeve, and told me the missing washers and sling seat won't go out till June and will take 5-days more to get here (Most co's with decent service would send it out via 2-day expedited mailing since it was THEIR MISTAKE)Because of their use of deceptive, misleading advertising that did not disclose what was sold in CLEAR TERMS, and their "could care less" attitude, I rate them a ZERO STAR RATING!
