We had Andy M. fix our jacuzi. He was very polite and personable and was able to fix the jacuzi. He was extremely professional, explained what he was going to do, getting our OK before proceeding with the repairs. I would highly recommend Andy and Gregg's Home Services.
I have always had good service from Gregg's. Not that they haven't made mistakes but they have always been willing to come back and correct it. Individuals I have dealt with in person are great! They are priced highly but then my expectations are that the work is done correctly by fully trained and qualified individuals.
I recently had Brett, an employee with Gregg's plumbing and Heating service my furnace. While I was not thrilled with the news that it was likely time to look at replacing my furnace, I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable in both his assessment of and recommendations for.appropriate solutions to my problems. Because I was unfamiliar with the equipment he was suggesting, I did a fairly extensive review on the internet to educate myself...his assessment and recommendations were spot on target. As well he went out of his way to modify a sale his company had on to exactly suit my needs..it was a great deal as well....however I still think the government should pay for furnaces!!!!!!:)
Blake R. helped us on short notice with a hot water heater replacement. His service was outstanding! He is knowledgeable, pleasant, and provided other consulting information on the state of our furnace room and future needs and considerations. He also taught us about the ongoing maintenance of our water heater.
I want to provide some feedback on the work done at my home by Andy M. on October 17 and October 19, 2016. Andy arrived on time both days. On October 17, 2016 he introduced himself and provided an oral background of his training and specializations as a technician. The call on October 17, 2016 was for him to have a look at my tank less hot water heater which Gregg's had installed six years previously. The hot water heater had stopped providing hot water two days previously. Andy clearly and precisely informed me about what the possible problems might be and the causes and results or implications that might come with each problem. He was forthright and clear in his explanations and was more than willing to answer any questions or concerns I had. I appreciated that he noted some failings on my part in how I was looking after the hot water heater. A valuable learning moment for me. This was done in a positive and informative way for me.
He went about trouble shooting the situation and did a thorough and complete check of my hot water heater. His inspection was precise and thorough both inside and outside of the house. Within a short period of time he had diagnosed that the air intake was blocked with debris and proceeded to take care of the issue so that the hot water heated again worked and again provided hot water. I asked if he would reset the thermostat and the time settings. This he obliging did.
While he was working, he communicated with me in a personable manner and explained what he was doing clearly. The technical jargon was kept to a minimum and the emphasis was on expanding my knowledge about the use of the hot water heater. The invoice for the work was very detailed and clearly spelled out the cost of each aspect of the service. At the end of the appointment it was arranged for him to return on October 19, 2016 and he would do a Whole-House Home Safety and House Plumbing report card. I was most impressed by Andy's approach to the job--he was clear, to the point and efficient in using his time.
On October 19, 2016 Andy arrived on time and conducted a very thorough Home Safety Report and Whole-House Plumbing Report Card. He went through the plumbing in the house with a fine tooth comb and asked a lot of questions to make sure any issues or concerns I had with the plumbing were checked and discussed.. In a house that is 45 years old, even though I have tried to maintain, there were issues that now needed to be dealt with. His final report was very complete and listed in detail what needed to now be done in the way of maintenance, repair or replacement of equipment. This was all discussed with me thoroughly. The plan was presented to me in the form of three options--each option laid out in detail and completely priced. He also illustrated each option with information about each replacement item and the cost implications. I was able to ask a lot of questions so that I could determine what was the best choice for me. He explained the financial options I had for payment. Once I had made my decision, he set up an immediate appointment to begin work. On the whole I was most impressed and extremely satisfied with Any's work and customer relations. I look forward to having Andy at the house completing the work planned.
Blake recently did some work in our home, he was very knowledgeable, professional, honest and helpful. I will definitely request Blake when having future work done.
I always request Alex as our technician. He is so friendly, he explains things clearly, I know his job is to also sell us something and he is polite but not pushy when he suggests upgrades. I personally don't like that part of the visit. We pay a lot to have the free checkup so if the checkup is good that's all I want.
Narciso P was friendly and good at letting me know about the results of the servicing of my furnace. He also advised of items that would help in gas detection for my home etc.
I phoned Gregg's yesterday and spoke to Laura about an intermittent leak I had had over the past three years and had started again recently. She was able to get me an appointment the same day because of a cancellation. Her willingness to help and give me the best service possible was exceptional particularly given that I was quite stressed about the whole thing. Then Erwin came at 2 as scheduled. After some discussion about this intermittent leak and initially thinking he would have to take the basement ceiling down he decided that it was upstairs at the main drain where the kitchen sink and d/w attached. He put an 8" hole in my dining room at the exact location of the main drain and sure enough there was the leak. Very impressed with both Laura and Erwin and the price was very reasonable. Thank you for true 'customer service'!
Gregg's does not stand behind their work. Paid more than $500 for them not to fix my drain problem. They want another $189 just confirm they did not fix the problem. I must say they are cheery in their incompetence. Avoid this company.
