We purchased many windows and 1 patio door in Sept 2018. During install the crew installed windows in incorrect locations and had to reinstall. They broke my wedding shadow box and left many separations of drywall due to over use and abuse of the sawsall tool. Almost immediately the windows and patio door presented issues. Lots of air coming in and wind noise. It took over a year to fix the windows to include one that had already had a spring issue. It also took over a year to fix all the damage to the drywall. Now the patio door. Still major issues after over 15 tech visits, they have sealed, resealed, replace parts of the frame. I want a new patio door maybe even an upgrade and some type compensation so many hours of issues and higher bills due to air coming into my home.

I keep receiving multiple emails from different email addresses from renewals by Andersen and I have never even heard of the company. I never signed up for emails. This is getting ridiculous. One day I spam one address the next day a new one pops up.

I am leaving a one star review after all things considered. The salesman showed us the windows and we decided to purchase 6 windows for the front of our condo. What the salesman did not make clear is there is a $53 monthly finance charge on top of everything else... now he informed us of the interest rate- which is good 6.99% annually.. But the fact that the minimum payment as of currently is $111... and $53 of that goes to a finance charge so only 49$ is actually going towards the 9,000$ balance...I didn't know this finance charge even existed until we were locked in and cant get out of it. I feel like people need to be informed of what they're signing up for and the salesman needs to tell the homeowner loud and clear exactly how it breaks down and what you're paying for. I feel taken advantage of and like he hid this information in big summary numbers because if I was informed that there was a finance charge on top of everything else we would not have gone this route. Its gonna take forever to pay this down which is shoddy business practice. Get it together Renewal by Andersen!

Ran into a salesman working my neighborhood,he said he knows nothing about a finance charge! He also said he was going to get in touch with someone and get back to me which is never did!! They only want to talk to you if you’re BUYING something. Oh!! And our salesman’s phone # is just a dialup tone every time when I try to call

I receive a continuous stream of email spam from this company. Unsubscribing does nothing. Blocking the sender does nothing as they use multiple accounts. I want this to stop.

Andersen windows replaced seven large in my sunroom. I had three different employees come out to my home and each gave a different measurement. The last measurement was suppose to line up with my sliding door since I was told the new windows couldn't match the measurements of the rest of my home. My windows got installed on February 24, 2020 and the measurements were short. I have been getting the run around and asked for them to replace my windows with the right windows. This has been two days of going back and forth. No one has given me an answer

I contacted renewal by Anderson back on 8/22/2019 and they installed the wrong door. When I try to get assistance about replacing the door with the correct door, I was advised that they would not install the correct door that I paid for. I paid $6,391 for a door that is leaking water inside of my home and it is not painted. I did not pay for the door that they installed in my house.
I have been contacting them for months trying to get this resolved and there has been no resolution. I asked if they could refund me a partial refund for the door and I would just keep the one that I have, But The person I was speaking with refuses to issue me a refund or install another door in my home for equal value. I got work done at the Las Vegas location which is *** Las Vegas Nevada 89118. I am just asking for some type of resolution I do not want them to come back in my home and create a mess and get dirt and dust everywhere to replace the same door that's already in my home. I'm simply just requesting a partial refund I was asking for 1,200 but something that is appropriate for the inconvenience and installing the incorrect door in my home.

Please explain exactly which door you are trying to put in my home? As I already said I do not want a bunch of dirt and dust in my home. I offered to keep the door already installed for a partial refund. Also will I get some sort of refund for the inconvenience? I tried calling the office Wednesday, but it was no answer. I would like a detailed plan on what I should be expecting. Thanks.

We met with B on 1/26/20 for consult. He was very nice and personable. Our complaint is lack of disclosure provided on all necessary info ex-cancellation policy and hard copy contract. We were presented with a online doc stating it was a simple form to get started. He did not encourage reviewing in full and seemed quick to get our signature. We never received a paper contract to review, sign and obtain copy. He told us copies of what we signed will be mailed in a few weeks..huh? We were presented a hard copy of payment schedule with GreenSky financing and windows were were considering ordering. On 1/22/20 Anderson came over to take measurements of the window/slider. I sent B a text on 1/23/20 asking him how the GreenSky account became activated we did not activated it ourselves as GreenSky requested. We wanted time to consider moving forward in the project before activating it. In the interim Anderson charged over $6 K on the supposed new GreenSky acct on 1/23/20! I became uncomfortable with B's answer to this concern. I texted him on 1/24/20 letting him know we wanted to put the order on hold. He said it was already in progress and could not refund the $ but would try to work out a deal for the money. This all seemed so sketchy to me as I asked for the hold only a few days after consult. This, on top of the fact the product never even made it to manufacturer yet. He eventually only went down to the price of a slider only because we agreed to pay cash but still very expensive! I have not reported this yet as I have been recovering from surgery since that first consult. I had been inundated with calls and texts from Anderson insisting I get a delivery date set. We felt forced into all this so made a date to make them stop. We closed the Green Sky account with 0 balance now. However, we prefer not to have the slider or pay the cost of it which is just over $4K which is allot!

The customer did not request us to cancel the order until it was well past the rescission period and therefore too late. She kept asking us to re-quote it and said she wanted to downsize; saying they were uncomfortable with the GreenSky financing, which we refunded and cancelled.
We did what we could to reduce the dollar amount of the project in which she agreed to move
forward with only the patio door. A new deposit was taken via credit card. We then sent all
of her documents via email along with the amendments. We did tell her that GreenSky
would mail her a hard copy of her statement.

Had an equally terrible experience with these guys in Los Angeles. A custom door was delivered as a replacement to an earlier one that shattered during a break-in. The door sat on the floor for days and then when it was finally delivered. it needed to be painted - but on one side only! Still waiting for them to tell us what they are going to do to fix the problem.

Had nothing but difficulties with the sales and other personnel. The customer service was so bad that it doesn't even qualify as bad customer service.

Ordered my patio door replacement on July 29, 2019. Installer come September 18 and removed old door but new door did not fit!!! Had to reinstall old door. Came in late October with correct door BUT screen did not fit. Came back Feb 14 with screen but that did not fit!!! To date from July work still not finished. I paid a fortune for this door. Very unhappy that General Manager in RI put me off to Service Manager.

March 2019- Renewal By Andersen (RBA) Salesperson came by the house to sell door & window updates & quoted approx. $10,000 for the replacement & installation of one glass sliding door unit. This included it being properly installed and plumbed left to right and front to back. Steve ***, the rep, assured me that it would be installed properly & to the specifications agreed upon. He went on to share that he was originally an installer and confirmed exactly how it would be done.

May 2019 - Installation crew from RBA came to install the sliding door.

During the very beginning of the installation, I approached them and told them the way they were doing it was Not the way the installation was agreed upon with Steve ***. They replied saying that was the way it was going to be done, it was too late to make any changes & were going to continue installing it that way.

May 2019 - called company right away to express concerns & disappointment with the incorrect installation.The faulty installation causes improper function, drainage issues & affects longevity of the door. RBA finally sent out John ***, after making numerous attempts and trying to get a response. John *** came out and saw the sliding door unit and how it was not installed properly. He said ‘no problem, we will schedule a re-install and have it taken out & reinstalled properly.”

In the interim, I hired a certified Andersen service tech, Time ***, to come inspect the job. He sent a detailed email confirming it was a bad install and will “never work or perform properly until this (reinstallation) is done.” Sept 2019

John *** confirmed a re-installation date of 10/30. Two days prior to that, I got a call saying they were not going to do it & instead they were sending another rep to look at it again.

They sent Jeremy, another rep & stated they now aren’t willing to do the reinstall as agreed upon. I then stated I wanted my money back. After many attempts Jeremy would no longer respond.

Our Installation Manager discussed the issues with the project; as follows:1. He was sold on the fact
that the existing house wall that’s 4 inches out of plumb would be fixed. Unfortunately, we discussed how the
opening couldn’t be fixed without addressing the entire wall, which is
something we would not get involved with. He understands that now as this type of major repair work is completely outside the scope for this project Further, we never charged him to do this work either.

2. We explained the water
management system of the door and why it needed to be installed on the
same drainage plain as the wall it’s installed into. He also understands
that now.

The customer told us that he doesn’t want to alter
the installation at all anymore now that he has a better understanding.
However, we understand that he was disappointed that no one told him this prior to the work being completed as he had different expectations.

They need to educate they’re staff in the future to prevent these situations. I will find a qualified company to install the unit properly.

What a disappoint windows and patio doors, have turned out to be! I spent a significant amount of money to replace original windows and patio doors supplied by Renewal by Andersen. Per service rep the poor seal and built up of condensation is do to humidity, sunlight, wind, window covering but no responsibility for poor quality product they installed. Extremely dissatisfied with how they are windows and doors are performing. Why Renewal by Andersen does stand by their products and blame environment or homeowner is ridiculous. Quality control or just quality of their products help build the companies reputation, today blaming others for product failure is the only thing they stand by. I would not recommend anyone waste their money on such a poor preforming product and horrible customer service.

Non stop emails from Renewal by Anderson despite blocking hundreds of different addresses they keep coming, I live in Australia! Please stop the emails!!

Renewal by Andersen, Los Angeles, installed windows and doors at my residence on Oct 16-17, and 19, 2019 (Order ***). The screens for two windows were mis-sized and did not fit properly. When installed, they were bowed and left gaps between screen and sill. The assigned technician (Lee) agreed, on Oct 19, 2019, that they were defective. Lee took photographs and made notes and told me I would receive replacements. When I had received no further word for one month, I emailed Renewal by Andersen, Los Angeles (RbA), describing the circumstances, including photos, and asking for information as to when the replacement scre AND NO ONE CALLED. I again left voice msgs for Ms. on Monday, 1/20/20, and Tuesday, 1/21/20. NO ONE FROM RbA HAS FOLLOWED-UP RbA'S FAILURE TO INSTALL AS SCHEDULED, OR TO EXPLAIN WHY INSTALLATION DID NOT OCCUR, OR EVEN TO INDICATE RECEIPT OF MY 1/20 AND 1/21 VOICE MESSAGES. More than three months have now passed since the original work, and RbA ignored my appointment and will not return calls.

1/18. The team dropped the ball by not resetting with the customer and
did not follow up, we own this on not following established procedures.
The customer has now been reset for 2/18. We will attempt to offer some form of extra service or a gift card to apologize for the missed service appointment!

My husband and I replaced multiple exit doors with this company because it was supposed to be the best available. Papers signed in early august, job completed yesterday 1/24/20. EVERY aspect of the job was disappointing, and slipshod except for the installer who kept trying to correct their mistakes. Do yourself a favour and choose another company!

and *** purchased 8 Renewable by Andersen (RBA) casement window units on 17-Aug-2018 totaling $28,358. They were installed on 2-Oct-2018 and they failed to stain the sashes the same day. On 22-Oct-2018 the Stainers arrived and discovered mold on the sashes preventing the staining to be done. Mold caused by moisture along the edge of the sash, especially in the corners. RBA was contacted and replaced the sash saying the humidity @50% was too high & it needed to be lowered to 25%-30%. Saying 25% is best. We purchased a dehumidifier and reduced it to 30% which caused excessively dry/cracking skin on ***, *** and ***, yet there was still moisture and ice on colder days. We've contacted Customer Service multiple times explaining the situation. They've sent a representative four times with no success to the problem. They keep telling us to keep it at 25% humidity. Parents were told that these new windows would eliminate the moisture problem. Now representatives tell us to put a Marine sealer on wooden items to keep them from drying out/cracking. My parents have dry patches over their bodies and have been going to a Dermatologist who says humidity should be no lower than 40%. My skin got to the point of cracking. We use the prescriptions & lotions the Dermatologist recommends and our skin is slowly improving and we are back @50% humidity.. I spoke with a Civil Engineer and he said an Air Exchange might take care of the problem. My parents were told nothing about level of humidity needing to be so low nor asked if they had an Air Exchange. Had those questions been asked, we may not be where we are now.

I see we have been out to your home multiple times and discussed that based on the humidity in your home it may cause condensation/ice build up on the product. We would be more than happy to discuss your concerns again, but please remember that our product is energy efficient and you should expect to see condensation/ice build up on that product if you keep the humidity in your home that high.

I get two to three pieces of spam a day advertising Renewal by Andersen. I am fed up with it, seriously fed up with it.
After reading these reviews and complaints it seems Renewal by Andersen has a big SPAM problem and the only thing they say is sorry I will remove you. THAT is NOT good enough for me.

I never subscribed to any advertisement and the first place. I really despise unsolicited emails, if I want something I'll search for it I don't need people to advertise me products on the daily basis.

I'm going to forward you a few emails and hopes that you find the person responsible and send a clear message that you won't tolerate this type of behavior, terminate their account for breaking the law. The unsubscribe links don't work and it's fake email address you can't reply and it's hosted on a website that's known for spamming.

While I think the windows received are acceptable to a lower standard, the amount I paid for them and the lack of communication and customer service leaves me unsatisfied with my purchase of these windows. My story of a 4 day install is so long I could write a book and they aren't even completed......and I don't know when they will be complete because I can't get a response from the Operations Manager or my POC representative.

1) Lack of communication on install date.
2) Asked which floor they were starting prior to installer showing up so I could prep the areas. Was told either that I preferred. Prepped upstairs first and the installer shows up and says he doesn't have ladders.
3) Installation was not being completed as the salesman stated. I requested the project manager to show up. He didn't get there until 3:00 in the afternoon with no response on how to complete.
4) I asked for 8 am phone call from the Operations Manager, he didn't call until 10 am and that was only after the installer called to tell him I wasn't authorizing work on the house. Which then proceeded to a long frustrating morning talking to someone who didn't want to listen and I feel doesn't know what he is doing.
5) Windows had to be over bucked to adjust for window size being ordered too small, slider had to have drywall and header removed for door being too big, and second floor windows where not ordered with flanges for proper installation.
6) More non responses.....more non responses and more non responses!!!
7) Stucco company shows up unannounced. I request insurance from stucco company and the Operations Manger....NO RESPONSE!!!

Now I'm (7) days after installation has stopped and I still do not know when replacement windows will be shipped and the stucco guy is complete yet I don't know if he was licensed or insured.
